all of our party is greek myths, except for this one dude who I'm not really sure what's up with, he has flying carnivorous bunnies and it's cool though

my character is lexi/lex, who you probably saw on arfight cause I submitted her there and I assume that's how you know I play city of mist, but she's the rift of Atalanta, which is uh. hold on a sec I dunno how to summarize that myth

Atalanta is a huntress who got left out in the woods by her father (a king) as a baby because he wanted a boy. She was raised by bears, devoted herself to Artemis, and swore never to marry, etc. the more famous stories she's involved in are the argonauts & the hunt for the caledonian boar, but there's also a story where she gets into a footrace because of some whole mess with her father where she agreed to marry only if her prospective husband could beat her in a footrace (which she was super naturally good at). she beat all of them, until this one dude thought she was extremely pretty and went to Aphrodite, who was mad about the whole not marrying thing, and she gave him 3 irresistible golden apples that he used to distract Atalanta during the race, and by such beat her.

Because of this, one of Lexi's fatal flaws/whatever they're called for her run really fast ability is apples. All apples in general. She's super allergic to them or something, but she really very much cannot be around apples.

Her logos is that she's a fisherman and lives in main. literally everyone else in the party lives either in the city or in rapid city south dakota, except for her, she lives in maine. She also has a snake named Percy, he's a western hognose snake and he lives in her pocket and I love him.

The way atalanta's myth transferred into Lexi's life is that she was, for a couple years, raised by actual bears (they're called the lesbian bear moms). she also did varsity track, which goes with the whole running thing atalanta's got, and has an extremely crappy relationship with her parents but she has the bears so it's okay! (it's not really okay but she has bigger problems. so many bigger problems the trojan war has decided to restart itself)

She gets shot. so fucking much. like in pretty much every direct fight we've had she's gotten shot, I think, except maybe the last one which I'm still kinda shocked by (everyone else got shot, though)

Uhhhh as for the rest of the party: there's the rift of orion, her name is antigone and she's awesome (she was linked in the art fight thing for lexi so you might've seen her, she's played by @zinabug); the rift of hector, his name is cole; the aforementioned mysterious bunny man, his name is kitch; and the rift of odysseus, olly. he kidnaps people! they're all SUPER COOL

Hello and welcome to Day 21 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"

Sorry if this is later than usual 😅

Today, I have a more unusual crossover plot bunny for you all - a Cardfight! Vanguard and Katekyo Hitman Reborn crossover!

The main motivations for this (already 2 or so years old) idea are as follows:

I love any card game anime - Cardfight Vanguard, FutureCard Buddyfight, Yu-Gi-Oh!; you name it, I probably already watched and loved the whole thing. Vanguard is probably my second most favorite anime besides the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime from this genre of shows.

I want Tsuna to have an actual hobby and make friends that aren't forced upon him by someone else. Like seriously, let the kid be a fucking kid - all world saving shenanigans aside.

So, yeah. Making Tsuna play a game and enjoy it while also making friends is the main goal of this fic. Also, I still have yet to find a good title for this fic idea yet, so any suggestions are welcome.

As for the synopsis:

After Tsuna got his Sky Flames sealed, he went to a festival with his mother. Tsuna got lost and met a young man named Daichi. Daichi kept Tsuna company till they were found by Nana. During this time, Daichi, in an attempt to cheer Tsuna up, showed him a bunch of Vanguard cards he had on himself. Tsuna instantly loved them, especially one Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel. Once Nana found them, Daichi decides to give Tsuna the card he liked most out of the ones he showed him as a keepsake. (Daichi kinda feels like both Ezel and Tsuna need each other and if he ever learned something while playing Vanguard is that you listen to your gut in these situations)

Tsuna comes back home with Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel, and with a new determination to make a deck to fight Daichi with it in the future. And so, years passed, and even though Tsuna did gather enough cards to make the deck he wanted, because of the seal's interference with Tsuna's courage and self esteem, he never got the nerve to actually have a Vanguard Fight with someone.

One day, Tsuna gets another headache before going to school (which is a common occurrence nowadays due to the seal clashing with Tsuna's Hyper Intuition) and gets the impression he should bring his deck to school. Even though nothing happens at school, while on the way back home, Tsuna bumps into another boy his age, scattering the vanguard cards the boy had in his hand. Since he feels guilty, Tsuna helps the boy gather them up, and once done, he, seemingly in a hurry, runs off. Unfortunately, Tsuna sees one of the cards from the boy's deck on the ground and follows him to give it back.

