Another swap au whoooo. This one is partially inspired by @phenphoenix swap au (go check it out its amazing) mostly because he nailed almost exactly what I wanted this swap au husk and niffty to be like and I like the names he came up with.

(Huskers wings are the same same goes for his tail I just.. really didn't want to draw them) Anyhow in this universe niffty was the overlord i have no idea of what i tried coming up with something but couldn’t so if you have any ideas tell me please its driving me insane unfortunately for her she is still nifty and she let her obsessive tendencies get the best of her leading to her making some horrible calls that resulted in her being backed into a corner and making a deal with angel to preserve her power. Husk on the other hand still got backed into a corner due to his gambling habit but in this au he wasn't an overlord and the reason he made a deal with angel was because he owed money to his mafia due to it. He actually feels like his life has improve massively since making that deal and as such does not regret it at all Their personalities are mostly the same, just nifty being depressed and husker not being. I imagine niffty in this au is being very obsessive and in need of controlling everything in regards to that obsession while husker is much more caring and compassionate. Plus I love the idea of Husker having more feline tendencies such as him randomly dropping everything and chasing a mouse as this aus version of nifty roach obsession.

But their relationships with certain characters are very different, husker and angel are pretty close. He is grateful to Angel since as I stated before he is treated pretty well by him but while they are kind of friends their relationship never developed further due to the distance that one party straight up owning the other's soul put between them. For huskerdust to happen in this au angel would have to voluntarily give up husks soul which i dont think would happen in the near future. Niffty on the other hand is a bit resentful but mostly indifferent about angel a “could have been worse” attitude what i wanna talk about is her relationship with Alastor. She quickly becomes a good friend of his and while she is annoyed at him never fully acting like himself always wearing that smile (which she recognizes as a desperate bid for controle) their friendship doesn't have as rocky of a start as husk and angel dust in canon. But she still eventually has enough and calls out his bs in a similar manner to huskies “everyone loves to bitch to the bartender” spiel. In her case though the reason she knows so much is that people straight up forget she is there. Mostly because I think it's a lot more fitting for her plus I think it's funny. I am probably gonna draw the whole scene of her psychoanalyzing everyone once i decide who the fuck im swapping Sir pentious with becouse atm i have no idea.

So in the episode 'Bad Tina' Zeke mentions that his dads girlfriend just had a baby, assuming that the dads gf he talks about in early seasons is Cheryl his step mom and that the father of that baby is Zekes dad we can also assume that Zeke has a very young half sibling. And I did go ahead and assume all those things so this is Zekes baby sister Cherish (Cherry for short).

Im gonna talk some more about her under the cut bc im sure that will devolve into infodumping zeke lore/headcanons and i dont want anyone to get stuck scrolling past a wall of text

Interestingly she's the only oc i have that's part of a different piece of media rather than one of my own projects.

She's a spunky little toddler for sure she's always got tons of energy, she's extremely confident and fearless constantly running off when she sees something that excites her or to ask strangers questions. She has a big sweet tooth but also loves spicy foods, off the top of my head I don't think its been discussed in canon where Zeke is from originally but recently I've been thinking of him and his bio mom as being from louisiana (projection on my part my mom is from louisiana and bc I like Zeke as a chef and the food there is soo good) I love the idea that his mom taught him to cook the local dishes and that he makes them for Cherry. She dresses in a chaotic mix of her own love of bright, clashing rainbow colors and dingey hand-me-downs from Zekes childhood and from their other cousins. I definitely think Zeke has adhd and Cherry does as well.

I tend to draw her/think of her around age 2 1/2- 3 (so when zeke is 16ish) but in canon time she'd still be a newborn. I love the idea of Zeke with a young sibling he's portrayed in the show as being super caring, protective of and loyal to the people be cares about, and good with younger kids all of which read as big brother qualities to me and he's also mentioned wanting siblings hes closer too. (He mentioned having a 44 year old brother in Presto Tina-o but also has said his bio mom was pregnant with him at her prom which is probably just a continuity error with his throway lines but taken at face value makes his dad out to be a gross old creep which is my personal headcanon idk if there's anyone out there who are big fans of Zeke's dad and step mom but my headcanons do not paint them in a nice light so beware of that)

Based on pretty much everything Zeke has ever said about his family I get the impression that the adults in his life are pretty neglectful and irresponsible and definitely not super present (he rarely ever speaks about his dad I hc him having a job that keeps him away from the family most of the time probably something like trucking and Zeke has mentioned Cheryl being an alcoholic I also hc her as much younger than the dad maybe she's a bartender? I definitely see her having a nightlife kind of job also for reference picture her as a redhead with blue eyes and a lot of tattoos that's where cherry gets her eyes and freckles)

I believe with Cherry a lot of parenting responsibilities would be placed on Zeke and while i think he has qualities that are really well suited to that the parentification of an older sibling is not ok and would negatively impact him, I like the idea of him applying for a job at Bob's Burgers bc he needs a more stable way to provide financially than doing odd jobs around town and not only getting a job but also getting a support system and adults who care about him and his sister and their wellbeing. I think Bob would take Zeke under his wing and help him make himself and his education a priority (the belchers helping out with Cherry when they can so he can focus more on school and extra curriculars) and help him get into a culinary school after graduation. Linda would fall completely in love with her (we know how much she loves babies) and basically treat Cherry like she's her own grandbaby. They all babysit her when needed but Louise is her favorite babysitter and maybe person also she really looks up to Louise and likes to imitate her fashion style and the way she speaks, Louise would pretend that this annoys her but not so secretly finds it adorable.

