I hope you all had a festive and safe holiday. I know things have been hard but I still hope you guys enjoyed the holiday.
2020 has finally came to an end and we’re all ending it the same way when the pandemic started—staying at home, hopefully following the appropriate health measures. I can only hope that 2021 is a brighter and hopeful year for all of us.
stay safe, sending u all my love.

Two hours. It’s been two hours since you found out that you were going to spend your holidays alone. You were aware that you weren’t going to spend your holidays with your family as you normally would, embracing the fact that working in a different country whilst in the middle of a pandemic was going to be challenging.
Working in the film industry, constantly visiting sets while still living in a pandemic means that you threw away your chances of being home for the holidays. However, you weren’t entirely the only one who shares a similar struggle.
“We should still do something for Christmas, you know,” Tom muttered as he watched you lay down on the sofa, your head is supported by the armrest.
See—it should’ve been you, Ophelia, Alex, William, and Tom in that AirBnB, not just you and Tom.
The five of you reside abroad, however, you all had to fly to Los Angeles for work. You all collectively knew that it would be irresponsible to fly home for the holidays and it wouldn’t make any sense as you would all fly back for work anyway.
The five of you had a brilliant idea of renting an AirBnB for the holidays since you were all in each other’s personal and work bubble anyway. Obviously, the three of them bailed as they’ve decided to stay with their partners instead, leaving you and Tom alone—which is the last thing you’ve wanted.
“There’s just us two, Tom,” You replied as you sent a lengthy text to Ophelia, telling and reminding them about what happened between you and Tom.  “I’m not entirely sure if it’s worth anything if we did plan on doing something remotely festive.”
There are four more days till Christmas and if you were being honest, the last time you felt festive was on the 18th of December...of 2019.
“Surely there’s something we can do, right?” Tom’s optimism still shined beneath him. “This year has already been shitty enough, we don’t need to feed more into that.”
The three dots bubble immediately popped up on your message thread with Ophelia as soon as you sent your passive-aggressive rant. Your focus was now on your phone.
Suddenly, Tom’s face appeared on top of yours—his face was definitely close enough that it’s not CDC approved. He was standing on side of the sofa, both of his palms planted against the armrest as he loomed over you.
“What do you and your family do during Christmas?” He dared to ask as if he wasn’t towering over you.
Your eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. “Uh—give each other personal space?” You answered out of sheer reflex. You always had a problem with keeping your mouth shut, especially when it sounds rude to other people. In your defence, being unable to do so has helped you put people back in place.
To be fair, you were used to people standing at least 6 ft away from you ever since the pandemic started.
Tom’s cheeks went bright red. “’m sorry,” He apologized, giving you a shy smile and scratched the back of his neck. You muttered a quick apology too, for acting so rashly.
You rose from your position and sat upright instead. “Well, we never do anything special during Christmas,” You said as you threw your hair into a bun. “We usually just go to the movies on Christmas Day because that’s the only thing you can do back when life was normal.”
Tom nodded understandingly as if he was taking this into account. Now you were curious.
“Do you guys do anything special for Christmas?” You asked him.
“Well, on Christmas Day, we would usually just lounge around the house and use it as a chance for me and my family to catch up,” Tom replied. “However, on Christmas Eve, my mum always made sure my brothers and I would have this scavenger hunt to look for our gifts—It’s really fun, actually.” Tom smiled sadly.
You could easily see how Tom was genuinely broken about not being able to be around his family over the holidays. Heck—he really just misses his family. But who wouldn’t? Britney Spears didn’t sing the line “my loneliness is killing me” for nothing.
“I’m sorry,” was all you could say. Aside from biting your tongue, being able to easily comfort people was one of your weaknesses too.
“Oh, there’s nothing to be sorry about, darling.” Tom quickly dismissed the genuine heartbreak he was trying to hide. “We’re all making sacrifices and we chose to be responsible for the benefit of other people.”
“Yeah, I know.” You said softly. “We’ll just try our best to make something out of this holiday season. I mean—we have to or else we’ll welcome 2021 with a fresh face of misery.”
Tumblr media
“I’m sorry!” Ophelia pouted at the screen as they mindlessly walked around their partner’s place, something that most people do when they’re on the phone with someone. “I genuinely forgot about what happened between you and Tom.”
“Well, Ollie, it seems like you weren’t the only one.” You replied, adjusting your glasses. Tom seems to be genuinely fine around you, no awkward tensions or anything. If anything, it’s just you who feels weird around him. “But I guess that’s a good thing right?”
Ophelia forced a smile but they couldn’t, for the life of them, say anything about it.
“Oh my god,” You sighed “Seriously, Ollie?”
“It’s just—how could he forget?! You were literally on top of him as I recall and that very much left a permanent image on my mind. I—You know, I really tried my best to forget that ever existing in my mind. So really, if anything, it’s your fault.” Ophelia rambled on.
“I—I wasn’t on top of him. That’s absurd! I was merely pressed against him” You said defensively, in which Ophelia just laughed atrociously. “Why am I friends with you again?!” You asked rhetorically, bewildered by the fact that you two lasted this long.
“First of all, that is a hate crime. Second, I’m cool—like everyone wants to be my friend and you should be glad that I gave you the privilege to be even on a nickname basis as me.”
You rolled your eyes at them. Despite the never-ending banter, you were grateful to have Ophelia as your friend.
“But seriously, Y/N,” Ophelia said, “You can always just stay with me and Ericka. She’ll be glad to have you over for the holidays.”
“Ollie, as much as I love spending time with you two—I can’t stand being a third-wheel, especially when it comes to the both of you. You two are inseparable when you’re together.” You replied. “I appreciate the offer though.” You smiled at her.
“I’m just saying—” Ophelia replied, shrugging her shoulder. “Unless you and Tom really want to have the house by yourselves.” They sang teasingly.
“Ophelia!” You gasped.
“What?” They feigned innocence. “I gave you an option to stay with us! Plus, I know Alex and Will are would’ve asked you to stay with them if they had any idea what happened between you two.”
“I can’t leave him!” You started to whisper “Tom seems genuinely bummed being here. I can’t just do that to him.”
It’s as if a light came on inside them. Ophelia started to smirk and you recognized that smirk from anywhere. For christ’s sake, their eyes twinkled like Christmas lights. It drove you nuts. “I fucking knew it.”
“What?”
“You like him don’t you?!” They teased, but all you could do was blush.
“I do not!” You denied it as you could still feel the burning heat emitting from your cheeks.
“His tongue is that good huh?” Ophelia decided to pry even further. They clearly find enjoyment as you squirmed your way out of this conversation.
“Bitch, I am ending this call.” That was all you could say. Even if you did find a smart retort, it was no use, especially with Ophelia. They can see right through you and there’s no point in trying to hide it.
“Honestly, Y/N, we’re living through a pandemic. If there’s any time to make any rash decisions, it’s now. Go get that dick, bih—”
You drowned out whatever Ophelia was trying to say with your goodbyes and proceeded to end the call. The one time you asked your friend to be serious and they come up with this.
So—what really happened with you and Tom?
Tumblr media
It was two years ago. You were at a party that you didn’t even plan on attending. However, you were dragged by Ophelia and their partner, Ericka—your new friends in the area. You couldn’t say no to them, they were your first friend in LA!
You thought about it though, saying no. But when you got a message from your friend back in Canada sending a photo of your boyfriend ex-boyfriend (the same guy who had ghosted you ever since you moved to LA), swapping spits with another girl, you suddenly had the strong urge to drink until you die of alcohol poisoning.
You were burning with anger that you really felt tears pricking your eyes. You were so close to crying or punching someone—whichever comes first.
One thing’s for sure, though, you weren’t going to cry over a man. So what did you do? “Ophelia, where’s the booze?!” You asked your friend whose eyes nearly popped out of their head.
Well, you weren’t really going to punch a stranger. Though you felt this burning sense of violence, it’d be much more satisfying to punch the living daylights out on your ex.
“Y/N, honey, are you alright?” That line always puts on the waterworks, no?  Ophelia was clearly concerned about your newfound thirst for alcohol.
You furiously wiped the tears off your face. “Um just found out my boyfriend—er ex-boyfriend, who stopped talking to me as soon as I moved here, is seeing someone else now? I don’t know, am I allowed to feel angry when I don’t even know if we’re still together as soon I moved? Fuck—” You tried to explain as you wiped every tear that left your eyes.
“Oh—of course, hon.” Ericka who handed you a drink. You weren’t exactly sure what it is, but you knew it has alcohol in it and that’s all that matters. You gulped the entire thing and you wanted more. “Y/N, you need to slow down.”
“Are you sure you want to stay? I mean we can crash at our place, eat take-outs, watch movies and be totally disconnected from the world.” Ophelia suggested, but you shook your head furiously.
“No, I—I’m ok.” You answered “I can’t let the both of you be stuck in misery with me. I need this. I’ll get drunk and if I'm up for it, I’ll hook up with someone. It’s not a healthy coping method but I really want this night to be a series of bad decisions. I don’t want to be myself, even just tonight.”
So that’s what you did. You were going from one drink to another in record time. Both Ophelia and Ericka kept an eye on you, just in case someone tried to take advantage of your drunken state.
You were talking to some guy you met in the kitchen, one thing led to another and next thing you knew, you were making out with this dude in someone’s bathroom. Ophelia and Ericka were drunk enough to pester the guy you were making out with but not drunk
As you were propped on top of the sink and your legs wrapped around his waist, you felt every bit of his lips explore the side of your neck as his hands explored every inch of your body. With his hand under your shirt and his fingers tracing every part of your skin, it just reminded you of how lonely you were.
Here you were, a thousand miles away from home, all alone just so you could do the one thing you really love. Your family would sometimes call to check up on you but it just wasn’t the same. Your ex tried to guilt you into staying in Canada, but you couldn’t do that. You love what you do and you love yourself too.
You were willing to risk everything, even if happiness came at a price.
Now you were crying, and the guy you were making out with definitely noticed.
“I’m sorry, am I making you uncomfortable?” He asked as he pulled down your shirt.
“No—no, I’m just—” You tried to calm yourself down. “I’m not sure if I want to do this anymore.”
“That’s alright,” He mumbled wiping the tears off your face. “Do you want to talk about it? You seem rattled.”
“It’s just I’m so tired of pretending everything is alright—that I’m okay being alone, that I don’t need anyone. But it’s just so hard because I’m—” You sobbed “I’m so fucking lonely. I’m so tired of being alone.”
The guy tucked the stray piece of hair behind your ears as he carefully wiped your tears with his thumb. He was just silent as he listened to you sob.
“I’m sorry, I know you definitely didn’t come to this party to watch a complete stranger cry over something stupid.” You couldn’t even look him in the eye, you were embarrassed as this was the first time you felt really vulnerable—especially in front of a stranger.
“No, you’re alright.” He tried to console you “I think that’s the beauty in strangers, no? You can act and do whatever you want in front of them because there’s a slim chance you’ll ever see them again.”
You were definitely drunk enough that trying to make sense of who the person was a struggle enough of itself. You tried your best to look at the guy but your vision was getting hazy and you could feel your head thumping that focusing made you feel like you want to crack your head in half.
A loud knock on the door caused you two to jump. “I’m coming in,” Ophelia yelled and opened the door. Ophelia looked at the guy for a while, trying to make sense of who he was before their eyes widened. “I remember now—You’re Tom Holland.”
Tumblr media
Imagine your surprise when you found out that you were going to work with Tom Holland for a while. You tried your best to avoid Tom at work but of course, that didn’t work out. He never brought up what happened between you two and you assumed he probably forgot all about it.
You tried to rationalize that he meets a lot of people every day. Surely, one failed hook-up wasn’t worth remembering (especially with alcohol involved) and you held on to that.
At least that’s what makes you sleep at night and also one of the reasons why you considered spending the holidays with him. However, you were also expecting your crew friends to stay with you and not just Tom.
“Y/N, did you like the gift? It’s from me and Ericka!” Ophelia asked. It was the next day and you two were just chatting on FaceTime. You were sorting out your closet out of sheer boredom. You figured if you were going to stay here for three weeks, the least you could do was sort your clothes out.
You stared at the neatly wrapped box that Ophelia and Ericka dropped off earlier this morning. “I haven’t opened it yet.” You said as you showed them the box. “I wanna open it till Christmas.”
“Oh my god, just open it. Christmas doesn’t exist this year, babe.” Ophelia waved their hand, encouraging you to open it.
“Fine,” You gave in. You opened the box and saw a very lush and well-made lingerie set. “Ophelia, what the fuck” You gasped. You held out the lingerie in front of the camera.
“Y/N, I definitely outdid myself this time.” Ophelia sighed happily, staring at the screen. “Try it on!”
“Ollie, this is gorgeous but when am I ever going to use this?” You asked holding it out on your body and looking at the mirror.
“Uh—you’re stuck at home with your failed but also potential hookup,” Ollie suggested, wiggling their eyebrows. “Who knows what might happen?”
You rolled your eyes at them. “Bold of you assume that something might happen.”
“Something won’t happen if you don’t try that one,” Ophelia said. “C’mon, I wanna see.”
You shook your head and went out of frame in order to strip off your clothes. You tried on the lingerie—it’s a black lace teddy with a very exposing back. IT fit you perfectly—it accentuated your figure and definitely showed off your boobs. You weren’t really fond of showing off your body but you still tried your best to show it to your friend.
“What do you think?” You asked, stepping back to the frame.
“You look gorgeous, babe!” Ophelia squealed. “I knew I made the right choice with black.”
“I still don’t know where I should wear this though—” You were stopped mid-sentence when your door swung open.
“I know what we’re doing this—Oh shit. I’m so sorry,” Tom stood there, frozen, his eyes widened and immediately shut the door.
You couldn’t even say anything. You were frozen in shock.
“Was that Tom?” Ophelia asked from the call, briefly forgetting that you were talking to them through FaceTime.
You nodded slowly, unable to talk.
“What did he think?” Ophelia asked excitedly.
You snapped out of this haze. “Ollie,” you groaned. “I think he was mentally scarred.
“What do you mean scarred? You look great!” Ophelia said, appalled. “If he doesn’t think you look banging in that lingerie then it’s his loss.”
“I gotta go, I need to change.” You said, bidding Ophelia goodbye. “Thanks for the gift, Ollie. Tell Ericka thanks too.”
You ended the call and changed into comfier clothes. You couldn’t help but wonder how on earth you’re going to face Tom now that he’s seen you practically naked. Well, it’s not like that’s a new sight. He did see you with your bra on when you were making out in the bathroom that one time. But still!
Are you actually going to spend your Christmas in your room?
Tumblr media
It was the next day and there are only two more days till Christmas. You spent the entirety of last night in your room after the incident between you and Tom.
You were about to make yourself some coffee when you found Tom in the kitchen, making tea for himself. You stood there frozen, wondering if you were going to proceed to the kitchen or just run back to your room since Tom hasn’t noticed you—
“Oh—good morning, Y/N.” So close.
You smiled at Tom and said, “Good morning, Tom.”
You grabbed a coffee pod and waited for the Keurig to make your coffee. You leaned back against the counter and fiddled with your phone—all in the hopes that things move quickly and for this awkward tension to be over.
Honestly, why were you so worked up about it? People have seen you in a bikini before and that’s no different from lingerie. If anything, lingerie is itchier and has lace. You should be able to feel confident in your own body and you shouldn’t have to mind what other people think of it. It’s yours alone and it’s your opinion that should matter—
“I’m terribly sorry about last night, Y/N.” Tom apologized, sincerity was written all over his face. “I should’ve knocked and I just got so bloody excited about what we can do over Christmas—but that’s no excuse for what I’ve done. What I did was incredibly intrusive and you deserve a proper apology.”