Tsuna ends up catching with the boy - who introduces himself as Jun - at a card shop named "Card Citadel." Jun, wanting to thank Tsuna somehow for returning one of his cards, asks if he plays. Tsuna, thinking this might be the only time he gets to fight like this, says he has a deck but never really played against anyone. Jun offers to be his first opponent and teach him the rules of a true fight.

Both enjoy the fight a lot, and Jun, feeling like he found another person with potential in Tsuna, wants to be his friend. Although bewildered, Tsuna accepts, and they make plans to meet at Card Citadel again tomorrow.

Next, Tsuna meets Ayaka, Jun's classmate and friend, who is also a cardfighter. All three of them became extremely close friends in the few months they knew each other for. When the opportunity to enter a Vanguard Tournament appears, the three of them decide to take it - mostly because they wanna know how playing in a tournament feels like and because they want to have fun playing against stronger opponents. The name they come up with for their team is "Skyfall," which is a fairly ominous name, but also, it's too catchy to just gloss over.

As Team Skyfall, they make it to the finals of the regional tournament only to meet Team Orion and its leader, Shindou. While Ayaka and Jun fought with Shindou's teammates, Tsuna faced Shindou, which ended in Team Skyfall's defeat. Tsuna, for the first time, feels very angry at some of the comments made by Shindou during their fight and wants to prove him wrong. Jun and Ayaka are also frustrated over the loss (in Ayaka's case) and win (in Jun's case). Jun feels like he won because of luck and not skill, so he feels like he shouldn't accept the win. Ayaka lost her fight and felt like she needed to improve or else she would be left behind.

All three decide to review their decks and get better from then on. Fortunately, there is another regional selection for the tournament they just lost. Unfortunately, most of the teams participating are teams that placed second in their regional tournament. This is the only chance left to go to the nationals for all of them.

Fuelled by their determination to face Team Orion again and win this time around, Team Skyfall wins the chance to go for the nationals. From there, after facing more and more powerful opponents, Team Skyfall manages to meet Team Orion again in the national finals. This time around, Team Skyfall won, and, reluctantly, Shindou recognized their skills. Although there are more things to settle between the two teams, they are amiable with each other from then on.

After the nationals are over and some more time passes, Tsuna and his friends get invitations to a (fancy) meeting with other National Champion Teams in New York (the costs being covered by their host). Thankfully, this takes place over the summer so they can attend it.

At the meeting, they encounter many other fighters such as Alessio and his team, La Vipera (Italy's Champion team), and Kong and his team The Chi (China's Champion Team) among others. This meeting is merely a formal introduction for every Champion to each other and to their host, who introduces himself as "Akash."

Akash wants to make Vanguard an even more popular game, and to do so, he introduces the notion of an annual tournament between the Champion Teams of each country. Akash assures them that the idea is still not yet to be put in motion as he can tell most of the ones present are not convinced. Instead, he says that everyone should take this opportunity to know each other better and, if they are available, they can meet again next year around the same time for another meeting - of course, the travelling and hotel costs for the champion teams are covered by Akash himself.

Although Tsuna feels like there is something more to Akash than meets the eye, he and his friends still enjoy their one week stay in New York and make friends there that they continue to keep in touch with.

After coming back to Japan, the three met new faces around Card Citadel, the cardfight beginners Kira (who is Shindou's classmate apparently) and Rinne, a more ... hot-headed individual. While Kira is somewhat aware of how to play Vanguard, Rinne is a total newbie that Tsuna decides to teach the ins and outs of the game, the same way Jun taught him two years ago. (And yes, at this point, it has been closer to 2 years since Tsuna met Jun)

Despite his fiery attitude, Rinne gets the game rules down pretty fast and becomes more excited about fighting other people. He and Kira become a permanent addition to Tsuna, Jun, Ayaka, and Shindou's group and continue to meet at Card Citadel.

A new tournament is announced during the winter season of this year. This Vanguard Tournament features a tag fight setting instead of the usual 1v1 setting they experienced till now. And you cannot choose your tag partners. Instead, you will be placed at random with another participant from the same bracket you are in.

The six friends join in the tournament, meeting old friends, but also new ones too. However, there is one person Tsuna never thought he would ever see participating in such a tournament, and that is Hibari Kyoya, the so-called "Demon of Namimori, who terrified the entire school (both students and teachers alike) and pretty much controls Namimori Middle School with an iron fist.

