Does anyone else find it difficult to write Dick, Roy, and Wally in the same scene without giving them the same voice? Because fuuuck me. The three of them start to blend together in my brain and it's very hard for me to make them sound more distinct from one another.

whenever i've imagined the upcoming bucktommy kiss (which is a lot) where buck initiates the kiss at the wedding once tommy saves chim, i imagine buck runs up to tommy and immediately kisses him in front of everyone. which is great and all, but now i think it'd be great if it starts with a simple hug first. like there's a slowmo scene of tommy getting off the plane, looking around for someone he knows, and then buck yells his name and sprints over, we hear tommy let out a soft "evan" before he's stumbling at the force of buck's body colliding with his as he hugs him so tightly. and as buck holds him, there's a few reaction shots. bobby has a slightly raised eyebrow, wondering when they got so close, athena looks a lil confused but happy nonetheless, hen and karen share a look, maybe we see buck's parents share one too (but less knowing/sweet and more worried), and eddie smiles a lil. let's out a sigh of relief because tommy is his friend too and he's glad he's safe. and THEN buck kisses tommy. and oh my god we get to see everyone's face switch immediately. the shock and the confusion and the pride. oh it'd just be so beautiful.

we all know rafe is rough in bed but there’s something so heart warming about rafe making love to shy ready for the first time 🥲

"how come you're being so nice?" you question from your position. rafe heaves out a breath, trying not to collapse all of his body weight on top of you, finding it incredibly hard not to do so. you're pretty to the point of distraction, sweet to the point of insanity.

"m'always nice." rafe says, appreciating the way you try to squirm even when you're pinned in place. your eyes flutter shut when you feel his breath on your skin.

he likes you like this—though you're almost always soft and compliant, this is special. this feels different.

"know what i mean rafey." the words are breathed out, chest heaving and eyes clamped shut. he knows why—you get too flustered if you catch the way he's looking at you right now.

"no, i don't. why don't you explain, hm?"

you almost want to cry. you know what he's doing, know he's doing it on purpose. you're minutes away from getting what you've been waiting for patiently. you want rafe and he wants you, but like always, he's making it difficult. you wish you could find the words to ask for it, think straight for long enough to get rafe to give in already.

but rafe is a tease, and he likes making you wait and watching you in the process. skin hot to the touch, shuddery breaths, wet eyes. you look up at rafe and all the air rushes out of your lungs.

"i thought you'd be mean about it. rough." rafe is so fucked—even the word leaving your mouth feels wrong to him. "you're being so nice."

"maybe you bring it outta me." you think you've lost the last of your senses when he says that. "y'ready?" he leans in to press a kiss to your lips and your eyes close again. still closed, you reply.

"i've been ready since i met you."

It’s one of the moments where we clearly see how much he cares for her. He wouldn’t let the guards touch her, despite—from his perspective—not having any way of knowing she wasn’t there to kill him. On top of that, he declares to the palace crowd that Jude is the rightful Queen of Elfhame, who is not in exile, stunning everyone. And then later tells Jude that he had been terrified, not of her but for her.

“It was terrifying,” he says, “watching you fall.”

“Mortals are fragile,” I say. “Not you,” he says in a way that sounds a little like a lament. “You never break.”

Jurdan are wild because they may not have been able to verbalise what they felt for each other, nor even admit it to themselves, but it showed through their actions anyway.

There's a quality of goodness that's hard to overlook, but still...and then I think of it, what Peeta can do so much better than the rest of us. He can use words. He obliterated the rest of the field at both interviews. And maybe it's because of that underlying goodness that he can move a crowd--no, a country--to his side with the turn of a simple sentence.

I realize only one person will be damaged beyond repair if Peeta dies. Me.