“Tom, I—”
“I wanted to apologize last night—over dinner—but you didn’t come down to eat, so I figured you didn’t want to talk. “ He rambled on.
“Tom—”
“But even then I should’ve asked you to come down and eat dinner because that’s what any decent human would do! And yet I didn’t. God—I’m just doing one wrong thing after another—”
“Tom, listen to me.”
“Hm?” He finally snapped out and looked at you in the eyes.
“It’s okay. It was an honest mistake and you sincerely apologized, and for me, that’s enough.” You smiled softly at him. “So—what’s this thing you planned over Christmas?”
“I was thinking we could do both our family traditions over the next two days. My family and I usually do a roast dinner and open our Christmas stockings on Christmas Eve. Then on the 25th, we can watch movies all day just like you do with your family.” Tom grinned, clearly satisfied with his plan. “What do you think?”
“I think it’s a great idea,” You smiled “However, I don’t think we have any ingredients for a roast dinner and we don’t really have Christmas stockings. Well—I don’t have any Christmas stockings and stocking stuffers.”
“That’s true,” Tom mumbled “But I have to do the food shopping anyway. We’re running low on food and I couldn't really book one of those online delivery things that most groceries now offer.”
You nodded. “Okay, so I guess I have to get the house sorted then.”
When you two first arrived in this AirBnB a few days ago, it had already been decorated for Christmas. It had a massive tree in the living room decorated with stunning and intricately-themed ornaments. Christmas garlands were wrapped around the stair-bannisters and foliages were placed by the fireplace and the tables.
All you really had to do was clean the place—do a bit of vacuuming and get things nice and neat for Christmas. It didn’t take you too long to do it too. It had only been a couple of minutes since Tom left to do the food shopping and you prayed to the gods that he doesn’t get too much attention whilst out.
You figured you might as well do some last-minute shopping while Tom was out, so you can grab gifts for him as well. After all, this whole thing was orchestrated by Tom and you don’t even have anything to give him for his stockings.
Tumblr media
You arrived at your AirBnB a tad later than Tom. He was in the kitchen putting things away when he saw you walk through the door.
“Ah, I was wondering whether I spooked you with my plan,” Tom commented, making you chuckle and roll your eyes.
“Trust me, I would’ve made it very obvious if you did.” You replied, earning a laugh from Tom. “I went out to do my last-minute shopping. Granted, it’s not ideal since we’re still living through a pandemic, but there’s not actually that many people where I went to considering it’s the Christmas rush.”
You made sure to hide the stuff you bought using the handmade tote bags that a friend gave you for your birthday. No retail bags, no clue. “How did you survive the groceries? I bet it’s busy out there.”
“Yeah, it was.” Tom chuckled, scratching the back of his head. “Remind me to never do that again for Christmas.”
“Sure,” You said, “That is if I spend another Christmas with you.” You said jokingly, hoping that Tom didn’t find that rude.
“You’ll never know,” Tom shrugged. “What if you liked our Christmas this year and you’d be begging to spend Christmas with me and my family in London,” Tom smirked, playing along.
“Yeah, right.” You scoffed playfully, crossing your arms. “If anyone’s begging, it’s going to be you.”
Tom stepped closer, “Wanna bet?” He whispered, a teasing look in his eyes. “Whoever has the most fun during our respective holiday traditions would have to spend the holidays with them next year.”
“Oh, you’re on, Holland.” You took a step closer. “We will both film our holidays for the entire two days and then we’ll ask Ophelia, Alex, and Will to vote whoever looks like they had the most fun.”
“Okay,” Tom nodded “But no editing! We’ll give them raw footage so there are no chances of tampering.”
You laughed but you agreed anyway. “Of course, we’ll give them hours of footage. The least we could do is make them sit through hours of content after they ditched us all alone on the holidays.”
Tom gave a broad smile. “Let the festivities begin.”
Tumblr media
It was the 24th of December—Christmas Eve. You spent the entirety of last night wrapping Tom’s presents for later. Not that you despise Christmas, but it’s been a while since you were actually excited to celebrate it. It was pretty clear that the magic of Christmas dies once you grow up.
Today was different; you were looking forward to whatever Tom has installed for tonight.
You went downstairs to make some breakfast only to be greeted by Tom blasting Christmas music and preparing some ingredients for breakfast in the kitchen.
“Good morning, Y/N, happy Christmas Eve,” Tom greeted with a huge grin. “Say, hi to the camera.”
“Oh, we’re starting this early, huh?” You asked, putting your hair into a loose ponytail.
“Why of course, we have to make the best out of this,” Tom said, holding the camera to your face. “I made you coffee.” Tom handed you a cup of coffee.
“Are you using my love for coffee as an advantage?” You tried to hide your smile while drinking your coffee.
“Obviously not,” Tom feigned his innocence. “I obviously did not know you were obsessed with coffee—it’s not like I don’t see you on set without one.” He mumbled in which you definitely heard, giving him a smack on the head. “Ow! I’m kidding.” He laughed.
You rolled your eyes at him. “So, what’s for breakfast?”
“We’re going to make french crèpes,” Tom replied and propped the camera on the kitchen island, facing the two of you.
“Do you know how to make french crèpes?” You asked, washing your hands.
Tom blinked, almost trying to decide whether he wants to be honest or impressive. “Do you know how to make french crèpes?” He returned the question.
“Oh honey, my mom resents me in the kitchen.” You replied, taking a sip from your coffee. “But you know, I manage.” You murmured.
“That’s giving me a lot of hope, darling, thank you.” He said half-heartedly.
“Shut up,” You nudged him playfully, rolling your eyes. “Tom, honestly, most of the footage is just us bantering for 20 minutes.”
“To be fair, that’s part of the fun.” Tom smiled. “Okay, I think you just mix all of these in a bowl. Start with the dry ingredients first.” He said, looking at the recipe on his phone.
“Okay, that shouldn’t be too hard,” You commented pouring the ingredients into the bowl. As you started all of the ingredients together, you noticed small lumps forming in the batter. “Tom, did you sift the dry ingredients by chance?”
“You were supposed to sift it?” He asked, completely clueless.
You nodded slowly. Panic was now clearly painted on his face. “I’m sure we’ll be fine.” You tried to reassure him.
It was not fine. The first time you two tried to pour the batter in the pan, you burnt the entire thing. It’s not even the cute, lightly burnt crepe. It was activating the smoke alarm-burnt crepe.
The next one was pancake-like. The next one after that had pocket flours on the crepes because you two didn’t sift your dry ingredients beforehand. You ran out of the batter when you two finally got the consistency right—you managed to get one proper crepe from the entire batter.
“I feel like Sam would probably curse me out as soon as he finds out I fucked up a simple crepe,” Tom said, delicately filling the crepe with creme and berries. “My brother’s done so well in culinary school.” He cut a piece with his fork and brought it to your mouth.
“Well, you can’t have everything.” You said taking a bite out of the crepe. “This is better than the last one.”
Tom nodded, taking a bite of it himself. “It’s not as tasty as Sam’s but I’ll take it.”
“Now, I’m curious as to what your brother’s cooking tastes like.” You commented taking another bite from the crepe.
“I guess I’ll just take you home to London to find out,” Tom teased with an annoying grin.
“As long as I’m being fed, I’m fine with it.” You remarked. What in god’s name are you are you two playing?!
Tumblr media
The day rolled by very quickly. It was already evening when you finished wrapping the presents for your friends. You plan on dropping it off tomorrow before you persuade Tom to glue yourselves on the couch for the entire day.
You grabbed all of Tom’s gifts—Christmas stocking included— when you went downstairs, only to be greeted by someone yelling at Tom through his phone.
“I did everything right, Sam. I don’t know why you’re yelling.” Tom yelled back at his phone. His back was turned against you as he was putting away the pots and pans that he used.
You quietly walked up behind him and said calmly, “Why are you yelling?”
Tom probably jumped six feet away from you, making you laugh. You always forget that he gets scared easily. “Holy shit, don’t scare me like that, Y/N.” Tom breathed out, putting a hand over his chest.
“I’m sorry,” You said whilst laughing. “I promise I won’t do it again.” Tom rolled his eyes, murmuring something about you being insincere about it.
“Please do it again!” You heard, whom you assume is Sam, say from the background. You looked at Tom’s phone that’s propped on the island and saw his brothers on FaceTime.
You beamed at them. “Any recommendations?” You asked, hearing Tom groan behind you.
“Well, he hates—”
“This is the last thing I want in 2020, for my brothers and Y/N to conspire against me,” Tom said loudly on purpose, drowning his brothers' voices.
“Tom, don’t be rude. Let your brothers finish—” Tom put his hand against your mouth.
“I’ll call you guys later,” Tom said “Wave goodbye, Y/N.” He used his free hand to grab your hand and forced a wave towards his brothers. The call soon came to an end and you could only roll your eyes at Tom. You seem to do that a lot around him. You also do a lot of that when you try to hide your feelings towards a person you like but that’s beside the point.
“So are we going to have dinner first or are we going to do presents first?” You asked fixing your Christmas sweater, a gift from your parents since you and your family usually wear matching sweaters for Christmas. “Or are you the type to wait until Christmas Day to open presents?”
“We can do the Christmas stockings after dinner tonight, then do the presents tomorrow, if you’d like,” Tom answered with his arms crossed.
You shrugged, telling him it doesn’t matter since you don’t really go all out on Christmas. Your family on the other hand—the house is always full of people, especially since most of your extended family are usually around during the holidays. You had this ongoing game you made for yourself whether or not you’ll be able to greet everyone with the number of people in the house.
You could only guess how quiet your family’s Christmas is going to be. You definitely needed to call your parents later.
“Is the sweater that itchy, Y/N?” You heard Tom ask, breaking away from your thoughts.
“Huh?” You asked, confused. You didn’t even notice that you’ve been scratching yourself subconsciously.
“You’ve been scratching yourself since I saw you.” Tom said, chuckling. “It’s a cute sweater on you.”
You smirked. “That reminds me—I got something for you, Tom.” Tom raised his brow as you grabbed the bag you stashed behind the tree. “Actually my parents got this for you. A little thank you gift apparently for having the tolerance to stay with me over the holidays—as if you had a choice.” You mumbled the last part.
Tom curiously opened the bag and there revealed a matching sweater such as yours. This year’s sweater was green and had red tinsel all over it, probably the reason why you’re itchy. The real kicker is that—
“No way,” Tom gasped “It lights up?!” He asked laughing. It lights up.
“Yeah, I don’t recommend turning that on. I did it earlier and I’m pretty sure I was about to combust—it’s a real fire hazard.” You replied, enjoying the genuine joy that Tom is showing on his face.
“Oh but we have to turn the lights on when we take pictures,” He commented as he put on the sweater. “Thanks, Y/N.” He said softly, surprising you with a hug.
It’s the first real physical contact that you two had ever since that night when you made out and you were pretty adamant that people were just making up this notion of having butterflies in their stomach—they weren’t.
Tumblr media
Tom’s roast dinner went surprisingly well. You kept teasing him that it’s Sam that you had to thank because you knew that Tom wouldn’t last in the kitchen without his brother’s instructions. Tom pouted the whole time. You eventually had to tell him
“It was sweet.” You told him as you helped him clear out the plates.
Tom was confused.
“I don’t think I’ve known someone that went through hell and back just to make a great effort Christmas dinner —even if it means getting yelled at by your brother.” You said, smiling softly at him. “I mean it’s just us two, really. We don’t even have to do this.”
“Think that’s the reason why I wanted to do it,” Tom replied. Now you’re confused. “It’s because it’s the two of us—that’s why I wanted to do it.”
As soon as you heard those words come out of Tom’s lips, you tried your best to stay calm. To say that you weren’t overwhelmed with emotions would be a huge lie. For someone who couldn’t hold their tongue, you were speechless. Tom’s giving you a run for your money and you weren’t exactly thrilled about it.
After dinner, you and Tom opened your stocking presents. The presents were pretty tame at the start—you both got each other socks, which was hilarious but greatly appreciated. You love socks, especially comfy and cushiony ones. You came to learn that Tom does too, which prompted you two to wear the socks immediately.
You got him candy canes, he got you chocolates. You also snuck in those small, in-flight alcohol bottles in there too—which he ended up loving. He got you those 10-pack skincare face masks, in which you let out a huge gasp, making him laugh.
“Oh, we have to use this at some point!” You exclaimed happily “Like, we need to have a spa night—where we just watch movies, doing face masks, eating takeouts. Oh, that’s the dream!” You sighed happily.
“We still have two weeks left till we go back to work, I'm sure we can find the time to do that,” Tom said with a permanent smile on his face, watching you with pure joy made him feel like he accomplished something big.
You got him one of those Instax polaroid cameras—true, it was a bit too much for a stocking stuffer especially since the box definitely stood out against the stocking, but you figured he’ll like it.
“Darling, this is too much but I’m thankful,” Tom commented as he took out the camera from the box. “I can’t wait to use this and keep memories using it—why don’t we start right now?! Let’s take a photo of us and our matching sweaters!”
Tom took a lot of photos of you two, in the end. A couple of overexposed photos, one with the matching sweaters, one with your faces pressed against each other, one with your faces way too close to the camera, and one where he gave you a kiss on your cheek (he asked if that’s okay, of course, you said yes. it’s not like he hasn’t kissed you before— still no conversations about that, by the way). It was a good thing you got him at least 3 boxes of those 20 pack films in his stockings as well.
The real kicker was Tom’s “small” stocking present for you. He got you this dainty, gold necklace with a crescent moon charm. You were pretty sure it was expensive because of the teal box it came with.
“Stop,” You gasped “Tom, now this—this is too much.” You stressed out. “I can’t have this. Nope, you have to return this.”
Tom shrugged as if it was nothing. “You deserve it. Darling, you deserve something nice after this shitty year.”
“Tom, I’m serious. This is too much.”
“I’m serious too, Y/N. Keep it, please. I’d be offended if you don’t.”
After the roller coaster of emotions due to the stocking presents, you gave your parents a call to wish them a merry Christmas. They insisted to do a video call because they wanted to see Tom in the family sweater—which your mom wouldn’t stop gushing about.
“I think your mum loves me,” Tom whispered closely in your ear. He didn't have to try too hard. With the laptop propped up on top of the coffee table, you two were sitting close together on the living room floor—knees touching, maximum close skin contact. CDC would never approve.
“Yeah, I think it’s the accent,” You mumbled jokingly.
Tom moved his head to take a good look at you, smiling. You could feel his eyes burning your skin. Why does he have to look at you like that? Why does he have to be this close?
The initial video call with your parents turned into a whole family reunion when you found out they set up a group call with your extended family. Imagine the dread and fear in your eyes when you heard your one aunt ask,
“Finally, Y/N, is that your boyfriend?”
Your eyes widened as you stuttered to say your defence, making Tom chuckle. You frowned at him and nudged him saying, “Don’t laugh, tell them no or I’ll never hear the end of it.”
“No, unfortunately, I’m not,” Tom replied, laughing. “However, I do believe we make a cute couple, don’t we?” He teased, earning an earnest yes from your mom.
You could only wish for the floor to swallow you whole.
As the clocks rolled to twelve, it was officially Christmas. You and Tom figured you might as well start opening gifts again because Christmas Day is going to be a drag for the two of you.
“Okay, start with this.” You said as you handed him a gift bag. You didn’t give him a lot of gifts for the actual Christmas Day because you went all out on the stuffers.
“Pyjamas?” He asked with a grin. You made a signal for him to give you a minute. You ran to your room and changed into pyjamas.
“Not just pyjamas, Tom, but matching pyjamas!” You exclaimed, laughing. “I saw it and figured we should do this for my day.”