Unsurprisingly (since this is Tsuna we are talking about), Tsuna's random tag team partner is the aforementioned Habari Kyoya. But surprisingly, both of them work together quite well... (if you ignore the fact that Kyoya barely spoke with Tsuna since the teams were made, that is).

As the tournament goes on, Tsuna feels like Kyoya doesn't trust him as a teammate all that much (given that Kyoya doesn't talk with him at all or even seem to acknowledge that they are fighting together). Meanwhile, Kyoya is trying to get a read on this version of Tsunayoshi Sawada that he had never seen before - more confident in his skills, more open to social interaction, more ... carnivore than the herbivore Kyoya pegged Tsuna to be. This Tsunayoshi is pretty much the opposite of the herbivore he always sees at school. And yet, Kyoya can help to notice that not every herbivore behavior was left behind when Tsunayoshi became a carnivore - which should make him an omnivore. The first omnivore Kyoya has ever seen to be more precise.

The Tag Team Tournament ends with Kyoya and Tsuna vs. Shindou and Jun (who seem more ready to fight each other than him and Kyoya, Tsuna can't help but notice.) By a stroke of luck and a bit of Shindou's stategic mind, Tsuna and Kyoya lose the match - but they aren't that upset about it. Tsuna likes that he managed to be a good tag team partner for Kyoya since Kyoya acknowledged him during their fight against Shindou and Jun. Kyoya, on the other hand, finds himself enjoying this new omnivore Tsunayoshi a lot more than the herbivore one. Kyoya decides that maybe Tsunayoshi's presence is something he is more agreeable to having around himself - as long as his loud friends aren't going to bother him, that is.

And so Kyoya, from time to time, shows up at Card Citadel as well. Mostly to fight Tsuna as 1v1, which most of the time Tsuna loses. But still he is having a lot of fun.

Now, in his 3rd year of middle school and already a Vanguard Champion and participating in more tournaments while also debating which high school he should choose, Tsuna gets another surprise. Well, two actually.

The first one is the self-proclaimed "World's Best Hitman" named Reborn, who says he is here to teach Tsuna how to be a Mafia Boss. (Which OK... knowing Alessio well means Tsuna is more or less aware of Mafia shenanigans since Alessio is part of a Mafia family)

The second one is that Akash has decided that the Annual World Tournament should begin this year - and Tsuna's Intuition tells him something bad might happen there.

Regardless, he first has to survive whatever Reborn has in store for him before facing the disaster he feels the newly announced tournament will become. And if the whole Flames thing that Reborn has been telling him about is actually connected to both Akash and the game that he loves to play and that gave him all these amazing friends, well Tsuna will protect his friends (both the old ones and the new ones) from danger with all he has.

Some details:

In terms of clans for every character I have the following: Tsuna has Gold Paladins (because Ezel); Jun has Granblue (I just like the image of Tsuna's first opponent ever as a Pirate); Ayaka has Oracle Think Tank; Shindou has Shadow Paladin (befitting of the 1st major enemy Tsuna has to face); Kira has Nova Grappler; Rinne has Kagero; Hibari Kyoya has either Dark Irregulars or Narukami (still haven't decided but I am leaning towards Dark Irregulars); Alessio also uses Dark Irregulars, while Kong uses Nova Grappler.

In terms of Ace Vanguards/Units, I have the following list for them with photos (also, all of these are grade 3):

Tsuna - Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel

Jun - Young Pirate Noble, Pinot Noir

Ayaka - Supreme Heavenly Battle Diety, Susanoo

Kira - Galaxy Blaukluger

Rinne - Amber Dragon, Eclipse

Shindou - Knight of Severity, Dubdrenn

Alessio - Scharhrot Vampir

Kong - Beast Diety, Azure Dragon

This idea really just came to me because I wanted Tsuna to have a freaking hobby that he enjoys doing. And because I wanted him to make friends without Reborn's interference. Like seriously, let the kid be a kid and have a game to enjoy.

I can only imagine the amount of confusion Reborn has when Tsuna explains what Vanguard is. Same when Tsuna appears to be on good terms with Hibari Kyoya of all people.

