I actually haven't finished writing my thoughts about it because I've been busy, but there's so much going on regarding the psychology of romantic love that I want to explore regarding Sukuna and Yorozu and the idea of Sukuna being someone who can or cannot experience love.

For one, I am massively biased by this panel from x/1999...

"There is a definite crime that can't be made up... there's no one who can't love someone."

I bring it up because, thematically, x and jjk share certain similarities. One of them is the idea of characters who have no empathic connection to others, and so they have no regard for others.

Seishiro, the character in the panel above, is basically a serial killer and psychopath who is caught off guard by the fact that, contrary to what he believed to be true about himself, he realizes he can feel love. Said love, however, is very, very, VERY twisted and it manifests in this very creepy and sinister way.

I won't spoil it but basically he's a massive idiot.

So I personally much prefer the headcanon that Sukuna has felt love at some point in his life, even if it is a twisted and corrupted version of love.

I particularly love head canons of said love being so twisted that it involves hurting or killing the Beloved.

Anyways, I just wonder if Gege is trying to portray love as something that exists on a continuum where our ideals of love as a beautiful force exist on one end, and where the nastiness of toxic love exists on the opposing end.

If you're interested in the psychology of romantic love and don't mind reading me overpsychologizing the hell out of the last couple of chapters, I'll share the post to this blog when I'm done with it.

Are you and the last anon talking about that tradcath with 'irish' in his name? Speaking of which, I don't understand Christians who entertain anime. I used to watch these when I was a teen but some of these people are in their 30s and still watching it. And let me tell you anime has a lot of degeneracy no matter how you look at it: sexualization of minors (the whole loli phenomenon), violence and gore, glorification of terrible traits (narcisism, selfishness, aggresiveness etc), sexual degeneracy, LGBT themes, crossdressing, magic and demons, desecretion of holy imagery (sexy nuns and angels, evil and/or pervy priests, etc), and so on. [Now I'm remembering the irish dude was gushing about anime that features catholic imagery even when most of the time they use it wrong and sometimes mock it lmao].

But if you tell these Christians any of these, they'll inmediately come with excuses about how the anime they watch doesn't have any of these (lies) or just a few problematic elements, how they can discern between reality and fiction, how you're just being a killjoy, etc.

A lot of christians seem to want to mingle with the secular world and seem 'hip' so they like to consume a lot of crap from popular culture. They don't want to be seen as 'uptight' and many have a 'not like other christians' complex where they pretend to be super chill about degeneracy and claim to be 'not like those crazy ladies that thought Pokémon was demonic!'. So they consume whatever demonic anime it's popular with their crowd to fit in and pretend nothing it's wrong with the anime industry. If you cannot even leave your mediocre anime then I don't think you can sacrifice much else for Christ but whatever...

Depends? Probably comes down to like 1-2 hours most days, more when there's a lot of stuff to read or art to admire on my dash or I'm answering asks etc.. Nah. I don't have enough reach/contact for others to come and start arguments with me luckily, and I try to stay away from drama and fights myself. I'm not conflict avoidant and will debate/defend myself within reason if need be but I'd still rather the need for that doesn't arise at all. I'm just here to vibe, not to fight. Part 32 - Epilogue

Oikawa muted the conversation he has with the fangirl he talked to earlier during his volleyball practice. He scrunched his nose.

Truth to be told, he didn't know why did he actually did that: flirting with his fan, praising her and showering her pick up lines that reminded him badly of someone.

What was the reason? He wondered.

As he dropped his phone on his bed, the familiar sensation awakened. These days, everything felt oddly weighing. As if a boulder was placed at the top of his chest and he was forced to act as if he's more than fine. It was painful and numbing and he knew who to go to when things felt so wrong.

He reached for his phone once more. Familiar with the screen, his fingers took him to his Twitter account in a flash. His thumb prepared to type her Twitter handler's name-

He furrowed his brows as Y/N's handler did not appear on his search box. Weird. He thought as he went for his messenger this time-

His jaw slightly dropped as a warning sign is now blocking his privileges to reply.

