just stayed up too late watching all of Douglas is Cancelled and i cannot recommend it enough but you have to watch all four episodes to get the story. without giving any big spoilers – it is not actually about cancel culture as the title and first two episodes imply and it's described as a comedy but the latter half is a very gripping drama. if things seem off at first, they're very much meant to. also damn Karen Gillan can act. i've seen her in plenty of stuff over the years but this is almost definitely her best performance. hope she gets the accolades she deserves.

(also protip – it's available on itv in the UK but not legally in the US (among other places) unfortunately so do with that what you will)

I have finally conceded that gremlins have eaten my kindle voyage and I do, in fact, need to replace it. It's been more than year of waiting for it to "turn up" interspersed with frantic episodes of looking. It's not happening! It's in the negaverse now.

Aha, I'm less in the know than you think!! But I can assure you there IS a new trigun, trigun stampede, a reboot which seems to have different takes on some of the characters and themes!! I've not seen it yet and don't plan to for a while (I'm trying very hard to be kind to my brain and at least let the og settle in my head as I read the manga), but what I've heard sounds super cool!!

Anyway, ownership issue aside, The Final Cut is wonderful. The voice acting are all great (especially Kim... babe....), they removed Dasha so huge W, idk man I think it's fantastic! I've read complaints about the voice acting before playing it, how it was all ruined, but idk man that's not true. I don't think I would like the game as much if it wasn't fully voice acted haha. However, I'll probably never touch the collage mode because it was made after the dispute and blech it just left a bad taste in my mouth even tho in theory I should love it...
