Btw I wanted to post this yesterday since yesterday was Angie's birthday.... I am sorry, I am late. Here we go!!

☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟYou've been waiting for this day to come ever since she told you about her birthday, Angie also said it's been years since she last celebrated it, you asked why but all she told you was she didn't like celebrating her birthday at all

Now you couldn't have that! It was always Angie to throw up a party whenever it was someone's birthday. She always managed to remember it

You wanted to do the same for her, she was no different than any of u!! She deserved to be treated same. Also it will be the first birthday you'll celebrate as a couple

You asked your friends for the help. Kirumi said she'd be more than happy to help with everything, but you declined. You needed her help for something else, like helping you prepare a breakfast for Angie! Taking the opportunity, Miu asked to be the one to decorate around, she had her ideas! Everybody objected. Miu was frustrated but she enjoyed this feeling, damn. Kaede asked to help Miu with decorations, so she'd make sure she isn't doing anything crazy. Then you accepted. Himiko sighed, saying she would decorate this room in a second with her maaagic and Tenko hyped her up just like always.. Rantaro and, obviously, Gonta said they'd help too!

With Kirumi's help, you started preparing the breakfast for the precious Angie, Kirumi was amazing for helping you out of this mess you created. (Unless you're good cook.... like me *blushes*) Kirumi was also helping Kiibo and Kokichi who were trying to bake the cake. Seriously, who let them. None of you agreed to that

After moments of you struggling, trying to get everything done, you finished preparing (my respect for kirumi 📈📈) and you went to Angie's room. You were trying your best not to drop Angie's breakfast, gee

You knocked on the door and waited for few minutes but you got no reply, you huffed to the thought of her not being there.. She left already? You thought about where she might be, you didn't have many areas to check since Angie didn't wander around school that much. She only went to dining hall and her ultimate lab.

Guessing she was in her lab, you went there and knocked on the door. You got no reply. Then it hit you, Angie wouldn't answer anyone. So you cleared your throat and called for her, "Angie! This is S/O, can you open the door?" You waited for few seconds and then you heard the door unlocked. "Hi, S/O!! I missed you!" Angie was quick to pull you in a hug which you returned immediately. "Uhm, Angie, are you busy right n-" "Come in, come in!" Not letting you speak, Angie held your hand and let you in her lab. It was messy around but it'd be too much to ask Kirumi to clean around, so you noted yourself to clean sometime. "S/O, sit, there's something I want you to see." Angie spoke quickly before leaving to get something.

You waited there for couple of seconds patiently as she approached you with a canvas she held between her arms, she giggled before facing it you, it was a detailed portrait of you, the face she adored so much and loved more than anything- "Do you like it, S/O? Do you, do you? I suddenly got an idea to draw you this morning and couldn't help it!" She handed the painting to you and you tried to choose the right words for seconds. Giving up, you looked up to your girlfriend ans gave her a smile. "I love it, thank you, Angie..."

"No problemo, S/O! Anything for you!" Angie cheered with a grin. (Please, I feel like she'd definitely say that)

You looked at her for few minutes before standing up and grabbing her face softly, "Angie, do you know what day today is..?" You asked as if you expected her to answer that, "It's my birthday, right!" Angie said holding your hands that were touching her cheeks, "That's right.. Even though you don't celebrate your birthday, I wanted to be with you." You say, feeling yourself get embarrassed by what you just said but Angie didn't seem to mind it at all. "S/O, just you being here makes me happy! You're the best birthday gift for me." She was even more cheesy than you, but just like her, you didn't mind it. "You're so silly.." You said and started planting her face kisses and she giggled at every one of them. "Well, there's actually something I wanted to show you, Angie.. So if you allowed me, can I take you somewhere?" You asked your girlfriend who was very soft right now, "Sure, sure! Where do we go?" She asked and grabbed your hand impatiently and interlocked fingers.

It felt like she was more excited than you, you didn't know what kind of a reaction she'd have but you were sure she's gonna like it, since she loved everything you do.

I really wanted to write for Angie's bday yesterday but my motivation said no 😕

Anyway, I hope this can make up for it!!!!! Love Angie and Angie stans, they're so precious and they get kisses, love and respect from me 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

i have some snazzy little opinions, so let’s just go down the line: 

!!Really long post under cut!!

