The fact that Scott starts to panic slightly because he doesn't know what to do, and Stiles recognizes that immediately.

The fact that Scott looks to Stiles for a solution, and Stiles already has one for him.

The fact that Scott looks at him in surprise and immediately says "not without you" because that means leaving his best friend stranded and, more importantly, not having him at his side and he hates that.

The fact that Stiles immediately comforts Scott by more or less reminding him that he has a better shot of finding Derek than the rest of them do and telling him that he'll do everything he can to keep the rest of the pack safe and get things figured out.

The fact that Scott has so many reservations about this and clearly hates this plan and is so close to saying no again.

The fact that Stiles gives him that little encouraging pat on the chest and gestures him to Braeden so that they can leave on time.

The fact that only after much support and encouragement from Stiles is Scott finally able to decide that it's okay to keep going without the rest of the pack.

1) What made you ship it?

i think it kind of reminded me of a ship from a lengthy fanfiction of another fandom entirely 😅 at least, that's what first convinced me of that particular dynamic* -- fiery woman with a very strong temper and very even-keeled man with a steel spine who can weather her storms until she chills the fuck out, haha. i feel like they would balance out well, esp because at their cores, they do share the same compassion and dedication to doing good. Lydia had to grow into hers, but that's not a bad thing. also they make one hell of a battle couple. (thinking of Morgana/Leon from the BBC Merlin fic series Loaded March, if anyone's curious)

they're just so fucking cute, ok. they're goddamn adorable. they're all shy smiles and earnest eye contact and bashful overtures. i love the high-school-ness of them in the midst of all the enormously traumatizing supernatural bullshit going on around them, that they can still manage to be and want to be normal, sweet, simple. i want that for them. and i'm still sad that they didn't get it.

2) What are your favorite things about the ship?

that none of their conflict really comes from within the relationship itself. i crave that sometimes, couples that just are and the drama that interferes isn't because of stupid shit they themselves do. they just want to be together and if the supernatural bullshit would fucking LET THEM, they would be fine!! let them go on a fucking date!!! also the way they're so comfortable with each other that they (Scott, let's be real here, just Scott 😂) keeps forgetting that important milestones in the relationship haven't already happened. literally canon that their first kiss was an absent-minded casual We Do This All The Time, Right? goodbye kiss between classes that made Kira.exe stop working and it took until the next class period for Scott to realize OH GOD WE'VE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE, aldkfhakdfgh. and then he did it again with the i love yous!!! it's so fucking cute, i love them.

currently reading: i haven’t had much time for reading recently because of finals but now that i’m graduated and i know my sister is getting me books for christmas i’m hoping to get back into it more. and in terms of fics i am actually hanging onto every update of green zone <3

last movie: in theaters it was wakanda forever (twice) but i also pirated the cam version of the menu last week because i was desperate to see redheaded anya taylor joy but too cheap and too busy to go see it in person. both very excellent. the menu was not about what i thought it was gonna be at all tho 😭 oh and my father decided to watch a very corny hallmark movie last night called the 9 kittens of christmas and i indulged him by sitting through it because it was about cats.

currently watching: i have multiple episodes of 911 to catch up on but i decided to rewatch s3 of teen wolf again, i just started willow because they have a knight/princess sapphic couple (thats canon!!!!), and also the world cup just ended so i was busy watching that too (last match almost gave me a heart attack i was covering my face and feeling ill every time the scores were re-tied).

consuming: now that i am no longer living in a dorm or on a dining hall plan i am eating any and everything to make up for my past few months of torture and deprivation.

Today, Noshiko is sending someone over to check on his progress, and all he’ll have to show is a few stale peppermint cookies left over from a few days before, and dozens and dozens of sweet caramel apple spice cupcakes that taste—perfect. He doesn’t mean to carve his own pumpkin, but he can make a damn good cupcake—that’s how he got the job.

Reasons to love the fic: This is the sweetest Nightmare Before Chrismtas/Teen Wolf fic that could exist. The scira of it all is so cute. But I also just love how Scott doesn't want his tricks to be toooo trick. It's so fun!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ENDING OF THAT EPISODE OMG!!