I WANT Tsuna to go to Italy for some tournament or because Alessio wanted him to visit. Why? Because it will be hilarious to explain to Reborn that yes, Tsuna was in Milano before. And yes, Tsuna knows how to speak Italian (at least conversation level). And let that paint for Reborn just how incompetent of a father Iemitsu is, since he (and by extend the CEDEF) is unaware of Tsuna ever being in Italy at any point in time. Like, how do you not know that your own child is in Italy? And, even worse, that your child is some Champion Representative for Japan for a (fairly popular) card game?

Because no Cardfight! Vanguard fic idea is complete (in my mind) without some PSYqualia bullshit, there will be PSYqualia bullshit. Who gets it and how, we will see.

I feel like by the end of this whole thing, Akash is either going to be your most beloved son (like he is to me) or your most, "I hate him because of his actions" character. Like, there is no in-between for Akash. (Even I oscillate between the two categories sometimes)

Both Alessio and Kong are part of the Mafia world. But again, they are children. So let children enjoy their damn game, mafia people.

You wonder how Kyoya got into the game? Blame Tsuna for that one. Kyoya got curious since whenever Tsuna would meet with Jun and Ayaka at Card Citadel, he would look excited and happier than before. Kyoya picked up on that change and followed him to Card Citadel. He got into the game without even meaning to do so. (Kusakabe is glad that Kyoya has some type of hobby besides just hitting people)

The whole thing between Kyoya and Tsuna mostly happens because I refuse to believe Kyoya wouldn't pick up on changes within his territory. Especially when said change happens to Sawada Tsunayoshi (who is a sealed sky, which is why Kyoya feels that Tsuna's strange as all hell. Unfortunately, he just chucked that to herbivore behavior without looking too much into it.)

Tsuna's seal here is mainly keeping his Sky Flames back, but it also interferes with his Hyper Intuition. This causes Tsuna to have a lot of migraines. So much so that he has pills prescribed by the doctor for them.

Speaking of the seal, it also is far too powerful for some measly bullet to break, so no magical "Reborn/Shamal does shit" that can get rid of the seal. Only Tsuna, through some unknown to him (but known to me) means, can remove the seal. After all, I feel that Nono would have put a strong seal on the CHILD that was a DANGER to his sons' sucession who were located in ITALY. (I can't get over the whole Nono thing, really. And I don't fucking buy that he wanted Tsuna "to have a civilian life" just like Iemitsu wished. Nono took the opportunity to get rid of another obstacle to his sons' succession as the next Vongola Boss. Simple as that. Too bad the Universe said "fuck you Nono" and killed his children)

Holy hell, this was loooong. Hopefully, my ramblings entertained you all. Also, a bit of a heads up, you may see more Cardfight! Vanguard (or card game anime) ideas from me in the future - it mainly depends on how hyperfixated my brain can get on that idea. Also, yeah, I hyperfixated on this idea for the last 2 years. This is why it's more articulated than the others.

Lian Ross and space disco

Music drawing based on videoclip Lian Ross – Live Forever. Modern version of retro music from 80s. But modern. Cyber space. Lian Ross sings excellent music about 80s, but today. It is everything just excellent!

And this is my drawing based on. It is made with using colors MS DOS EGA with 64 colors. Today, Lian Ross has a music space concert. Disco in space. At the field already, all the little animals are here. They are good and kind. Little hedgehog, goose, mole, bunny, ant, duckling, chicken. And different other little animals. Hedgehog is sitting at the stump and eats apple. At the field it is good summer day. All little animals are sitting at the line at the hill. And look ahead. This moment, at the screen it will be start of broadcast music concert. One more chicken drawing a postcard for Lian Ross, he will send it via space mail.

Goose, and duck, frogs are siting in the lake. Near the shore. And they also are watching a water space ahead. Soon it will start a video for them. Frog is jumping out of lake, at the shore, and sit in a grass. Frog is green. And positive. Frog eats orange and waits for a video. In a lake now lots of water animals.

In space at the asteroid it is already fly all Lian Ross space friends. One eyed, two eyed and lots of eyed. They fly with one seat UFO sausages. They are looks like creatures from game MS DOS Commander Keen.  I will draw them one day, later. My variation. At the asteroid, there is lots of sand and there is small space station. Aliens are going there for this meet. They are also good and kind. Some of them are sitting and drinks their favorite drink – purple, light green color. For them it is very delicious.