-Makoto is a basic bitch, always and forever, and we stan that -Taka looks like a Penguin and you cannot change my mind -Byakuya is just trying to look rich- -Mondo’s outfit is so extra i love it- he even added some probably temporary dye to his pompadour that was hard to see due to the lighting in the group pic -LEON! everyone was calling his fit ugly in the group pic and honestly i’m salty because he and i have the same sense of formal fashion. work it king! -Hifumi’s honestly suits him just fine, i was iffy when i saw it in the group pic but it doesn’t look too awful in full -Hiro..... buddy- i- i mean- what do i say??? it’s ugly as shit and really nice at the same time?? -Sayaka’s formal wear is a massive step up from the outfit she wears in her splash art- i never really liked that dress that much- even if it does have a cultural significance the design the picked felt cheap. But this one is really nice, and i dig it way more -Kirigiri looks pretty, it looked waaaay more purple in the group pic, but looking back the whole thing was over saturated for the lighting affects they did, so i shall forgive. she looks oddly nice in blue actually.  -AOI LOOKS LIKE A BETA FISH AND I’M LIVING FOR IT! GO QUEEN!! -Toko’s dress looks way better in full than i expected, because so much of it was covered up i kinda didn’t like it all that much in the group pic, but i’m really digging it now -QUEEN SAKURA! BEAUTIFUL!! A DAMN SUNSET OF A DRESS!!! i love seeing her indulge in being a gorgeous queen despite people’s remarks on her physique -Celeste! also beautiful, but girl are you a vampire?? the layers on that dress- and that’s a massive veil- she’s gotta be overheating in that thing.  -JUNKO! Fashionista know’s what’s up! it’s alot less gaudy than some of her casual outfits, but in a way that’s actually pretty good. i love the masquerade mask, it’s a nice touch -Chihiro....... Lucky Charms-

-Hajime’s outfit actually looks better in the group pic than here, i think it’s cause the yellow is more vibrant due to the saturation filter, so it stand out more -Nagito’s outfit is great honestly, i love how they put the shirt design on the sleeves, and i love the half-up hair, and the crooked bowtie- it’s great! -Twogami is a king, all he did was invert Byakua’s outfit and he just pulls it off so much better -Gundham’s is honestly underwhelming. This is Gundham Tanaka for fuck sake! Junko’s is more in character than this. where’s the drama sir???? -Kaz... buddy..... the colors look nice on your jumpsuit, but not an actual suit. I love the suspenders though -Teruteru’s outfit actually make him a bit cute. i’m about 80% sure the brown is suppose to be mud as to reference the fact that he’s characterized as a pig in more ways than one, but i’m choosing to call it a cola pattern ‘cause fuck you i’m going to be nice to him for once -Nekomaru’s suit is... it feels like a cursed amalgamation of a noir detective, a car sales men, a mobster, and a casino owner- and i just works so well on him -Fuyuhiko! i love it, fits him well, but the rolled up slacks are odd and kinda distracts me from the rest of the design- showing off some Bi pride there boss baby? -AKANE IS A DAMN QUEEN!! GOD PLEASE SHE COULD STRIKE ME DEAD IN THAT AND I’D THANK HER -Chiaki’s is simple, but it looks really nice on her -SONIA MY QUEEN! the oversaturation in the group pic did her dress dirty! i saw the blue originally and went “that isn’t her color”, but now seeing it without all the lighting crap she looks alot better.... and also a bit Elsa-ish -Hyoko’s in a lovely Kimono, but she’s always wearing pretty Kimonos, so it’s somewhat underwhelming compared to the rest -MAHIRU YOU SUMMER QUEEN! Mahiru has the best sense of fashion in the whole series imo, her wardrobe’s vibes make me so very happy. I grew up in a christian household (i’m not religious anymore btw) and use to be brought to services, and her dress gives me mad Easter Sunday Potluck nostalgia that i just can’t un-notice -Mikan looks too much like a hooker- i’m sorry, they really just went with the fan-service crap here and i don’t like it at all. Even if it wasn’t meant to be fan service, the dress looks tacky and has a shine on it that signifies it’s latex, so that’s just gotta be uncomfortable as hell- and for a clumsy character like her to try and survive a party in??? -IBUKI LOOKS LIKE FANCY RAVE COTTON CANDY!! THAT’S ALL!!! -Peko’s Kimono looks surprisingly nice on her, she wasn’t a character i’d assume to look good in a checker pattern but damn. i also appreciate how she still has the sword, bet- Fuyuhiko tired to convince her to leave it behind but failed

