Soldier and showman William Frederick “Buffalo Bill” Cody, was born on February 26, 1846, in LeClaire, Iowa.  “Buffalo Bill” was one of the most famous figures of the Old West, gaining increased prominence and popularity for his Wild West shows. The portrait of Cody on this stamp was taken from a train dining car menu.

Had moments of original characters and plot, then it kinda slow, aimless almost, in the middle. Took awhile for the ending to develop. Good cast though. Zoey Deutch is a talent.

tdfcostumecollection: 🌟Famous Fridays🌟

Today, we're putting a spotlight on a recent donation we received from last season's Broadway revival of 'American Buffalo' by David Mamet! This costume was worn by Darren Criss in his portrayal as Bobby in the Tony-nominated production. While Darren is most well-known for his music and television performances, he displayed his excellent acting chops alongside legends Sam Rockwell and Laurence Fishburne. This ensemble was designed by two-time Tony Award nominee Dede Ayite, who is also being awarded the Kitty Leech Young Master Award at next week's TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards on Friday, October 7th. Take note of the subtle details and realistic distressing on the Henley, jeans and sneakers. It is her attention to detail, among many other creative qualities, that has earned Dede this award. We can't wait to see what else she comes up with in future productions!