So, it is all done, 3,2,1, space broadcast begins. It is starts of space song. 80s. Disco. Good mood. Amongst the stars, it is to appear a look. Image of Lian Ross. And such effect as speed of light. Effect of big deep space dive. Just like when it is warp engine. So, this way – image, that see one eyed and all the other aliens at the asteroid. And concert is going. Music. One eyed run to the transmitter. And calibrate using basic program. To have a better transmission. Sound appears. And song is going on.

All these aliens animals are get together at their place. Their favorite place is – purple field. From a beautiful purple colors. One eyed checked how is it good for them to see. How they are going, by space internet and calibrate transmission for them too. They all are jumping and having fun. They are in a distant galaxy.

Some fluffy alien little animal is tumbling under the music and jumping in the air. Alien caterpillar with ten eyes and wings with bright purple color is rising about two meters high and moves under the music.

Space ant was doing a explore in a more distant space sector and also get tuning on this transmission. And say hello to his space friends – one eyed. As they call him master of Orion. Because, they played in MS DOS by network in game Master of Orion. And ant wins this space competition. He is - example of alien specie – space ant. Sometimes he is nothing against to listen music from another worlds. While his automatic robot collecting examples, he is listening to the music and watching video

Sirius Orion Black was your everything. It didn’t matter to you that he was part of some mafia gang, he always treated you like a queen and gave you the world. He said it was what you deserved. Though you didn’t always believe him. 

You loved the moments you spent alone with. The lazy days where you just laid with your head on his lap, the breeze playing against your skin as you sat in his private back yard. Or the days where he took you on dates, or went for long walks. 

What you loved must were the days where you just stayed with him in bed most of the day and just cuddled. He gave the best cuddles. 

It was unfortunate that these days happened so rarely. You were often stuck at home with your toxic family. 

A day like today, was one of the days you wished you were with Sirius. You were in your room, you hadn’t eaten in three days after their last slew of insults. Your families favourite pass time was making fun of you. 

You heard all that time that you needed to lose weight because of how fat you were, and that you were ugly because of all the weight. They said you took up too much space. 

You were also used to being called a waste of space, useless, a cow, among other hurtful things. 

Though you were used to all the insults, it still hurt and often caused you to stop eating. It would take Sirius a long time to get you to eat something and the on-slot of insults would come and the cycle would repeat again. It was wearing you thin, and you didn’t know how much more you could take before you did something stupid to yourself.

You really did wish they would stop and just love you instead, but that was a no go. The day your family stopped insulting you was the day the pope would come to your house for dinner, and not the living pope, the dead ones.

There was a tap on your window. You turned around and saw that lovely face of Sirius looking at you through the glass. You slid your window open and allowed him to crawl in. 

He sat on your bed, the look of concern you knew too well on his face.

“How long has it been this time?” You tried acting like you had no idea what he was talking about. “(Y/N), I’m being serious.”

“Three days,” you let your head drop not meeting his eyes. You couldn’t. You knew he would be disappointed and you hated that look on his face. “I don’t know how much longer I can do this Sirius. I can’t handle much more from them Sirius.”

You began to sob, pressing your hands against your eyes. He pulled your hands away from your face and pulled you into a hug. You wrapped your hands tightly around him and sobbed harder into his shoulder. “I can’t do it.”

“(Y/N), the offer still stands, move in with me and you won’t ever have to worry about them again,” he said and you protested. 

“I don’t want to be a burden to you,” you whispered. You remembered all your families insults included you being a burden to them and to Sirius. “What about them? Do you know what they would do if I left and they lost their favourite punching bag?”

“Don’t you worry about them, I’ll take care of them,” he said. “Pack your bags and come with me. Please.” 

It wasn’t often that you heard that pleading in his voice. You nodded and got your things together. Within the next hour, you got everything you held precious in your heart, your clothes and other amenities and were in his room lying on his bed. 

He was laying next to you playing with your (h/c) hair with gentle fingers. He always knew how to make you fall asleep, and soon your eyes drifted shut. 

Sirius POV

It made him so angry seeing you lying on his bed looking so broken, knowing it was your family that did this to you. He was going to take care of them once and for all. No more would they be able to hurt you. No more would you hear the insults they threw at you. 

He had enough of picking up your broken pieces and putting you back together when you could just be whole and happy all the time. 

He went to their house. He knocked on the door, but not waiting for an answer, he knocked the door over striding into the house. 

“The fuck are you doing!” Your father shouted, producing a gun. 