-Rantaro looks like a Used Car Salesmen. -KOKICHI MY BELOVED!!! i already voiced how much i adore his outfit when the group pic came out, so instead might i point out that he’s wearing high-water slacks and tall socks? it’s just as jarring as Fuyuhiko’s bi-slacks, but this is Kokichi so i feel like he did it on purpose. -Kiibo??? he dead ass changed his plating i-???? idk what i’m feeling towards it, but boy howdy am i feeling -GONTA!!! i love his suit, it’s out there in a good way, and i also love how he’s holding what looks like his casual coat. -Shuichi looks lovely in that suit, and i’ll never forgive everyone ever for saying he looked like a grandpa in it. It make him look a bit more Sherlock-esque and i love -3- -KORK IN A DRESS EVERYBODY MOVE!! i love how Androgynous his outfit is, both in gender and in time. like- is it feminine? masculine? modern? 1800′s england? who the fuck knows! -Ryoma looks good, but the fedora- who tf on the design staff decided to get cheeky?? eh- he’s vibing, doesn’t look too bad so long as you don’t hyperfixate on the pointy groin-stabber fedora -KAITO YOU SNAZZY GALAXY PATTERN SNORTING BASTARD! i swear he’s allergic to putting his right arm in it’s sleeve-. anywho, i love how even his dress jacket has a galaxy lining in it, i think it would have been funny if he was wearing galaxy dress shoes too but Maki would have chopped his dick off for that one -Kaede looks like her dress was inspired by one of those cinnamon peppermints- ya know the ones, they have the pink center and all that jazz? -Miu looks like she’s ready to hit up a casino in LA and honestly that’s such a good vibe! her skirt is a bit funky so it took me a hot sec to realize it was indeed a pencil skirt and not a fancy jumpsuit. -Tusmugi’s looks nice, i don’t have much else to say- kinda fitting considering her Plain Jane shtick -TENKO LOOKS LIKE SHE’S THIS CLOSE TO BREAKING OUT INTO A TAP DANCE AND I’M SO FUCKING HERE FOR IT!!! GO QUEEN!!!! -Kirumi is- well- i don’t go to Genshin Impact, but she looks like that one Genshin character, you know the one right? i think their name was a Starbucks drink size- they have a harp?? yeah -Maki’s dress is really pretty, it is a bit odd for her to wear that considering her character, but i can’t say she doesn’t rock it like the queen she is. -Himiko would be nicer without the transparent extra part- it make her looks like one of those half sphere popper things my friends terrorized me with in middle school. Other than that, you go you cute little magical girl you! -ANGIE OH MY FUCK!!! i love- i- dfj;adgad;jdgd!#2342nh;werkw??? i have no clue at this point what culture she’s suppose to be from, but that definitely looks like some traditional garb she’s got going on and holy crap is is pretty

Over all, i think the staff did a great job with this, i love a good lot of the outfits alot more than i though i would from the group pic. I do wish they would have added at least Komaru and Mukuro though- gimmy my queens yo!

kokichi had been acting rather weird lately, it seemed like he’d been avoiding you the whole week, today especially. only once were you able to catch his attention, and even then, it was cut short.

”hey, ‘kichi..” you spoke, using the nickname you gave him. he sat at the edge of his couch, tapping away at his phone, something he’d been doing a lot lately. he didn’t even demand you for hugs or cuddles.

”hm?” he hummed, raising his vibrant purple eyes to meet yours.

”did i-“ you began and he cocked his head to the side, something you’d coo at if it weren’t for your current situation. “did i do something wrong?” you asked him, eyebrows furrowing. the blank look on his face didn’t reassure you. blinking, kokichi gave you a huge grin and jumped onto your lap.

”of course not, babe!” you didn’t know whether or not he was lying. a notification from his phone distracted him for a moment and his eyes noticeably widened. “aw, looks like i gotta go, something happened back at d.i.c.e..” he frowned. now that was a lie. before he had been acting all weird, he had told you about his week off. an impish grin spread across his face once he stared at your facial features. “awww, so you figured out my lie, huh? too bad, i guess.” although he didn’t sound at all affected. “i was actually going to go and see kiibo!”

”but you hate k-“ he cut you off by pressing a quick and soft kiss to your cheek. before you could even utter a response, he jumped from your lap and out the front door. you frowned. something was definitely up.

of course, when you had first got with kokchi, you had your worries (mainly about his tenancy to lie) but once the two of you started dating, he had began to become more truthful and certainly not as rude as he had been before, of course he still had his moments. he was kokichi after all.

that day, he missed dinner. your nervousness didn't get any better.

but, as said previously, today he seemed even worse. when you woke up, he wasn't there, no text to tell you what he was usually doing (something he'd usually do if he decided to prank others, as he needed a get away driver). you really waned to give him the benefit of the doubt, you really did, but they still managed to worm their way into your head.

you sighed and picked up your phone, dialing kaede, your phone ringing a few times before she finally picked up.