Anyways clearly i could go on and on but ill just cut myself off there hope y'all like her!

FORGOTTEN LAND'S SECOND ANNIVERSARY :3

I AM SOOOO BACK

I started this drawing yesterday around afternoon and finished it just a few minutes earlier.

I went with a messier type of drawing instead of more clean like the elfilin one from yesterday, i find it fun doing it like this, mostly cause i dont have to worry about making it perfectly so i dont get as frustrated as normal. Id place this one as my second best digital drawing. im pretty sure i havent posted what i consider my best digital drawing here, tho i do have it in instagram, i might post it here one day, tho these two are way too tied up, i love how this came out, its not exactly like how i imagined it but its really close to it, and also itd say that since i dont tend to play around lighting that much, this was such a joy to draw and i cant help but stare at it a lot, at least until i start hating it because i made quite a lot of errors. i also changed my elfilis gijinka just a tad bit from last time, but its not that big of a difference, mostly.

ofc i had to draw elfilis for forgotten land's anniversary, i tend to deny it in my head but yeah they're my fave of the kirby characters even tho i hate them a bit. I wanted to draw some more doodles, like, elfilis eating cake, kirby car, a bunch of other stuff (not elfilin cuz i already drew him yesterday) but when i tried i couldnt draw anything more, guess this drawing burned me out a lot, huh?

you can definitly tell i spent all the efforts on him cuz if you look a bit closer to the bottom part you'll see its almost barely detailed, but i mean, they're the focus so make sense i guess for me not add that much detail there. um also, maybe because i dunno i had OVER 130 LAYERS jeez no wonder firealpaca was slowing down so much, i need to manage my layers better next time, tho i did do something i keep forgetting, wich is naming them (most of them at least) that was a real life saver

Also, antares (fecto elfilis' spear/cadaceus), as always, was a pain to draw, but this time its probably been draw the most accurate out of every other drawing ive made with it in it, i didnt notice it was like, a little curved when it reached the blade

fun fact! actually, this is technically a redraw, somewhere around between february and march i started a fecto elfilis drawing for the first anniversary, but i couldnt finish it in time, and i never finished it

thats...quite the improvement! (i remember being so proud of it)

also his wings are like that cuz i did not want to draw the pattern, its way too hard, i literally copy pasted it, wait, i was talking about the 2024 version but i looked at the 2023 one and i just noticed it also has the pattern copy pasted, i guess some stuff never changes since i still abuse the ctrl+c ctrl+v to this day

Also i ended up making a huge error there, i was planing to add the phantom spears from orbital pulsar (the attack he does first when you battle them at lab discovera) but theres an innacuracy, when they do the attack, they always close their eyes, i had actually sketched him (well i mean both these drawings are basically the first sketch (2023) or second sketch(2024) with some color, shadows and lighting. i didnt do lineart in the 2024 one cuz i wanted to be a bit like the og i made (too bad i sketched that one with black since the og was sketched with white due to me drawing the bg first)) with his eyes closed but them decided to make them open for a reason i cant remember, maybe i thought itd look nicer? idk

ive had the idea of redrawing this for quite some month now so it was kinda already planned

I really love katfl, like a buncha whole lot, its basically almost my first mainline kirby game. 100% the demo, finished the game in almost one day, i literally play it monthly, like, every month i put the card in my switch, start it up, get morpho sword, and go shred elfilis in lab discovera. i would probably not even be here on tumblr and the kirby fandom if it werent for it. and i love it so much i genuinly cannot express how much i like it and treasure it with words or anything

in april 2022 , i drew a fanmade book cover for the danganronpa x reader fic Sleep Awake . in december of 2023 i redesigned my reader for that story for the third time and thought it appropriate to redraw that old cover with their new design . and yesterday , january 13th 2024 , i finished that bitch . View the fruits of my labour .

in my last Notes section i talked about nerfing the lighting . well um . i nerfed it again . i dont know if it was fate or if i just . idk . didnt want to but i axed both original concepts - the yellow overhead light ( mostly) , and the light blue under light - and just Winged the fuck outta it . that ' mostly ' means that the light source is Still overhead but i just took the colour out to make it more neutral .

another thing i brought up were the shelves and how i wanted to add more items to them . I did it this time , but not to the extent that i really wanted to . i'd hoped for more Clutter and ultimately couldnt think of anymore than a few items . SAID ITEMS BEING !!!!

the pills . self explanatory , since they haunted the majority of cases 2 and 3 .

chess pieces . cute little reference to the chess scene ! even if the scene itself didnt feature real chess pieces , the imagery wouldnt work if i didnt use real pieces .

the letter opener . dont need to explain this one . but i Did originally plan to have it in shin's hand ( explaining why that one is balled like that , because there was originally a Thing in there ) but i couldnt figure out how to draw it and make it look Good . i only added it back when i was colouring the trinkets on the shelves and realised that i Forgot to put it back into the drawing .

the joker card in the bottom corner . also shouldnt have to explain this one .

LITTLE DETAILS I THINK YOU SHOULD LOOK AT .