Okay first of all, you can tell I'm not Scott OR Stiles, because it took me until seeing Rhys with the burn bandages in the hospital bed to realize that RHYS was the one the Nogitsune possessed, and it took me until she said "Eichen House", plus the accompanying visual, to establish that the Eichen House is on the same plot of land as the Oak Creek Internment Camp was. XD

ANYWAYS!

That's so freaking sad, and I feel so bad for Noshiko, because in a rage over what had happened to Rhys, she invoked something even worse, and she regretted it instantly, and now there's no coming back from that. And the fact that he said "coup de foudre" right before he died I CAN'T. :( :( :(

THAT SAID!

The f*cking looks and emotions and lines in the rest of those sequences I CANNOT.

Okay since we're here, starting with Scott, Kira, Ken, and Noshiko.

The fact that Kira looks over at Scott when her mom says it can mean "love at first sight" just SENT ME omg. And then on top of that, the way they keep exchanging looks, and she keeps looking at him for comfort, and he keeps nodding and encouraging her along, and then when he looks at her in just utter awe and amazement and pride when she manages to put the sword back together (also as an aside, Kira's bad*ssery and sass with the "I just found out your 900 years old. I don't think I'll ever trust you again." we love her. <3 <3). And then, after all of that, Noshiko, having been angry at Scott's presence and bitter at the idea of wolves to begin with, ends with looking at Scott with "And maybe seek out a wolf to help you." I CANNOT! I LOVE SCIRA SO FREAKING MUCH!! WHEN DO THEY KISS?! I WANT THEM TO KISS!!

And then, in all of this, Noshiko only further confirms that, as far as she's concerned, the only way to save Stiles is to kill him, and Scott is having NONE of that, and the LINES, dude.

"Sometimes, history does repeat itself, Scott." "Only if you don't learn." "But sometimes even then, fate conspires against you."

I mean, D*MN.

That said, I am obviously with Scott in not killing Stiles, and I fully support this plan, which is why I love, with every fiber of my being, the anger and determination in his face when he says "There's a way to save him. There has to be." Because that is his BEST FRIEND, his BROTHER (Noshiko even admitted that herself), and the last thing he will do is resort to killing him. Never in a million years.

And then we have our little group of four. First of all, that transition was EPIC, going from the sword lighting up to the chess board. I was all for that, OMG.

Secondly, that whole sequence was so good. Everyone working together to figure out Void Stiles' message, but Noah being the one to ultimately break it down and acknowledge that there's more to it than meets the eye, because he's RIGHT. The Nogitsune is a trickster, not a killer, and there HAS to be more to it than just wanting to trap them and kill them.

"All we have to do is come up with a new punch line."

I FREAKING LOVE YOU NOAH!! YES!! LET'S DO THIS!!! LET'S GO TRICK THE TRICKSTER AND FIGURE THIS THING OUT AND SAVE STILES!!!

And then that ENDING. The transitions. OMG that set-up was terrifying, but so f*cking beautiful and well-done.

With Noshiko narrating as it goes through her flashback of hiding the Nogitsune in the nemeton, and then the transition to Scott, Stiles, and Allison coming out of the tubs after their sacrifice, and all the little clips of the nemeton falling apart until it eventually released the Nogitsune, all leading up to Stiles in the loft, with his dad opening the door behind him.

"They let the demon out of its cage."

And Void Stiles turns, and Dylan's got that extra little darkness in his eyes that shows he's not the Stiles we know and love, and you get...

"Hi, dad."

OH MY GOD THAT WAS SO GOOD.

And now we immediately watch the next episode because I cannot possibly leave off on that.

Let's f*cking go, because I'm ready (but also so not ready) to see how all of this goes horribly wrong, since we're still two episodes away from the finale...

