Any thoughts on jimin and taeyang Collab?

I never got to reply to any of these, and time kept passing and then the collab was announced and then I was like, ok I'll get to it when the song's out.

*These aren't my opinions on the song, just about collabs in general.

I don't think collabs always work well, like if you think about your favorite song ever, and if you ask everyone in your life what's their favorite song ever, it's never a collab. BTS have had great collabs in the past (in my opinion), such as Mic Drop with Steve Aoki and BWL with Halsey. A less "relevant" one but that I liked too was Who.

The thing is, that for me collabs are well executed when you get both people bringing something different to it, but still working well together. I love who, but I don't really think Jimin and JK brought anything to it, like it feels it would've been the same song even if it was just Lauv singing. Same with left and right and with you; it would've been exactly the same song if it was JK or CP singing alone, and with you would've been the same if it was only Jimin or SW alone.

Apart from that, my most predominant thought is that Jimin painfully needs to branch out away from the fandom. I don't have the tools to say what will it take for him to do that, but a good collab seems like an alright option! I don't really care if he works with other people at least for the time being, or every once in a while. I actually think it could be good for him and it could at least introduce him to a new audience. It doesn't mean that everyone will suddenly become a Jimin fan, but maybe 10/50 people that listen to it will remember him and check him out the next time he releases a song. I think it could be great exposure.

Jungkook had tremendous exposure with left and right and dreamers, for example. Crush gained exposure when he worked with Hoseok, as well. I totally support that; I'm 100% certain that Taeyang and his label were also thinking about exposure when they decided to work with Jimin and it's not really something to resent. It's work. People saying things like "he's using Jimin for clout" are sooo dumb to me; as well as people thinking Taeyang is this supreme being who gains absolutely nothing by working with Jimin because Taeyang apparently already has it all. No. Both parts always get something when they work together. Coldplay and BTS did my universe and BTS reached an audience very different from theirs. In my country, Coldplay fans are high class families, men and women in their 60s, 70s go to watch their shows with their 3 kids. Stepping outside of the BTS world too, I think of songs like WAP, cardib was an already stablished rapper and she worked with Megan, nobody living in the real world was going "Megan is using cardi for clout". As a result, maybe some cardi fan who didn't know Megan got to know about her because of that collab. Also you mentioned stuck with you, wich was my favorite song for the entirety of 2020.

I wouldn't mind a Justin Bieber song either! There's a huuuuge advantage of doing an English song. It's also more exposure but to a different audience. I know Jimin is extremely proud of being Korean and being an idol, and I'm not surprised that his first collabs, as other people mentioned, were with his friend (with you) and with a person he admired (vibe) and were songs in Korean. He used to say that before working with other people, he wanted to work with each of the members. Maybe that's not possible, but the sentiment was there.

The collab with Taeyang anyways is still about Jimin being introduced to a different public, maybe older people who liked BigBang and thought BTS were too "naive", or something. Taking into account how much Koreans value respect and age hierarchy is a big thing there, I also feel like it's a symbolic pat on the back from Taeyang to Jimin, for his senior to be eager to work with Jimin and have so much praise for him after getting to know Jimin. Just thinking about possibilities, that's some of the reasons I see of why this collab actually could benefit Jimin in terms of broadening his target audience.

As a boyband OG (well, 2nd gen?) I can easily see which boyband members 4*Town boys represent.

Robaire took a moment because he sings better than anyone in B2K (because Jordan Fisher), but yeah, he's definitely J-Boog inspired with the way he's drawn.

Everyone is saying Tae Young is Jimin, but the creator Domee Shi says she took inspiration from BIGBANG and 2PM. So he's a mix of G-Dragon and Nichkhun

Jesse is likely a straight up Jesse McCartney reference but also references older members of boybands like Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone, who were starting families and stuff during the height of their popularity

Aaron T. & Aaron Z. reference stuff like Mel B. and Mel C. from the Spice Girls, and Seungri and Top from BIGBANG (both named Seunghyun).

Aaron T. specifically references bb members like J Park, Taeyang, and AJ McClean. Kinda the cute bad boy image.

Aaron Z. is the cute sporty boy, which Taeyang also fits, but also boybanders like Lil Fizz and Justin Timberlake.