“Sick!” Tom laughed. Tom got into his pair of pyjamas as well and of course, he didn’t forget to pull out his new polaroid camera to take a photo of you two. “Shit, I forgot to film our entire Christmas Eve.” He said as he saw the camera that was still sitting on the kitchen island from earlier that morning.
You shrugged. “I’m pretty sure you’ll win either way. Just that content from the breakfast crepes was enough to secure your place.” You said jokingly.
“All I’m hearing is that you’re going to spend Christmas with me in London next year.” Tom sang teasingly.
“Yeah, maybe bringing you to our big Christmas holidays is a bad idea.” You wondered out loud.
“I like your family,” Tom commented with a smile “and I think they will love having me there for the holidays.”
“That would be a nightmare.” You mumbled to yourself.
The rest of the night dragged on. You and Tom finished the rest of your gifts—you got him a watch, he got you a vinyl player. You two managed to watch the first Harry Potter film before you called it a night.
You were about to head into your room when you heard Tom say, “Mistletoe.”
“Hm?” You hummed, confused. He placed a finger under your chin and gently tilted your head. There you saw a mistletoe hanging by one of the light fixtures.
“How did that even—”
“Can I kiss you?” Tom asked, cupping the sides of your face.
“Hm?” Tom was definitely giving you a run for your money. How can a girl with a speech turn speechless?
“Can I kiss you?” He asked more softly. All you could do was nod. For if you even dare to open your mouth, all of this would cease to exist.
His lips gently touched yours and then soon moulded into one. It was soft, sweet—familiar. His lips were something you never thought about—at least not a lot but you craved it. You crave his lips, his touch, him. You were riding a new high and you thanked every single god that you were sober to remember this—because this, this is something you want to cherish.
“You told me you’re tired of being alone,” Tom whispered against your lips. “You don’t have to be anymore. Not when you have me, not ever.”

Harry Osborn x Alexander!Reader
Tumblr media
Anonymous said: i was wondering if you could do a dating Harry Osborn headcanon but with the reader being Sam's Alexander's twin sis? (usm)
Sam was your twin brother
Unfortunately, being slightly older than you was the reason he got the Nova Corps helmet
And you were left with nothing
But he was still the greatest brother ever
Since the two of you were the only family you had left, you ended up relying on each other very much
But there was always some distance in your relationship because he would go on these amazing adventures with the guardians
And you were left at home waiting for him
But he still tried to make sure that you had a strong bond
You and Harry became friends because you had one thing in common
The fact that you had been abandoned by your superhero friends
Of course, you knew that Sam was Nova so it didn’t feel as bad
You lived with him on the Helicarrier and knew all about his superhero life
But Harry never knew that Peter was Spiderman
So, you immediately felt bad for him
You met the first time because both Peter and Sam were missing from Chem Lab
So, you two were the only ones left alone
So obviously the teacher paired the two of you up
And it turns out, the two of you make a great team
Which is weird because neither of you have an aptitude for it
And that’s how you started talking and eventually spending time together
Harry was really sweet to you
And you always thought he’d be kind of snooty because he was rich
But he’s really charming
Not to mention handsome
The amount of times he’s caught you just staring at him with stars in your eyes
Because he’s
SO
“Like what you see?”
DAMN
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer.”
PRETTY
“Try not to drool.”
And you swear you don’t like him
But sometimes he teases you and leans in and it’s like you can’t breathe
Harry definitely lets it go to his head that you always get so blushy around him
Once he did this thing where he cages you against the wall
And you’re just having a casual heart attack
Sam obviously has his own things going on so he doesn’t really notice
And honestly that kind of hurts you
Harry definitely notices your disheartened face when your twin brother bails on you
Tries and makes up for it but he can’t really fill the void that your brother leaves
He definitely helps tho
And sometimes Harry is like
“I’ve just about had enough of them ignoring us.”
And he wants to give them a piece of his mind
But you always stop him because you know they can’t help it
Unfortunately, though, you and Sam begin drifting apart
And you start relying on Harry more than your brother
Things honestly go downhill from there
When the Helicarrier gets destroyed and sinks, so does your home
While your brother moves into Peter’s place as a kind of team building exercise
You get shipped off to a S.H.I.E.L.D. housing facility
Even though Sam tried to argue with you staying with him
Fury wanted Sam to stay with the rest of the team
And Peter couldn’t house you too
But you couldn’t bear going into the housing facility, filled with agents and no friends
So, when you show up at Harry’s in tears, with absolutely no belongings, he has no choice to take you in
And so, the two of you begin living together
The big kick to the stomach is that Sam doesn’t realize that you’re not at the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility
And he doesn’t seem to care that the two of you are living apart for the first time since your birth
But Harry is such a great housemate
Absolutely the best
Long drives to wherever while either talking or singing horribly to some songs
Late movie nights where he carries you to bed
Studying together on the couch
Cooking together even though he has maids and butlers
And you’re just falling deeper and deeper
It feels like your married even though you haven’t even said that you’ve liked each other
But you both know that you do
There’s a certain intimacy that you have
Like Harry kissing your forehead before he leaves the house
Cuddling on the couch while watching a movie
Back hugs while you wash the dishes even though Harry insists that the staff can do it
Harry is like the protective husband you dreamed about having
At this point, you and Sam don’t even talk anymore
Aside from some mundane chatting in the middle of the hallways
And you’re starting to get over it
Obviously, it kind of hurts
But at the same time, you’re also angry
And this whole time Harry just kind of stands on the side-lines
Watching your brother take you for granted
But the time he loses his temper is on your birthday
He tried contacting him the whole day because he wanted to have a party for you
But neither him nor Peter picked up the phone
When Harry finally surprised you with a gift
Your first response was
“Have you heard from my brother?”
“Uh, no, actually, I tried calling but he didn’t pick up.”
And that kind of hurts because you usually get alerts from S.H.I.E.L.D. whenever there’s a mission so you don’t have to worry about him
But you didn’t get an alert so he was obviously not on a mission
In reality, the team tricked Sam saying that they had a mission
And then rerouting the plane to go to a remote island to celebrate
Completely forgetting about you
And so did Sam
So, you just try and forget and open the present
And there lies two premier tickets to the newest movie
“Harry, I can’t accept this, it’s too much.”
“Nooo, please, I got invited and it’ll be such a bore if I go alone.”
“I don’t know....”
“Think of it as a birthday present to me.”
You laughed
“So, this is your birthday present and mine?? Anything else? Your dad’s birthday too?”
“Actually, let’s mix in our first date with it too.”
And the two of you are in the papers the next day as the newest couple
With pictures of Harry kissing you on the red carpet
That’s how your brother finds out that you’ve been staying with the Osborn’s for 2 weeks now
And Sam tries calling you but you’re honestly so upset that you don’t even pick up the phone
So, he goes over to your place
And you’re not home
But Harry is
And as soon as Sam sees him, he tries to give the brother protective speech
But Harry honestly gets so annoyed
He just punches him right in the face
And all the staff are like ‘le gasp’
Sam is like wtf man why are you punching your girlfriends’ brother
And Harry loses it
Yells at him about how he hasn’t been paying you any attention the past month, left you to live with someone else and basically not even giving him the time of day anymore
And the most important day of your life, the day the two of you were born, he was halfway across the world
Sam finally realizes how neglectful he’s been and immediately feels like crap
Harry tells him to get his act together because you won’t wait forever
Sam listens and goes home so he can figure out how to make it up to you
And when you get home, Harry has a bruise on his knuckles and you’re just like
“What happened?”
“Oh, I fell.”
“On your knuckles?”
“Yep.”
“Okay then.”
The next day you get a call from Sam and he asks to meet you
You’re honestly kind of surprised
And something inside makes you want to reject him
But you get over your spite and pride and agree
When you get to the cafe Sam wanted to meet you, you’re shocked af to find him with a black eye
“Oh, my goodness! What happened?!”
“I, uh, got the lights knocked out of me.”
“By a villain?”
“Sure.”
He apologizes for everything that happened in the past month
And promises to do a better job
All the feel-good brother stuff
And Harry is just so happy for you
So basically, Harry fixed your family relations and became a part of your family
Idk how to end this
The end

character ask: kagami, momoi, alex and himuro 👀👀👀
!!! omg thank u Ceru! u might be one of my favorite mutuals <33 (putting this under a read more just so I can speak at lengths about each individual character)
Why I like Kagami: this is where I sarcastically ask “why DON’T i like him” but that’s literally the next question so; he’s everything i want to be and more. He has the determination and the willpower to make his own dreams come true, he’s gay as shit, he’s tall and buff and well-adjusted, mature enough to live on his own at an annoyingly young age, he’s funny and dumb and a total himbo as well as an excellent advisor bc of how grounded he is.
Why I don’t: I’m... not really good with explosive people. Violent men with loud voices especially scare me, and I’d think I’d flinch around him a lot and that would make me rlly anxious.
Favorite episode: it’s a toss-up between the Seirin fam visiting his place for the first time (is it where Kuroko confesses his love to him and then passes out in his arms? idk), and the onsen episode. I also loved all his plays against Kise and Aomine. AND the training camp w him running a lot in the sand.
Favorite season/movie: season 2 probably because he’s not a jerk anymore, but he’s still on his way to shed off any asshole behavior stuck to him. And I actually liked Last Game?
Favorite line: “There’s no such thing as useless effort.” and “This is our drama and we write the plot.” because he’s so ridiculous.
Favorite outfit: all of his casual fits... comfy but manly is my Jam
OTP: AoKaga....they’re truly soulmates, star-crossed lovers, canonically brought together by fate.
Brotp/otp no. 2: KagaKuro, I love them
Head Canon: I have several collections because I think too much about this boy, but here’s something I think about his family: he doesn’t know what happened to his mom. He never asked, because it wasn’t relevant, and he didn’t want to inconvenience his dad by questioning him. Occasionally, as a kid he felt like he was missing out on something (seeing other kids with their moms, feeling like they’re being treated with much more gentle care because they have moms), but as he grew older he realized that nurturing behavior shouldn’t have been limited to only a mother, and that he was just straight up neglected without any regards to missing a parent in his life.
Unpopular opinion: I never realized this was an unpopular opinion but I’m glad he went back to America at the end of Last Game. Obviously, it’s sad that he had to separate from the others, but I felt like Japanese basketball has always been just a stepping point to him, and now that he’d beat the best of them, it was time to move on. And it also warms my heart that him getting scouted in the US gave Aomine hope to aim big, too. I felt like both of them would’ve felt trapped in Japan with their skill sets.
A wish: I want him to be happy and gay and to confront Himuro and tell him how hurt he was by how he treated him and probably do the same to his dad too
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: ....whatever I’d say Shinsun has probably written it/will write it, but I don’t want him to forget about the GoM just because he becomes a world-famous athlete.
5 words to best describe them: sweet child with anger issues
My nickname for them: not mine (it’s Sypha’s) but “Kags”, Kagami, Tigerboy, Kagababe, Baby
Why I like Momoi: she is SO nurturing and sweet and she cares so much about her boys!! I’m sorry it always turns into “how they remind me of myself” but actually I get feeling like a background character and being the moral/emotional/physical support of those who are more talented or in any way better than you. I feel a strange kind of kinship with her and also,,, feminine girls make my heart stop, and it doesn’t get more feminine than Momoi. Added: Aomine aside, the Touou team wouldn’t worth shit without her skills tbh, and she’s not in any way less than the GoM. Also, I appreciate her being the one person to try to keep their friend group together.
Why I don’t: Analytical People Scare me like!! how do u know stuff people are Unknowable!! I usually am also irked by her pointing out Riko’s breast size but I can just pretend that’s in a gay way (maybe Momoi likes girls with small boobs and she’s just bad at flirting) (also I don’t exactly liked her calling Aomine a “ganguro” but I have too little knowledge on the use of this word to say exactly why)
Favorite episode (scene if movie): uh the one where Aomine made her cry? It really came through how much love she actually has for her friends at that one.
Favorite season/movie: she was great in all of them!!
Favorite line: I can’t remember the exact quote and Google isn’t really helpful either but the one where she made Kuroko promise they’ll always play together or something? Or that they’re gonna beat Aomine?? idk?
Favorite outfit: I like all of them but mostly I just appreciate her wearing so many hoodies, she looks so cute in them
OTP / Brotp: it’s both AoMomo. I feel like the have the most special and strongest bond in the entire series.
Head Canon: She’s never been shown to do, but I feel like she wears Aomine’s clothes a Lot. Also, they definitely have sleepovers To This Day.
Unpopular opinion: Momoi is good at basketball and she loves playing!!! But try being successful in it when ur opponents are Giants and Way More Buff than you are
A wish: I wish people appreciated her more!! Both in fandom and in canon. She’s an amazing person and she has her own skills and strengths that are rarely explored or even mentioned anywhere.
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: her falling out with her boys ;-; I do not want that
5 words to best describe them: strawberry sweetheart to steal ur heart
My nickname for them: Satsuki :> I feel like it’s a little too much to call characters on their first names sometimes but hers is so cute I can’t
Why I like Alex: yet again another woman with an extensive skill set. I love her persistence and again I appreciate getting disillusioned and finding your way back to the thing you love. Also it’s just sweet that she did that by teaching (again, something I can relate to)
Why I don’t: the whole “kissing children” thing rubbed me the wrong way but again, just like Momoi’s obsession with comparing breast sizes, it’s just bad/sexist writing from Fujimaki probably
Favorite episode (scene if movie): adshg any and all where she expressed that Himuro and Kagami are equally important to her <33 that shit makes my heart burst
Favorite season/movie: she only appears towards the end of s2 and in s3 so... I guess s3?
Favorite line: its so Bad that u literally can’t find the iconic quotes of these iconic ladies anywhere but... her story on finding her passion again through teaching kids, and anytime she mentions her fondness of Kagami and Himuro.
Favorite outfit: her iconic olive green coat with the short red shorts... wtf was that I loved it.
OTP: she doesn’t really interact with people her age but I’ve heard she’s shipped with Masako Araki and I’ve seen some seriously good fanarts and like... Yes Good I’d Love To See It
Brotp: I feel like her and Himuro would be that sassy pair that Kagami tries and fails to contain and they get into all sorts of weird, absurd situations asdjs what I’m trying to say is Kagami has to bail them out of jail from time to time
Head Canon: fck me if I’m wrong but she’s the lesbian single mom of the two gay kids she reluctantly adopted from the streets
Unpopular opinion: it’s more like another headcanon, but she can dunk and she taught Kagami how to do it.
A wish: I’d love her to coach the Seirin fam more!! Pls let her be part of her children’s lives (she could also judge streetball games between the goms it would be fun)
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: anything about her being romantically involved with her pupils makes me.................no
5 words to best describe them: Beautiful Beach Blonde Basketball....goddess
My nickname for them: Alex!! sometimes An Icon
Why I like Himuro: em dash Asdgsdj I’m joking, I’m becoming more and more fond of the boy. Once I realized that he shouldn’t have been the “bigger person” in that situation and one year doesn’t really mean much when you’re that young and that hurt, I realized he’s actually a good and hard-working kid and I’m sorry for giving him so much shade. Also I really like his snark and sass, but that might not even be canon at this point tbh
Why I don’t: I’m still sort of irked by him beating down on Kagami because he was envious/mad, but I realized the aspect of that situation that Really got to me was how devoted Kagami still was to him after all that. That devotion was what felt toxic, nothing that Himuro actually did to him.