Slightly nervous, he went for his Twitter again, switched into an old account and search for Y/N's Twitter handler.

His eyes widened as he has successfully found Y/N's Twitter account with his old account. It was clear to him. She blocked him.

Did she see him? He was busy attending to that fangirl that he wasn't able to eavesdrop on his friends' conversation - as it has become their new hobby to talk about Y/N on his back.

This made him reach for his swollen cheek, wincing in the process as he recalled what Iwaizumi has slapped him last night: the truth.

"If you're mad because we lost, don't pour it all out on Y/N!" Iwaizumi screamed with gritted teeth as he pulled the collar of Oikawa's clothes. The scene felt so nostalgic Oikawa didn't want to face his longtime bestfriend.

"Don't be a coward and face the fact that we lost and we're never going to get that dream," Iwaizumi's voice felt like dripping acid towards Oikawa's torn heart, ripping them to nothingness with every word he spoke, "Y/N has done nothing wrong. Hell, she's not even the one we fought against with so why are you lashing your anger out on her?"

Iwaizumi pushed Oikawa with all his force, making him stumble a couple of steps. Oikawa felt daze as he coughed, tasting iron on his tongue as he reached for his numb cheeks.

"Don't be an ass, Oikawa," Iwaizumi says that is more closer to a warning, "Don't be a dick the second time around."

This is a multi-fandom blog and there's a possibility that I might even start writing for even MORE fandoms. Each fandom has specific rules that I'm going to specify. If you plan on requesting a fandom from me, check the rules for the fandom.

General rules

No explicit nsfw, its not something I see myself being able to write any time soon. Suggestive stuff I'm chill with.

One character per one-shot request.

3-4 characters per headcanon request is the limit. The Haikyuu fandom is the only fandom that works around this, I'll specify how in the Haikyuu specific rules.

Please when you request do characters from the same fandom, if you don't I'm gonna do separate post for each fandom you requested for separately. It would be easier for me if you just sent in multiple asks with the same prompt just with the character's separated by show.

I wanna elaborate on that a little cause I feel like I explained it sorta badly. If you request "Dating HCs with Izuku, Katsuki, Kageyama and Tsukishima" I would make two separate posts, one for the haikyuu characters and one with the my hero characters. I would prefer if you sent in two different asks. "Dating HCs with Izuku and Katsuki" and then "Dating HCs with Kageyama and Tsukishima" I don't mind the spam.

If the character is below the age of 16 I only write platonic stuff with them (The my hero boys are 16)

I write all genres but I'm still trying to get the hang of angst.

I can do mini text SMAU's. I'm open for you sending in concepts for a SMAU series that I would ofc credit you for. I've been thinking about doing one for a while, but no ideas have hit me.

Please be specific with your requests, I need more than "Fluff with xxx" but like slightly more detail than that is the bare minimum.

I don't care if your request description runs long, I'll work with almost anything, slightly vague or really specific.

I'll take requests where the reader's appearance is the prompt.

I do POC!Readers as well, I enjoying being inclusive.

I'll write for, but won't romanticize mental illness/disorders in readers, like I said I like being inclusive, but keep in mind if I don't have that mental illness it'll take longer for the request to get done because I want to educate myself on it. If I feel like I won't be able to capture it well I may deny the request.

I'll do platonic and familial x readers, but DEFINITELY no incest

The only triggering/sensitive topics I won't do is s**cide and s*lf harm. But some topics I might feel uncomfortable doing, no hard feelings if I deny the request because of it.

I'll never do teacher x student.

I won't do character x character, or character x oc

But I love hearing about your OCs!!!! The only reason I won't write for them is because I don't think I'll have a good understanding of their character. But if theres a scenario you relate to your OC that I can manage to put into reader insert form I'll do it! I don't care how specific the scenario is!

I offer a shit ton of loopholes to combat me not doing character x oc stuff! And I encourage you to find some that I don't specify here in the rules.

