So the cop stomps on a man’s face as he is lying on the ground, handcuffed, and pinned down by another cop.
This has gone on forever, they just can’t quite grasp that they themselves are now filming everything. (I’m somewhat surprised this camera didn’t somehow ‘malfunction’)

Fuck blue lives; all cops are bastards by way of association with an inherently inhumane organisation, regardless of whether your mom's cop friend is a nice guy. This isn't a flaw in the system -- it's the point of the system. Police are an institutionalised pawn of white supremacy and fascism. Think critically and you'll never fucking think otherwise.
RIP George Floyd

ngl i’m kinda pissed bc i just looked through my school’s english classes and out of the THIRTY EIGHT total classes they offer *one* focused on asian literature. and out of my school’s thirty one social studies classes we have a class on BASEBALL but not one on asian american history
i go to a high school with 6000 students, almost a thousand of which are asian american or mixed and they don’t think that it’s important for us to learn about our own histories??? is it that they’re not worth telling???

Police told to scale back tactics in Daunte Wright protests, but violence continues
Police told to scale back tactics in Daunte Wright protests, but violence continues
Elected leaders in the Minneapolis suburb where a police officer fatally shot Daunte Wright want officers to scale back their tactics amid nightly protests, leaving some law enforcement called in to assist asking whether the city still wants their help. Hundreds of demonstrators have gathered outside the heavily guarded Brooklyn Center police station every night since former Officer Kim Potter,…

Trump is still worse no matter what you think about Biden. Sorry but that's true. You have to support him or you are endorsing everything Trump does.
i think you are responding to this post where i added a link to this article. what op said & i provided a link about was people need to be concious of the fact that “vote him out” wont end systematic racism and police brutailty. we know that because biden was vp when michael brown died and the ferguson protests started, and the obama admin did nothing to help them.
i never said not to vote for biden. however, if you are telling me not to talk about biden’s flaws, then you are telling me to be complicit in racism.

Recently I came to the conclusion that there is a misunderstanding, among some, about the difference between acknowledgment and apology.
As a child who was often on the receiving end of abuse, neglect, and abandonment I became an adult, after much prayer, introspection, counseling, and at times medication, who was in dire need of acknowledgment.
People to whom I asked, nay, demanded acknowledgement of the negative events that they caused feigned ignorance.  They did not understand the request no matter how I framed it.  They assumed, without listening, possibly out of guilt, that what I desired was an apology for what I “perceived” as their wrong doing.  However, as described in Lineage: A History in Faith there is no alternate perception of fact.
As the recipient I had spent decades coming to a place of forgiveness. I found that I did not need an apology because there was no way to change the situations that had occurred.  But, what I refused to go without was an acknowledgement of the fact that the situations themselves had transpired.  As a “victim," lack of acknowledgement leaves one with feelings of  emotional and mental confusion, often finding oneself constantly examining facts of past events.
It was with great relief that in one of my most significant relationships,  recounted in Lineage, I was able to finally get acknowledgement and therefore closure.  This long awaited acknowledgment has led to us having a much more honest, open, real relationship.
If I may, I would like to extrapolate my experience to that of the macro experience of Black Americans.  Apologies for the past atrocities such as slavery, Jim Crow, Civil Rights, lynching, police brutailty, are not necessary, demanded or required.  What is compulsory, however, is an acknowledgement of the truth of what was done to the Black person since they were taken from the Motherland.  This acknowledgment of facts is required and necessary for a truthful dialogue necessary to bring forth honest change and forward positive movement.  The first step to implementing change, complete the elementary and high school textbooks with the unadulterated truth about the history between this country and the Black American.  “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." -George Santayana.
My two cents.

Featured Friday: The Justice Collective
Today we are featuring The Justice Collective (TJC), one of our Attaché for Business Customers.
Tumblr media
We asked Lena Carew, the Head of Organizational Health and Innovation for the Justice Collective, to answer two questions, and we got great advice.
Q1 - What is your best management tip for small business owners?
Her Answer: Once you've learned every aspect of your business, invest in capacity through staffing that will enable you to grow. Many business owners work tirelessly to create systems for their business, yet many struggle to let go of (perceived) control and delegate tasks. Keeping a strong hold leads to burnout and exhaustion which stifles your company's growth and impact.
In the US, 97.5% of all Black women owned businesses do not have a single employee. After 5 years of operations, these same businesses only yield $23,876 in annual revenue. However, when Black women entrepreneurs are able to hire staff, in 5 years, their annual revenue jumps to $776,289 (Association for Enterprise Opportunity, 2017). There is too much to lose from trying to do it all. Get the help you deserve so you and your business can thrive.
Q2 -What tips would you give a company that is wanting to add diversity to their team?
Her Answer:
Diversity and anti-racism have become household discussion topics as we witness global protests against police brutailty in response to the horrific murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis caught on tape for the world to see.
As a result, many companies have fast tracked conversations about improving diversity at all levels and are asking themselves, what more can we do? At The Justice Collective, we support companies with going beyond vanity metrics and "checking boxes". For those who want to "do diversity right," we believe that a great starting point is to begin by asking, "Why is diversity important to you?" "How diverse are we now" (are you tracking employee race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socio economic factors)? "How diverse are your vendors?"
With this knowledge, companies should interrogate the experiences of current staff with respect to diversity by asking questions like: "How does one's racial identity impact their experience at the company?" "Are there patterns?" "What cultural norms (stated and unstated) impact one's sense of belonging, satisfaction, and promotional opportunities?" "What policies and protocols can be developed to ensure that diversity is truly represented across the company?"
The answers to the above questions are not exhaustive but they're a great starting point, and we encourage all companies to create space for critical and courageous conversations where appreciative inquiries are welcomed.