I only used boybands that existed in the 00s (and the Spice Girls), and doing that, you can totally see the references Domee Shi was going for. 4*Town is truly a love letter to boybands 🥰

They are young parents; Jimin with twenty-five years old and Jungkook with twenty-three. It was hard, but they were happy anyway and excited about it.

They had two little boys. The older, Chan, and the young one, Taeyang (no, Jimin didn't chose that name because of the singer, of course). They have a gap of two years! Like Jungkook and Jimin, with their own siblings!

That was because Jimin didn't want for them to have a lot of age gap. This way they can play together and grow up together, and the bond between siblings would be stronger.

Jungkook was really excited about meeting Chan for the first time. He wants so bad for the baby to be old enough to go and play soccer together, teach him baseball, swimming, running and play with him without getting the fear of hurting him.

Chan looks a lot like a little Jeon Jungkook; he has Jimin's small (and cute) eyes, but the lips, nose and form of the face are from Jungkook. He is a little alph. He is the kind of pup that always want to eat and play. When he learns how to walk Jimin has to be really careful of what little Chan is doing, because he goes everywhere in the apartment. Chan just wants to touch everything!

Chan is closer to Jungkook. He loves Jimin, of course! He loves his momma, but he loves playing with Jungkook and running, and biting his neck and giving him kisses on the cheek. When Jungkook comes back home Chan always runs to him and hugs his legs, yelling that: “Dad! I miss you! Let's play! Play! Let's play!”

Chan is a really polite little thing! He has a lot more force than other kids. It was usual when they went to the park near the apartment to play, Chan ended making the other kids cry because he pushed them too hard or hold them too tight. Chan was really sensitive about that. “Why everyone hates me so much?”, he asks Jimin while crying at bedtime. Because of that, and knowing that it wasn't on purpose or his fault (it was in his genes, having more force and being faster than others), Jimin takes really serious the mission of making Chan a little polite thing. Now all the adults on the building love him!

Chan is really good saying “Thanks”, “No, thanks”, “Please” and using formal words with adults. Usually when Jungkook asks Jimin something Chan always yells: “You didn't say please, daddy! That's rude!”

Chan is really good at maths. Jimin helps him with his homework everyday after class. Jungkook is not that good, because he forgets about it or doesn't think is that important at that age. Jimin is more strict in that topic.

He's a really good student.

Taeyang, in the other hand, is a mama’s boy. He's an omega and he was a lot smaller than Chan, and weaker. He was born in winter and Jimin was really worried about it. Little pups are usually really attached to the “mother” figure and cry when being away from them for a long time. For Taeyang, that period of being attached was longer than normal.

Taeyang looks like delicate mix between Jimin and Jungkook. He has Jungkook’s doe eyes, a cute button nose and Jimin's lips. His face is rounder than Chan's and he has a little mole down his eye, on the side. He's a really cute boy!

Because of Jimin liking to dress Taeyang with pastel colors (Taeyang let's him, when Chan started to get conscious about colours, he only wanted to wear red! Like the superheros!) and tied his hair on two little ponytails, a lot of people thought that Taeyang was a girl.

Taeyang always cries when Jimin is away of him and usually he moves a lot when Jungkook tries to carry him. He just wants to be in mama’s arms! He wants to feel mama’s heart and his warm!

His first word was “Muum” and his favorite word is “Mommy!”

At the morning Taeyang is really excited in his moses because he misses Jimin during the night. He always moves and says “Mommy. Mommy. Muuum”, when Jimin is going to pick him to change the diaper and give him breakfast.

Taeyang is always holding Jimin's hand when going outside home. When Jimin asks him to: “Go and do some friends”, Taeyang just shakes his head and hides his face on Jimin's legs.

Jungkook is a little awkward at beginning with Taeyang because the little pup doesn't pay him a lot of attention (perhaps, he loves him a lot too), but at the end Jungkook always manages to make him laugh a lot! When he was a baby and Jungkook could hold him, Taeyang always ends laughing because of the silly faces he does for him!

Jungkook has a really sensitive nose, so, when the two of them were more babies he was the first one to notice that it was the change-the-diaper-time.

Jungkook favorite thing is taking photos of his family.

Jungkook loves doing activity with his little pups. Taeyang could be more timid and more introverted than Chan, that is always running and wanting to play with him, but he loves to draw. The first time Jungkook sits down beside him and starts drawing a flower for Taeyang to colour, the little pup was so amazed about it that after that, he is always making doodles everywhere and showing it too Jungkook before giving it to Jimin.