I'll do song requests... If I like the song. I'm really not picky with my music, though (My playlist is 20+ hours long and the only way you can achieve that is with not being picky with music)

It's totally okay to ask for a prompt I've already done but with different characters.

I do emergency requests when I feel like I can get a piece done within a week. I can be a fast writer when I want to be.

School can and will hit me like a truck sometimes, if you're request ain't done fast I'm probably underneath a mountain of schoolwork, please have patience. If you rush me I might just delete your request.

Treat me with respect. Its the barest minimum.

I don't do matchups unless its some sort of special occasion.

I write for all genders but fem and GN the best, male isn't completely off the table, though.

I don't do yandere themes.

I don't do poly requests simply because I feel like I wouldn't be good at it.

I am very biased. There's a 90% chance that if you compliment me in your request I'll get it done quicker I'm not gonna lie to you.

I'm a really lenient person and if your request doesn't obviously go against these rules there's a 9/10 chance I'll do it.

My hero academia rules.

I write for almost all the characters except for Mineta and the extra boys in 1A that get like a line per season (Sero is NOT included when I say that, he is a king who I will write for). I don't write for Overhaul, Endeavor or any characters only introduced in the manga, either though.

I write for the girls and women of My Hero.

Quirk specific requests are a-ok (Another loophole around me not doing character x oc)

But when you do request something revolving around the reader's quirk please provide a thorough explanation of it.

I refuse to accept Katsuki's hero name as Dynamight so yeah we still call him ground zero on this blog 😐

I'll age the 1A boys up to the point where they're pro heroes if the prompt calls for it, but not for nasty reasons.

I know the my hero fandom is so much more than just toxic but it does exist, so please don't bring any stuff onto this blog, this isn't even a "request rule" per se. I'm never up to date with fandom drama like that and I'm not very interested in it 99% of the time.

I just want good vibes.

Haikyuu request rules

When I said that haikyuu didn't follow the 3-4 character rule limit, I meant that sometimes I do writing that includes the entire team.

Its usually short little headcanons, though. Nothing too full fledged and they might not even be reader inserts.

I write for almost all teams and characters that have been introduced thoroughly. The only characters that are pretty popular that I don't write for are: Makki, Ennoshita, Terushima, Hoshiumi, and Kinoshita.

All other characters are pretty much on the table.

I believe in pretty setter supremacy.

Although I don't read the manga, I know what all the Haikyuu boys' occupations are post-timeskip so feel free to request something pertaining to that.

I can't think of anything else so that's it for haikyuu specific rules.

Bungou Stray Dogs rules.

I'm trying to catch up on the manga, but as of right now I do not write manga-only characters.

I don't write for Fyodor, either but other than him I don't think I have a problem with any other characters. I don't enjoy writing for The Guild (with an exception being Poe) but they are still on the table

The only time I would feel comfortable writing about the triggering topics I said I wasn't gonna do is when it comes to Dazai, its his main personality trait so its unavoidable lmao.

I'll do requests that have the reader with a specific ability!! (One of the loopholes of me not writing for OCs)

But please provide a good explanation of the ability.

So, after a long conversation with super-powerful-queen-slaynna, whom you can thank for me sending this message, so like... if you like it good, if you don't blame them, I do want to apologize for assuming you were saying people can't talk about Destiel, its shippers and how much they dislike it in their group chats. That's what the post came off to me, as if you were policing what people could and couldn't say in these GC about Destiel. Slaynna made me realiza that you meant your post as a 1/2

warning to Destiel shippers who might wander into them. I understand this, because whenever a Destiel shipper follows me, I make it a point to warn them my blog might not be a positive space for them precisely to avoid this sort of unplesant interactions. It also came off as you were invalidating and dismissing the bad experiences people might have had with misbehaving Destiel shippers, which I'm sure you're nice enough NOT to do. My beef is really not with you, or Tink, or any other Destiel 2/?