THE HANDS !!!!!!!!! i decided at the very last second to make them vaguely see through . and theyre all a persons ! amami and shinguji are the obvious ones , but the two holding at the top are supposed to be ouma ( on the scarf ) and akamatsu ( on the rope ) . i would have included tojo's as well but i couldnt fit it in the composition without it looking awkward and out of place and i thought there were already enough references to case 3 as is .

and you literally cant even see it but if you look REALLY closely at oumas hand . his skin is a little grey and you can see the veins through the skin . wonder what happened there . Guess we'll never know !

THE BOOKS !! did the same thing as last time with a Little More . purple books are ouma , green are both amami and tojo , blue is both kiibo and chabashira , pink is akamatsu , and red is phys themselves . i know phys's canonical colour association is olive green but consider : shin is red . look at him . hes Red . that ones for me specifically .

with that . i did all of those books by hand . i drew about 9 variations of books and copy pasted them sure but i Shaded and Coloured them all individually . youll never guess how fucking LONG that took . so yeah . no one book has the exact same shading . goodie !

THE JOKER !!! yes i know i talked about it in the previous section but i WILL talk about the card itself . because i unironically am so in love with how that drawing came out . the little guy featured there is my Lies of P oc scaramouche or scaramuccia ( i use them interchangeably ) . hes a silly jester :3 . the depiction on the card is of him in his prime , before . All Of That Happened . story-wise he's a super famous circus performer known as " The One Man Show " because all of his acts are done alone and are absolutely insane . hes very good at what he does which is Why he doesnt have a crew . and the only reason hes so good is because he't not even human , just pretending to be !

additionally , i originally planned for that joker card to be a Real Life Joker . because a little known fun fact about me is that i collect playing card decks ! but i looked and literally NONE of the ones i currently own would have fit the piece . so . yeah . i just ended up drawing darling scaramuccia . heres the full image im so chuffed

i think thats all i got for the drawing itself . i initially started this back in early december but got stuck and picked it back up a couple days ago , so its been marinating for a bit . hope we all like it ! i think its Better than the original . THE SERIOUS STUFF .

pardon my language but FUCK i wish i found this blog earlier. these are the minor details that i NEED for my ocs. i see your inbox is open to ranting so I'm going to take the chance to talk if that's okay.

now this alone may out myself to my friends on the off chance that they find this blog and that this is posted but i have over 500 ocs and counting because my brain wont stop generating new characters. id love to make a piece that includes ALL of them somehow but i really don't think my tablet or my sanity can handle doing that but its a nice thought

anyway out of those 500 only a good handful have some kind of storyline to them and somehow the one with the most normal life managed to become a fan (friends) favorite. he's a "short" white British guy who didn't realize he was bi until he hit college and it only happened bc he started to like his dormmate. he used to be ginger and my friends called him a leprechaun. the worst that happened to him is that he's had a shitty love life. even so i love him and my friend's oc aka his former dormmate aka his current bf. i draw them together all the time bc i think their dynamic is great and ngl my friend's oc is very pretty. like. very. but that's a box to unpack later

another oc i cherish is my first dnd oc which I'm not too worried about sharing bc I'm 95% sure the people I'm worried about finding this oc in particular don't use tumblr or at least arent on this side of tumblr. anyway she's a high elf wizard and shes so COOL even if her appearance is so different compared to the standard high elf. i gave her bright blue hair and bright green eyes when i was like 8 and I've kept them like that (but made the colors much duller). she has a large scar that branches out from the middle of her back to look like lightning bc she did a witch bolt on like 3 health and killed the boss and I'm still not over that and i dont care that that scar doesn't make much sense. her best friends are a halfling who thinks nearly getting killed every adventure is fun and a goblin the halfling and her met on their first adventure together. the halfling makes fun of the goblin 70% of the time but its okay bc they're all friends who work under a magic school and its great

like i said i have 500+ more but i think these are some highlights. honorable mentions include a girl who was arrested by her own gf and then broke out with her friends' help, a superhero oc i made when i was like 6 or 7 that has fire wings and her dad was originally manray from Spongebob somehow, a werewolf lady who is a walking red flag, a guy (gender neutral) who got high once and began being followed around by a demon right after it kicked in, and all of the ocs i made on roblox.

Hello, just wanna start this off by saying that I love your art. I've decided to ask my favourite artists for art tips as I wanna get into it, but no matter what I do it never looks right. So, any tips?

WOOOOO BOY, first off huge fucking compliment i honestly didn't think i was anyone's favorite artist (despite what my friends say) and i find it super cool of you to try and draw

okay so first things first, disclaimer! I AM NO PROFESSIONAL BY ANY STANDARDS, IM JUST SUPER INTERESTED IN ART, DO NOT TAKE MY WORDS AS GOSPEL AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE MY WORDS OF ADVICE (you didnt say i was but just to cover my ass)

I am still learning as an artist so this will just be advice that helped me, lets just hope i can remember what got me here, and this will be just me jotting down my thoughts as they come so maybe im not the best person to come to about this (i may repeat what other people say in terms of art so bare with me)

SO WITHOUT ANYMORE DISCLAIMER! YOU WANT ART TIPS FROM ME? WELL GET READY FOR SOME BULLSHIT FROM A PERSON WHO'S BEEN SO ARTSY FARTSY IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT, WELL COME INTO THE SHIT TRAIN!!

Now i dont know if you are an intermediate artist, beginner, need help in specific areas or whatever the hell else but! here's the three main points i always wanted to scream at artists who are just starting out!