Jimin puts them on the fridge but after a time is too full for more of them!

Chan loves dancing! He loves seeing his parents dance together (but he really, really loves when mama dance like it was some kind of magic fairy), so, after a time, he starts to copy the movements.

Jimin and Jungkook discusses about it, at the end they decide that when Chan gets a little more older they would put them in a dance class.

For now Chan is happy dancing with Just Dance on Youtube and with his parents.

Chan and Taeyang are really different, but they love each other. Chan is always taking care of his little brother.

Backstory of how you got into Kpop?

2009: so i bought a new ipod nano right it was like b4 mp4 players were in mobile devices and i have an older cousin shes like older by 4 yrs and i was 9 at the time and i wasnt as tech savvy as a 12 yr old would be so i asked if she could download songs for me and i didnt really request any songs, she just gave me some of her songs from her own playlist and what do u kno let me hear your voice by bigbang was one of them !! being super like curious as to what i was listening to i searched them up and i fell in love w gd in that mv like WOW his BLOND got me right in my 9 yr old heart and i started to listen to their other songs which i really loved and i loved a lot of taeyang’s solo songs like look only at me and wedding dress that was my shit and i ended up watching a few wonder girls/2ne1 mvs

2013: i faded out of kpop and didnt really know what was happening anymore in that realm and i was watching bubzbeauty and her background music was an instrumental of cafe by bigbang (which is SUCH a BOP) and i really liked it so i searched it up bc i knew she was a fan of bb as well and i was like oh hey its bigbang i wonder how theyve been and at the time their recent song was like FANTASTIC BABY so u could imagine how turned off i was by them LOLOL but i couldnt get over how much i liked cafe and then some of their other songs and im tellin u jiyong SNATCHED my heart AGAIN after like an idle 4 years HE DID THAT !! and bb/2ne1/mostly yg artist was the only groups i listened to bc i didnt really think to venture out of them bc bb was my rock i loved bigbang and i didnt want to leave then i got my friends into kpop and one of them actually showed me bts bc she didnt rlly care abt group hopping and so bts was my second boy group that i got into and now im here in 2017 still listening to kpop !!1!!

I’ll Betray You To Protect You

Chapter 3: One Member Revealed

The sound of your alarm playing Good Boy by GD and Taeyang awoke you from your deep slumber. You lazily pressed the off button on your clock and dragged yourself into the bathroom to take a shower; after doing your morning routine and having a healthy-ish breakfast, you checked your phone to see what time it was. 'Hm...I still have an hour left and it takes me about 15 minutes to get to school. Should I go visit the guys on the way?' you wondered as you slipped on your shoes. Everyone in Bangtan practically lived at the hideout; they had parents to live with but they didn't want to have to constantly listen to lectures on why they shouldn't be staying out late or having to answer questions about how they got beat up. Plus, since everything was still working at the old school building—like electricity and water—and they wouldn’t have to pay for rent, they decided to make it their second home. Classrooms turned into bedrooms and even weapon rooms—they weren’t as outstanding as the ones in movies but it was still amazing to see how much they had gathered over time.

As you were contemplating on whether to go visit the others or not, you suddenly heard a loud bang on the wall. Your eyes traveled to where the sound came from and said, “That was from next door, is Kangdae ok?” Even though you were iffy about your new neighbor you couldn't forget about how much you two had gotten along, so you decided to push the nasty feelings aside. You walked in front of his door and knocked on it but there was no reply. "Hey! Kangdae, are you in there?" There was no response. 'Should I test the handle to see if it's unlocked?' The question pondered in your mind for a few seconds before you gave in to your curiosity. Surprisingly, it opened with ease and you discovered that he was definitely still home because his shoes were in the doorway. You decided to let yourself in and headed straight to his room, only to see that he was fast asleep. The position that he was in made you giggle because he was hugging a pillow like it was the love of his life. Looking at your phone, you realized that he would be late for school if he didn’t start getting ready soon—considering how long it usually takes to get dressed, brush your teeth, etc.; you were about to shake his shoulder to wake him up and his eyes started to flutter open.

"(Y/N)? You do know that breaking into a person's house is illegal, right?"

You watched as he sat upright in bed to rub his eyes and stretch his arms. Kangdae yawned one last time before pushing his blanket aside to get up and walk towards you. He didn’t seem flustered at all but you, on the other hand, you were blushing extremely hard.

