I found this fic back in December (By the way, thanks for upholding my so far 7 month Deltarune hyper fixation) so I wasn’t around in real time for the finale chapter, but oh my god. What an experience. I finished it in like two days but I remember having that thought of “Oh my god this is what I’ve been waiting for!” during those climax chapters.

Roughly 100k words later and here we are lol. (Writing that much is such an accomplishment btw I feel like that deserves it’s OWN congratulations.) Anyway, excited as always to see the next chapter!!

thinking about all the grand gestures people have done for jin. hwoarang deserting the korean army just to fight (see) jin. xiaoyu never giving up going after jin and protecting him at all costs. lee and lars saving jin's life and offering him shelter. his mother always reminding him who he is and how important that person is. jin used to think he was so alone, but really he has people willing to move the world for him.

this is the reference btw and for context the play is centered around anne hathaways character (viola) pretending to be her twin brother and the complexity of the relationships she has with these two due to her being a "man." the woman is engaged to be wed to the man but ends up falling in love with viola instead, all the while viola is in love with him and they eventually end up together after she reveals herself to be a woman. i feel like any mil/ven connections would be the same misunderstanding within the show lmao, as in el being in "love" with mike all the while hes just not in it. els character in this really only loves viola because she sees her as a chase and "different" from other men LOL. i think this dynamic works so well for them !!!!!!