This is going to be a long list, so grab a coffee and settle yourself into my own skull cinema.
Firstly, some of the RF I have met, and some I have heard slot about from staff that have had a direct connection.
So, I often wonder about Harry. Just WTF is he thinking. Is he being led? We'd all like to think so, and I would love to blame Megain. However, let's think back first. He was bought up in a broken home long before Diana's death. Tensions would of been high. I liked what Di stood for, and I admire what she did - but as a person?(No) She was Trouble. I knew a Nanny who had to witness a terrible two tantrum of Diana's..foot stamped down, crying tantrum, full blown temper - except she was 9 years old at the time! Diana grew up to be Depressive, long suffering and manipulative. We know she played with the press. She loved Tarots etc and her card is that of the magician her numerology number 1. Diplomatic and shrewd. But she embraced the illusion rather than pursuing the profound goal. She was locked into negative patterns and prone to emotional pain most of her married life, she didn't grow out of a lot of this until after her divorce. Did any of that get rubbed off on her youngest son? Did she hug him and cry to him for love and affection,? We can't answer this, but it is worth considering. Diana was eager to be top dog and wanted to be number 1. This was proved, imho, when she encouraged Fergie in fashion. Sorry but pleats on a round frame is a big No-no. Everyone knows you have to be tall and slim to wear pleats! We don't know what she shared with her youngest son, so just keep that thought in the back of your head.
Now, Megain. I honestly don't think Diana would of liked her. In some ways they are too alike, and Diana was maturing when she got divorced and she would of recognised some traits of Megains immediately. I am sure Diana would of checked into Megains Tarots and numerology. Rachel, is ruled by number 4 Difficult and Argumentative. Tarot the Emperor, Stubborn to the point of tyranny even brutailty despite the fact she can't stand that trait in others. She is ruthless, active, hotheaded and somewhat irascible when encountering resistance. Because of these traits she will revolt against the system and only remain central to a group for a limited amount of time. (Unless the group is part of a revolution). She has to be free to speak and do as she pleases. She's clever, quick and elusive but also Oblivious, hot headed and undiplomatic.
Now let's add Harry into the mix. His tarot is the Devil card and numerology number 6. He feels baffled and bewildered when matters don't unfold properly. He's shy and retiring until his 30s. He has hidden ambitions, and he will want to keep them hidden until he's honed that talent. He's secretive. He carries slot of emotional hurt but he's had to work on it privately so that it doesn't effect his social interactions. The Devil tarot, Above all, he wants to be recognised. Recognised of success is wanted. Materialism of any form is an attraction as he's drawn to luxury and comfort. But the devil holds him a slave to this...his need for security and comfort. Overall he is motivated and expansive but sadly he has grown up to be materialistic and over ambitious.
Now, you have read that, do you still think it's just Megain in control? Sadly, I don't. I think Harry is just as bad as her. Yes she's pulling the strings, but he's not going along blindly. I think he was genuinely baffled with the press hating her - which to be fair, they'd just turned round on the African tour. If only they'd included her father. Maybe the press wouldn't have been so hard. It's nothing to do with race - she appears more white than cappacino anyway. Yes, she wants to be number 1, which is why I believe Diana wouldn't of liked her. I wish them luck, but I don't think I'll be watching the imbd to see what producer Harry and starlet Megain are doing. Hopefully he's secretive enough to have a few affairs like his folks!

Their text messages are revealing:
Myers writes “let’s whoop some ass.”
Hays writes “going rogue does feel good.”
Boone later replies that “it’s gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of these (expletive) once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart!!!!” On Sept. 17, he wrote that it was “a blast beating people that deserve it.”
This is why people take a knee.

White people: white privilege exists. I don't give two flying fucks if you disagree. So do the world a fucking favor and educate yourself before you start spouting to random strangers about how the cops target you just as much (or more) than someone of color. Also. Fuck off. Ain't nobody got time for that level of low-class, white ignorance. I'm a white woman. And if I got stopped by the police for a petty offense (public consumption of marijuana, public intoxication, etc), I'd be let go with a lil slap on my wrist. If I were a person of color (any gender) I'd likely be facing jail time and/or community service and a mark on my record. "White privilege doesn't exist." Pfft. Check yo-self before you fucking wreck yo-self.