Favorite episode (scene if movie): the time they met up w Kagami just to exchange a dramatic socially distancing bro fist and a few encouraging words.... gays be Like That
Favorite season/movie: I really didn’t mind s3 Himuro
Favorite line: apparently he’s said some iconic stuff that I don’t remember (and my sources don’t seem really legit) but I’m gonna say “let’s see you become number 1, bro” because again, that’s just so ridiculous and endearing. On one hand he really went from loathing Kagami to rooting for him and wanting him to reach his full potential and on the other, honey ur  like 17 stop speaking like That
Favorite outfit: his knitted V-neck sweaters and the black coat with the white fur.... boy’s got all the fashion sense that’s missing from Kagami
OTP: can I say.....AoHimu asdfh I ship 3/4 of these characters with Aomine what does that say about me
Brotp: KagaHimu. They can be sweet, but I’ve only ever seen Jake write them really well
Head Canon: I’ve been entertaining the idea of....trans Himuro.....
Unpopular opinion: everyone thinks that Kagami is the violent kid and Himuro is the chill, sweet child who’s somehow wound up with this mess of a fiery tiger, but it’s actually Himuro who taught Kagami how to fight and Kagami learned quite a lot of aggression from him
A wish: I feel like Himuro should’ve gotten a separate episode to explore his thoughts, feelings and past. He had so much potential as a character Is2g
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: him quitting basketball would fucking destroy me. I’d be devastated for others too, but it would really pull on my heartstrings if he just dropped the only thing he’s been so passionate about.
5 words to best describe them: gender-non-conforming emo child
My nickname for them: Himu, Tatsuya, Tatsu

Richie Tozier X Reader Headcannons (platonic to relationship)
Tumblr media
💗Pairing: Richie Tozier X Reader
Requested: YES - yoooo, how about some hc's about richie being fucking flustered when they first met reader¿ like idk at this point they are already teenagers or smth and he is known for being derry's heartthrob or something¿
a/n: flustered Richie is an art in itself. Thats all im gonna say. I love writing for my boy. Thanks for the request! Hope you enjoy! (I am so sorry this took so long oh my god)
🔥 Warning: (aged up, maybe 15-16)
Richie being Richie (aka dirty jokes and semi sexual innuendos)
Swear words
Word Count: 1643 (oh my)
Okay
Richie Tozier was like a magnet
To boys and girls alike
“Derry’s heartbreaker” was an earned nickname of his (along with Bucky Beaver and Trashmouth, of course)
He had built a name, as well as a persona for himself in the small town of Derry, Maine
That is, until you showed up
Because… damn
He had never seen someone so pretty hot
(he was one of the only people you had been attracted to within the first couple weeks of moving to Derry and starting at school because he was very nice to look at)
He was in a couple of your classes and the two of you took to staring at each other when the other wasn't looking
And then glancing away really fast so you weren't caught (spoiler, you always caught him)
The problem, however…
He had never really talked to you, minus simple questions about work
He prefered to admire from afar
Very far
Something about you made him very confused
He had talked to so many other girls before
And when I say so many, I mean SO MANY
But yet, he had never had this problem before
he was always so confident, but everytime he tried to string together a sentence around you he could barely get one word out
And for the first little while, you thought it was because he wasn't interested
You had heard of the rep he had built for himself
Some called him a ‘player’
‘Emotionally unattached’
‘Goes from girl to girl’
you figured that’s just the way he was
(Which was a complete disappointment because you found everything about him really attractive)
Like, e v e r y t h i n g
A n y w a y s
You were pleasantly surprised one day, when a boy named Ben Hanscom introduced himself to you and invited you to sit with him and his friends at lunch after the both of you tried to take out the same book in the library
So, the next day, he found you after class and you followed him to met the rest of the ‘Losers’, as he called them
And you almost felt your heart fall out of your body at the sight of the one and only, Richie Tozier, joking with whom you presumed to be Ben’s other friends
And you would not believe how surprised and excited he was when you sat down across from him
He physically had to restrain himself
Stay cool, Richie
“You guys, this is Y/N, she’s in my language class. She just moved here.”
The kids you didn't know started to introduce themselves - Stan, Bill and Beverly
you already knew Eddie from your science class. He had refused to participate in the frog dissection project, almost throwing up before he made it out the door. You didn't blame him. He seemed weak on his knees.
“And Richie, yeah. I’ve seen you around. We have Soc. together”
Remember how I said Eddie was weak on his knees?
Richie couldn't feel his knees
Or the rest of his body
Forget being cool
YOU KNEW HIS NAME
He was screaming on the inside
Beverly was instantly drawn to you because you were a girl
Richie was 50/50 on this
Because HE wanted to be the one talking to you and making you laugh because your face was so pretty when you laughed
But while you were busy talking to Beverly, he had time to stare
According to the Losers, this boy had no feelings whatsoever
But they had started to notice something different about him
Like he was being e x t r e m e l y spaced out
You didn't really notice, as he was always kind of that way around you
Sort of, a less crazy version
You found it strange, as the Losers always told you stories were Richie would do something crazy and it just seemed so unlike him because you had never really seen him act that way
One day, they knew something was up when Eddie said something that would have normally set Richie off into a spur or inappropriate jokes
This was definitely the day Richie realized there was a lot more to what he thought was just physical attraction to you
So Eddie spoke, and braced himself for Richie’s comments
But nothing
“Richie, did you hear what Eddie just said?”
“... mhm”
And then they realized he was staring
Right
At
You
“Richie, s-s-seriously? She's our friend, stop b-b-being such a loser”
“Shut it, Bill. Your a loser”
“Oh my god”.
“You like her.”
He got all red faced and sweaty palmed
“What? No, thats f-fucking - you g-guys, no, uh, no way w-”
“Okay Richie, you’re starting to sound like Bill”
And then everything kinda made sense to them
How he always stared at you when he said something to get a reaction
Or watched you for surprisingly long as you walked away
Or always seemed to walk next to you any time it was possible
And always talked about you when you weren't around
And that's when his friends realized something was actually wrong with him
Like, who was this love struck teenage boy?
They didn't even know that Richie was capable of feelings
He would have most definitely on multiple occasions bailed on asking you out
Because every time he saw you, he was speechless.
He took to staring at you every chance he got
People started to notice that Derry’s resident playboy had suddenly toned down his endless flirting and had stopped making out with new girls every day
No one, besides the Losers, knew why he had suddenly become so different
Him and his friends would stand in the hallway and you would walk by with Bev and holy shit Bill does she always look that pretty? Like I think those legs would be amazing wrapped around m-”
“Richie I swear to god if you don't ask her out, I will”
Richie knew Bill didn’t have the guts
But he also knew he didn’t have them either
He thought you were so amazing
At least that's what he told Eddie
All. the. Time.
And yet he did nothing about it
He wanted to, so bad
But he was worried he would just ruin everything
You, on the other hand, were convinced that the two of you would never happen
The boy had no problem flirting with other girls
But he didn't even really talk to you
you had given up on trying to make conversation with him
as he always got all... weird and awkward
But then Bev convinced you otherwise
She knew Richie liked you and you liked Richie, but she found it much more amusing to not tell either of you
The Losers were kind of sick of it, because apparently it was blatantly obvious that the two of you were i n  l o v e
“No Ben, I’m not putting a note in her locker”
“Fine, I’ll get Eddie to do it for you.”
“Ben, no.”
One thing's for sure, he was a confused boy
He didn't understand how one person could make him feel the way you made him feel
He also didn't really understand why when he saw you laughing with Bill it made him want to strangle himself
Which is exactly what he almost did one day when the you and the Losers were hanging out
He didn't, but he huffed and stormed out of the room with a cheap excuse because in the moment you seemed so much more interested in Bill than you ever would be in him
The Losers took one look and you and Bill talking and knew exactly what was up
You, on the other hand, were confused
“What just happened?”
And Beverly just glanced between you and Bill and suddenly you knew exactly what was up so you got up and headed out after Richie into the hallway
“Richie, what the fuck… ?”
“Y/N, why don't you just go back and hang out with Bill, he probably misses you”.
“What? Richie, what's wrong with you?.”
“Whats wrong with me? What's wrong with you?”
“Wh-”
“I fucking like you, okay? I have ever since I saw you walk into school for the first time and I felt like I was gonna pass out because your really hot, and every time I saw you after that I felt confused and fucked up because I actually really fucking liked you, and not just because your hot but because your funny and nice and deal with me, and I didn't know how to tell you, and it's hard enough to hide that I don't like you when you're practically sitting on Bill’s lap and ignoring me”.
Fuck
That was most definitely not that way he was planning on telling you
You were still trying to process everything when he turned and started to walk towards the front door
“Richie?”
“What.”
“Your hot too. And your funny, and smart, and nice. And if you wanna ask me out, you should go for it”.
And with that, you were gone, back to where the Losers sat in Bill’s living room.
And he followed right after you and spoke right in front of the rest of you friends
“So, what, are we dating now?”
You shrugged and nodded at the same time
“What the hell happened in that hallway?” ( = Stan smacking Eddie as Richie sits down besides you)
And this time, as the night went on, the butterflies he got were good
Because he had finally gotten what he wanted
You.
Final a/n: I hope you guys enjoy this! it is a lot longer than I thought it was going to be lol, which is why it took so long, I just didn't know how to finish it lmao. I hope you like it! 👍🏼 I am accepting requests! please send them in!

Archie's Little Sister: Chapter Five
i>A/N: okay, so a couple of things i would like to mention: i don’t write it out here but i’d like to think that Fred gives Archie a hard time for what he said/did to Alex. I didn’t write it out because there was no where to put it in way that it would make sense to the story. Just keep in mind that Fred definitely gave Archie a horrible time. i also wanted to mention that i’d like to think Cheryl and Alex always fight and argue like Cheryl and Veronica do, i just don’t have any good insults for them to say to one another so i don’t create the dialogue lmao, and last thing, someone made a suggestion but i only fulfilled half of it, if that makes sense? idk man but anywaaayyy I know the last chapter was intense but that was the point! i hope you’re all enjoying.
Warnings: swearing, angst, smut(mild), flashback
No Summary.
——————————————————————————
“Heart of Darkness”
Alex began avoiding everyone. She was still upset. At Archie. Veronica. Betty. Jughead. Everyone. They all knew and kept it from her.
She started waking up earlier than everyone at her house to cook her own breakfast and walk to school by herself.
Archie and Alex haven’t spoken to each other since that night.
She and Fred hadn’t talked about it either. She’s been avoiding him too. She was ashamed.
It was bed time. Alex couldn’t sleep. Archie was punching his punching bag in his room very loud. She was annoyed. She tried to tune him out with music in her ears but that didn’t work.
She heard her dad talking to him.
She got up and stomped to peek her head out the door.
“Dad, tell him to shut the fuck up, will you?” She shouted and slammed the door.
She went back into her bed and hid under the sheets.
Her dad knocked at her door.
When she didn’t respond, he opened it.
He pulled out the chair from her desk, placed it in front of her and sat down.
“What’s going on?” He asked.
“I can’t sleep. Stupid Archie is being too loud.” Alex muffled.
Fred sighed.
“Alex, this has got to stop.” Fred got to the point.
She didn’t say anything.
“You need to move on.” Fred tried to get her to talk again.
He got up and pulled the sheets of off her. He held them and sat back down.
She glared at him. “I don’t want to move on.”
“Then you’re never going to be happy.” He shrugged. “Then Archie’s going to be unhappy, and i’m going to unhappy. Do you want that?”
“Yeah, i want all of you to feel my pain.” She hissed as she snatched the sheets back from her dad.
When she got them, she covered herself again. She didn’t put them over her head again. Instead, she turned around so her back was facing him.
He sighed. “Come on, Alex. It’s been weeks. Don’t you think you should forgive Archie?”
She scoffed and sat up to look him in him in the eye.
“Are you kidding me right now? He’s an asshole. He doesn’t deserve to be forgiven. He’s fucking selfish, like mom. He always will be.” She snarled.
“Come on, he feels really bad.” Fred tried to reason with her.
She scoffed once again. “Of course you’d be on his side!”
He groaned. “Stop it.”
“No. He can go to hell for all i care.” Alex said laying back down to her first position.
“Alright, i know you didn’t want to talk about it, but i do. Why do you feel so betrayed?” He finally asked.
She shut her eyes in frustration.
“I confided in him with a secret and he ratted me out.” She sat up again.
She tried being discreet as possible. He already knew what it was, but he decided to skip that talk.
“Secrets have a way of coming out, Sweetie. you know that.” Fred responded.
She scoffed. “You know, i do everything for Archie. Every fucking thing. I lie to you for him, i cover for him, i help him with his music, which i supported when no one else did. this one thing, the ONE THING i asked for him to do for me, and he couldn’t. Tell me that’s not selfish.”
Fred didn’t say anything.
She took a deep breath.
“He called me a slut, dad. All because of that old ass teacher that he was trying to defend.” She angrily said.
She tried holding her tears back. She had been crying about it for weeks. She was done.
“I swear if you didn’t hold me back, i would’ve killed Grundy right there and then. I literally tried to protect and in return i got betrayal and slut shamed.” She chuckled humorless.
“Stupidity runs in the family.” She continued.
She got up to go to the bathroom. When she opened the door, she saw Archie eavesdropping.
She scoffed and pushed him out of her way.
“Alex—” He was cut off by her slamming the door.
He sighed.
Fred came out of her room.
He shrugged. “I tried. This is your mess, you fix it.”
Archie sighed once again.
Fred patted him on the back as he walked back downstairs.
Archie had been trying to apologize for weeks but Alex kept ignoring him. He asked his dad to talk to her but now he realized he’s got to do this on his own.
Archie went back into his room and thought about how he would get Alex to forgive him.
He agreed with everything she said. He feels horrible about the whole thing. He wishes he can go back in time.
——————————————————————————
It was the next day. Everyone was at school. The gang tried talking to her but she ignored them.
She didn’t even go to the meeting Betty needed her in. She wanted to see the murder board but she figured she’d look at it another time.
She was sure that Betty or Archie had told the rest of them about her and Jason.
She didn’t care anymore.
She went to her classes and minded her own business. Everyone tried to talk to her but she would walk away.
During lunch, she decided to go to the bleachers to avoid seeing them in the lunchroom or outside.
Too bad they had the same idea.
Alex was at the highest point of the bleachers while they were at the bottom.
Alex minded her own business and blasted music through her headphones.
She saw them glancing over to her every once a while but she didn’t let them see her.
She saw Valerie approach them. Well, Archie. She saw her slip something into his jacket pocket then she got up and left.
Alex rolled her eyes.
Then Cheryl approached them. She was inviting everyone to Jason’s memorial. Alex felt like shit. She knew she had to go but she didn’t really want to. They all knew about Jason so they felt weird talking about him now.
Kevin glanced over to her and noticed she had been there the whole time.
“Oh, hey, there’s Alex.” He said as he turned around and walked over to her. Alex tensed up.
“Hey, Grouchy.” He ripped an earbud out of her ear.
Everyone looked at them.
“Don’t, Kevin.” She rolled her eyes.
He was taken back. “I didn’t know either, you know.”
She looked at him. “What?”
“Yeah, and i mean i don’t really care. Archie and i aren’t that close. But i get why you’re mad.” He gave her an understanding nod.
Her eyes soften. “It’s not just that, really.”
“I know.” He gave a half smile.
Then she saw Veronica get up. She walked over and sat right next to Alex, leaving her between Kevin and Veronica.
Alex sighed heavily.
“You can’t stay mad at us. Come on, We miss you. And Archie feels really bad about the whole thing.” Veronica nagged.
Alex scoffed. “Good. And all of you should know that i can hold a grudge for a very long time. So leave me alone.” She hissed as she got up and walked away.
Alex walked back into school. She was speed walking and crashed into Cheryl, making her drop the invitations she had in her hands.
“Jesus, watch where you’re going, Brows McGee.” Cheryl quickly reacted.
Alex sighed. “I’m sorry.” She bent down to grab the invitations for her. She got up and gave them back.
Cheryl smirked. “I didn’t see you with the gang.”
“I’m not talking to any of them.” Alex muttered.
Cheryl ran her tongue over her teeth.