"I-I didn't mean to—well I kind of did since I just walked in without permission—but y-your door was unlocked and I heard a bang come fro-"

"Calm down, its fine you can come here whenever you want, ok?" he winked at you before continuing, "I must've forgotten to lock it yesterday. Some of my friends visited me and when they left I had to clean the place up; after that I guess I was just too tired to care. I was going to ask if you wanted to hang out with us, but you weren't home. I heard you come in pretty late too..."

'Oh yeah, that's right! I went to go see the guys because they wanted to watch a movie with me at the base' you remembered and nervously said, "I just went to the store to get some green onions for the ddeokbokki that I was going to make for dinner tonight, but they ran out of it, so I just decided to walk around for a while"

"I could have gone with you; it’s not safe to walk by yourself past midnight...Hey uh well...I love having you in my room and all, but I got to get changed for school"

"O-Ok I'll see you later then I'm going to head to scho-"

"Wait! Can we walk together? I don't know where the office is and I was wondering if you could show me?"

You agreed to his request and waited for him outside. After about 9 minutes he walked out of his front door looking like a prince in his uniform and his hair was neatly combed—just like the way it was the first day you had met him. "Well that was fast, I should’ve let you sleep some more because we still have 30 minutes to get to school" you said and he snickered at your comment before pointing in the direction of the elevator. Once you pressed the button to the lift you turned and asked, "Did you lock your door?" He froze for a second and scratched the back of his neck. "Dang it...I forgot again!"

The two of you began to talk about your interests and Kangdae asked you about how (S/N) is like; you told him about the disgusting food that they served in the cafeteria, causing him laugh and say that he would try it for himself. In the middle of the conversation he informed you that after you showed him the location of the office, he would go off to meet some of his friends, who also needed to know where it was. Suspicion built up in you and when the school was a few minutes away you brought up the topic.

"Are your friends new here too?"

"Hm? Oh yeah they are! We all decided to leave our home town because it was pretty dull over there. Our parents didn't really mind us leaving since they knew that we could take care of ourselves"

"Where’s your hometown and what do you mean by 'dull'?"

"We used to live in Busan and…well there wasn't really anything to do over there. Plus no one really wanted to mess with us anymore, so we got bored"

‘That’s my home town too. N-No way he couldn’t be…’ you paused and asked, "Mess with you? W-What are you in a gang?"

He suddenly stopped right in front of you and bent down so that you two were eye to eye; “Bingo” was all he said before strolling off. You stood there stunned for a moment then ran up to walk next to Kangdae, who stayed silent the rest of the way—barely anyone was on campus, causing you to feel nervous. As the both of you approached the office, he suddenly grabbed your wrist tightly and made you face him. “You must’ve been shocked huh? Look…I’m sorry for telling you about me being in a gang member so casually, but I just figured that since we live next to each other you were going to have to find out sooner or later. Please don’t be scared of me, ok? I won’t hurt you, I promise…especially since I like you.”

“W-Wait what?!”

“I said I like you and you may not like me now but I’ll change your mind soon” Kangdae brought his lips to your ear and said with a hushed voice, “Because I want you and, whatever I want, I get.” He let go of you and patted your head before waving goodbye.

Jimin yawned as he closed his locker and started to walk to his first period class; when he turned a corner he saw you slowly walking in the same direction he was going in. The young boy quickly caught up to you and wrapped his arms around your waist in a back hug. His cheerful smile dropped once he saw your pale complexion and asked, “Are you ok, (Y/N)?! You don’t look so go-” You suddenly interrupted him by grabbing his arm and pulling him under the stairway because you faintly heard people coming down the steps. Jimin was going to ask you what was going on, but, before he was able to, you put your index finger to your lips--signaling for him to keep quiet.

“Come on you guys the office is this way!”

“How do you know, Kang-ah?”

“My future girlfriend told me!”

“Future girlfriend?”

“I’ll introduce her to you guys later; she’s beautiful and kind and man! I think I’m in love!”

“You’ve only been here for four days and you already think you’re in love with someone? What’s wrong with kids these days?”

“Shut up Dae-hyung you’re only a year older than me, so don’t call me a fuckin’ kid! Mung-hyung tell him to stop!”

