kay so i've watched some isopod videos and i've learned that first of all, porcellio laevis means "smooth little pig" which is so damn cute

but also that the jar vivarium idea isn't gonna provide decent humidity range, so the new plan is to drill a few airholes in this plastic bin I've been keeping some of the calligraphy cards in. I can fill that with some soil, sphagnum moss, and wood chips to keep the substrate decently aerated, and I can get some leaves from the backyard for food source. I'll look into ordering some cork bark as well for a longer term item

for now tho, they're just gonna have to hang out in their transport enclosure for one more night, since i am WAY too tired to sort this out now x_x

an extremely spontaneous and subtle tweak to aster's design for some reason

born out of the first doodle in the batch the rays are now slightly more expanded in volume and are connected to each other. it just feels better. also allows me to connect the "brow" to the crescent half of their face in a spiral

izuna and tobirama like to work in the same space. they're both important enough to demand their own offices but instead they both privately requested a shared one. on the one hand you have an uphill battle to convince me why these characters would even give a shit about each other (plus i mean megfitz massacred their characterizations and thats a whole extra mess) and generally it just reads to me as just treating kon as tim's spare love interest uwu without any care about his character.

but on the OTHER HAND.... timiveskon? chefs kiss. kon and ives are instantly bonding over nerdisms. they are both standing on the table and yelling about the rereleased edition of return of the jedi and kon is going on about how he has the original literally downloaded into his brain and ives thinks that's the sexiest thing he's ever heard and tim is just sitting there consumed by lust while they both yell about greedo. it practically writes itself. come on

Got up early (for me), ate a light and healthy breakfast, applied to some jobs, took a long mental health walk with the dogs, gave one of them a bath, and even did some phone calls and messaging regarding my medication and pharmacy problems and managed to sort it out without breaking down!!!