"shh- she called- oh!" kaede exclaimed, as if she hadn't been scolding someone. "yes, y/n?"

"oh, uh.." you absent mindlessly called. what did you even call her for? to vent, possibly, but would she even know what to say?

"what's wrong?" she asked, and you heard the blonde's shift in tone immediately shift, her happy one turning into one of concern. "did something happen?" you swore you heard muffled voices in the back silence at her question.

"yeah.. i guess..?" you responded slowly. "i'm just nervous.." you sighed, and played with your hair, a nervous habit of yours. the silence on the other end of the phone prompted you to keep speaking. "recently- er- this whole week, actually, it seems like kokichi has been  avoiding me, constantly lying and leaving the house and i just-" you slumped in defeat. you felt petty for having to burden kaede with your relationship issues, but she was such a good friend to talk to.

"you just what?" kaede urged you on, sounding a lot calmer than before.

"i'm scared." you admitted finally, clutching your phone. "i love kokichi, and i know he lies-  but he's been dong it a lot less, and for him to all of a sudden lie about where he's going.." you shifted in your spot. "i feel like shit, for doubting him, and i really don't want too."

kaede hummed, and you immediately picked up how she sounded as if she had been smiling. huh? "well, i'm sure kokichi wouldn't do anything. anyways, you should go and get ready, kokichi probably doesn't want you in your pajamas." before you could ask what she meant, she had hung up, and the front door to you and kokichi's house opened, the grape panta loving male himself standing in the doorway.

he was quick to grab your hand and lead you outside and to his car (you almost snorted with how serious he had looked while on his booster seat to the car- he had to see the road somehow)!

"where are we going?" you asked as soon as he began driving and you looked out the window watching the scenery change.

"ughh, your so impatient." kokichi pouted. "you'll see once you get there!"

the rest of the ride was in silence.

finally, you two had reached your destination, it being kaede's house. you stared on in confusion. "why-" you began, but kokichi had already parked (surprisingly well, mind you) and was getting out of the car.

"well, are you just going to sit in there all day? we don't have time to waste!" kokichi whined, opening your door and dragging you by the sleeve much like a child would to their mother. you didn't protest and simply let yourself be dragged. with how distant he had been acting this week, the sudden attention he was giving you left you even more confused. even then, he never explained why the both of you had went to kaede's house.

when the two of you walked into the house, it was pitch black. your grip on kokichi faltered, yet he didn't seem affected, only continuing forward. suddenly, he stopped moving, causing you to bump into him. due to the lack of light, you couldn't see his face, yet you somehow knew he was grinning.

the lights turned on abruptly, a chorus of voices shouting at the top of their lungs.

"happy birthday!"

everyone you ever knew stood in front of you, adorning party hats and various wrapped gifts and it took you a few seconds to process what had happened.

"uhm.. is she okay?" shuichi was the first to break the silence as he messed with his party hat glancing away. 

"i think she's just shocked is all." rantaro chuckled. shocked was an understatement. you turned to kokichi, eyes silently begging him for an explanation and his grin only widened, his hands folded behind his head.

"what?" he asked innocently. "you really think i wouldn't do something for your birthday? don't tell me you forgot your own birthday.." he sulked, his teasing attitude quickly dampened before suddenly turning serious. "hey.. what you said to kaede, you weren't lying, right?" you glanced away, suddenly very aware of the stares that lingered on the both of you, luckily for you he had said it in a tone where only you could have heard it. "i didn't mean to make yo worry, and that's not a lie! i just wanted to plan you an amazing birthday party." kokichi confessed, furrowing his brows as his face turned a light shade of pink, obviously embarrassed.

you only gave a small chuckle. "no, i shouldn't have doubted you so much.. and thank you for this party kokichi." it was clear to see how much he had planned out for this party, from the decorations to the cake, he even invited kiibo and miu!

"well of course, i wouldn't give you anything less you know." he said pridefully, his serious attitude vanishing. you sighed, yet smiled. you were glad that your worries were just simply worries and not anything greater. 

you ruffled the leader's hair and pecked him on the cheek, slyly grinning at how quickly he had shut up from your public display of affection.

"come on! at least eat the cake before you two decide to fuck!" miu called out, huffing and you snorted at her vulgar words, your face turning as red as kokichi's.