(I feel like they're gonna find a way to somehow parallel this exact scene, but then alter it somehow because Scott and Kira will NOT repeat history and kill someone they care about, and I can see the integration of that being so cool and I'm honestly so excited. <3)

first of all, we’re starting with positives; i’m glad ally a is back. she never should have died in the first place.

but man, fuck that trailer for not even fucking mentioning kira. like, the amount of (continued) disrespect, it makes me so mad. how are you gonna rehash the nogitsune storyline and not have kira, who has ties to the nogitsune, there?! second of all: the kid scott saves in the trailer - that little girl - had better be a tiny little kitsune sent to him by kira or something like that. let them have a khalida-esque figure in their midst too. just this cute tiny kid who is way older than people assume or realize and talks like it too. and third of fucking all: scira endgame or bust.

for all i wanted indian characters and proper indian lore written into this world, i’m now glad that they’ve not done any of that (or so i assume). also: what the hell did they do to mason?! they couldn’t have made him the new emissary instead?!

(not to be nitpicking but i feel like they could have done so much more with so many characters. and i know it’s only the trailer, but i doubt that they’re gonna go in depth with the already established lore the way they could.)

also also: the tw twitter account was like “besties what do we think?” and i almost responded with:  i (one of the many aforementioned besties) think that you're missing an integral character. perhaps you've heard of her: she goes by the name of kira yukimura.

Scira was my favourite Scott ship I know that's exactly a popular opinion but they are.

I think they're really cute together and I liked how their relationship started off really sweet and adorably in comparison to the start of Isaac/Allison's relationship. Both had quite different vibes, I found it interesting seeing the difference in the relationships Scott and Allison got into after their breakup.

Scott and Kira were good together and they were kinda similar in a way. Kira wasn't instantly popular the way Allison was, she was kind of an outcast the way Scott used to be. In fact one of Kira's scenes before she's integrated into the pack has her sat against a wall eating alone before Scott approaches her. Kira also thought she looked like a demon and worried she was evil when she didn't know much about what she was and Scott reassured her she wasn't and it reminds me of the fears he had about his werewolf self at the start.

In fact they were both so accepting of each others supernatural side. Its one thing I love about them. Kira asked Scott to see his wolf form at one point after she found about him. I rewatched it and you can see how tense and worried he is for her reaction but she's so soft and caring to him, gently touching his face too. He'd never had that before- you can see his shock too. A lot of people's first reaction to seeing him that way was fear even his mother and Allison, although ended up accepting him, were fearful at first.

I can see also Scott and Kira happening if Scott wasn't bitten too. They were both kinda outcasts with little to no friends, they totally could have ended up on each others radar even without the supernatural stuff.

Scott and Kira should have been endgame. Feels like they only had Sc*lia because they thought the MC needed to have a love interest at the end (which he didn't, especially not such a random and out of nowhere ship).

Scallison: I loved them together! Scott is a total flirt season 1 and they are so cute. I think they were the perfect pairing to start the series off with. They were passionate and they weren’t perfect.

Scira: Oh my goodness cuteness overload! They were so awkward with each other and they had a whole season to build up to it. They were cute but they were also passionate with each other.

Scalia: They were the most physical pairing out of Scott’s. I wasn’t a big fan of them but that my opinion. They had a bond that not many others had and they were there for each other every time.

Scott cares for all of his partners with his whole heart. With Allison, he wanted what was best for her, even if that meant that he wasn’t part of the solution. With Kira, it broke his heart to let her leave for New Mexico. When he got her back all he wanted to do was help her. He knew that he had to let her go in the end but he kept a piece of her with him. He is Malia’s tether to Beacon Hills, she stayed not just because they needed her, she stayed for Scott, even with her anchor across the country.

Non canon ship that I love

Please don’t kill me, but if I had to ship Scott with someone that wasn’t canon... it would be Stiles.

I prefer their bromance and friendship, but I wouldn’t have been against them being together. They both love each other so much and I think if they ended up together they would end up being Endgame.

1. Allira (they are the hottest and most powerful couple)

2. Kira/Isaac (oh they would be so sweet and cute)

3. Malira (dman their sexual tension was real, they cared about each other)

4. Scira (the softest ship, best development)

5. Kydia (I prefer them as friends but they would also be cute as a couple)

6. Theo/Kira (they would be so hot, best looking couple, prefer them as friends tho)

7. Kira/Erica (would be an one time thing, can't actually see them as friends)

8. Kira/Derek (would like to see them as friends but nothing more)

9. Stira (neither like them as friends nor as a couple)

The most heartfelt break-up/goodbye-scenes on screen (part 1)

I wanna start by saying that I really ship some of these couples so hard while some of them I definitely don’t.  Some of these couples got back together later. Despite these numbers, these are not in an specific order in my mind.