meta writer, my beef is with shippers who are genuinely hateful and do hateful things. You simply came off as you didn't believe there are Destiel shippers who do these things at all. That say, I won't apologize for venting to like-minded people about my utter dislike for the ship, because we do in fact do that. But I don't think it's fair you walked in on us at that point and extrapolated that's all we do. BTW there is in fact an Anti-Destiel GC and the irony is, if you had walked into that 3/4

Okay, I’ll give you pointers for being bold enough to come explain this in my ask box, and I commend @super-powerful-queen-slayyna for reaching out to try to calm the stormy seas. I am most likely not going to make any further comments on that post anyway because it has blown out of control and has escalated into a full blown ship war post which I never wanted when I sent it. It’s now Destiel shippers and my friends trying to defend me or people blatantly calling me names and using unnecessary language which I am not even going to acknowledge or give the time of day as I don’t go in for that sort of childish name calling (unless you count my use of the word bronly but some things I think even we can agree are a necessary evil).

My post was a response to my own hurt and irritation at coming across two GCs, one for Sastiel, and one for Megstiel, which were both recommended to me by Tumblr, which were not tagged as anti-Destiel that I could see, that appeared on the surface to simply be places for people to discuss and squee over those ships. In both GCs I saw nothing but hate and lies and other upsetting comments about Destiel and Destiel shippers. It was extremely disheartening to see that in what on the surface appeared to be safe spaces. Because here’s the thing, these shipper GCs should be safe spaces. I have friends that are multishippers, that like Sastiel (and even the odd few who like Megstiel even though admittedly I don’t anymore.) There are plenty of other people out there in fandom that might like all three ships (I’d imagine those people simply want Cas to have all the love in which case SAME). 

To get one point very clear, I don’t actually care if people hate Destiel. I’m not going to preach to anyone about Destiel unless someone comes to me directly or comes scrolling my blog. I always tag Destiel so anyone who uses Tumblr blacklist should be able to avoid my blog completely. I would never intentionally go looking in an anti Destiel chat group. I’ve seen it all before anyway and it’s the same old arguments that really don’t affect my shipping preferences or my beliefs. 

What annoyed me was that those GCs were not anti Destiel chats. They were Megstiel and Sastiel chats. They were places where impressionable young Megstiel and Sastiel shippers could come across, who have zero feelings towards Destiel, and find themselves being told a bunch of lies and nasty crap about Destiel shippers and the ship. They are places where Destiel shippers who like to ship those other ships too might come across and suddenly find themselves isolated and alienated, which only perpetuates retaliation from those Destiel shippers and potentially causes the hate that you stress is so virulent among Destiel shippers to begin with.

My post was a warning for multishippers who are also Destiel shippers or at least Destiel friendly, that those GCs were being used to spread hate about Destiel. It was also an FYI to the people in those GCs that their hatred was very much public, in case they weren’t aware. I tagged the ships because I wanted people who ship Megstiel and Sastiel to see it, especially if they are Destiel friendly, because yeah, I’d want them to avoid those GCs.

Yes I then got snarky. I claimed that this does kinda prove a point because no Destiel GC that I’ve seen includes a bunch of hate and nastiness aimed at other ships. Sure, there is a high chance that there are hateful Destiel shippers out there. There are certainly a lot of bitter people on Twitter who piss me off when they scream queerbaiting at the writers so yes, of course there are bad eggs. I was shocked that from what I saw, there was no squee or shared theories or excitement about the ships, just page after page of hate aimed at Destiel shippers. So yes, perhaps I happened upon both convos right when those topics cropped up (which would be rather coincidental) and perhaps I had just missed the topics that I was interested in checking out - the theories, the meta, the spec... That’s what I was interested in. Since these GCs are a way to keep a finger on the pulse of what the fandom might be thinking in terms of the show and shipping and I was curious. Believe it or not I actually like to keep an open mind even though Megstiel is something that gives me a bad taste in my mouth ever since I sat myself down and truly thought about it. 