"m-miu!" kiibo stammered. "you can't just say that!"

ignoring miu's comment all of you proceeded to celebrate your birthday, the party going on without any hitches.

Ever since you have started high school you were making more and more friends and had pretty high reputation thanks to that. But there was this one boy you couldn't get to meet even though you were in the same class. His name was Rantaro. He was gone traveling for a month and a half. You were unsure where to since nobody provided you with that info.

It was pretty wierd to see him back again and his desk wasn't now allways empty. So it was your time to get to know him.

You approached him calmly "Hi" you had a smile on your face and his voice seemed a bit tired as he said "Hey there... Y/N was it?" nodding you smiled "And you are Rantaro?"

He chuckled "That's me... Do you need anything?" crap you didn't think this through. But you had quick idea on what to say "I noticed that you were gone for a while and I was wondering if you needed any help with missed schoolwork. I can send you all the notes" you offered and he chuckled "That whould be nice" you took out a pen and piece of paper and wrote your contact info and gave him it.

He jokingly announced "Wow first day here and I alredy got someone's number"

"Wow I didn't expect you to be a flirt but well I guess I shouldn't have judged you" you joked back but he didn't seem to get the joke

"Oh it's nothing like that. I just thought I could keep the conversation going with the comment. Guess I didn't think it through and it came out as it did huh?" he rubbed the back of his neck nervously laughing "It was fun talking to you no wonder everyone likes you"

You raised your eyebrow at the statement "How do you know that?" crossing your arms you became curious since how he possibly could know it. He pointed at one of the students in the classroom her name was Kaede "Me and her went to the same middle school and she just gave me some info about the school and kept me updated on what's up" Rantaro looked back at you and you realized something "Whouldn't that mean that you already have the notes?" you weren't mad but you wanted to know why he'd agree to you giving him notes if he already had them "Well you see I don't have the most recent ones and since you asked if I needed it I said yes" he shrugged "I hope I can use this number not just for school related stuff" he said while waving the little piece of paper you gave him earlier. You smiled at him "I also hope we can become friends if that's what you are suggesting" he nods "That's exactly it you got me" he slightly raised his both hands in joking manner.

"By the way do you need to see around the school? I mean I don't know this place too well either but it's better than nothing"

"Nah I'm good. I'll probably figure it out myself. But if you just want to spend more time with me I'll pretend I haven't said that" he chuckled. He sure does laugh often. Not that you mind since it's quite pleasant sound and it also lightens the mood...

"Well we can spend time in some other ways. For example you can te-" you were cut off by a bell. Funny even though your conversation topic was school you forgot that you were actually in school.

"I guess we'll have to finish this conversation later" he went towards his seat.

=> After class

As soon as bell rang yet again he approached me "So what you wanted to say earlier?" you tried to remember what it was "Oh right! You could tell me something about your travels. If you'd like to of course!"

"It wasn't anything big really nothing much to talk about" he was a bit nervous that you wanted to get to know him better but hey that's what getting to know each other is right? "Okay I won't push you but if you have any good stories from your trip I'd be glad to listen" you announced.

"I'll keep that in mind" he smiled at you. And then there was a bit of silence between you two normally you'd keep the conversation going but you didn't knew what to say at this point.

So you just agreed to leave the conversation. The rest of the day you didn't talk much and now that you think about it you didn't see him during any breaks either.

Untill it was time to go home you had plans with few of your classmates after school so you were in a hurry (since you got held back by one of the teachers) and you didn't notice when your phone fell out of your pocket.

The one who noticed that was Rantaro so he picked it up and yelled "Y/N you dropped your phone!" you turned around and saw him with your phone. He catched up to you and gave you your belonging back "Thank you" you took it from him and checked if it had any damage. Luckily it didn't but since you were in a rush you couldn't stay with him longer... Until you got an idea "Hey Rantaro do you mind joining me and few of our classmates today? We are going to the cinema but think fast cuz otherwise I don't think we'd get there in time" he just nods and the two of you managed to meet up with the rest on time (Kaede, Miu, Kaito and Shuichi)

"Took you long enough" Miu crossed her arms and noticed Rantaro "Oh nevermind I know what held you back for so long" she laughed and before she got to say anything Kaede cut her off "You could call us you know" she pouted. You were a bit confused "When I was about to head out-" you were cut off by Kaito "It doesn't matter now. I mean we all will be late if we don't get going now right?" all of you agreed and managed to get to the cinema on time. After watching the movie you just talked for a while while walking aimlessly and then getting some food. It was clear that everyone had fun and you got a bit closer to Rantaro.