Your art WILL look like shit in the beginning

References and inspiration are YOUR FRIEND

DONT be afraid to trace

(I know I know this feels like regurgitated and it probably is BUT HEY STICK WITH ME)

does your art looks fucking trash? THATS GOOD!! KEEP DRAWING!! My art looked fucking ugly when i started and some might say (me) it still does, but thats okay!! You learn more and more from just drawing without any tips, art is a pure skill that builds up, do not be discouraged!! The point of art isn't to be the greatest in the world, it's to be at peace with what you create so if your art looks good to you and you are in a happy place in your progress, you are basically successful in my eyes at least (this doesn't mean to quit learning obviously but it'll come in time, be patient, do not push yourself! that's how you stop loving art and we don't want that happening!)

Ever find yourself asking "man why the fuck does (include art shit here) not look accurate??" well here's a tip, USE REFERENCES! DO NOT BE LIKE ME WHERE YOU JUST WING IT OR ELSE YOU'LL BE CRYING OVER YOUR DRAWING TABLET LIKE I DID AT SOME POINT!! Pay attention to the shapes of the reference, break it down and draw over it if you need to, shapes are very important in art and you need to be able to draw whatever you want in the most basic forms (im no good example of this, i really need to practice more aughhh). As well as references, inspiration is KEY!!! Everything is inspired off each other, nothing is original, so steal from your favorite artists!! Look at their speedpaints, look at how they use colors, analyze how they draw anatomy in their style, see how they use shapes, etc etc, learn from who you consider are the "greats of their times"!! USE ALL THE INSPIRATION YOU HAVE AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!!LITERALLY COPY THEM IF YOU WANT EVEN IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID THAT, YOU'LL LEARN WITH TIME!! just whatever you do, don't compare yourself so heavily against other artists, i know its hard, i do it myself even! If there is an artist who has a style you so so want, don't crumble if you can't draw in their style perfectly, you'll never win against someone in their art style. I suggest taking inspiration from multiple artists and mashing them together until it looks good in your eyes!!

That actually leads me to my next point! TRACING IS OKAY!! Now obviously I do not mean directly tracing over like some lines, showing it off/posting it and calling it completely original. I mean tracing over the references i mentioned before, or like what i said before, i believe you should actually trace from your favs! (don't call it original like i said before), tracing can help build memory on how to draw certain things like how i took a photo of my hands before, traced them, and then put it to the side to redraw it, making me understand futher how hands work! OR like how i traced a piece of art that i liked to understand how the artist drew their bodies, tracing is used by total professionals in the industry so do not be afraid!! You have total permission from me to trace my art and learn how to draw my wack ass bodies

and for a little extra bit, little bit of a hot take (I'm actually not sure how much of a hot take this is), i don't think you HAVE to learn the fundamentals to get into art. NOW BEFORE YOU RUN OFF SCREAMING AND SHITTING, IM NOT SAYING YOU DON'T NEED THE FUNDAMENTALS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! I'm just saying that if you want to get into art as a complete hobbyist and just want to draw to yknow draw and be happy, you should just go for it! Again don't make art something you hate! I completely encourage learning the fundamentals but don't ever feel like you're failing just because you don't, get into it when you have the time! be patient with yourself, this goes for any hobby/skill but just sink some time into it, i promise you will get further in you hobby than if you push and rush yourself into complete burn out

OH AND HERES MY ULTIMATE TIP! THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO DO ART!!

i shouldnt really be giving any hot takes on character design as someone who, despite having mild success in the adoptable scene in highschool, absolutely does NOT still got it when it comes to character designing (nowadays im just trying to do my best orz) but i do think one of the most important things with character design is that they serve the medium theyre in well.

like, a super exaggerated shape style triangle man with tiny legs a la mr incredible works great for an action cartoon movie but i dont know how good that style would work in a visual novel where you tend to only see the top half of the body. you wont be able to appreciate the tiny legs 😔

and as much as i goof on the visually cluttered anime boys in otome games and their odd fashion choices (kent from amnesia. at least 21 belts. 11 on one arm alone) i genuinely think they work for what they need to do, like all those fucking sashes and scarves and cords and capes and swishy things on the ikemen sengoku guys, painful to draw for me who wants to draw a goofy comic of them but WONDERFUL for an unanimated visual novel sprite, flowing clothes and hair adds a lot of movement to static images that you'll be staring at for 20-50 hours.

but of course on the visual novel/japanese adv game end of things u also have stuff like phoenix wright and the absolutely beautiful hotel dusk that tend to have blockier silhouettes than the fluttery flowing cloth and hair of like, a character in a bishoujo game from Key or something, but their sprites are animated which benefits from the blockier and (usually) less cluttered designs.

and theres still lots of exaggeration to be had to get very varied character designs, like the jake hunter games have a very grounded semi-realistic style but everyones posture and body types and expressions are pretty distinct, just the distinction is focused on the upper half of the body rather than the whole body like you would focus on with a comedy slapstick cartoon or like a comedy newspaper comic strip. okay its becoming increasingly obvious through what im talking about that i grew up in north america in the 00s-10s using deviantart where if ur cartoons didnt look like disney or pixar or like i dont know johnny test ur designs were considered not good enough so im still in that world. im still in that world. i hope the world is more open now