I generalised. I know I shouldn’t have done that, but those GC convos pissed me off. I don’t know a single Destiel shipper who would spend hours of their day just ranting about how awful Megstiel shippers are and how much they hate the pairing. I HAVE debated with friends about the suspected infiltration of the Megstiel ship by Bronlies who are using Meg to get Cas out of the way and to be spiteful towards Destiel shippers. This IS something that has been happening in recent years and I think even you admitted that in one of your replies to my post.

I also wasn’t trying to invalidate your experience with hate. I would never do that. The one thing I will say about anon hate in particular is that you don’t know who it is coming from. I occasionally get anon hate but I certainly don’t immediately assume it’s a w*ncest shipper just because I can’t stand w*ncest. Getting a message in your ask box that says “go kill yourself” is horrible, believe me, I know. But if that’s all it is, you can’t assume the sender was a shipper at all. Unless the message was “I ship Destiel and you can go kill yourself” you just can’t assume. If you have had actual Destiel shippers come and attack and threaten you and send you those messages directly then 1. I am so so sorry because no one deserves that kind of abuse, and 2. I hope you exposed them if you could. Because if there is one thing I have learnt about the Destiel shippers in MY circles, it’s that we find that kind of behaviour completely unacceptable and we WILL call it out from our own side if we see it. 

The reason I have such a high opinion of Destiel shippers being the “nice” people in fandom is simply because I have never seen that kind of behaviour from them. I interact with a lot of people. I have seen Destiel shippers get overly passionate, I have seen them get upset and angry when people lash out at them. I have seen them turn bitter and negative and go off on rants about the show. I have seen them dog pile on an anti’s post to provide evidence against a false claim “Kripke said he’s straight” and I thought it was a bit much... but it wasn’t hate. It was a reaction to years and years and years of being laughed at, called delusional, mocked and ridiculed by all other sides within the fandom. Destiel shippers are desperate for validation. They are desperate to disprove the lies. If people actually listened to us, or read the countless posts that have been written clearly providing evidence and sources to disprove every lie and false claim against Destiel perhaps we wouldn’t be so defensive. That’s what happens when you’ve been gaslighted for 11 years. 

But regardless, I’m not here to get involved in shipping wars. You’ll continue going on hating Destiel, and I will continue going on and, well, not hating, but very much disliking Megstiel in canon (though I have read some very sweet Destiel fics where Meg is Cas’s best friend and enjoyed the characterisations there.) 

My post was never to gatekeep and stop you from ranting about Destiel. Rant away to your hearts content. As I said above I really don’t care if people hate it. All I ask, is that you keep that kind of content in places that are clearly labelled as anti Destiel. So that should a Destiel shipper want to check out a Sastiel or a Megstiel GC, they can do, without feeling completely unwelcome and hated on just for enjoying Dean and Cas’s relationship as well. I really don’t think that’s too much to ask. All it takes is one tag right? Create your Megstiel GC and by all means rant about Destiel in it, but please just tag it as Anti Destiel.

listen, I don't want to tell you what to do or not, and I hope you don't take this the bad way but - maybe, just maybe when you complain about blocking culture, have you considered not to call harries who blocked you nasties or snakes? please don't get me wrong, but you say blocking should be used when you feel unsafe about someone and yeah, the truth is, if i knew someone calls me snake or nasty behind my back, i would feel unsafe and i would never want to interact with them. have a nice day.

i only called people nasties after they behaved in nasty ways. yeah you harass people and tell people they’re “fake” fans of harry or not fans at all because they believe harry loves and supports 1d as happened all year in 2016, you’re going to get the name “nasties” from me. 

furthermore, i didn’t start using that until i found that some other people who were talking about it publicly were using that term as to avoid the “not all harries!!!!!” shit that inevitably comes up with the subject arises. those people were more popular than me, so i adopted their language into use on my blog. 

i was being mass blocked before then... from the second i started calling out this behavior as unnecessary and rude. from the second i started calling out the false dichotomy between “harry” and “1d” that the harries were setting up... that’s when i started getting mass blocked. and like if that makes me unsafe, i think those people need to ask themselves why harry hating 1d is so important to them and try to fix that with themselves because........... he doesn’t.