Some time after you got back home you remembered that you had to send him the notes. You were a bit tired but it was just a few pictures. Beforehand though you needed him to text you since you couldn't do it yourself because you didn't had his number. So after some time you got a text from him.

Unknown number: Hey there! It's me Rantaro

You saved his number before responding.

Y/N: Hey ^^ so what are your latest notes? I'll send you everything you are missing.

He texted you back saying what he had. It took him a while so he probably checked it.

Rantaro: Sorry for late response.

Y/N: Nah it's fine! I mean I don't expect you to remember everything :p

Rantaro: I guess you are right ;;

Rantaro: Btw thanks for the invitation today was really fun! I hope we can continue to meet like this more often.

Y/N: Don't mention it! I should thank you for handing me my phone. I'm pretty sure I'd notice it when I got home.

Rantaro: Well you're welcome then.

Y/N: How do you like our class so far?

Rantaro: You all are pretty cool. Can't judge much because I didn't get to know most of the class. But I feel like it's going to be gr8 in the end.

Y/N: I hope so!

Rantaro: Can I ask you a question tho?

Y/N: Sure!

Rantaro: How often do you go out?

Y/N: Whenever someone has an idea where we can meet. Like for example the movie was Shuichi's idea. But so far we didn't have much trips.

Rantaro: Understandable I mean the school year bearly started and you just met most of the people if not everyone.

Y/N: Yup!

Y/N: But I hope you will join us often it was even more fun with you!

Rantaro: You think so?

Rantaro: Well I guess I will tag along from time to time then.

Y/N: Oh shoot I almost forgot to send you the notes.

Y/N: Hold on a sec

Rantaro: I'm not going anywhere.

You took pictures of your notes and send them to Rantaro.

Rantaro: To be honest I almost forgot about them too.

Y/N: Then it's good that I remembered it.

Rantaro: Yeah.

Rantaro: But I should at least look through them now so I'll text you later.

Y/N: okay see you soon

You looked at the time it was 6 pm. You talked with some of your friends and as time passed Rantaro didn't text you again. It wasn't a huge deal he probably had something to do or just forgot to text you. You checked the time again and it was... 8pm already!? You really did kill some time earlier...

You did your thing for the rest of the evening and fell asleep. You didn't get any text from Rantaro.

=> Morning: In school

As soon as you got inside the building Rantaro approached you "I'm so sorry I didn't text you. I had to take care of my sisters and one of them took my phone"

"Ah so that's what happened? It's okay I don't really mind it" but you did lowkey hope that you could talk to him more back then but hey now you can talk in person and there is always tomorrow so there wasn't any problem to begin with.

"Thanks for understanding" he awkwardly smiled. Together you went towards class and had a small chat along the way. You could see that he was still a little bit guilty that he didn't talk to you yesterday but you decided to let it slide.

=> few months later (second term)

You really got close. The two of you were best friends but there was a problem. He felt something more for you and was unsure if he should confess. Sure you knew each other for a while now but it still wasn't long time. You noticed that lately he was acting a bit off. Almost like he avoided you but each time you asked him about it he just apologized and said that he's just overthinking stuff he wanted to deal with alone.

And if he thought it whould get you to stop worrying... He's wrong and couldn't be even more wrong.

He was talking much more recently with Kaito so you asked if he knew something. You know that Kaito whouldn't lie to you and if he did you'd probably be able to tell. His response was pretty obvious "What? Somethin' wrong with Rantaro? I didn't see him acting wierd lately" his voice was more calm than his face expression. That's when the thought hit you "So he probably acts like this only around me... Or you are lying and know exactly what's up" crossing your arms you looked at him as he tried to avoid eye contact "I don't know really geez I know you are worried but I think he's fine" after his response you sighed in defeat "What if he doesn't like me anymore?" you started working this might be it little you knew it was exact opposite.

"There is no way he hates you! I mean why whould he?" Kaito raised his voice catching attention of few people but they ignored it in the end.

"I don't know it either"

"Then maybe don't assume things. I think that Rantaro whould just tell you if you were bothering him wich you aren't"

"How can you be so sure?"

"How you can't be? I mean you two spend a lot of time together so you should believe that he'd be honest with you"

"I guess you are right... I still don't get why he ignores me"

"I tell you don't worry about it" he placed his hand on your shoulder. It made you feel a little bit better.

You just decided to go with it becouse you tried talking to him but he always refused to answer. But maybe you are just overreacting and nothing actually was happening?

