I Am All In Rewatch - Jess & Rory - Episode 2x22
I was not expecting that. That was really no, that was really a great moment. I w you know, when they can surprise you, that surprised me. And I, I thought it was terrific. I loved it because it's just, it's just, you know what I said, after that, I said, ah, young love. -Scott

Looking back at Girl Meets World, it will forever irritate me especially for how they handled/treated Angela. Oh this show really hated black women because how do you not only 1.) describe her, one of (correct me if I'm wrong) only few black and MAIN characters of the og show, as a "concept" 2.) have characters show obvious disgust at the small mention of her name 3.) depict her as a homewrecker for a new relationship that, really, shouldn't have ever happened 4.) have her old friends treat her like dirt and her old lover like she is the root of his problems, when there was nothing but positive love there 5.) reuse all the concepts from said previous love story just to elevate the new ship with a yte woman and 6.) compare her to Hurricane Katrina, one of the deadliest hurricanes that caused significant numbers of death, harm, misplacement, and trauma to people, largely of whom were black? Mind you, all these points I mentioned were toward the only main black character of the OG show before the spinoff, and the only, from what I can remember, black female character of the spinoff who didn't even stay long. Not even getting into the racist drama with some of the members on set, but you cannot look me in the eye and tell me that the way the show handled Angela, her story, and her relationship with the other characters + Shawn wasn't fucking disrespectful, you can't because I won't believe you.

So (Disney’s) Snow White left an abusive household after finding out her only relative wanted to murder her, suffered a full mental breakdown ALONE in THE WILDERNESS, cleaned up a stranger’s home because she believed it belonged to orphaned children & knew how hard it was to be without a mother, talked her way into a new family & made a new life for herself AND YET PEOPLE ARE STILL OUT THERE CRAPPING ON MY SWEET GIRL BECAUSE HER VOICE IS A LITTLE SQUEAKY & SHE DAYDREAMED ABOUT HER CRUSH (who was possibly the only person to show her genuine kindness in YEARS before she met the dwarves)?? Some of y’all need to take a moment to dwell on the beauty & truth of the fact that some of our oldest stories were once so beloved because they were about survivors who broke free of their past with kindness & grace & the fact Snow specifically did so while fitting into a traditional homemaker role (she carved out for herself!) & longing for romance does not mean she is not strong or that her story is too dated to share with the next generation for fear it will corrupt their young minds. If we as storytellers only portray one kind of borderline-cynical strength in children’s stories for fear of sentimentality being seen as old fashioned it eventually it will lead to the next generation mistaking their own quiet strengths for weaknesses the same way the ones before them have.

... is M.D. My Durge?
Okay. So. When I first started playing Durge, I didn’t know how heavy it was going to be on the horror. I am an absolute weenie about horror games so I decided to give my durges dumb pun names to undercut any potential tension. So M.D. could be My Durge, Monk Durge, or Milf Durge. But originally picked that pseudonym because her in game name is Mildread.

sometimes being trans is an endless battle to appear overly welcoming and loveable in an effort to be accepted n other times it’s your roommate putting pink and blue beads behind the new leaves that haven’t unfurled yet on your favorite plant because she doesn’t have any white ones
