Just saw your tags about Dick & Clark meeting first, where is this from?
the old time radio the adventures of superman show from the 1940s! unfortunately most of the serial was lost - we only have episode 2, 4, and 5, out of a 12 part serial. they are number 432-434 in this archive, if you wanna listen dick shows up in 433/part 4!
in brief, batman goes missing on a dangerous mission he refused to let dick in on, and dick, after trying everything, ends up writing a letter to superman asking for his help, and sends it to the planet. clark finds dick unconscious on a boat and rescues him, and they start working together to find bruce! and then the rest of the episodes are lost so we have to piece together the rest of the plot through secondhand sources :,)

I don't know what brought it to mind, but I got to thinking about Han's hilarious expression when Leia tells him that she loves Luke because he's her brother, and we all know exactly why he's so "lol what" until he decides to roll with it.
I do really enjoy that he's allowed to have this response that doesn't minimize how absolutely batshit this reveal would be for anyone actually involved in the situation, despite it working conveniently to wrap things up in the narrative.
I also enjoy that after he processes the shock of Luke and Leia being siblings and Leia knowing about this (with zero explanation of how long she's known about it at that point), he's like ... eh, whatever, this is awesome actually.

Hello, you seem like you already know what you're doing with your pet fish so this ask is probably not very useful, but here is something I learned from my dad who used to have pet fish: When they can't eat food pellets, make sure to remove the uneaten pellets or they mold and could cause an ammonia spike. And soaking the pellets beforehand can make it easier for the fish to eat (sometimes there are special oils that make the pellets more appealing to the fish too). I don't own fish myself so I don't know how common this knowledge is, but since I learned one of your fish is sick I don't want to take the risk, so I will share the information just in case.
Best wishes of recovery to Miss Lucy
Aw, thank you so much! I really appreciate that you took the time to help out, as well as the well-wishes!
No worries at all: I'm not removing the food that she doesn't eat, but that's mostly because I have a nerite snail and a plethora of shrimp in the tank that are having a good time feasting on the leftovers. There's been a little shrimp party underneath the part of the tank where I feed her the past couple of days, and I'm doing extra water changes on top of that to make sure that the water quality is pristine for her recovery.
I might try soaking some micropellets, however. She's definitely trying to eat, just not able to swallow for whatever reason - likely the dropsy. I have a leftover container of New Life Spectrum's extra small pellets that I'm hoping might do the trick, and I'll give pre-soaking them a shot just in case as well.

Totally not my friends judging me hella hard a couple nights ago for being able to identify a man with just a glimpse of his jean pocket/ass.
We only had a shot of his shoes and jeans for the beginning shots, like what do you want? I can't identify a man by his shoes. The way his jeans rest, I got you.

Tone indicators are pointless, shut the fuck up
Damn I didn't know you understood my personal existence and experiences better than I --- the person living that experience --- do. My bad 😔 (/sarcasm)

How do I explain this? (Spoilers for Enstars Sanctuary story)
Sanctuary is the story of a guy who woke up in a strange world with weird looking monsters and empty streets with a guy who was his former theatre club president. Except the theatre club president (implied to be a bit of a cryptid except this world definitely has no magic) had somehow mentally regressed back to his five-year-old self, which is fine because he's a genius, and now the guy and his former club president have to deal with this strange place together. But the side story is that two of his friends are being shown around what is basically a cult disguised as an amusement park to indoctrinate people into believing they can become idols and apply to work in that industry. And there's also another side story in which the guy's other friend is being harassed by a middle aged man who's kidnapped their goddess, basically, and is also the mastermind behind the overarching plot in the villainous sense. Also, the former theatre club president's new team, specifically that team's leader, is perpetuating the idol cult because he's got a twisted obsession with idols and believes that to farm them is the only way they won't be discouraged by those with exceptional talent and skill.
But in reality, this is just the story of a lonely teenager who could only find a little bit of freedom to express his abandoned child self in a messed up system that another teenager (who is very smart but just doesn't understand human relationships) created because he cares about nothing but in reality cares about everything and perpetuates a cycle of constant destruction to keep his one obsession alive.
But even further than that, Sanctuary and the whole SS ARC is just a story of a bunch of high schoolers/recent high school graduates who want to sing getting tangled up in a very dangerous mafia-esque world and sometimes realizing that they should call the police or some law reinforcement but forgetting to do so every. single. time.