and something like the hotel dusk designs also would work well for drama or thriller comics - like i was also thinking about big sparkling shoujo manga designs and like. in a comic if ur like a garfield slapstick comedy u wanna look like a garfield, but if ur constantly doing closeups with serious emotion like a romantic drama shoujo manga, having big glittering expressive eyes and emphasizing the upper half of the character is pretty effective for the combination of medium and genre. i also think naoki urasawa's character designs would look so so good in a hotel dusk style game, that guy makes like the perfect thriller design, varied and diverse in shapes but so effective for a serious toned horror mystery thriller thing will lots of closeups of characters faces. i guess because i love serious and dramatic stories about people talking a whole lot i do gravitate towards this style of character design, where the emphasis is on the silhouette from the waist up LOL but it really goes to show that some character designs that may not fit the late 2000s comedy animation shape-based design philosophy have their own places where they thrive <- obvious thing everyone knows except for me who was on deviantart too much when i was 12

i think what im trying to say is i think big boobied super busy anime girl vtuber designs are fine, good even. i like em, i think they do the job and a lot of work goes into them. u only have a headshot/bust (heh) shown on screen 99% of the time u might as well make it with a bunch of particle effects and cool hairclips and lace and weird moving head wings or some shit. slap some sparkles on that thang

HI I want to talk about my fairy characters so if ur interested in that then !! here's ur chance

ok so basically aurelius is one of the three leaders of the fae court of iridescence :)) the courts (made by erin bc i cant spell her url) are more like small villages or kingdoms i think but like. ask her more about how that works bc i dont wanna say anything wrong . but !!

the court of iridescence is based on bugs and pretty fish and like . anything that looks outwardly pretty or has bright colors like poison frogs or something. the court is supposed to be like a fairytale kingdom with mushroom houses and big festivals all the time n stuff.

aurelius is like the party planner of the royal three because they love to host big dances and town festivals for literally whatever they decide is a holiday now. the towns people all participate bc they're a big community that all works together and they hang out. they have big communal gardens that almost everyone contributes to with big fruit trees and bushes and its just sooo pretty. aurelius is genderfluid and goes by any pronouns btw and yes they do smell like gummy bears <3

cassandra is another one of the royalty there and she's based on the palos verdes blue butterfly :) shes a little smaller than the others but she lives in a big castle thats all pretty and light blue n stuff. i dont have much for her yet but if people need to talk they come to her. she's graceful and kind and a good healer and fighter :) her wings are very small bc the butterfly irl is really small and I wanted to get that small cute vibe yk. technically all the royals fall under the trans umbrella and Cassandra is nonbinary and uses she/they pronouns. they're all gender neutral when they're born. or would it be intersex bc it's like a choose ur gender thing in a character creator. like they can just choose body parts too bc. they're fairies come on. but as they develop they figure out more about how they want to present so. same goes for regular court members they aren't confined to human biology

the last of the three royals is romulus and hes based on the lily moth. he's super tall and his wings are big and strong enough to let him fly hes so cool. he's more quiet but hes very polite and sweet. he has a sweet tooth and he can be found at night wandering the town with a lantern doing his best to keep everyone safe :) there's no real dangers to them but he also likes just watching over his people. romulus uses he/they pronouns also :)

there's also maximilian who's aurelius's partner and he's so sweet. he's tall and quiet but not as tall as romulus . him and another minor character both play strong instruments with maximilian playing cello and Cyril (the other character) playing viola :) him and aurelius are soo in love its insane they're soo sappy and romantic all the time. they call each other by their full first names a lot bc they want to draw out their conversations with each other. they're soo sweeties ugh I love them

Likes to stay in their more ‘free form’ (has wings like most recent picrew- and a few other things, marking wise) but ONLY WHEN ALONE, they don’t want people to recognize them for the markings and such, so instead they normally keep it hidden; despite how free and relaxed it makes them feel. They don’t have to hold in magic forcefully in that form either.

Them being on meds, means drinking alcohol takes 10 times more effect.

Fae isn’t actually thirteen or sixteen- any of that, they by physical appearance, would be the youngest. Yet- on how long they’ve actually been alive, it’s a bit higher then others.

They’re immortal, in the sense that; they cannot age- whatsoever past a certain age, physically.

Made a deal with a very powerful god (that they had friended) so that fae could have most of their magic sealed, as to prevent using more of the deeper end of it. (The seal appears as the odd tattoo they have, which is on their left arm, and is a wring of leaves- with eyes hidden around.)

Enjoys going stargazing, and spending most times outside- yet only during the night.

Gets incredibly uncomfortable when people point out certain parts of their body or outfit just- looking ‘wrong’

Dusked Fate was named after a flower, because there physically wasn’t a name for the species, and Fated Dusks (the flower) only seemed to grow and show up in certain places and times, and the flower in general reminded Mossie of themselves. The flowers seem to physically grow, off death, loss, and corruption.

If Zoned out or fae’s thoughts go to a bad place, they make iced tea- normally… way too much of it.

Purposely burns and bruises themself, harms in ways that they can make it look like accidents. Would purposely lose a fight, and let someone beat the living hell out of them- because they deserve it.

(Which bestie, yeah you destroyed a whole town, and killed off a whole species- eternally made it night for a while- cursed a bunch of peoples bloodlines and basically ruined the whole world, hence why the gods had to step in and place a seal on them because they hadn’t lost control- they’d simply just did it for fun since it was boring, but…. You can be redeemed…!)

IT, the thing that torments them? Is actually a part of themself. It’s a part of the seal on Mossie. It’s not the whole thing, only part of it took form to haunt Mossie- and let themselves become THEM again. Tried to convince them to break the seal, so they can become a whole again.