Their voices began to fade away as they walked down the hall and you to let out a sigh of relief. You turned to see your friend with his arms crossed and a stern expression on his face. “Yah, (Y/N)-ah! I know that we have to keep our friendship a secret but it doesn’t mean that we have to hide from others!” Jimin huffed and pouted. Ignoring his playful anger, you told him that you guys needed to get to the base right away. “What about class?” he asked and slightly tilted his head to the side. “This is important! I’m going to head there first, you have to find Tae and Jungkook! I’ll explain everything over there, ok?!” With that said you ran off at full speed avoiding the yelling teachers and the crowds of students entering the school.

Namjoon had just woken up and decided to get some coffee in the kitchen, a.k.a the teacher's lounge. Jin was making some scrambled eggs as J-hope watched cartoons on the TV and Suga sat at the table with his head leaning on this hands. The leader walked to the window with his drink after greeting everyone in the room; at the corner of his eye he saw a figure hop the tall fence and run into the building, his eyes widened and he quickly grabbed a pistol from his room before going into the hallway to find the perpetrator. Loud footsteps were heard near the main room—where everyone goes to have meetings or just hang out. He crept over to the janitor’s closet four doors down from where it was and waited; the stranger peeked into the room and saw that it was empty. The person was about to go down the hallway but was quickly stopped by Namjoon, who jumped out and aimed his gun. He heard a familiar voice scream for dear life and quickly lowered his weapon when he realized who it was. The rest of the elders were startled and went to where the screech came from, only to see you slapping Rap Mon on the shoulder multiple times. Jin walked up to you and asked, “(Y/N) shouldn’t you be at school? Why are you here?” Instead of answering him you rushed everyone into the meeting room and told them to wait for the others to arrive.

It took V, Jungkook, and Jimin about 13 minutes to finally get to the hideout. Once they entered the room you hurried them to sit down on one of the desks. Your friends were intensely staring at you as you paced around the room. Namjoon was the first to talk, “What’s going on (Y/N)?”

“The Wings are here…”

“What?! How do you know?”

“The day I went home after you told us about them moving here I got a new neighbor; his name is Kangdae and this morning he told me that he moved here from Busan! I thought it could have been a coincidence but when I asked him if he was in a gang he didn’t hesitate to confirm it!”

“S-So your saying that you’re living right next to one the members?!”

“Nah she’s trying to tell us that she’s living next to frickin’ Scooby Doo. Of course that’s what she’s trying say!” Yoongi said and tousled his hair out of frustration—he had just woken up, so what do you expect.

You proceeded to tell them that some of his friends were attending (S/N) too and this caused your schoolmates to tense up slightly. This was going to make it extremely hard for them to go home without getting followed. Namjoon left the room and returned with a few handguns and pocket knives; he handed them out to the members and told them to keep it with them at all times. J-hope stood next to you and said, “There’s something else you want to tell us right? I can see it on your face.” All eyes were on you once more and you put your head down, “Kangdae…he said that he wants to make me his girlfriend.” Their eyes grew and they yelled out ‘Whats’ and ‘Uhs’ as they gathered around you.

“When did he tell you that?!”

“No way! I’m not letting him touch you!

“I’m going to stomp on him like a horse!”

“Is that why you looked so pale ealier?!”

“That jerk! Like hell we're going to let him take you!”

“What did you say!?”

“You’re not going to leave us right (Y/N)-ah?!”

Everyone was frantic and you had to calm them down first before reassuring them that everything will be fine. “Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere, I promise!” Namjoon patted you on the back and told you that you did a good job for gathering information before looking to the rest of the members; he explained that they needed to recruit some allies so that when they were in trouble they could have backup and started to team people up to go talk with other gangs. Tae and Hoseok were to go visit Block-B; Jimin was to go with Kookie to see 4minute while Jin, Suga, and Rap Mon were left to go talk with Got7. Your mission was to listen in on the conversations that Kangdae has when his members visit his house and to also continue getting close with him and the rest of his members if possible.

He just came to your apartment because you told him you wanted to talk with him. He was really hoping you weren't pregnant or do drugs, because you were in your early twenties, that's why he quickly came. You told him you were dating someone and he really thought you were pregnant in that moment, he didn't show any reaction to the fact you were dating so you continued and told him you were dating BTS member Suga. He heard they are really successful idol group in Korea and he got worried you won't have privacy with him. He was really against it at first but you convinced he will take good care of you.

"Oh, really? Well you better be prepared if you'll go public you know."