“Well, since i didn’t see you, i didn’t give you one of these.” She handed out an invitation for Alex.
Alex grabbed it. “Thanks, i guess.”
Cheryl nodded.
“I’m sorry, Cheryl. About Jason. I know this must be a tough week. But we don’t have to go at it with each other right now. I can be there for you.” Alex offered.
Cheryl sighed. “I suppose we can post pone the fighting until next week.”
Alex smiled. She genuinely felt bad for Cheryl.
“I’m having a sleepover. You should come.” Cheryl invited her.
Alex furrowed her brows. “Uh, okay, sure.”
She wasn’t expecting that.
“Great!” Cheryl squealed.
“When?” Alex asked.
“The night before the memorial.” Cheryl smirked and raised a brow.
Alex gave her a look.
“I don’t want to be alone the night before i bury my brother.” Cheryl answered her to her facial expression.
Alex nodded. “Alright, i guess.”
“See you then.” Cheryl said as she walked away.
Alex proceeded to go to her class.
——————————————————————————
It was dinner time.
Alex was catching up on some homework in her room.
Fred began knocking at her door. He entered when he saw that his door wasn’t closed all the way.
“Hey, sweetie.” He greeted.
“Hi, dad.” Alex said, not looking from her text book.
“I could use help with dinner.” Fred hinted.
Alex scoffed. “What? Archie bailed on you?”
Fred sighed. “You are not a second choice.”
She rolled her eyes. “Aren’t I?”
“Come on, stop being stubborn and help me with dinner.” Fred tried convincing her.
She scrunched up her face. “I am not cooking for Archie or his hussy.”
Fred was confused.
She finally looked up at him. “Oh, you don’t even know, do you? He’s got one of the Pussycats in his room right now.”
He walked out of her room and went to Archie’s. He left her alone for the rest of the night.
——————————————————————————
It was the next day at school. Alex got more annoyed by the minute. She hated everyone and everything.
She didn’t want to be mad at Archie anymore but she couldn’t help it. Whenever she thinks about him, she wants to cry.
She missed him. She couldn’t admit that. But she was struggling. She hates the tension around the house. She hated having to ignore him. But he deserved it.
She missed the gang. Playing detective with Jughead and Betty. Jughead. She missed him the most. She missed putting Veronica in her place when needed. But also the girl talk with her and Kevin. It was exhausting for her to be mad with so many people, but again, she couldn’t help it.
Cheerleading helped with her emotions sometimes but it was getting harder to avoid any of them.
During the end of practice, she decided to go to the bathroom. She didn’t want to run into Veronica or Betty on the way to the girl’s locker room.
She stayed inside a stall for 15 mins, on her phone.
When she finally got out, she noticed Veronica and Archie sitting on a bench in the hall.
Veronica walked away, glancing back at him.
Then Alex noticed the bandage on his hand. She gasped and rushed over to him.
“Archie! What happened?” She asked with her tone full of concern.
He froze as she sat by him and inspected his hand.
“You’ve got to be more careful, this is your playing hand.” She said, tightening the bandage.
She finally glanced at him.
“What?” She asked.
“Y-you’re talking to me..” He stammered.
Her attention went back to his hand. She sighed. The bandage wasn’t on right so she decided to fix it.
“I guess my anger was wiped out clean as soon as i saw your hand.” She forced a chuckle.
His eyes softened. He didn’t deserve her, he thought.
“Alex..” He began. She cut him off.
“Don’t, Archie.” She warned him as she continued to take care of his hand.
He sighed. “Why won’t you let me apologize?”
She didn’t look at him. “I already know what you’re going to say.”
“‘I’m sorry, I wish i never said that, i didn’t mean it, i wish i can take it back and blah blah fucking blah..’” She trailed off as she mocked him.
He smiled. He missed her humor.
“I’m just not ready to forgive you, Arch.” She shrugged and finished putting the bandage on his hand.
She looked at him.
“Just hear me out.” Archie pleaded.
She nodded.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me. You’re not a slut. I shouldn’t have said that. And i shouldn’t have mentioned the Jason thing in front of everyone. I’m an idiot and i didn’t realize how much you do for me. I don’t mean to take you for granted. I love you, you’re my baby sister. All i should be doing is protecting you, not insulting you and making you feel like shit. I’m just sorry, man. I miss you. I wish there was another way to say i’m sorry for you to actually believe me.”
Alex scoffed as she knew what he was going to say.
Although, there was a difference between knowing it and then hearing it.
Her eyes blurred as they filled up with tears.
“It’s not just that, Arch. You didn’t tell me about Grundy. You and everyone else lied to me. And the fact that you thought what she was doing to you was okay..”
Archie cut her off. “She wasn’t…”
She glared at him. He sighed.
“I don’t want to fight with you anymore. But i went after her.”
She scoffed. “You can’t be serious.”
“I didn’t tell you because i was scared of your reaction.” He admitted.
She sighed heavily.
“I’m sorry.” He apologized once more.
“I want to forgive you, Arch.” she sniffled. “I just can’t.”
“Then don’t. Just talk to me. Please.” He begged.
She nodded hesitantly.
He went in for a hug to which she returned.
“I missed you too.” She whispered.
They pulled apart. Alex wiped the tear that sneaked its way down her face.
She felt obligated to apologize to him as well.
“Uh, sorry I pushed and slapped the shit out of you.” She chuckled.
Archie smiled. “Don’t be. I deserved it.”
“Oh, good. Then i’m not sorry.” She laughed.
He laughed with her. “I missed this.”
She smiled.
“Now,” she sniffled. “What the hell happened to your hand and why did you bandage it so terribly?”
He laughed. “Veronica did it for me. And I, uh, fucked up. I didn’t mesmerize my plays and i kept getting distracted.”
Alex chuckled. “Why am i not surprised?”
She took a deep breath. “So, Val?”
He sighed. “So, Jughead?”
She let out a stifled laugh. “I’m not even speaking to him. Besides, i think he’s more into Betty.”
His brows raised. “So you do have a thing for him?”
She scoffed. “Tell anyone and i’ll deny it.”
He chuckled. “Uh, yeah, Valerie has been helping me with my music. She’s really sweet. Super pretty.”
She saw him blush. “I don’t approve but if she’ll make you happy, whatever.” she shrugged.
He laughed. “Come on, let’s get home.”
“Actually, i should probably stop by the Blue and Gold office. Betty needed me earlier and i blew her off.” Alex said as she got up.
Archie nodded. “I can wait for you if you want.”
She shook her head. “It’s fine, i’ll just see you at home.”
He nodded once again. “I’m gonna work on your forgiveness, Alex.”
She smiled and rolled her eyes at the same time.
“Love you, Arch.”
“Me too.” He chuckled.
Then she walked away.
She walked into the office but only saw Jughead there. She was debating whether to say something to him or not.
His back was facing her, so she didn’t think he’d notice she was there.
She turned on her heel and walked towards the door, but Jughead heard her come in.
“Why didn’t you tell me about Jason?” Jughead asked, turning around to face her.
She paused. She turned back around so she was facing him.
“Two can play this game: Why didn’t you tell me about Archie and Grundy?” He crossed her arms across her chest.
“I’m done playing games with you, Alex.” He scoffed.
“What games?” Her brows furrowed. “You lied to me about it and you didn’t say anything when i asked you millions of times.”
He scoffed and walked up to her. “It was none of your business. It wasn’t even mine.”
She let out a humorless laugh. “Okay then, whatever went on with Jason and I, is none of your business.”
He didn’t say anything.
She tried walking away but Jughead grabbed her arm.
“Stop.” She hissed as she tried to take her arm back.
He didn’t let her go.
“Come here.” He whispered.
He yanked her into him and roughly kissed her.
She pulled away, in shock. She stared at him.
Moments later, she kissed him back. Hard and longingly.
She put her hands through his hair, causing his beanie to fall while he pulled her closer by her waist.
He gently backed her up, not breaking their kiss and lifted her on top the desk she was against.
She moaned into his mouth as she felt the cool desktop hit her thighs.
His hand made its way to the side of her neck, his thumb running along her jawline, while her legs were around his waist.
Finally, Alex realized what she was doing and pulled away.
“No, stop.” She said while her breath hitched.
His brows furrow. “Why? What’s wrong?” He said as he tried to catch his breath.
She pushed him away gently and hopped off the table.
She sighed. “You’re not going to manipulate me. I’m still mad.”
He scoffed. “I would never do that, Alex. I’ve been wanting to kiss you since the longest.”
She shook her head. “We can’t, Jug.”
“But why?” She swore his voice almost break.
“I need a break.” She whispered. “I’m sorry.”
She looked at him and his eyes were glossy.
“I still love—”
“Don’t say it.” He raised his voice.
She looked down at her feet as her eyebrows furrowed.
She noticed Jughead’s beanie on the floor and picked it up.
She offered it to him. He took it.
He ran his fingers through his hair before he put it on.
Such an endearing sight.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered once more before leaving the room.
——————————————————————————
It was the night of the sleepover.
Alex didn’t know Cheryl invited Veronica. She wasn’t exactly pissed but she didn’t plan on talking to her until tomorrow.
They were having dinner with Cheryl and her family. There was tension. The Blossom family never had a problem with The Andrews. Half of them were red heads. But everyone’s a suspect of their son’s torture-murder case.
She could tell they didn’t want Veronica or Alex there.
Alex wasn’t even sure they wanted Cheryl there. Their own daughter.
They all began eating. It was awkward. To Alex anyway. They all seemed pissed.
Alex just kept to herself while Veronica tried to be nice.
Cheryl’s mother and father, Clifford and Penelope, subtly insulted Veronica. Alex thought it was best not to say anything.
Alex observed both of them. They were very mean and uptight. Cheryl’s grandmother was also at the table but she didn’t say much.
Alex kept awkwardly glancing at Veronica while she did the same.
Dinner ended. The girls decided to go back to Cheryl’s room.
“You can guys can get changed. I’ll just be a minute.” Cheryl gave a small smile before she walked out.
Alex raised a brow. Veronica nodded and smiled back.
“Is it just me or were her eyes glossy?” Veronica asked as she zipped down her dress.
Alex shrugged. “I mean tomorrow is Jason’s memorial, so.” She trailed off as she took her jewelry off and put them in a small purse.
Veronica sighed. “So are we cool, or what?”
Veronica slid the dress off and threw it to the side.
Alex looked at her and rolled her eyes.
“Yeah, i guess.” She exhaled.
Veronica looked at her. “I’m sorry, okay? Next time Archie does something stupid and I know about it first hand, I’ll tell you.”
Alex chuckled. “Good.”
Veronica didn’t bother to take her jewelry off and put on a blue, satin top and shorts.
Alex scoffed. “Why do you and Cheryl insist on being so fancy?”
Veronica shrugged as she grinned. “Its a lifestyle.”
Alex proceeded to take her shirt and jeans off. She brought her favorite black, baby doll dress and put it on.
Veronica scoffed. “And you call me fancy.”
“I don’t like sleeping with pants on so i went with a dress instead.” Alex chuckled as she shrugged.
Veronica nodded.
The girls proceeded to get ready for bed.
Veronica was tempted to ask about Jason. When she was about to, Cheryl came back and she was dressed in her sleepwear as well with her eye makeup slightly messy.
She had a bottle of Vodka and a couple of small glasses in her hands.
“This is for later, as soon as the ‘rents are asleep.” She smirked as she lifted the goodies to show the girls.
Veronica and Alex smiled.
She set them down at her night stand. There was a book.
“What’s that?” Veronica said as she sat down on Cheryl’s bed.
Alex joined her.
Cheryl sighed. “It’s a photo album. It has a bunch of Jason’s pictures in it.”
Cheryl picked it up and sat on the bed with the girls.
Alex was nervous. She hadn’t seen him in so long.
She opened the book and there were baby pictures at first.
Cheryl told the stories behind most of the pictures. They were short and to the point but nonetheless cute.
The girls giggled and chuckled as she turned the page. There was a huge headshot of Jason right away.
Alex looked at it and sighed. Veronica noticed Alex’s mood but didn’t say anything.
Cheryl smiled.
Her smile was full of sadness.
Veronica’s eyes softened. She looked at the photo.
“I hope this isn’t weird, but Jason was crazy handsome.” Veronica began.
Alex rolled her eyes.
“The handsomest.” Cheryl insisted. “Something tells me he would’ve liked you.”
As if.
Alex sighed.
“Why did you invite us tonight?” Alex asked.
Cheryl’s mood changed.
“Yeah, why not Tina or Ginger? Aren’t they your besties?” Veronica added.
“And yet, that night at the pep rally, after I had my panic attack, you helped me.” Cheryl softly said. “Not them.”
Veronica nodded.
“And you,” Cheryl turned to look at Alex. “help me choreograph the squad. Everyone says my moves are a joke, but you help me make them better.”
Alex gave her a small smile. Cheryl sighed as looked down at the book.
“Cheryl,” Veronica began. “You’re allowed to say goodbye to your brother.”
Cheryl looked back up at Veronica and Alex.
“But, why does it have to be..” Veronica got cut off.
“In front of people?” Cheryl finished for her.
“Yeah.”
“Everything with Jason’s been so..” Cheryl paused as she tried to find the right word to explain herself. “Public. Everyone had an opinion. Has been gossiping. Saying he got what he deserved or that he didn’t. I just.. I want everyone to know that i’m..”
She paused. “I’m sorry.” She continued. “And that Jason deserved a… A better family than what he got.”
Alex looked at her dolefully.
“Then do it.” Alex interjected. “I’ll help you. We’ll help you.” She glanced at Veronica to which she responded with a nod.
“And let Penelope and Clifford Blossom do their worst.” Veronica smiled deviously.
“Oh, they will.” Cheryl muttered. “They’ll kill me.”
Both of Veronica and Alex’s eyebrows furrowed. They shared a look.
“They won’t. We’ll see to it.” Alex reached over to hold her hand with her own. Cheryl gave a small smile.
Then she perked up. “Enough of this.”
She got up and put the book back in it’s place. She grabbed small cups and gave each of the girls one. She then grabbed the bottle of Vodka with a smirk.
“Shall we play a little game called ‘Never have I ever?’” Cheryl said.
The girls smiled.
“You just love games, don’t you?” Alex asked sardonically.
Cheryl laughed in response as she opened the bottle and poured some into their cups.
“Alright, ill start us off.” Cheryl put the bottle back on her nightstand and sat back on the bed.
“Hm..” She tapped her fingers on her chin as she pretended to think. “Never have I ever gotten to 3rd base?”
Both Cheryl and Veronica drank up. Alex didn’t.
“What? Lies!” Veronica nudged her. Alex chuckled as Cheryl giggled.
“No, i’m not lying. I swear.” Alex grinned.
Cheryl narrowed her eyes but then shrugged. “Your turn, V.”
Veronica stopped to think for a second. “Never have I ever hooked up with someone I barely know?”
Alex scoffed and drank up with Veronica while Cheryl didn’t.
“Boo.” Cheryl said bored.
They laughed.
“You’re no fun!” Veronica teased back.
Cheryl chuckled. “Your turn, little Andrews.”
Alex sighed.
“Never have I ever made out with Jughead Jones.” She suddenly blurted out.
The girls paused. They shared a look while Alex chugged the rest of her drink.
“What?” Veronica let out a small laugh.
Alex finished her drink and wiped her top lip. She was breathing heavily, seeing as she chugged for 2 minutes straight. She felt slightly tipsy.
“Uh, yeah..”
“Details! Now!” Cheryl screeched.
Alex sighed as she recalled the memory.
“I went to the Blue and Gold office earlier today and he was there, and we kissed..” She shrugged.
“That’s it?” Cheryl scoffed.
“Yeah, what initiated the kiss? How did you feel? Are you guys together now?” Veronica asked.