Is a psychopath, and probably a sadist.

Is a professional liar (they can lie through anything, or isn’t possible to tel truth from lie)

Can watch the most gruesome and terrible heartbreaking things, and then cringes out and can’t watch childish movies. (Matured, wayyyyy too quickly. Was never actually a child and just- so many fucked up things they say, young.)

Is immortal, so can’t die- yet instead, every ‘death’ grows a flower were the main wound happened. (Say, a wound from their head, would grow a flower) Depending on the death, would grow different species and colors.

Has none in death after disowning, has one hidden on their back shoulder in the golden lyre inn (hiding it, so nobody realizes if they do die- it has consequences)

Has had several therapy’s to help them learn and too ‘fix’ them, which never worked.

Instead, it exhausted and drained them, and they slowly overtime off others- learned how to pretend. Learns how to fake that they’re better, when it’s just skyrocketing down.

Hates being themself around others; and only is the true them- when fully alone.

Mossie tried to pick favorites between siblings, and jokingly says Rowena, but physically internally cannot decide.

Astrin has always been there, he’s like- the older sibling you wanna be, and you’d go cry too about life. The one who can relate, and you love dearly.

Rowena is almost like a twin, or smaller difference apart. They’re really close, they share experiences, and lean on each other.

Cal, they aren’t as close- but still love each other, and it’s just ❤️

Cyrus is the younger sibling, who you love and would bully, but only you get to bully them. Like, yeah- I make fun of them, but I’m gonna be someone you can go too, you can come to me, we can fix this together- I love you, but I also lovingly bully you. (*cough cough, mossie said he has no bitches, cough cough*)

So physically they don’t ACTUALLY have a favorite. Because they just can’t choose. Mossie loves them all for different reasons, and don’t wanna hurt them- but, when asked if they have favorites…. Depending who you ask- they panic, and give a different answer. They normally just default to Astrin or Rowena, but they also have said the others when they panic and just/ don’t have, or follow the rules of favorites. (Physically can’t pick favorites)

Even if they truly do love someone, they can’t say the words. They CANT say I love you, they freeze up, the words feel- like a lie.

Actually managing to say it, feels so bitter to them- but, they’ll only truly say it- despite how it makes them feel… if it’s truly, the truth.

When a one on one conversation becomes more than that, or such? Say- a second person shows up? Or just, a reunion, and stuff and Mossie is there. They feel incredibly unwanted. As if, it’s better for them to leave. Just most times someone switches conversation for a second to tell someone something, and then look back over and Mossie’s just gone- they feel left out a lot.

Desires to be the center of attention for some reason, gets exactly that- and hates it. Wants nothing more than for everyone to look away.

Can handle seeing others blood…!

Only if it’s their own. Any one else’s, and it spirals down quickly. They can hold that change when it’s people they’ve like killed or such- people they don’t know-

Yet specifically when people they *know?* Fae just straight up breaks. The spiral down *fast*

It, their other half- isn’t like that. The opposite infact, they love the blood. Crave more of it- they’re just the insane part of Mossie- so Mossie Instead, breaks. Because they can’t handle how they used to *love it*

Ontop that, the mess, makes them panic.

They did a bunch of fucked up stuff, and not because they had lost control- but for fun. hence why the gods had to painfully, split their personality and restrict their powers. as to hopefully- hopefully, prevent them from seeing no worth in the world, and being a complete sociopath.

It took several gods to hold them down, and it was very painful/ because the gods can’t kill mossie- since, anomaly to the world, and completely immortal. only one of the gods believed they went too far.

Mossie also, sometime after dad- inbetween the inn, they got those memories back, so they know what they did- yet they’ve basically been fully manipulated to believe they deserved EVERYTHING the gods did to them (which, no mossie, ya didn’t)

mossie struggles to cry. like, at all. even when theyre incredibly sad- like, everythings going wrong- and they just need to let it out, and cry- nothing comes out.

they havent cried in years. and they seem to be so incapable of doing it. because every time, nothing comes out. and they genuinely think somethings wrong with them because of that.

Mossie has a seal, that’s like- making them, not them rn. because the real mossie is just straight up a sociopath. like, aha. yeah.

so, like, the seal is slowly breaking, and like- it’s almost fully gone.

as of, mossie’s hair changing to purple- that means they and ‘it’ merged back into the same person.

They don’t have a name yet, but they (pronouns they/it) basically are a remnant of Mossie’s past. They haunt them, and never leave them alone. They’ve made Mossie blame themself for the past- and made things worse. They’ve used their words to push Mossie away from others- and constantly try to have Mossie’s life a living hell. They won’t leave Mossie alone; and simply…. Enjoy tormenting them. It’s basically insane, and has fun messing with Mossie wether physically (they can harm Mossie physically through dreams) or mentally, in any way they want.

Basically, toys with them- and enjoys it. Yet isn’t in a state of living or dead- meaning they basically don’t exist to others. Only way to learn of its existence is off Mossie, who’s basically been forced to keep fae’s mouth shut. And with knowledge of them, it just hurts more- because there is physically no way to get rid of them. They’d only leave, if they got bored of hurting Mossie.

The sword isnt and never has been used as built, or; its appearance isnt true to what it actually is.

The sword is now honestly a relic of the past, and its hidden very very deep within a forest, trapped within a cave.

It has meaning to Mossie, yet not in a kind or heartfelt way….

