Because the way I see it, they're literally trying to sell the narative that Nicola and Luke have so much chemistry they can't keep their hands off each other. There are people on twt saying they're dating, while Luke has a girlfriend. One of them had the audacity saying nothing will last forever when someone called them on their bullshit and said Luke is in a relationship. There's not one interview when they're not talking about their chemistry when in reality they shouldn't, their chemistry should show naturally not by forcing it.

People are on and on about why Simone and Jonny don't have a shot with each other, which I think it's the production plan to take the focus off them. They way in every article they're talking about how s3 learned from its mistake from s2... not s1 or QC but s2. Which is very weird since s2 is so much better than s1 and it's fans-favourite. They're giving TVWLM tropes to s3, that's why they keep saying they learnd from their mistakes.

At the same time they're baiting their fans as well with all the promos happening. We all know they won't be in more that 2-3 episodes but they act like they have an actual side plot. They gave Daphne a side plot when Simon wasn't even there, which was guiding Anthony. But Kate? Her only purpose is to sire an heir and nothing else... I literally have no problem with them having kids, I'm one of those who wants to see them as parents and see Edmund but acting like it's Kate's only purpose? It almost feels like she's an accessory to a white man...

I know I shouldn't care... racism and misogynist always happens in every aspect of our lives but it just hurts nonetheless.

All of Saiki's friends secretly have a fan club similar to the Kokomins but for Kusuo. They created their club for similar reasons as the surprise party plan because they knew Kusuo was too private to talk about his interests so they created a club to figure out how to be better friends for Saiki. They fought over who the club president would be but eventually the title went to Akechi because he wouldn't shut up about how he knew Kusuo best and the longest. Nendou is mad that he's not president but doesn't want to get into an argument with Akechi. Kuusuke tried to join because he knew Kusuo better than anyone and thought he should be the president. He was banned after telling Kusuo's friends about his hidden spy cameras that he uses to watch Kusuo.

my current theory is that PJO TV is gonna go the exact same route as the movies:

Movie/Season 1 - The writing is meh and is criticized alongside the heavy deviations from the original series. Some people are staunch believers that it is too harshly criticized for being a derivative series, and they're probably right to some degree. As a stand-alone media it's somewhat confusing without original context and generally received as Medium-At-Best, but not the worst thing ever.

Movie/Season 2 - The writers respond to criticism by making changes recommended by feedback to the first [season/movie]. These changes to be closer to the books are generally regarded favorably. The second [movie/season] is regarded with little fanfare. They solve too much way too early on and essentially kill any chance for them to continue the series, but set up a continuation anyways by introducing Thalia. They announce plans for the third [movie/season] and everyone is confused.

Movie/Season 3 - Is announced but never comes to fruition and everyone is kind of relieved by that. Also I personally hope Disney+ will be dead by this point. Maybe Netflix will pick it up to go with the TKC movies. I dunno.

ive cared about media before. ive been disappointed by media before, but i think the difference is i haven't put my faith in media like i did ofmd- and the more time passes the more i feel fucking stupid for putting that faith in the show in the first place, when so many of the things coming to light now were already there

i cant think about it too long else it makes me so fucking sad, and im tired of analysing it to bits because its not going to change anything, theres no way to fix any of this, no way to find a spark of light in it, no way to come back, to resurrect the show i fucking loved.

im sure everything everyone is saying is well thought out and nuanced things but for the sake of my own enjoyment of this fucking show i have to just not engage with it anymore.

wondering if childe being designed with red hair was researched and has a deeper meaning bc theres a bunch of stuff that makes a weird amount of sense. for him to have red hair specifically.

red hair is basically a mutation (mc1r gene) and it affects a bunch of different stuff, not just hair color, but also vitamin production and pain receptors

redheads in particular produce their own vitamin D so historically people with that hair color moved more towards colder climates bc they could retain heat better and thus could withstand the cold more. bc of their vitamin D production they also had stronger bones than people who didnt have red hair so its theorized that in colder climates redheads were having more children than non-redheads bc the latter just had brittler bones and had a rough time in the cold (the video i watched abt it also made a joke abt how redheads would thrive "underground" more than in the sun and well. funny that). also apparently some redheads need 20% more anesthesia than non-redheads bc they can have a higher pain tolerance