Alex’s head began to spin.
“Uh, I don’t know, it just happened, and i felt great honestly but I didn’t feel so great after. Aaand, no.” Alex answered.
“Wait, why?” Veronica’s brows furrowed.
“Ugh, i blew it.” Alex whined as she put her hands over her face.
“What happened?” Cheryl asked as she thought about the worst thing possible.
“I told him I needed a break. From relationships.” Alex muffled.
Veronica gasped. “Idiot! Why would you do that?”
Alex sighed as she got up the bed, frustrated with herself.
“I don’t know.” Alex groaned as began to pace back and forth. “Because I do? I really regret it now. Now all i want to do is be with him. But i blew it.”
Cheryl smirked. “Or maybe you didn’t.”
Veronica grinned. “Yeah, just tell him that you weren’t thinking straight and you want to be with him.”
Alex scoffed. “It is not that easy.”
Veronica groaned. “Yes it is!”
“He’s totally smitten with you. Just talk to him.” Cheryl agreed.
Alex groaned once again. “Why am I so stupid?”
She threw herself on the bed.
Veronica giggled. “You’re not. You just thought it was best at the time. But it’s okay, he’ll understand.”
Alex nodded. They continued their game for a few more minutes but then started getting ready for bed.
They all slept in Cheryl’s bed. It was big enough.
Alex was nervous about tomorrow but she knew she had to pull herself together.
——————————————————————————
It was morning. The girls got ready for the funeral.
Alex put on a black, tight, short dress. The top was strapless with sheer long sleeves.
They heard people coming in already.
She was doing her makeup when Veronica went to check on Cheryl.
“You ready?”
“Just about.” Cheryl said barely above a whisper. “You go ahead. I’ll be down.”
Veronica nodded and walked out.
Cheryl turned from the mirror to face Alex.
She finished applying her lipstick. She looked at herself once more and stood up.
“Ready to do this?” Alex asked, looking for reassurance.
Cheryl nodded.
——————————————————————————
Alex walked downstairs. She looked around for Archie.
She saw Jughead and Betty. She got past her awkwardness and approached them.
“Hey, guys.” Alex greeted through a sigh.
Betty smiled “Hey, Alex. You’re not mad anymore?”
Alex shook her head. “No. I’m over it.”
“I’m really sorry, Alex.” Betty apologized. “About everything.”
“It’s fine.” Alex offered a small smile. She glanced at Jughead who hasn’t said a word since she approached them. “Uh, sorry i blew you off yesterday. How is everything going?”
Betty sighed. “You have a lot to catch up on.”
Betty explained the whole situation.
“Shit, Betty. I’m sorry about Polly. I’m glad she’s okay.” Alex sympathized.
“Me too.” Betty smiled lightly. “And if you don’t mind, we’d really like you to join us again.”
Jughead tensed. Alex noticed.
“You made solving this case easier.” Betty continued.
Alex nodded. “Of course.”
Betty brightened. “Thank you! Um, we’re actually going to snoop around Jason’s room later. You should come with, help us look for something. Anything.”
Alex nodded. “Okay. I guess i should’ve asked yesterday since i spent the night here. I could’ve easily gone into his room.”
Betty’s eyes widened. “You spent the night? With Cheryl?”
“And Veronica.” Alex nodded.
Betty scoffed. “Oh well. See you later.”
Alex nodded as she saw her and Jughead make their way to their seats.
Alex felt sad that Jughead didn’t say anything. She was sure Betty was going to ask him.
She spotted Archie and greeted him. Valerie was with him. She rolled her eyes.
“Hey, how was the sleepover?” He went in for a hug. She returned it.
“It’s was okay. Pretty fun actually.” Alex chuckled.
He did too. “I’m glad.”
“How was your night?” Alex asked.
“It was fine, i guess. Couldn’t sleep.” He said as he stared at the huge picture of Jason.
Alex turned around to see what he was looking at.
“Yeah, me too.” She forced a chuckle.
“Hey, Alex.” Valerie forced a chuckle. She noticed Alex trying to ignore her.
“Hi.” Alex said uninterested.
Alex walked away into her seat, next to Kevin. She heard Archie apologize. She scoffed softly. He sat next to her with Valerie following. She ignored Valerie while she talked to Kevin.
Alex noticed Jason’s jersey in his hands.
“Why did you bring that?” She whispered.
“It’s for Mrs. Blossom.” Archie said as he scanned the room looking for her.
He found her, got up, and offered his condolences along with the shirt.
Everyone turned around as saw Penelope stroking his cheek and hair.
Alex furrowed her brows and scoffed.
He returned to his seat.
“What the hell was that about?” Alex said as she kept glaring at her.
“Did she just touch your hair?” Kevin asked in disbelief.
Archie shrugged. “She misses him. I don’t blame her.”
“That was really sweet what you did.” Betty commented behind them.
“She deserves it. More than I do.” Archie insisted.
Alex rolled her eyes.
Veronica walked up to them.
“Days like today really put things in perspective, huh?” She said with a hushed voice.
She proceed to sit in front of them. “I mean, at least we’re here. At least we’re alive.” She turned around.
The memorial began. Cheryl walked down an aisle, wearing what she wore the day Jason went missing.
Alex smirked. She helped her get dressed and went over Cheryl’s speech a million times before she came down.
Everyone was murmuring and whispering. They were shocked.
“Oh, my god.” Veronica’s jaw dropped.
“Yes.” Kevin fiercely said.
“I helped her.” Alex blurted out as she kept her eyes on Cheryl.
Everyone turned to look at her.
Alex grinned at the look of her parent’s faces.
Cheryl began speaking, which made them turn back to her.
“Welcome to Thornhill.” Cheryl began. “Thank you all for coming.”
“If you’ll kindly take you seats.” Cheryl gestured with her hand. “I’d like to start the memorial with a few words about Jason.” She continued as she took her gloves off.
Penelope tried to stop her, but Cliff held her down. She turned to look at Alex, who seemed pleased with herself.
“You are only making things worse.” Veronica whispered to her.
She glared at both of the girls. Then she turned back around.
Cheryl proceeded with her speech. She mentioned that the last time she saw Jason, she was wearing the dress she was in. She swears she feels closer to him when she puts it on. She mentioned that even though they were twins, she demanded to have her own birthday party. Until one year, Jason convinced her to combine their parties. She didn’t know why at the time but years later, she realized. It was because no one wanted to go to hers. And Jason didn’t want her to know. Her voice broke as she also mentioned that Jason protected her every single day.
“I wish, that day at the river, I had protected him.” She sobbed.
Alex got up. Archie tried to stop her but she didn’t let herself.
Cheryl turned to his casket. “I’m so sorry, Jay-Jay.”
Cheryl sobbed. Alex held her.
“It’s alright, Cheryl.” Alex assured her. “I can take it from here.”
Cheryl moved to the side as Veronica also stood up and consoled her. Alex walked to the stand and cleared her throat.
“I think what Cheryl is trying to say is that Jason will always be apart of her. Dead or alive. She has so many memories of him that she’ll hold on to forever.” Alex choked up.
She was saying the speech for Cheryl, but Alex felt these things too.
“Cheryl,” She turned to her. “Mr. and Mrs. Blossom, Jason will always be in your hearts. He will always be protecting you.”
Cheryl was still sobbing softly into Veronica’s shoulder.
Alex walked back to her seat, getting questioning looks from everyone.
A very pissed off Penelope walked up to the stand.
“I think we’ll adjourn now to the Winter Salon for a light supper.”
She tried her best to smile and walked off.
Everyone stood up.
“What the hell was that about?” Archie whispered.
Betty pulled Alex to sneak off with Jughead upstairs.
“I’ll explain later.” Alex whispered back as she walked off with them.
“We have to be quick.” Betty whispered as they ran up the stairs.
Jughead opened the door softly.
The door was creaking.
He began to walk in with the girls following.
Alex started feeling nostalgic. She remembered the few times Jason snuck her in.
The bed they slept in. Fucked in. Cuddled in.
The many arguments they had here and in the graveyard.
Her first time…
Jason sneaked into his house, with Alex following. It was way past midnight. They spent all night making out in the graveyard. But Jason had other plans tonight. He tiptoed up the stairs with Alex doing the same. She giggled as they made it to his room.
They started kissing again. Sloppy and rough.
Moments later, Jason tossed her on his bed. He crawled on top of her with her shuffling nervously under him.
He put his hand on her hip and continued to kiss her.
He pulled away. “You’re so hot.”
Alex smiled. “You’re not so bad yourself.”
He chuckled.
She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him again.
He pulled back once again and took his shirt off, revealing his very defined body.
Alex’s heart began to beat fast.
“Uh,” She nervously began but got cut off by Jason kissing her.
He trailed his hand down from her hips to her thigh, then went up her skirt.
He pulled her underwear off. She gasped.
“D-do you really think that’s a good idea right now?” She stammered.
He smirked. “It’s a great idea.”
She pushed him off. “I-I don’t really want to, Jason.”
He scoffed. “What? With me?”
He laid down beside her.
“I kinda want to wait.” He shrugged.
“No, be honest, is there something wrong with me?”
Alex’s brows furrowed.
She stroked his cheek. “No, you’re perfect, i just don’t think—”
“Then why won’t you have sex with me? It’s been weeks, Alex. I need you.” He crawled back on top of her and started kissing her again.
She got nervous but decided not to fight it anymore.
He licked his lips as his hand proceeded to touch her folds. She felt uncomfortable.
He chuckled. His middle finger found her clit and started rubbing it. She let out a quiet moan.
“You can be louder, my parents are out on a business trip.” He said in amusement.
Alex scoffed and hit his shoulder playfully.
“Then why the hell did you sneak me in?” She chuckled.
“I didn’t want to wake Cheryl.” He shrugged as he kissed her neck. She moaned once again.
“Then shouldn’t i still be quiet?” Alex whispered.
“No, Cheryl knows i have girls in and out of here.” Jason said without giving it a thought.
He instantly regretted it when Alex scoffed and took his hand out from under her skirt and pushed him off while she got up.
“Girls in and out of here?!” She raised her voice.
Jason groaned. “Babe, don’t do this.”
“What the fuck do you take me for, Jason? Am i just one of the random girls you bring in and out of here?” She asked as she got more angry at the thought of him being with other girls.
“You told me you were done with that shit, was it a lie?” Her voice broke.
He got up and pulled her into an embrace.
“No, it wasn’t. I didn’t mean it like that, baby, i’m sorry.” He began kissing her.
She tried pulling away but couldn’t resist him.
She finally pulled away. “No, stop it.”
“Come on, i’m sorry.” he whispered as he continued.
He sat on the bed and pulled her on to his lap.
“It’s only you, okay? Only you.” He kissed her along her jawline.
She was still pissed.
Jason put his hand back under her skirt and felt that she was wet. He started rubbing her clit again.
She moaned as his finger quickened.
He continued for a few more seconds until he lowered his fingers to her entrance, dipping his finger in ever so slightly.
She braced herself for pain as she knew where he was going with this.
He pushed it inside of her, smirking at her reaction.
She cried out loudly. She felt a mix of both pain and pleasure.
“Just relax..” Jason instructed as he kissed her neck. “It’ll start to feel good soon, i promise.”
She nodded as she placed both hands on his shoulders.
It took a few more strokes before he finally hit the spot she needed him in to make it feel good.
She gasped loudly and began moaning continuously. He picked up the pace a little bit, but it wasn’t enough. She started riding his finger.
He felt her inner walls clench his finger and it was turning him on.
She noticed his giant bulge and moaned louder even at the thought of it inside her.
She gripped his shoulders as her eyes flew shut. “Holy shit.”
He grinned. “Right there?”
She nodded as she let out a breathy moan.
“Are you close?” He asked, quickening his finger.
“Yeah.” She whimpered.
He took out his finger and sucked it clean.
“Why did you do that for?” She whined as she stuck her head in the crook of his neck.
He chuckled.
“Because I want you to come on my dick.” He simply stated.
She got nervous all over again.
Before she could say anything, he flipped her over and settled between her legs again.
“It’s okay, it’s no different than my finger.” He insisted.
She let out a stifled laugh. “Uh, I disagree. It’s much.. bigger and longer..”
He laughed. “Which is why it’ll make it better.”
He kissed her neck as he unbuckled his belt and jeans.
She helped him. She pulled them down as far as she could, which was enough for him.
She decided to say 'fuck it’ and just go along with what he wanted. Although, she was still shifting nervously under him.
She started playing with his member, pumping up and down. He exhaled through his nose.
“You’re a natural.” He chuckled and went in for a kiss.
She smiled.
He pulled back. He reached over to his night stand and pulled out a condom. He opened it with his teeth, rolled it on and threw the wrapper to the side.
He got back in position. “If it hurts too much, let me know, and i’ll stop.”
She nodded, feeling super nervous now.
He noticed her breathing differently. Quick.
“Hey, it’s okay.” He consoled her. “It’ll feel good, i promise.”
He caressed her cheek. She nodded once again.
He put his hand one her hip while his free hand guided himself into her. She gasped loudly as she felt him inside of her.
He paused for a minute to kiss her and let her adjust.
“I’ll go slow.” He assured her.
“Okay.” She whispered as she braced herself once again for pain.
He pulled out slowly, and began rocking his hips back and forth.
She whimpered at the pain. Jason mistook it as 'pleasuring her.’
After a couple of more strokes, it started feeling good. She started moaning out of pleasure now.
He sped up a little, biting his lip as he tried to hold back his moans.
He went deeper, hitting her sweet spot, making Alex cry out loud.
“Shit, did i hurt you?” He quickly stopped and looked at her.
They were both breathing over each other.
She shook her head. “No, that actually felt really good. Keep going.”
He smiled and continued. “Where was it?”
Seconds later, he found her spot again. She started moaning louder.
He was close but held off his orgasm to try and finish her off.
“Oh, fuck. Please don’t stop.” She moaned as she gripped the sheets.
He grinned and went faster. Not too fast, he didn’t want to hurt her.
She kept gasping and moaning. Her face turning into a dark shade of pink.
With every stroke, he was getting closer and close to his orgasm.
“Are you close?” He asked breathlessly.
“Yeah, just go faster.” She gasped.
He obliged, making her moan louder than she ever had that night.
He stroked one more time. He felt her tighten as she let out a loud cry, seeing stars.
She was gasping, feeling the ecstasy.
He smiled.
Once she felt herself come down, she felt Jason’s thrusts getting sloppier.
He lowered his face into the crook of her neck, grunting and his breath quickening.
She kissed his neck and tried meeting his thrusts by moving her hips.
Eventually, he paused and let out a loud groan.
She smiled. He stopped completely with his breath still hitching.
He crawled off and fell beside her. He took the condom off and disposed of it.
He pulled his pants back up, but didn’t bother to buckle or zip them.
They both laid on his bed, gasping for air.
Jason broke the silence. “Was it better than my finger?”
Alex chuckled. “Way better.”
He got up and kissed her. His hand made its way to her neck to hold her face.
“I love you.”
Alex smiled. “I love you too.”
“Is it me or did the temperature just drop like it does in horror movies?” Betty asked.
Alex snapped out of her flashback. She went back into reality.
She nodded. “I felt it too.”
“That’s just the icy chill of the dead.” Jughead responded as he scanned the room.
Betty noticed Alex acting a bit strange.
“Are you okay?” Betty asked.
Alex nodded.
Jughead was concerned but didn’t ask.
Betty approached the bed. “Where does a teenage boy hide things?”
Jughead bent over to check under the bed. Alex looked around his shelfs.
“Under the mattress, maybe in the drawers, behind the headboard, in the closet.” Jughead began listing.
Jughead walked over the bookshelf and checked the bottom of it.
Betty looked through his drawers.