It is the only link, and only standing thing, sealing them. There used to be several swords, and they sealed and made them feel and act more ‘human.’ the remaining one is cracked, close to breaking, and when Mossie found it in the cave….They almost wanted to break it; free themselves from being held back, yet they didnt…..

Sunny convinced them not to, and, instead, hide it further away.

Fae is still close to breaking it, and its even harder not to when they know exactly where it is.

The sword isnt just a seal, its a barrier, and was made by the gods (as were the others) just for the sole purpose to stop Mossie all the time ago.

Age and time broke the others, if the sword of ‘morality & life’ is broken; mossie would have less control over their choices and could end up like before and unable to calm down, say, anything could make them snap; and Sunny would no longer be able to calm fae down, or would struggle greatly with it. ‘Simple kills’ would get overly violent, and Mossie would literally turn into a monster…

They need the sword standing, and if it breaks a replacement would be needed to keep fae sane and…..just, to keep them somewhat away from breaking and trying to kill everyone again….

But then I remembered the entire B-plot I'd written then forgotten about because it wasn't what I was focusing on at the time!!!! And other trivia!!!!! So here, this is for you. Thanks for the ask and for liking my AU!!

The overarching plot of the Hogwarts Wizard AU is a slow investigation of the mysteries surrounding the Black Lake, the school itself, and their Professors' history regarding both. Spender’s mystery is a dangerous creature that lives deep in the school. It escapes one year and starts attacking students, similar to CoS.

This whole thing is mostly just some Nancy Drew-level secret hunting and adventure action. It's not really slice of life, but I'm not going down the whole Ooouughgh Dark Wizards People Getting Murdered I'm A Shithead Trying To Write White Supremacy Allegories road hard pass everything here is pnat-typical stakes. They're just at wizard highschool caught up in a big wizard mystery.

some fun bits:

their first year while serving detention duty for Something, one of the main kids finds the marauders map a weird compass that always seems to point you exactly where you need/want to go, engraved only with the name 'Smith'. Ideal for shenanigans, the AC and Jang spend the next several years stealing it back and forth. Hmm. Wonder who made that!

Forge is a semi-sentient suit of armor that starts acting suspicious and causing trouble. Spender suspects theres something more going on, and so he basically destroys the armor and scatters all the pieces before it can cause any serious damage. Johnny finds the helmet of the suit in the forbidden forest and brings it back with him because he just sort of feels like he needed to. Forge wants Johnny to reassemble the rest of the suit, but being back in the castle is an acceptable start. 

the Sphinx of Games USED to be the Ravenclaw riddle door, but with the recent development as the Sphinx of Rules kind of sticks a fork in that. but also i dont care about canon this is an AU so whatever my rules. the games are back baby

Boss Leader is the worst Headmistress EVER. Isaac gets pissed cause everybody seems to know some stuff about the ministry, but nobody will tell him squat. He makes appointments with Headmistress Leader about it, but every single time, when he gets there it’s just a dummy painted to look like her. He writes an angry letter thinking she cant just dummy outta this one. He gets a response letter and its just a crude drawing of the dummy. He has no excuse, really, this has happened at LEAST 17 times

in their fifth year when professor oop teaches care for magical creatures, johnny gets riled up at a hippogryff and ends up in the hospital wing for a week with a broken arm.

ollie offered to call things off with Durmstrang Twink so johnny wouldnt show up alone and totally pathetic but johnny refused on account of "never wanting to ruin a bro's chance at true love"

isabel actually ends up DITCHING midway through because people keep trying to talk to The Gryffindor Quidditch Captain Guerra Family Heir Girl and it's suffocating. she doesnt wanna network she wants to have fun with her friends. she runs into johnny just as hes coming back from releasing a racoon in the venue and they hang out for a while away from all the hubub. walk down to the quidditch pitch and talk and joke. do not talk about any feelings because they are cringe. isabel gets spotted at one point and eventually gets in trouble w her grandpa for not keeping up appearances but who cares fuck you old bitch

in the spring after max's second triwiz tournament task, jeff and professor spender are the recipients of a polyjuice potion incident. the two were found safe but unconscious several hours later. nobody knows why, or what the impersonators wanted, and they aren't found out until weeks later. everybody in school is put on edge for over a month

its not hijack sorry it ends up being two beauxbatons students. nervous at max's chances of winning the tournament, they decided to try and find some weakness or opportunity at sabotage by getting close to him (it didnt work). when cody's bbton boyfriend lets his classmate's secret slip cody is FURIOUS

i'm gonna talk about izjo now

the polyjuice incident scare happens during the 6th years' second round of DatDA practical boggart training, against a much stronger one than they faced in 3rd year. during which, to her complete horror and humiliation, isabel faces (her perception of) francisco. expecting a lame-but-maybe-scary dog like the one that came at her last time, she's caught completely off kilter in front of the entire class, all her friends, everyone. we get an 'end of ch4'x100-level verbal berating ending in a panic attack and running out of the classroom. not a good day for isabel.

