Different colors across the different scales

First episode of Call Me by No-Name, and I have color-coded girls . . . in a situationship (that has unlocked a new kink).

@avorbl wrote some good thoughts that started my train of thought about the girls' color dynamic, but I want to laser in on the lighting component as well.

Because there is a major barrier between them, and on one side, we have light, and the other side we have darkness.

Megumi is light and represented by warm colors.

No-Name is dark and represented by cool colors.

Megumi is an angel, and No-Name is, well, trash.

However these is a sweet spot on the color wheel involving hues of purple.

And I think that's where these two will reside.

Because right now, Megumi is innocent. She doesn't lie; therefore, there is an emphasis on her light and her entire face.

While Ms. No-Name is all eyes and darkness.

During this scene, her mouth is obscured behind the books several times as she continues to keep secrets about herself. Also, the first name she gave came from a book, One Thousand and One Nights.

But the angel is all face with no secrets to hide.

After Megumi brought No-Name in, she stated it was odd letting a person into her apartment without knowing her name, and No-Name responded that it was more odd that she even let a stranger into her apartment in the first place. Dark vs. Light.

Megumi doesn't even see the danger that No-Name poses with her dark nail polish.

And yet she allows No-Name to sleep in the bed with her only to wake up to her on top of her. She flips the positions, and changes the dynamic. Light on top, dark on bottom.

She leaves the bed and seeks out light in the form of a video game.

While No-Name, after complaining about the light, covers her eyes and fades into darkness.

They are beginning to exist in that purple sweet spot.

When they first kissed, it was a tiny box of light surrounded by darkness.

Because I don't think this is simply a story of Megumi being No-Name's light, but of No-Name seeing the light in herself through her connection with Megumi.

Sweet Megumi let a stranger in her apartment and bed, so No-Name isn't the only one who needs to find a balance within herself.

Therefore I'm thinking we are heading to a Purple Pair not for solely love purposes but because both girls need a bit of light and darkness within themselves.

They gotta find the sweet spot.

In most universes, Poolverine behaves like an asymptote. Their life trajectories get infinitely closer, gravitating toward each other, but never quite crossing. Destined to inch toward the other, brushing right by, but never truly seeing them.

They don't just glance into an abyss that's eerily similar to their own, they dive headfirst into it. They swim to find each other through the murky blackness and cling to each other like a lifetime.

And finally, they aren't alone. They have someone who's on the same path as them. Who understands their suffering. Who matches them in every way that matters. Who sees them and loves them anyway. It's new. It's exhilarating. It's everything.

Because here's the thing: Wade and Logan have always been soulmates. Their stories and trauma have always reflected each other. They've always had undeniable chemistry when put together. They've always been capable of relating to and accepting each other on a deeper level than anyone else.

It's just that this time, they finally recognized it. They didn't continue to live in ignorance, never pushing for more despite the itching part of them that wanted to reach out. They didn't just drift past each other, staying in each other's gravitational pull but never touching.

They broke free of their curse. From being so close to happiness but passing over it. From having their soulmate be right beside them and never turning to just look.

Their paths finally crossed, even if fate itself seemed to push them apart. Even if the odds were impossible. Even if Logan came from another universe. Even if they both tried to sacrifice themselves only to miraculously survive atomic disintegration. Just because they had each other.

Their trajectories finally combined.

I have questions for the pilot trailer of Me and Who because I'm getting color-coded boys in love, but something is up with Phopthorn/Apo, and it's not just him being reincarnated into another person's body!

Apo is a Red Rascal.

But Phopthorn is much lighter.

So is he a Pink Person?

Who will he evolve into a Red Rascal?

Or will he remain a Pink Person?

Because this feels like he story where he has to figure out who he really is.

And since Suriya's ex is a Red Rascal, I think Phopthorn will force himself into being a Red Rascal also to please Suriya, or at least he thinks that will please him.

Because I think Suriya is also faking a color.

He has secrets of his own and he would perfectly fit into the Black Brooder category.

But for a guy who has to enter into an arranged marriage yet knows his fiancé is a reincarnated convenient store worker, he seems really chill.

So is he a Green Guy or a Black Brooder?

He said Apo loved him sooo much that he was possessive, so it would make sense that Red Rascal Apo would have a green room since he is in love with a Green Guy.

But, once again, Suriya is too chill, so it makes it suspicious that he has multiple colors in a story where everyone is color coded.

So what is it? Is he a chill guy who must act arrogant and brooding, or is he a guy with lots of secrets who fakes me being chill?

I think I have an answer . . .

But Poppy and I will both be watching very closely to make sure.

I wasn't looking for her, but I was going through some battle NPCs and found her again. She's one of the FATE starting NPCs from Heritage Found and like.......... She looks like she could be Erenville's sister. I wonder if they designed her that way on purpose since her FATE starts really close to Tesh'pyani village iirc, or if someone on the design team just has a thing for buns with his specific color palette. 🤔