While you were at your train of thought Kaito went to look for Rantaro luckily you weren't around when he said "Dude did you seriously ignore Y/N? That wasn't what I ment!"

"I know... But I just feel like I'm scared honestly" he sighed "guess I'm just a coward huh?"

Kaito looked away "You are but you can still change it. I mean you really got her worried" he paused "I whouldn't be surprised if she was now trying to figure out what she did to make you avoid her"

Rantaro thought for a bit how you must feel "Fuck it" he stood up "I'm going to tell her now if she doesn't like me I'll just have to deal with it"

"That's the spirit!" Kaito gave him a thumbs up "Tell me how it went later"

"I sure will" he chuckled.

Instead of looking for you he wrote you a text.

Rantaro: Please meet me at the courtyard.

He was there before you and was really nervous. Thinking of what could go wrong and what could go right. Rantaro was ready for rejection but he of course wished you felt the same.

You finally got there and his heart was beating faster with each step you took towards him.

"I'm sorry" you said tearing up wich caused him to be confused "For what?"

"I don't know! For what I did that made you hate me?"

"What...? Y/N you did nothing wrong" he said as he hugged you in order to calm you down you could feel his fast heartbeat "I did" you were quiet so he could finish "I wasn't honest with you... For a bit long time"

Before you could say anything he almost whispered "I love you" you heard it clear even though it sounded like he didn't wanted you to hear it.

You didn't knew what to say. This led him to believe that you didn't heard him. He was a bit glad but it meant that he probably had to repeat it but you said "I love you too".

Funny you thought it whould be harder to say those words...

"So... Does it make us a pair?" he asked.

"Only if you want to" you winked at him and he chuckled "Then I guess I'll call you my girlfriend now".

ndrv3 HPA AU (Class ‘79) notes~

I’ve only ever been posting snippets of the their silly school life (without following a chronological timeline of events) so here’s some context of how I characterized the ndrv3 kids (essentially the same personalities but with some tweaks) and maybe some info on the relationships in my comics. Implied and outright spoilers, apparently. The rest under the cut.

Kaede Akamatsu: The ‘protagonist spotlight’ mostly falls on her. Personality-wise, she’ll still be the ever cheerful, charming and kind Kaede (with a toned down self-righteousness) but with a dash of her pre-game personality which is being mistrustful and to an extent, condescending. 

Angie Yonaga: Angie is still Angie, but with added eccentricities. Since she her character design kind of implies she’s from an island in the West (okay, Hawaii) which is part of America, she’s going to be referencing memes and western culture.

Kirumi Tojo: Her maid shtick is a conscious effort for her. She has selfish whims and insecurities deep down that calm, collected and altruistic persona that she tries to project. (in-game Tojo was just too one dimensional, ugh)

Tenko Chabashira: She mostly maintains her enthusiastic, down to earth, protective (of the girls) nature but she won’t be too vocal about her aversion towards the MENaces (it was so overdone in the game to the point of being annoying) and with a short temper. Will probably have a sad or comical (still can’t decide which lol) backstory about why she dislikes DEGENERATE MALES.

Himiko Yumeno: Mostly the same with her in-game personality but isn’t dismissive of human interaction. Apart from her “I’m a mage, not a magician” gag, she’s suspected to be always on drugs by most. Secretly stays up late a lot to watch k-drama.

Maki Harukawa: Still anti-social and uptight but it won’t be because of her talent (which is outright revealed to be Ultimate Assassin)… she just hates talking to people her age (lol). Also, her backstory won’t be the same in-game coz that seemed intentionally sad in context, but it’s strangely out of place in a peaceful AU like this. She’s still from an orphanage and serves as an elder sister figure. She was physically conditioned and trained to be an assassin but it turns out it was just a complicated plot to make her a Motion Capture stunt girl for an Assassin’s Creed game. So yeah, she hasn’t really killed anyone in real life but she physically (and mentally??) can, if desired.

Tsumugi Shirogane: She won’t think she’s a plain jane nor will she make an effort to remain a ‘wallflower.’ She’s into a lot of fandoms, naturally. She also stans Junko Enoshima (who isn’t a Despair junkie btw) and makes vague references about “being in a reality show,” (wink, wink)

Miu Iruma: Same ol’ Miu, but will try to make an effort to be likeable. Also has standards, so no she is not going to do lewd things with Teru Teru-sempai.