1) Malec (They are my ultimate OTP, and there are no words how thrilled I am that they are married and happily together. Both of these scenes are just so beautifully written and splendidly acted, that I can’t still to this day watch these without crying.)

2) Captain Swan (goodbye from 5x20)

(Gosh, this still hurts… even after these two lovelies luckily got their happy ending, this scene remains one of the favorite scenes in the series. Their tears and broken smiles, their advices and wishes for each other, the moment he has to let go of her hand…everything. I didn’t want to put 6x14 here, since I always saw it more like they both wanted to think things through - not as a break up or goodbye.)

3) Finchel

(This couple really wasn’t really my cup of tea, I have to admit. They were cute at he beginning and there were some great moments even later on, but something makes me see them as quite toxic and wonder if they had worked as a couple in the long run. I wanna point out that this has nothing to do with Cory: He seemed like a very nice person, portrayed Finn wonderfully and his death is still heartbreaking and sad. Back to the scene...somehow I really liked it, especially Rachel’s speech and her standing up for herself and encouraging Finn to move on.)

4) Stelena

(These two are my “they never should’ve broken up in the first place”-couple. Whether they are breaking up, memorizing their relationship or saying goodbye...their connection and chemistry just amazes me every time. Plus, Elena’s goodbye scene with Bonnie and Caroline was weeping-material as well.)

5) Klamille

(My Originals-OTP... this scene as a whole is just too freaking heartbreaking, especially when she was just about to find out what good vampire life could be… “I will carry you with me.” “I guess that makes me immortal.” Gosh.. </3 I loved Cami from the bottom of my heart and I think she left too soon. ) 

6) Klayley

(There’s a small part of me that shipped them, but I also loved them as platonic, supporting parents who learned to understand and respect each other. Even though they didn’t get a proper goodbye-scene, this little scene always breaks my heart.)

7) Clexa

(Do I need to say anything to this? So much love, so much potential, such a heartfelt goodbye and so sudden and shocking death. Life is sometimes so unfair.. :’( ) 

8) Hazel and Gus

(When Hazel reads Gus her epilogy, my heart just aches everytime. No matter if It's the movie or the book, it's always the same emotional rollercoaster.)

9) Allison and Scott

(Even if I ended up being a huge Scira-shipper, leaving this out of this list would’ve felt utterly wrong. Allison was wonderful, greatly missed and well-developed character and the fact that Crystal’s request of Allison to confess Scott her love during her last moments was heard makes this even more bittersweet.)

10) Jack and Rose

(You truly didn’t think I was gonna leave this out, did you? Still to this day… iconic, heart-wrenching and hard to understand. The way he encourages her to keep going and never give up... and she begs him to wake up.. big ouch for my emotions.)

11) Tyler and Caroline

(I will probably defend this couple until my dying day. *haha* This scene has stayed in my mind for some reason. How she tells him to move on and be happy and Tyler convinces her that they will find a way… *big thumbs up* They did this couple so dirty!)

12) Belle and Rumple

(This couple goes to same category as Finchel. I liked them in the beginning, but their story became somehow repetitive and toxic and I realized that Belle would’ve deserved much better, as a part of the ship and as an individual character. However, I can’t deny that their last episode and goodbye were really beautiful with their flashbacks and UP-references. Yes, I cried. “More than a few times…”)

13) Pocahontas and John

(Next, a few dives into the animation…Even though I usually root for historical accuracy, I like to pretend that the sequel didn’t happen. “No matter what happens, I’ll always be with you. Forever.” Oh, if that had only happened that way…)

14) Hiro and Baymax

(I never guessed that this movie would become one of my favorite animated movies, but it happened. It describes dealing with loss so amazingly. And this exact scene is one of my favorites. “No, please...I can’t lose you too.” “Hiro… I’ll always be with you.” “I’m satisfied with my care.” It’s okay, I didn’t need my heart anyway…)