You were on a family dinner with your parents and your older brother. You already told your parents and right before Jiyong had to leave you told him you were dating BTS member Jin and before he could react you told him about his personality and how good he takes care of the members. He didn't think it was a really big deal, but he told you it will be a heavy burden for you and him. He also said that if you two will seriously date he would like to meet him. You were really happy that he wasn't mad at you because you promised him you won't date any idol.

When You Smile, The Sun Shines

(This was originally posted to my Wattpad and completely written by me)

Jimin retrieved the spare key from under the flower pot and fiddled with it before sticking it into the lock of Yoongi’s apartment.

“Hyung?”

The door opened soundlessly, only to reveal the living room to be in an unfavourably unkempt condition with papers and writing paraphernalia that had once sat neatly on the coffee table swept onto the floor. The television was left on and unwatched, running on a cheap live comedy skit show—the kind of rubbish that made Yoongi scrunch his nose judgingly so Jimin found it weird it was playing.

He sauntered over to the remote that was wedged in between two cushions on the couch and turned the television off, drenching the house in a chilling silence that made Jimin very uneasy. He set the two plastic bags he held in his hand on the coffee table before making his way deeper into the apartment, wondering why Yoongi hadn’t come out to greet him yet or scold him for walking in without an earlier notice.

He pondered the possibility of Yoongi not being at home but his favourite and only pair of shoes (His hyung was too lazy to buy another pair despite Jimin’s sexy persuasion skills) had been there on the rack when he had walked in. Maybe his hyung was asleep….

“Hyung?” Jimin called again, seeing if he would get a response.

The sound of glass crashing to the ground and shattering to pieces rang in Jimin’s ear and he looked up sharply towards the direction of the kitchen, his recently dyed red hair falling into his eyes.

His legs quickly propelled him forward as he stepped into the kitchen, his eyes scanning the room for any signs of his hyung. He walked around the counter and inhaled sharply when he saw Yoongi on the floor, slumped against the kitchen cabinets, his face wiped clean of any emotion as he stared at the shattered bloodstained glass that lay in between his feet. His left hand rested on his thigh, the palm facing upwards and cut wide open as crimson pulsed from the wound, seeping into his pants and onto the floor.

As his eyes widened at the sight of the frightening amount of blood that was coming from Yoongi’s hand before he quickly crouched down beside the injured boy and took the injured hand, carefully cradling it as he reached up and ripped a long strip of tissues that were conveniently placed on the counter above him. He pressed the wad of tissues to Yoongi’s wound and received no reaction from the older boy.

“Hyung, what happened?” Jimin murmured, scrutinising the broken and dangerous shards of glass by Yoongi’s feet.

The stillness of Yoongi’s face cracked like ice as he spoke, his eyes quickly watering without ever looking away from the jagged glass. “Jimin, why can’t I do anything right?”

Jimin bit his lower lip as he realised what was happening. Yoongi was having, as he liked to call them, ‘one of those days’.

The type of days that left you feeling like you were in quicksand, quickly being dragged down, swallowed and suffocated. The days that felt like everything you ever held near and dear had been ripped away or even worse yet, had walked away from you willingly. The days that made you feel far too flawed and far too small and insignificant for this vast world in this vast galaxy which sat in our endless universe. The type of days that made you feel like you no longer mattered to the people that mattered most to you.

Gently, Jimin brushed Yoongi’s hair to a side before leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to his boyfriend’s prominent jawline. The latter seemed to deflate at the feeling of Jimin’s lips against his skin, sagging against the younger boy as if all the bones in his body had become jelly.

“Don’t say that. You do so many things right, you just haven’t been told.” Jimin consoled, rubbing soothing circles into Yoongi’s pale wrist with his free hand. “Let me clean your wound now."

Limply, Yoongi allowed Jimin to help him up, not doing much to avoid the shards. Jimin made sure to steer them both clear of the hazard as they walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

Leaving Yoongi on the couch, Jimin ventured into the bathroom by the kitchen in search for the first aid kit he knew Yoongi kept. He rummaged through the cabinets and checked around the bathroom before he found it hidden in the space under the sink. He grabbed a folded face towel that sat on the edge of the bath tub and ran it under the faucet briefly before returning to Yoongi.

