i've seen so many people complain about accidentally romancing gale, and it's been confusing to me! i have discovered that this is because, in my first campaign, my tav was just manipulating gale to keep a strong wizard around (and a nerd to bully) and largely responded in a manner just-above-mean.

this time around i made a joke about rubbing his belly during the tiefling party, then went and spent the night with karlach. big deal, whatever, it was 1 single flirtatious line and i have since ignored him. and i've been CLEARLY romancing karlach for the entirety of the playthrough, she was almost instantly max approval. but of COURSE, after having hot sex with my beautiful wife, GALE wants to talk. and he's like "ohh man are we breaking up? you have to choose between Me and Karlach" my brother in Bahamut i have not said more than "howdy" to you since the fucking party. i want to strangle this man with my bare hands.

ok um so i am writing a fic where shou is there at the onsen (its more of a shou and teru character study than anything i think, it focuses on the 2 of them and the potential their friendship holds) and i would like to share a silly snippet i wrote ok? for context shou realized he didn't have a heavier coat to wear to the onsen so he stopped at the thrift store on the way there..

“Oh, hello, Suzuki. I didn’t know you would be here,” Mob said, looking quizzically over at Ritsu, who just shrugged.

“Hey, Suzuki,” the other Kageyama greeted casually. Then he paused, giving Shou a once over. “What are you wearing,” he deadpanned.

“You like it?” Shou grinned. “I just picked it up this morning.”

“From where? The dumpster?” Ritsu retorted. If it were anyone else, he would try to feign politeness. He didn’t have to do that with Shou.

“I like it,” Mob said, with a genuine, small smile. Ritsu stared at him in shock.

“Nii-san…”

“Wait a minute,” Teru interrupted. “Did you get that at Soup Thrifts?”

Shou blinked at him in surprise.

“Yeah, I did. Why?”

Teru felt himself relax slightly, a smile finding a way onto his face.

“I donated that! Glad to see it went to good hands. I was so sad to part with it, but it just didn’t fit me anymore.”

Ritsu turned his shocked expression to Teru.

“You too?!”

“Oh, Little Brother, there is so much I could teach you about fashion,” Teru said with a wistful sigh.

Shou snort laughed, which made the rest of them break into laughter as well.

The slight tension that was in the air before had decreased as the group made their way to the inn.

The only instance have seen "egg jokes go too far" on public

Was one (1) time, when strangers were ignoring that someone already identified as nonbinary transfem, but didn't understand some terms in English (ESL) - so people treated her like she was a stupid egg (transmisogyny btw) n didn't stop when she asked. N a good chunk of people doing that weren't transfem.

99.9% time "egg jokes ruin everything" thing has been excuse for:

- saying trans women n society en masse pressure gnc men to be transfem (false) n reactionary "yall know its ok to be (cis) men right?"

- harrassing n slandering trans women, making op-ed pieces about trans women, as way resolve own personal discomfort to corny jokes of "used to do that back when was closeted teehee" - as if transmisogyny help anything.

- something something white trans women. *creates hostile environment for all trans women*

- making interpersonal issue that can easily resolved, into reason why transfems ruin things