Sirius growled, his vicious side coming out. Few people knew his ability of becoming a giant dog. He and the mafia he was part of were the only people he knew of that could change their forms. (Y/N) had the ability too, but he refused to allow her to join until she could be his and only his.

Because so few people knew of this ability, he intended to use that side today, to tear them limb from limb and make them unrecognizable. 

“Sirius what are you doing here?” Your mother said coming into the room, she always had a thing for flirting with Sirius when your father wasn’t in the room, he thought it was disgusting. It always made his skin crawl. 

“Fucker just comes barging in here!” your father says waving the gun around. Sirius wasn’t scared. He was angry, when he felt intensely angry, no other emotion could permeate. “He’s probably here to get that fat bitch and bring her to his house to fill up like the disgusting cow she is.”

Your mother laughed at that and the switch flipped in Sirius’s head. That was all he needed. He snarled, sinking to all fours and becoming the great black dog everyone associated with death. 

He lounged for your father first. His claws sank into his chest and the man began to scream as he was forced onto his back on the floor. As a dog, you were his mate, and nobody hurt his mate without paying for it. And once he mated, he was mated for life. He would love you and love you forever. 

His jaws opened and he snapped at the mans arm shaking him like a toy before his arm tore away. He screamed more and Sirius moved on to clawing and ripping away at the rest of his body until he stopped moving. Blood covered the living room. He was satisfied with his work. 

The woman laughed again hysterically, “you did that all for me didn’t you handsome. Now we can be together without any interruptions. Dump (Y/N) and be with me instead.”

Sirius turned to her and walked closer. He snapped at her quickly, making quick work of her. Once she too was dead he made his way back to your father and lifted his leg, urinating on his remains and left the house. If you would have had any siblings, he would have either saved them, or killed them as well, but you were the only child, which made his job easy. 

He didn’t become human again until he was in his house. He made his way to his room where you were still sleeping. He prayed he wouldn’t wake you up before he could get into the bathroom. He looked at you for a moment, all the love he felt for you bubbling up in his chest.

Quickly, he turned away and began gathering his things for a shower. He didn’t want you seeing him covered in blood. 

Your POV

You woke up with a yawn and noticed Sirius with his back to you. He was covered in blood, and all sleepiness was removed from you. 

“Sirius, is that your blood?” He frozen and turned around. 

“No,” was all he said. 

“Who’s is it then?”

“Promise you won’t be mad at me?” That question made you worry for a moment. 

“I promise, just tell me who’s blood it is.”

“Your parents. I told you I’d take care of them and I did,” he said it quickly, pleading with you with his eyes not to be mad at him. 

You never would have thought Sirius would do such a thing for you. It made your heart swell with love, how could you be angry with this man for setting you free. You smiled. 

“I’m not mad at you. Thank you,” you whispered, standing up and walking over to him. You hugged him tight, not caring if you got blood all over you. You needed Sirius to see how grateful you were. 

“Now that they were taken care of, we can move on with our life,” he said eagerly. “We’ll build our own family, with little pups of our own. I’ll start right now.”

He picked you up, carrying you into the bathroom. You giggled, you loved this man so much.

something i usually do (almost as a stim) is twirling my ears i'm talking about my s/i's bunny ears and is something orion loves to see i don't know why... it's funny because sometimes it's me playing with one of my ears then there's him with the other

orion always sits like this and it's something i really like because it's just an excuse for me to simply get under one of his arms and snuggle closer to him😭

8 - Who gets jealous easier?

Back to playing Neko Can Dream! Last time we completed the first dream, Fish Dream! Going back to the bird bartender, they told us that there's only two more humans in the city... that's where we gotta get our dreams from! The bird also told us that there's a human living beside a convenience store, so @theglowingskeleton and I decided to go there.

You can actually go inside the convenience store, which is being run by a bunny! There's some really funny dialogue with them. Telling them you want to buy something has them tell you that you have to bring something to the counter first. Telling them you want to sell something really confuses them... as the bunny reminds you, this is only a convenience store. Video game logic clearly doesn't apply here!

Anyway, beside the store is an apartment where the next dreamer is. Going into their dream brings us to... Moon Dream! We're on some sort of spacecraft, heading to Orion. The music here is really catchy! Things seem well at first! All sorts of interesting characters are on board. After finding a link cable for a goat named Yagiman, we went to sleep... but after walking up, we discovered... there was a murder on the ship! That's right, the Moon Dream is a murder mystery! The victim... was definitely unexpected!