she drops her wand on the way out. her friends are worried but ed is in hufflepuff, isaac is in ravenclaw, max is in slytherin, and despite going over to the gryffindor common room for movies all the time nobody in the AC knows the password to get inside. ollie's friends with her but they're not close enough for something like this. the only person who can maybe handle it is johnny, a certified Experienced Ride-Or-Die Best Friend Extraordinaire after 6 years of Gang experience, and who, after being isabel's quidditch partner for 4 years, is maybe the only person who knows her as good as ed and max do. theyre still a little awkward about anything Genuine but their 12yo haterivalry has mellowed out to a 'late night study sessions ("because you're gonna fail charms, idiot, i cant find a replacement if you get expelled and if we lose the cup for it i'm kicking your ass") ("as if, and let you have all the glory when you win without me? pass that book") / constant hangouts ("ed's hanging out with rj again, wanna go look at the shrieking shack?") / mutually repressed crushes (they have kissed once and Almost Twice by now and Refuse to talk about it)'-having close friendship, so johnny grabs her wand and goes to check on her

isabel's in the commonroom sitting on the floor in front of the couch. she's angry, crying, angry because shes crying, crying because she's angry, etc. johnny does Not know how to handle this but cares about his friend so he tries. isabel thinks he's making fun of her at one point and johnny has to switch Comfort Tactics because Shit What Works For Stephen Is Not Working With Guerra. they talk, he gives isabel back her wand, and then stays with her instead of going back to class. they talk more. isabel, consistently known for Keeping Things In, slowly gets comfortable enough to vent why it bothered her so much and she's so frustrated and she cant believe she just stood there and took it and the whole class saw and god FUCK

upon realizing that this is an image/confidence issue thing johnny goes into Friend Protection mode because UM? its so funny. i dont even think she convinced herself fully. i think at least part of her 100% knows she is huffing Copium. like its a really good scapegoat and the potential of johnny being in like actual danger DOES raise her hackles but i dont even know if she can entirely bring herself to believe her own accusation but shes still like 'no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

isn't it funny

ever since i was teen i knew i wanted to do hair as my profession. well, i graduated high school, moved out to santa barbara for a year, went so cosmetology school, then moved back home and started my first job ever, in a salon.

i loved it, until i didnt. working in a salon and the type of clientele i had is what i didnt love. doing hair, cutting and creating different styles just by cutting hair to fall into a unique style, or coloring a whole head of hair from one color to another. theres a science and chemistry behind mixing chemicals and manipulating the structure of the hair strand, can chemically change the color of the hair.

i was never good at art. i cant draw and can imagine it in my head but cannot recreate it onto paper. i dont have the hands to draw. hair was like my canvas, where not every since line and detail had to be super concise with the strand right next to it.

lately ive been missing that kind of creativity. ive been sparking that interest in me that wants to do something crafty. i love being able to take my time and really sit and focus on that project, but life has been so busy that i always feel guilty when i'm fucking off and procrastinating or resting.

i’m trying so hard to get my mind right and really am trying all of my options and pushing some personal boundaries within myself to find what can motivate me again to push through this chapter in my ilfe.

maybe thats why ive been feeling like crafting lately. theres not enough time in my days where i could only focus on that one thing all day. when i was little and working on a project, no one would interupt me or take my attention away from it until i fully completed it. i think the reason behind my sudden spark of DIY. am i missing the times where i could do something, uninterupted, alone with just me and my thoughts? now thinking of it, it was nice to not have to talk to anyone or be bothered with shit i really couldnt bother ilstening to, but as an adult now you dont really get that kind of alone time.

home is where i am safe and home is where i can be my most authentic self. i pick my nose whenever i want. i can eat like a slob and no one is looking at me weird. its my personal dome. my bubble.

is that why i also hoard a lot of things? i always like having everything i could possibly need in the house. idk where this thought was going.

all i know if that i am really considering buying doll heads and hair colors because i really just miss working on hair. i went down a brad mondo and hair dresser reacts videos. i was reflecting the other night about how differently i would have done those client's hair if i went back but knew what i knew now. i have a lot more knowledge about how color and bleach really works. i was never patient in the coloring process because it always took so long, but if i could just do hair without there being a risk of ruining an actual person's hair and being able to essentially wing it to create something on the head.

YEAAAH I AGREE one of my fav egg headcanons ever is that they can shapeshift

it's unconscious mostly/they don't realize, like the longer they hang out with certain people they'll take on traits of that person :))

so after like the first few days of getting the eggs they started to take on the appearances of their parents!!

for eggs like richas and pomme since they have so many different parents it's slightly different!

for me, richas looks the way he does because he was inspired by a bedtime story cellbit told him :)) one of the characters cellbit was describing richas loved a lot that he shapeshifted to look like that character!! his hair tho he kept to be a similar-ish texture to felps!!

so richas mimics his parents more though his personality, less with how he actually looks (his prosthetic leg tho was made by tazercraft)

for pomme i think it would be similar being inspired by a character in a bedtime story one of her parents told her. i think her hair would be blond when she first joined because she was closest with baghera but then it became split (like half blond hald brunette/brown) because she was getting close with aypierre and wanted to reflect that since he has a different hair color!!

she has star freckles like etoiles and her tail has a star on the end as well (at least in my design because i like to draw them human w/ dragon-ish features)

uhm some other hcs... i like to think that tubbo is a shapeshifter as well :)) i love shapeshifters sorry i love them subconsciously changing how they look to reflect they people they hang around a lot/love

his 'default' like appearance is to be part goat but he can also shapeshift to look like a dragon, a bee, and a bunch of creatures!!

i like her as a tressym specifically because of the line in the dnd wiki that says "Tressym were carnivorous, like cats, usually hunting birds, rodents, and insects. However, they did not prey on baby birds or eggs." and qniki saying she would protect the eggs with her whole heart like right after meeting them <33
