I don't think I ever will. I was forged in friction and I sometimes feel it's all I know. I have something like sustainability and even a sense of family in the works, but it's a plan that's been delayed nearly two years now and I need an old friend to come through on their end of the deal.

What I have before that are amusements, distractions, and a passion for the art of fiction.

I love how Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse said “Anyone can be Spider-Man”. I love how it inspired everyone to imagine their own Spider-People, saving the day in their own universes, with all kinds of cool, interesting personalities and aesthetics and mutations and life stories and relationships. We all put pieces of our soul into these homemade heroes. We had fun. We found community. And then Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse said, “Wow, great job! You’ve really taken our message to heart. Well, get ready for even more of everything you liked from the first movie and a new message to complement the first. Anyone can be Spider-Man… and anyone can be pulled into a cult.”

So now we all have to contemplate whether our lovingly crafted heroes would ever be on Team Mandatory Trauma Because Martyr Complex or not and why.

Things I learned about Andrew Larson

So, I decided to listen to Andrew Larson voice lines after Divination class (because I just found out you can do this) and here are some things I found out about him!

PSA: Because he shares the same VA as Ominis and Eric, the two of them might have said these same lines although I haven't heard these ones from them. Andrew and Ominis' voices are slightly different so I only wrote down the ones that sounded different than Ominis'. So take all of these with a grain of salt because they may just be random NPC lines!

-Enjoys potions a LOT. Talks about it constantly. -Has a toad, loves the toad, but wishes he had and owl. -Has three older sisters, all of whom used the same wand that he has now. -He ran into Adelaide Oakes by accident after being distracted by Peeves and sent her books flying everywhere. -His dad wanted him to be the Ravenclaw Seeker. -His great-aunt was a Hufflepuff. -The way he speaks is very interesting. He uses slang, shortens words unlike Ominis who shares the same VA, and has pretty long voice lines. Which is the biggest way to tell their voices apart. And his is slightly deeper. -Didn't meet any of his cousins until he attended school and they were all sorted into Ravenclaw. -Loves helping others with their homework.

What do you think is the most character accurate fic you've ever read??

Ever read? That's an impossible question lmao. I have been reading fanfics since i was twelve. I have read fanfics I don't even remember 🫡

Obviously it's a subjective question to begin with but part of the fun of fanfic to me is exploring different avenues for characters according to different author's preferences and putting blorbos into incredibly un-canon Situations. But in a lot of those settings what is "in-character" is even more thrown asunder because it's so far removed from anything that would even remotely happen in canon.

I guess what I mean by that is a lot of the fics I read and love don't necessarily align with my personal ideas of/headcanons for a character, yet still remain "character accurate" in my esteem, if you will (I'm thinking, for example, of that one Gay!Roy fic which is EXCELLENT and incredibly in-character imo and yet I still don't personally think Roy The Character is gay. But even though that's generally not how I think of his sexuality I still liked exploring that alternative verse and still recognized that story's Roy as Roy. Does that make sense?)