Alex crouched down to look under the mattress.
“Hello..” A familiar voice suddenly said.
All of them turned to face the voice and gasped, nearly jumping out of their skin.
“Fuck.” Alex whispered as she clutched her chest.
Jughead hid behind Betty. Alex glared at the both of them.
They saw Cheryl and Jason’s grandmother approach them.
“I’m so sorry, we were just leaving.” Betty began to apologize.
“Oh! It’s you.” The old lady exclaimed. “How lovely to see you again.”
Alex’s brows furrowed.
Betty and Jughead seemed very confused.
“Come closer, I wanna get a good look at you.” The lady reached for Betty’s hands.
“The horror.” Jughead repeated in Betty’s ear.
Alex’s jealousy grew by the minute.
Betty curiously approached the lady.
“Come closer, Polly dear.” The lady insisted.
Betty was taken back. She glanced at Jughead and Alex. They shrugged.
Betty sat on the small couch in front of Jason’s bed.
“It’s nice to see you again, too.” Betty played along. “I’m sorry it has to be under such terrible circumstances.”
Alex slowly stood up and walked over to them.
“Well, of course you’re not wearing it.” The lady whispered. “God bless.”
“Wearing what?” Betty asked.
“The ring, Polly.” The lady casually said.
Betty was in shock. Alex began breathing heavy. She felt an anxiety attack coming at her.
The lady went to explain that the ring is a family heirloom, while Betty half listened. She glanced at Alex, where she saw her sitting on the bed, not breathing very well.
“Jug, go..” Betty whispered.
Jughead grew concerned once again and helped her with her breathing.
“I-I can’t..” Alex wheezed.
“Let’s go.”
He lifted her off the bed and into the hall.
After a few minutes, her breathing slowed down.
She felt her eyes fill up with tears.
“H-He was going to marry her..” She sighed heavily.
“What?” Jughead agitatedly asked.
A tear streamed down her face.
“Oh, my god.” She whispered. “I’m so stupid.”
Jughead’s eyes soften. Alex began sobbing.
“No, you’re not, Alex. You’re okay. You’re fine.” Jughead tried to calm her down.
“He used me.. H-he took.. advantage of me..” She wailed quietly.
Jughead went in to hold her. She sobbed into his chest.
“I’m so fucking stupid..” She whispered.
Jughead held her tighter.
He pulled back and gripped her upper arms.
“Listen to me,” He began. “He’s the stupid one, okay? He knew what he was doing. You didn’t. It’s okay, Alex.”
She quieted down. She began inhaling and exhaling.
Jughead pulled her back into his chest to hold her.
“Jughead, i’m so sorry.” She whispered.
He nodded. “It’s okay.”
He held her for a bit longer before Betty came out of the room.
“Alex, are you okay?” She asked with her eyebrows furrowed.
Alex nodded. “Just a small breakdown.” She forced a chuckle.
“What did she say?” Jughead asked, dying to know.
Betty sighed. “Apparently, Jason proposed to Polly. He took the family’s ring and gave it to her. Penelope doesn’t even know..”
Jughead nodded. “I sort of figured.”
Betty zoned out, looking at the ground.
“Hey,” Jughead reached out to wrap him arm around her shoulder. “Are you okay?”
Alex tensed up.
Betty nodded. “Just a little shaken up.”
He nodded.
Eventually, they all headed back downstairs.
Archie was nowhere to be found that time.
She decided to go home, since she wasn’t feeling all that well.
——————————————————————————
They had school the next day. Everything didn’t seem the same after Jason’s funeral.
It all seemed sad and mournful.
Alex finally met Betty and Jughead at the Blue and Gold office.
She was taking a look at the famous murder board as Betty explained what went on after she asked her dad if he knew that she was engaged to Jason.
“Wait,” Alex paused. “Why is my picture and name here?”
Both Jughead and Betty paused. “U-uh, you were a suspect at some point.”
Alex’s eyebrows furrowed. “What?”
“Yeah,” Betty shrugged. “Because of your 'affiliation’ with him.”
Alex scoffed and kept observing the board.
“Guys,” Betty groaned. “I feel like i don’t even know who my parents are anymore.”
“Betty,” Jughead began. “if your parents lied about Jason and Polly,” He walked over to the murder board. “there’s probably more they lied about.”
Betty turned around and walked over to them.
“What do you mean?”
“Your dad said he would do anything to protect Polly.” Jughead continued.
“So the next logical question is…” Jughead trailed off.
“How far would he go to protect her?” Alex finished for him.
Jughead nodded.
“Jughead,” Betty began. “whoever broke into Sheriff Keller’s house and stole all his evidence wasn’t at the drive-in.”
“Shit.” Alex whispered as she realized where Betty was going with this.
“My dad wasn’t at the drive-in.” Betty continued.
Jughead sighed. He wrote their names on a note card and gave it to Betty. She pinned it to the board.
Alex huffed.
“I know this is what we’re all thinking,” Alex groaned, not wanting to say what she needed to. “But I think we need to talk to Polly ourselves.”
They nodded.

Bulletproof (ch. 1)
OK SO REMEMBER WHEN I GOT PROMPTS AND THEN D IDNT DO THEM? this is why. this absolute frankensteins monster. I just. I had this human!au in my head, and… now it’s a thing. A very long thing. With a plot… help. @velocifoxy @idk-and-idc-and-idr
Descrip: Slow burn (not super slow to start w/ but it gets slower. Like. Really slow.) suuuper hurt comfort, probably gonna get nsfw in the future because. I hate writing easy things apparently. (There’s a one night stand implied that m i g h t not be the best decision the characters ever made. This does get addressed in another chapter, but not this one) really a lot of awful angsty metaphors that go on like 3 sentences too long I’m sORRY
Pairings: Logince (eventually lamp but… yknow. slow burn.)
TRIGGERS: Alcohol mention, emotional abuse, rebound, bad break up, poison/gun mention, v brief murder mention, gets a tiny bit nsfw at the end (they don’t even kiss, guys, Roman is just a big flirt who maybe makes bad decisions sometimes)
Prompt: From @killerfangirl3 “I’m bulletproof, just don’t shoot me”
They say if you take little bits of poison everyday for years, you could one day be immune, if those little bits didn’t kill you first. Unfortunately, the same isn’t true for love.
Roman staggered out of the party early, words ringing in his ears. “Convenient.” That’s all he had been. “Convenient.” A step up to bigger things. He was famous, but not famous enough. Rich, but they had wanted richer. Soft, when they wanted useful. The casual voice over champagne clinking. “You didn’t think it meant anything, did you? People like you. Now, they like me! It was convenient to-” Roman winced at the memory. He had to move. It was near midnight, and pouring rain, gold from the streetlights playing on every drop as they fell. His jacket and umbrella were inside, but his wallet and phone (dead, probably) still sat in his pocket, so he cut his losses, stepping out from under the porch of the grand, old house, still glowing with lights and people and noise. He though little bits of love would be okay. But it never worked like that. He couldn’t just do a little. It was less like saying to take small doses of poison everyday, than it was getting shot everyday. The only way to be really bulletproof was to never hand someone the gun …He didn’t know where he was going. His dress shoes didn’t have the same satisfying click on soaked pavement as they did on marble or hardwood. His hair was flat, and clinging to his skull. He didn’t feel anything. So he kept walking.
He wasn’t sure how long it took, but when sensation returned, it came in the form of being cold. Then his feet hurt. Looking around, the only light on was shining from a dusty looking store front. He doubted anyone would be open at that hour, but the crash of heavy rain was weighing on his senses, and his last stitch of self preservation pushed him to the door. It swung open with a halfhearted jingle from a rusted bell. At first, he couldn’t see anyone. Every wall seemed to be covered in books, as well as much of the floor. He could hardly see the ceiling, but the shelves went past where he thought a regular ceiling ought to be and then some. Stacks of ancient creaking leather bound tomes, dog eared paperbacks, and bent, stained hardcovers nearly covered every inch. It looked less like a store and more like a… hoard. Roman stood dripping on the doormat in utter awe, until something moved in the back of the shop. Sure enough, a face was poking out from around a bookshelf. The man had large black glasses pushed up onto his forehead, making his hair spike in every direction. He had red marks on the bridge of his nose from wearing them too long, and was blinking at Roman like he’d just woken up. “Oh, uh give me a moment.” He extracted himself clumsily from what must have been a desk at some point and unfolded from a leather chair he’d been sitting in, adjusting his tie and putting his glasses back on their perch. “Alright. My name is Logan, what are you looking for tonight?” He was still rubbing sleep out of his eyes, his clothes crumpled. Roman was so shellshocked by the sight he nearly forgot to answer. He felt his cheeks grow red from more that just the cold. “I- uh- I’m not looking for anything in particular, I’m just… Browsing.” He willed the man to leave it at that, he could pretend to look at books, warm up, call a taxi and go cry into his pillow without being recognized by a cute clerk at a weird bookshop. Logan squinted at him from behind the glasses, taking a step forward. Roman flinched instinctively back, shoulders bumping the glass door. /this is it, he’s going to recognize me, tell a some news site and get a picture as I run off or something. ‘Local star now local washed up wreck…’/ “Are you sure? We usually only get people looking for something specific… we only really have older, out of print books that people value as collectors… Sir? Are you alright?” The clerks voice had nothing but honest curiosity turned concern as he walked closer. Roman realized his eyes where still closed tight, waiting for when he’d have to run. He opened them to find Logan much closer too him, inspecting him with a worried face.
/he’s cuter up close… wait no don’t do that bad idea/
“uh. Yes. Yes, I’m fine.” “No, no you’re not. Your teeth are chattering. Follow me. Try not to get any books wet. If you have to, drip on the romance novels on the left. They never sell anyways.” The clerk turned on his heel and walked further into the shop. “You could also go back into the rain, if you want, but I would recommend accepting help. You look freezing and probably lost, and nothing else around runs this late.” Roman shrugged. 'Local star murdered by weird book seller’ sounded better than 'local star found frozen solid on side walk’ anyways. He followed Logan back into the shop. Two large bookshelves split the space in two, creating a doorway between them into the rest of the room. A rickety wooden staircase disappeared into shadows at the very back. To Romans right was what could almost be called a parlor, a large, deep leather sofa sat facing several cushy armchairs covered in fading fabric, separated by a low coffee table. On his left was a workshop of some sort, incredibly tidy in contrast to the rest of the store, a bright desk lamp shone on a thick, dusty book, which lay naked with its leather cover to one side. A number of tools stood like a row of soldiers to one side. Roman let himself be ushered onto the sofa, which reminded him exactly how sore his feet were. He let out a sigh. It might have been a terrible idea to crash at a random collectors book store because the sofa was comfy and the clerk was cute, but after a night like his it was danm tempting. Logan was mostly quiet as he moved about the space, up and down the stairs to fetch things, leaving Roman to his thoughts. He stared into space, trying not to think them, until something warm wrapped around his shoulders. He looked up to see Logan pulling a wool blanket around him, tutting under his breath. “It’s never a good idea to soak yourself to the bone like this. It’s going to take a while to warm you up.” Roman nodded dully, remembering how much of a mess he must look. /that’s probably why he doesn’t recognize you. The longer you stay the more you’re risking…/ he ignored himself, watching Logan move around the space. His shirt, already rumpled, was pushed up past his elbows, showing his arms. His hands and his slacks were covered in ink stains that Roman hadn’t noticed at first. The wool blanket smelled like peppermint. Maybe that’s what Logan smelled like.
He was too tired for attractive strangers, he decided. He was heart broken, metaphorically and literally lost, who cared if he wondered if attractive nerds smelled like peppermint or not. He settled further into the couch, wrapping himself in the blanket like a cloak. /you’re so screwed./ his brain whispered. /so very very screwed./ The stairs creaked, and Logan came reappeared carefully balancing two steaming mugs. He set one down in front of Roman, then lowered himself into the chair and blew on his mug. When Roman didn’t reach for his immediately, he held eye contact and raised an eyebrow pointedly. Roman sighed and sat up, peering into it suspiciously. “It’s hot chocolate. It’s not going to bite you.” “I know what it is! I was just-” the eyebrow again. “Fine, fine. I’m drinking it. Happy?” Logan hummed and Roman tried not to burn his tongue. It wasn’t good hot chocolate by any means, but it was hot. And vaguely chocolate. So it helped, at least a little. They sat for a while, until both cups sat below half, and Roman had a pleasant glow in his stomach. Logan set his mug down with a decisive clack. “So. Talk.” Roman immediately stiffened, and Logan backed up, running a hand through his hair. “You don’t have to tell me everything, or anything at all, really, but you clearly had a difficult night. I’m not sure what else you need right now, and some context would be appreciated. Besides.” Logan leaned back in the chair, eyeing him. “I don’t usually get that many mysterious customers on the nightshift, surprisingly. I’m curious.” Roman felt his cheeks heat up again, and scolded himself for being so happy for the attention. Most people assumed they knew everything about him. It was nice to feel… interesting, in a normal way. /whatever./ his brain muttered bitterly. /he’s probably just curious about the weird, wet idiot on his doorstep. You look horrible, anyways. Any chance at 'charming stranger’ was ruined ages ago./ he sighed, and cleared his throat. “I… bailed on a party.” That was true, technically. “I…” /say anything/ his brain urged. /you don’t need to tell him how pathetic your night was. You didn’t ask for his help/ “I had a pretty bad break up.” /really?/ his mind was screaming. But Logan just winced sympathetically. “That must have been difficult… do you… would you like to talk about it?” Every instinct in his head told him not to. But he felt… warm. Safe. “I… was seeing some one who… was after something specific. After …they got that, I was unnecessary.” His voice sounded small and broken in his own ears, despite him trying to keep it steady. When he found the courage to look up, there was no pity or disgust in the other mans eyes. “That sucks.” It was the most casual he’d been all night. Roman couldn’t help laughing.
The terror of telling things like that to strangers returned somewhat after that, and the conversation moved on to lighter things. Mostly about Logan. He found out Logan slept upstairs, for convenience sake, and that he worked part time as a substitute English teacher, when he wasn’t restoring books. Logan tapped his fingers on his chair like he was playing a piano when he was thinking. Logan snorted when he laughed, if you could get him to do it. Logan didn’t think he was very good with people. Romans eyes were raw from crying, but he felt like the full effect of the night hadn’t even started to hit him. It was terrifying. Almost everything was. Tomorrow morning felt like some kind of deadline. Some kind of cliff.
Fortunately, it wasn’t tomorrow morning yet. Logan coughed politely, bringing him out of his thoughts. “As nice as this is,” ('he thinks it’s nice!’ Part of him said. 'Shut. up.’ said a larger part) “my shift is about to end.” Romans heart sank. “Do you have a place to stay tonight?” Logans voice was soft, almost… nervous. Romans heart was on a danm rollercoaster. “I… technically, yes.” There was the eyebrow again. “Technically?” Bile rose in Romans throat. “I would… rather not go back in this state, but I do have somewhere to go. If you lend me your phone I could call a cab-” “No! -I mean.” Logan cleared his throat, less gracefully this time. “That’s not necessary. You can stay here. If you want, that is.” This was familiar ground. Roman could feel his feet under him as Logan got more and more flustered. “And who’s bed would I be sleeping in, exactly?” Roman knew he was grinning at this point. “Uh- t-there’s a spare couch upstairs, I suppose you could have my bed if you-” “Not quite what I meant, gorgeous.” Roman pulled himself up off the couch, and stalked over to the armchair Logan was sitting in. He was close enough to see the other man swallow nervously. Getting no signal to back off, he planted both hands on the arms of the chair, caging Logan in, and waited for him to make a move. Throw him out, or… One of Logans hands grabbed the back of his neck. “I suppose” he muttered, pulling Roman towards him “I wouldn’t mind sharing.”