Shuichi Saihara: Since no one has to die for his character development, it’s going to take awhile for him to remove his hat. At first, he’s still meek and unconfident but not codependent on Kaede. Also adding a dash of his pre-game personality, him being an avid fanboy of all things detective (stans Kyoko Kirigiri, has a sizable collection of Nancy Drew Books and Detective Conan manga etc). Struggles with depression at times.

Kokichi Ouma: Compulsive lying is dumbed down and has his limits with his intentional assholery. His genuinely caring personality will also peek through a lot and he won’t vehemently deny it that much.

Rantaro Amami: Carefree, easygoing and fabulously gay big brother figure of the class. Makes vlogs in the style of Bear Grylls’ Man VS Wild. He also references the Danganronpa franchise plots (except V3) in his stories of his adventures.

Kaito Momota: Still quite sexist but it’s more because of upbringing rather than intentional. He doesn’t just suddenly develop an incurable, deadly disease but he has Tuberculosis (hence, coughs a lot). And, he’s very competitive (his pre-game personality repackaged).

Ryoma Hoshi: Mostly detached and stoic but not depressive and unfeeling. I’m tweaking his backstory a bit coz an ex-con that has served prison time going back to high school is a bit weird (and I don’t want the “HPA pulling shady shenanigans” shtick). His family has been murdered and all he has left is the family cat (that he gets to keep in the dorms) and he’s been pursuing leads about the mafia responsible for it. He’s basically a Sasuke Uchiha here. Anyway, he’s wise but vindictive. Fortunately, he doesn’t want to serve justice with his own hands.

Korekiyo Shinguji: Doesn’t have a sister complex and definitely not a compulsive serial killer here. He’s already got an interesting, creepy persona. Miyadera is alive, but still sickly and would visit him often to bring him home-cooked meals. Unsurprisingly has a fascination for see-saws.

Gonta Gokuhara: still the best boy best boy best boy raised in the mountains He won’t be too gullible here and would even join in roasting Kokichi.

Keebo Idabashi: He’s the Ultimate Robotics Engineer since he’s not a robot. Spent most of his life sheltered (even from the internet) so he’s shy and quite socially inept. Always gets very defensive of his talent.

And now, for the platonic and romantic ships~ I actually multiship but in this AU I’m going to stick to one ship for a particular person since I’m personally not keen on polyamory. (please don’t burn me on a stake)

Kaede||Shuichi: Saimatsu BROTP; in fact, they refer to each other by first name. I didn’t want this to be an “OTP” here since Saimatsu was mostly set up and situational in-game because of Shuichi’s codependency and Kaede’s desire to break him out of his shell, though undeniably they do have a really good chemistry together. Really, I love Saimatsu just-- let them explore their options. (I’m also just bitter I couldn’t flirt more using Kaede after Chapter 1 ;w;)

Kaede|Kirumi: I’m not inconspicuous about it actually lol idk I just see a good chemistry between them. Also, think of the mom jokes since they’re both the class moms. And while my comics tend to jump back and forth chronologically, if I was going to write a fic– their relationship is a slow burn with lots of pining

Shuichi|Kokichi: Their love hotel scene oh my god Kokichi really has it bad and that little liar is a good match for Sai, he facilitated his growth in a (twisted) way but this is an AU so yeah. Beforehand, Kokichi has a slight interest in Rantaro.

Maki|Kaito: This is a canon-ish ship that had a weird development too, but again, they have a nice chemistry too. I wanna explore that normal, potential development between them (also, I’m not sayin they’re both necessarily straight coz this is a straight ship lol).

Himiko|Tenko: There’s just… a lot of potential cuteness in them, even though they were kind of dysfunctional in canon. The fact that they’re polar opposites when it comes to physical activities gives me enough cannon fodder for their tandem. And Himiko being involved with Tenko can really help her a lot (like when the latter’s death in-game impacted her so much).

Kaito||Kokichi: Sort of a Oumota reference lol Chapter 5 gave me an inkling of their dynamics together and it was nice to see that Kaito gave Kokichi a leap of faith despite all his atrocities. So, I think they’d be good friends in the AU, just laced with a lot of badmouthing and insulting each other.

Rantaro||Tsumugi: Mastermind and Survivor solidarity~ They’re good friends in middle school before entering HPA.

Miu||Keebo: They’re both socially inept techie nerds sitting at the back of the class so finding friendship with each other isn’t far from happening. I lowkey shipped them in the game but I haven’t decided in this AU yet~

That’s all for now I guess :D I can try to make an actual comic with plot about them someday… but I can’t promise, even to myself. huhu