The passengers are understandably panicked, but Yagiman keeps a cool head... and she assumes that we're actually an ace detective. She tells all the passengers that, too. Looks like it's gonna be us to solve this murder! That's where we're leaving off for now. Until next time!

Wait... So I was diving into some of your older Julian posts and... Orion playing with the animals on the farm?? Would you be willing to elaborate on the cuteness of this? I can just imagine this adorable Good Boy Dog booping rabbits on the nose. How cute!!

If not, I'd just love to hear some fun facts about Julian that you haven't had the chance to share!

Oh yeah! Orion was still a small ball of cuteness when Marnie offer Julian to take the puppy, and in each he saw a potential best friend. Wild bird? Friend! Fish swimming in a small pond? Friends! Squirrels jumping from branch to branch? So many new friends!

Julian had to put in a lot of effort and time to raise Orion, as he was worried that the puppy, who sees a playmate in everyone he meets, will not understand about dangerous animals (after all, the forest is not far away). It was even more difficult when the young Farmer finally got coops and barns for various animals, then the puppy ran headlong to play with chickens and goats. Even the same friendly cow could accidentally kick Orion and cripple him. Therefore, Julian took up the education of Orion in all seriousness.

Fortunately for him, the puppy turned out to be very obedient and smart, and under the guidance of his owner he was able to quickly learn the basic commands. A little matured, the young dog became an excellent shepherd and guard. And it doesn’t matter that Orion is a mongrel, he has such excellent inclinations that any thoroughbred dog will envy. And yet, every time Julian no longer gives commands, and says to Orion "at ease" (a command meaning that you can rest), then Orion rushes headlong again into the same coop and barn, to his four-legged friends who also love him and play with him. Jumping with baby goats, booping bunny's noses, and sleeping with chickens and ducks.

Julian sometimes doesn't understand why he built a warm and spacious dog house for Orion, if he still finds his dog sleeping in a barn with cows. But still, sometimes he indulges Orion and allows him all this. Because Orion is a good boy 🐶

Penetrating the Double Zero: Part 2

(Back again with Part 2 of this fic! As before, characters and universe belong to @constellor, and TW: Suggestive!)

    It was a few days later when they gathered again, in a nondescript hanger on a space station that was just about half an orbit away from their target. Orion was in his ship, making some last minute efforts to stow away anything that was more than just a bit illegal. He was debating whether or not to hide the picture of Karo from behind with “Fuck the Police” written on it when Poro, his endlessly put upon companion in piracy, joined him with a concerned look. 

    “Are you quite sure about this?” The avian adjusted his glasses with a frown. “If this goes badly, not only will you possibly lose your life, but you’ll definitely lose the bust!” Said bust, shaped from a massive single cat’s eye opal, was sitting in a hard case packed with foam on the table nearby. “That thing is worth enough to keep the ship fueled for months!”

    “Aww, I didn’t know you cared Poro! And besides, it doesn’t matter how much any of the pieces from that heist are worth if selling them gets a knife between our ribs.” The pirate decided to put away the poster before turning back to the bespectacled bird. “Besides, this is the first time I’ve ever heard you worry about my health. Are you feeling ok?”

    Poro fluffed up indignantly, adjusting his glasses with disdain. “Hardly. But if you die out there, I’m stuck here, with them.” He motioned to a screen showing the Rangers approaching. “And thanks to you and your…proclivities, I’m technically an accomplice to more crimes than I will dignify by counting up. I may be a bird, but I am not a Jailbird.”

    “Well that’s more like it! And relax, you know I always manage to make it through somehow.” Orion gave the bird a rakish smile as he sat down in his favorite chair, leaning back as the Rangers entered the ship. “Welcome to my Grand Aria!” He spread his hands wide, indicating the whole of the ship.

    The three bunnies looked around briefly, and responded much as expected; Erias’ eyes lingered on the structural components, seemingly finding them satisfactory enough that they weren’t likely to kill his team before they arrived at their destination, while Alistar seemed excited to be on board a real life space pirate’s ship. Karo was dismissive, having been on board due to various circumstances once or twice before. Erias didn’t waste time, placing two cases on the table and opening one to reveal another holoprojector. 

    “Alright, do you have the package?” he asked, looking to Orion, who pointed to the other case in the room. “Excellent, and you’ve got a suitable cover story for it?”