Kneeling before his hyung, Jimin poked around for the antiseptic and a ball of cotton and set the two aside when he found them. He pressed his lips into a straight line as he pulled the wad of tissues—now slightly damp with warm, sticky crimson—and regarded the nasty cut imprinted in the flesh, now no longer bleeding profusely.

He carefully cleaned the skin around the wound of blood with the damp cloth before dabbing the cotton ball which he had dipped into the antiseptic onto the wound itself. He kept his eyes on his task at hand but occasionally flickered his gaze upwards to see if Yoongi was showing any signs of pain.

"Does it hurt?” Yoongi shook his head almost robotically, his eyes hooded as they bored holes into Jimin’s skull.

“I’m sorry, Jimin.” Yoongi whispered, sounding so dead and so, so broken.

Jimin shook his head, feeling a ball lodge in his throat of sadness and love for the boy before him as he ducked down to brush his lips onto the back of his hyung’s hand. “Don’t apologise, hyung. I love you…just please, if you ever feel like how you do, call or tell me.” He then wrapped the injured hand in gauze and dressing before pressing his lips to it again, glancing at Yoongi through his eyelashes.

He leaned back, still clutching Yoongi’s hand. “Just give me a minute.” he murmured before leaving his hyung on the couch and walked toward the kitchen, grabbing a broom and dustpan on his way. He made sure he swept up every piece of glass, making sure he got even the tinier chips before disposing the shards into a plastic bag which he then dumped into the garbage.

“You know what you need?” Jimin asked when he returned to the living room before answering his own question, not waiting for Yoongi’s reply. “A day of complete chill."

After Jimin had hurriedly stacked the scattered papers into an average stack and writing equipment into a makeshift pencil holder (an empty cup) to give the place some form of organisation, he revealed what he had brought in the two plastic bags: chips, packeted instant noodles, two bottles of soju, varying types of chocolate and several movies that were their favourites (or rather, had been Jimin’s favourites and after making Yoongi watch them with him a dozen times, they had grown on the latter as well)

A small smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes tugged at Yoongi’s lips when Jimin waved one of the funnier romantic comedies in front of his face before sticking it into the CD player and falling onto the couch beside Yoongi, propping his legs onto the couch and pulling him towards his chest and resting his hands over his boyfriend’s stomach as the movie begun playing. Yoongi wiggled around in the spot in between Jimin’s legs until he was comfortable.

He sighed softly as he rested his head against Jimin’s shoulder, clasping one hand and intertwining their fingers, something that they both enjoyed immensely.

Only Jimin seemed to be concentrating on the movie as Yoongi was far too busy playing with his boyfriend’s fingers, skimming his knuckles with his other free hand that wasn’t intertwined with Jimin’s.

"Babe, what are you doing?” Jimin mused, nuzzling his face into Yoongi’s feather soft hair. The older boy blushed at the term of endearment but stopped his fidgeting, quickly removing his hand. Jimin chuckled, moving his boyfriend’s hand over his again. “No, don’t stop. I like it.”

Yoongi pressed his lips together as he smiled softly, resuming his light brushes and stroking while only partially paying attention to the comedic drama unfolding on the screen.

“Jimin,” Yoongi whispered after a long, comfortable silence between them, as the female protagonist of the story dumped a vase of flowers on her future love interest. The word barely made a sound but Jimin seemed to have heard him as he tore his gaze away from the screen to pay attention to the boy in his arms. “You know I love you, right?”

Jimin hummed in acknowledgment, ducking his head to press another kiss to the top of his boyfriend’s head. “Of course. Do you know I love you?”

Yoongi twisted around in Jimin’s embrace to look the younger in the eye and saw so much love, so much adoration and warmness that he smiled softly, nodding. He was staring at his home, the one place he would always feel welcome and loved. “Yeah, I do.”

“Good. Because I love you so, so much, hyung. And I never want you to forget it.” Jimin continued, planting kisses on his temple and earlobe. “You matter the most to me and no one can change that.”

“Not even Taeyang?” Yoongi joked softly, referring to Jimin’s slight obsession to the Bigbang singer.

Jimin scoffed. “He may have the name but you are the real taeyang of my life.”

Yoongi blushed, burying his face in Jimin’s chest. “That was so cheesy,”

“I know. But you love my cheesy ass.”

Yoongi grew very serious before he looked at Jimin with a straight expression, his words leaving Jimin positively scandalised. “I love your ass…not so sure about the cheesiness.”