re: voltron s5-8
- Ah, yeah, there were a lot of plot holes and unbelievably convenient coincidences going on to keep the story rolling. But I’m not going to be talking about that just because there are so many and it’s the type of thing you must handwave to enjoy the show and I’m okay with that.
- Lotor family drama was pretty great. I’m glad we got the great, horrible filicide/patricide battle. Like, damn, it was great. And Lotor lighting the pyre at the Kral Zera was also very hype. Still not as great as him terribly rejecting Haggar/Honerva. I’m not sure all of these threads were seen to the best conclusion given how hype they all were individually, but I’m in general pretty glad with the way Lotor’s villainy happens and gets revealed to the crew. The honest feelings and affection for Allura getting flipped into ‘if you won’t go along with what I say, I’ll kill you’ was pretty frighteningly believable to me.
- Axca’s endless roulette of deciding who she’s going to align herself with today was also pretty great. I like that moment when her, Ezor, and Zethrid all are like ‘okay no’ to Lotor’s mad rambling and try to bail. Quality.
- Haggar/Honerva might be my favourite character in this canon though (competing with Lance and Coran) I like how competent she is, and how much we see of her personally struggling with the changes in her psyche after being affected by the quintessence. The choice to change her back was really excellent, and I love what it brought out in her, and I hope we get to see a lot of her in the final season.
- Monsters & Mana episode was really amazing. I’m sad it wasn’t the real Shiro playing - but it was still so IC and so fuckin hilarious that he kept on playing Paladin. Best episode.
- Gameshow episode was also good - Pidge’s run of the minigolf course in particular. But it can’t really compete with Monsters & Mana. A low point of it for me was Keith choosing Lance simply because he didn’t want to get stuck with Lance for eternity. Cold bro.
- The timey wimey stuff wasn’t too bad, but it was one of the contributors to what I felt was pretty uneven pacing. I kind of feel like we should have seen some of the stuff with Romelle and the stuff with Keith and his mom and the space wolf first hand, instead of rushing through a lot of it and then presenting the rest of it in flashbacks.
- Not so much the moment everyone was talking about, but The Black Paladins was really emotional in the end. idk like, as frustrating as it is seeing Keith be terribly reckless and consistently willing to sacrifice himself to save Shiro and everyone else, I do feel like it had payoff in the final scene of the episode. hit me hard for those times my teachers/coaches stood up for me. Yeah, Keith- if only you’d stop giving up on yourself.
- Uh, bruh, Earth isn’t in the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy. It’s all the way over to the side on the edge of the spiral. You guys seem to be headed in the wrong direction.
- This show really be overestimating how much I care about the extended Holt family. I think it got off on the wrong foot with the kind of overemotional bait & switch regarding Matt. But there’s also the issue of Pidge getting really reckless and inconsiderate whenever they’re threatened and putting them above everyone else which is... very real and understandable. But at the same time it’s kind of frustrating to watch, especially when the first thing I know about them is they make Pidge act this way before I’m given any reason to know or care about them.
- And I know it’s really just a coincidence, but how Admiral Sanda was handled really rubbed me the wrong way, especially how the other woman she’s (unintentionally?) juxtaposed against is Coleen Holt. Like, first you have this dutiful mother and wife who waited on Earth for 3+ years for her husband to return and she doesn’t stray at all and welcomes him back and supports him in every way he needs. And then Admiral Sanda is this woman who’s actually has rank and power and she’s constantly being vilified and told she’s unfit for her position by all the men working around her. And these are the heros and villains in Sam Holt’s story. When I think about it, there might not be a single woman on this show who’s actually at the top rung of the leadership hierarchy who’s not misaimed or evil. And, yeah, that kind of bothers me a bit. I mean, obviously on an in-universe level, Sanda is a pill. But on a meta level- You get to her death scene. And that she’s, like, the only person who the show actually lets die on screen in the fight to save Earth, as part of some death equals redemption arc... Like, it’s unrealistic and idealistic how many people didn’t die on this show - and that’s fine bc idealistic kids’ show - but Sanda is an acceptable target. If only she had listened to the men who were her intellectual superiors, boo hoo. It felt really obnoxious to me all around.
- Allurance lost some points with me. I still ship it, which is more than I can say for about 90% of the other relationships for this canon/fandom, but I’m decidedly more meh about it now. I know Lance is just a teenager and all, and it’s not out of character or something I couldn’t see happening, but the narrative going along with stuff about how ‘none of the other girls are like her, she’s just so speshul’ is the kind of thing that irritates me. As for Allura responding to Lance’s feelings - it was believable to me given a lot of the pieces that were put in place - but I think more time should have been devoted to following Allura’s feelings and thoughts through the whole of season 7, both in regards to this ship and otherwise. I see why other people say it felt rushed.
- And Axca/Keith is a cute battle couple, you guys are just bitter.
- Buuut, I totally think ppl have reason to be bitter. I don’t know exactly who all was responsible. And I know the creators apologised, and I don’t think they should have had to, necessarily. But, at the very least, some of the marketing decisions here were queerbaiting. The show has gone out of its way to market itself to its lgbt+ audience and fans and has created a lot of hype around Shiro and the show being gay aaaand, we got some subtext, a dead ex-boyfriend, some evil lesbians, and two strongly hinted het ships with the show’s major cast. Yeah. Even though I like those het ships, I get the bitterness.
- And... I think there’s a marked difference between the way the narrative treats Adam and the way it’s treated the other Paladin’s loved ones over the course of the show. Like, god, we’ve gotten so much of Pidge’s family drama. We got a whole episode of Pidge crying over Matt being dead when he wasn’t even dead. We got a lot of Hunk trying to come to terms with not being able to see his family at the Garrison this season. We got quite a bit of Veronica this season, and have touched on Lance missing his family since season one. Keith got several episodes about his mother and the lead up to and effects of his father dying. Coleen Holt waits for Sam Holt to return from space. But with Shiro we get this breakup and then Adam dies and it’s brushed over in a couple of minutes? Like, I’m not saying Adam shouldn’t have died necessarily, or that Shiro’s relationship with Adam shouldn’t have been on the rocks. I’m just saying it’s hard to really divorce this from the fact that the relationships straight ppl have are societally valued so much higher than the relationships lgbt+ ppl have, and this show isn’t really disagreeing with that in terms of what it continues to show us. And, like, I’m not angry and don’t really care all that much, like- I stopped looking for mass media to validate me in this way a long time ago. And I prefer to see myself represented in media through angst as opposed to nice, happy relationships anyhow. But, like, I’m tired of hearing that people /shouldn’t/ feel upset or betrayed by this, lmao. Like, yeah, there are totally valid reasons for people to feel that way. And it’s not like feelings even need to be validated to be there and deserve respected anyhow, smh.
- But, yeah, I’m serious. I’m over the moon about Ezor/Zethrid and I love them so much more than I could have possibly loved any heroic gays. I hope we get a lot of them being their wonderful selves and living to tell the tale next season :’)
- Hunk/Shay is also still good and quality.
- Also, this isn’t really a failing of Season 7, so much as just my preference but- I kind of wish the show hadn’t moved back to Earth. Because one of the major draws the show has for me is the weird alien culture exploration aspect of it. Without that it’s just kind of one string of ‘intricate plans to overthrow Galra -> intricate plans fail and the enemy seizes the upper hand -> heroes come through with a way to take back the upper hand -> enemies come up with a way to seize the upper hand back’ and so on and so forth in a ridiculous escalation of who can turn into the biggest dumbest giant robot and save the day from arbitrary time limit the fastest. And, like, I realise a lot of fans are here for the giant mech battles but I am so not. So I hope we get away from the ultra militant save earth stuff soon and get back to weird worldbuilding shenanigans soon <.<;;

august 13. 2017 3:22 am (dont get frustrated on the time of day u wake up, bc opportunity happens when you let it) somedays its mornings, some its nights don judge
wow wow wow wow
this night
who would have fucking known bro
who would have fucking known. if you were to tell me id be hanging and partying with the elites of fucking african drumming in san francisco, i would have laughed at your face. I went to see Ash today at Dolores and he looked handsome as fucking always, love that pure earth and self loving soul. he is the absolute greatest, and maria met with us and she poured out everything she is overwhelmed and stressed about, it was a bit draining but out of all things I'm glad i got to be a soul to comfort her when she needed it. she invited us to a party on south vaness and 23rd and at ashlin was gonna go but he was tired so he bailed, and we just walked to the party smoking a joint with sage and flowers. when we got there i was a bit uncomfortable bc i knew no one and it was like i was her puppy following her every move bc i felt uncomfortable and shy. but i got to talk to a few people and got out of my shell, it was nice, and oh my god i asked to go to the bathroom to maria and she said she was gonna walk me but then go talk to her friends and i was scared bc i would have been left alone but i accepted it and when i walked out the hall was empty but when i was walking to the bathroom there were these two nice guys and i just waited in the hall not knowing what to do and the guys were in the room and I'm not sure how the exchange went but i ended up conversating with them. we introduced ourselves and oh wait i remember i think i saw them play with the bongo and look at it and i said do u drum and josh (cute blonde muscular tall african crazy drummer) said yes do u and i said yes but drum set and he said me too and we talked so much and he was hyping me up so much and so was the other guy they were so fun we talked a lot about drumming and joshua makes his own drums and drum heads its so nuts and then this guy comes in and it takes a while for us to introduce ourselves but we finally meet and the other guy hands me th drums and i play a little but at first i did a paradiddle and joshua freaked out he boosted my self esteem for sure he's such a great guy and said wow she's fire and i played around jesse (guy he introduced me to) and joshua and the other guy and they freaked out and said wow u better watch it or doors might open up to you and just crazy compliments like theres fire inside me and it was so nice and while i was playing softly they were all talking about how in that business u need connects more than anything- people who know people- and joshua and i really bonded and he pulled me aside and mentioned how he only dreamt of playing like these guys when he was indiana and now he's in the same room partying with them and he mentioned how jesse goes back and fourth to africa and might live there . we pull aside and and dance and drink some wine UGH PERFECT NIGHT and then sometime goes by and now these guys are drumming their souls off and I'm on the side dancing my soul off and we are all just vibing and everyone is having a good time and good energy and crazy african hatian dancing and drumming its inspiring its like i like these adult san francisco parties more bc its inspiring and i meet people who are wise and talented and sweet and off their phones and in the vibe rather than younger college students drinking and trying to get with you.i want to be an african hatian dance and drumming queen! we all took turns summoning the spirit of the african dance and drum and i was shy but the sweet girl next to me insisted it was my turn and when i went i went fucking crazy it was insane i was jumping everywhere and my hair flipped everywhere it was so good and felt amazing and i couldn't stop the drumming was too good and was summoning my spirit and then i danced so much and then they took a break and then jesse got up and went straight to me to hug me and said sorry I'm sweaty and i said its good sweat its drumming sweat and he laughed and we talked more and he said i remind him of some mystical creature and i wa so shocked by the compliment and then said its beautiful when the dancers and drummers vibe off each others energy and was jus saying so many things and people were so nice i love this group i love where I'm at and he drummed some more and i danced some more and at first i was vibing with joshua but i leaned more towards jesse in a way bc just how he talked and how joshua basically put him on a pedestal by saying he's an inspiration to him when he was all across the fucking country and i just thought wow I've always wanted a thing with a musician, jazz but holy fuck hatian drummer are u kidding me. and he said he liked how  i dance and at the end of the night joshua said he liked how i dance - he could tell i understand the drum beats and how i picked a beat to dance to, he just understood. after the second round of dancing me and jesse got to really talk and know each other, but he kind of swiped me from joshua bc originally i was getting up with joshua bc he said lets drink more wine and jesse came and i got carried away with him, we went into the next room and talked a lot. he was also rlly nice, saying I'm so interesting bc i mentioned i was getting into guitar playing in texas and piano in the yoga society and drumming too and he was just like wow ur so interesting, u just do everything and he's so right. i was told so many compliments. we were so engaged in talking that he spent a while trying to find another ride home bc he wanted to stay as long as i did. we talked a lot more and i was just getting lost in his soul. just another level when you're so passionate about vibrations that u went school for it and made a career out of it. i see a light in him that he dims bc he admitted he was ashamed of spending so much time on something, he isn't fulfilled, he wants “a real job” and gave examples like plumbing and mechanic. jesse is cute. he had cute style. when we walked out to drop off his drums he wore a cute khaki windbreaker with his cute khakis. his hair is so big. girls were playing with it and pushed him against the wall. oh on the second round of drumming i played! he sat next to me and i went fucking crazy! i was doing some really fast paradiddles and going so fuckking good! i stole the show! joshua was so nice and said if i wasn't at this party he wouldn't have gone to the next one, or have left. that i was basically the life of th party. he was being just so fucking nice. and that I'm going to take over- that he's glad to see the next generation take over. he has afucking hatian drumming magazine ! and gave the analogy of thrasher- and fucking praised me for skateboarding- he was like - u dont skateboard. he's so nice he made me feel so good and gave me the confidence i needed. anyways hesse and i walked backup stairs and he was holding me and it felt so good- i could help but be open about it- i was like wow that feels so good that you're holding me like that i like it and he entertained that and kept doing it and it felt so fucking nice omg i wanted to make out with him, i put myself against the wall and went to kiss him but it was weird i went back and fourth like 3 times with my head it was a bit awkward now that i look back at it but at the time it was cute bc he said we should probably go up and respected me by not kissing me there i think- giving it more time- bc I've made mistakes on kissing guys too soon and it ruins the magic.... and we went up and before that he really praised me too- he said I'm really grounded- to my roots- its  good to see someone like that and i told him I'm glad he thinks that bc i just did meditation on grounding and its good to know its showing - wow these guys talk so smooth i love it- now this is my kind of fucking party man. when me and him were talking i saw joshua go back and forth looking at us and i felt bad but when we went up stairs i went to the restroom then walked out and caught him and joshua together and heard joshua said well we both have good taste and they looked at me and i feel like they were talking about me. it was soo good. on the third round of drumming i was in between jesse and joshua- joshua sat closer to me and we jammed! i showed them the beat i came up with on the bongos when i was on my way to colorado and everyone freaked out it was doc crazy! maria said it sounded like water or glass shattering i didnt hear to well and joshua totally freaked out and said i got some fire and how he could have never came up with that and how he sees potential in me and in the next generation of drummers- it was so nice! jesse had to go and it was awkward bc he said bye it was nice meeting u ill see u next time but i paused and said ya and we looked at each other and i told him i would walk him out and i did and he said uh ya uh it was nice meeting  u maybe we can exchange numbers and i said ya and we did then hugged and that was the end of that but overall i like his style his laugh his energy his mysteriousness and his drumming (: but he said maybe we can do some drumming together when he asked for my number - not a date or anything. its crazy i got bruises and blisters from slapping the drums so hard my hands are on fire , all swollen and red. mystical creature, he called my little blister cute bc i bragged about blast beats bc he showed me his hand when i said it must hurt and it was all torn up and swollen. when he left me and joshua talked a lot more. but at first when i was playing the drums the 2nd round jesse was giving me a beat on my back and it helped and was nice but i lost confidence again and he was so sorry bc i wanted to stop playing an d he kept saying no u do it ill stop but i refused i was already embarrassed and idk how but we touched hands and i said his were so soft and he kind of rejected it but bc he wanted me to drum its like dont flirt with guys while theres drumming if their drummers bc its all they care about and it was so cute seeing them so passionate about it like nothing else matters and i told him he summoned something in my soul and it was soo good damn I'm meeting lovers through drumming circles its beautiful wow its 4:07 am but I'm not tired i have so much energy and earlier today briksha gave and guided me in a protection meditation and it was so good i love life here its honestly the best and iw wish to paint about it