    Orion nodded, seemingly unworried. “Don’t worry about it, if there’s one thing I’m good at it’s playing a part. What about our bunny boy over here?” He nodded towards Karo. “If you haven’t noticed, he tends to stand out in a crowd.” The ranger didn’t know if this was a compliment or not, but he decided to take it as one.

    Erias activated the holoprojector, and an image of another moonbunny appeared in the air. “That’s why he’s going to have a disguise. This is Kevo Blackwater, a small-time thief, con man, and smuggler with a rap sheet as long as I am tall. Enough for a reputation, but not enough to be instantly recognizable, which is good for us.” The bun on the screen was about the same size as Karo, but had red and black hair as opposed to Karo’s shining white.

    “How do we know that he won’t just show up and ruin the plan?” Poro asked from his perch on a side table. “They’ll be suspicious if there’s two of the same guy on board.”

    “Well that’s where I came in!” Alistar smiled smugly. “Turns out, I know his cousin’s hairdresser, and she says that he’s gonna be halfway across the sector for the next month taking care of his grandmother. He won’t be in any position to interfere.”

    “Exactly. Karo will take on Kevo’s identity until the mission is over, and they’ll never even know the difference. Karo, you looked over the background info, right?”

    He nodded impatiently. “What do you take me for, a rookie? Of course I read over it. Problems with authority and public decency laws, but loves his Gam Gam. Can we hurry this up? We don’t want to be late.”

    Erias let out another sigh, handing the other case off to Karo. “Here. A small container of nano-dye that’ll keep your hair colored until you use the deactivating agent, and your clothing for the trip.” Karo took the case and beelined down a hall towards the bathroom.

    Alistar raised an eyebrow. “How did he know where that is…?”

    A panicked cough filled the room as Orion gave himself a fit for a couple seconds, before recovering. “I don’t know, maybe he’s been on the same class of ship before? Anyways, how do we signal you that the deal is going down?”

    “Here, you’ll use this. It’s a single use, burst transmitter, and you activate it by twisting and pushing in the center ring. Once you activate it, you’ll have about 5 minutes to get clear and another 10 before we’ll be there to retrieve and extract you. This is a one time use device, and they’ll know when it goes off.” He handed an amulet to Orion, who toyed with it a bit before fastening it around his neck.

    “5 minutes should be plenty of time to get away once it’s set.” He looked at his reflection in a mirror nearby, giving himself a smirk. “I’d be fine with three….” He fell silent as he turned around and saw Karo in his new look.

    The newly applied red streaks stood out against the black dyed hair and ears Karo now sported, and matched the similarly colored sheer bodysuit that he was now wearing. The tight leather pants he wore weren’t too out of character, but the studded and patched leather jacket and combat boots definitely were, though they did fit him perfectly. Neither Orion or Erias could say anything, though Orion did give a thumbs up. It was silent for a second, until Alistar broke it up.

    “You look like you serve drinks at a biker bar.” 

    Karo scoffed. “Like you would know. Anyways, are we ready to go?” 

    Orion nodded, closing the case with the bust. “I think so. Got the bust, got the transmitter, I think that’s it!”

    Erias sighed, having second thoughts about this scheme already. “Alright, good luck.” He offered a hand to Orion, then Karo, before grabbing the projector and Alistar and heading towards the exit. 

    Poro followed, looking even more stressed than the Commander. “I sure hope they know what they’re doing,” he said as they watched the ramp retract into the ship and the vehicle power on. 

    “You and me both.” Erias sighed, pulling out and swallowing an antacid.

They major in GENDER STUDIES and you can find them CAUSING PROBLEMS ON PURPOSE WORKING AT THE STUDENT CENTER on most days. do you ever meet those types of people who just, like, really like to cause problems?

scratch that. you know nathan fielder, eric andre, jeff goldblum, and the like? he’s like if all of them had a baby -- no, wait, that’s not what i mean. actually, whatever.

he didn’t go to college on the normal path because of course he didn’t - why would he do what everyone else was doing?

he spent a few years travelling, worked some odd jobs, met some odd people, and realized he was the oddest.

one day she sat down in her apartment - well, not her apartment, technically, a friend of a friend of a friend of an enemy of a cousin’s - and watched animal house for the first time and thought, “yeah, i could do that”

they enrolled in classes that same week

they chose gender studies because they thought it would be the funniest to do (also, they really like gender theories, but hush, she would never admit she takes anything seriously)

even i don’t know if she acts based off good or evil intentions, maybe just for the laughs
