Me: Reading a YA book where the protagonist is involved with a hot, noble, kind man (who is the unwilling heir of a shady magical organization) but also has great chemistry with a hot, talented, dangerous man (who is the unwilling bodyguard of the unwilling heir in the same shady magical organization).

Me: Honestly the bodyguard and the heir have chemistry too. This is one of those reads that's gonna go ~love triangle~ I'm sure, but polyamory is *right there*.

Book, 2 seconds later: Hot bodyguard admits he fell in love with the heir.

Me: Huh!

#i have no faith its not gonna stick to more of the triangle setup #but that was a nice change of pace!#book is Legendborn by Tracy Deonn #we will see where it goes

the fact that they made the gameplay mechanics actually lean more on solving puzzles and strategy because her element is wisdom

#I LIKE THAT A LOT ACTUALLY like that makes a lot of sense #thats not saying link doesnt use his head in dungeons but when u play as him it relies a lot on physical ability #even botw and totk with the scaling mountains and stuff feels like smth you can’t exactly do as zelda #or at least it would feel a little out of character??#so this is a really nice change of pace I can’t wait to play it #OH AND THEY KEPT THE BOTW ZORA DESIGNS I think this works way better to tell them apart from river zora #yapping #echoes of wisdom #loz #loz echoes of wisdom #Nintendo direct

What I say: I’m fine

What I mean: The Owl House is a show that values love and relationships and none of them are seen as superior to any other. The platonic bonds between characters like Willow and Gus are treated with the same weight as the romantic bonds between characters like Amity and Luz.

#puyo puyo #ringo ando #ecolo #necolo #i guess i can tag necolo separately lmao even if its the same chara #took part in the eppc drawpile n drew ringo! ive been wanting to draw something little red for such a long time #ever since i properly listened to drama 3-3 and clocked ecolo saying 'the uniform's nice but the dress is a nice change of pace!'#and i zoned in on it immediately. as someone given access to working hands i am able to draw ringo in more dresses and by god im doing it #(even if technically this is a blouse-skirt combo. shh)#also while coloring i tried to limit my palette as much as i could #so everything that shares a color is the same shade and all #much easier to color and it looks cool so win-win!#took artistic liberty with ecolo by making him grey instead of blue but such are the perils. of self-imposed limitations #i traded that out by making the green more blue to fit his original palette as opposed to ringo #(since she got the majority of first color decisions anyway)#anyway it was fun. i love drawing what i personally want to see and making it everyone else's problem #my stuff

Harvey is mid bank heist when he hears “Harv? Is that you? It’s been so long!” From one of his hostages. Oh that voice was so incredibly familiar there’s no way-

Well he’ll be damned. Jack and Maddie Fenton, the couple he had a momentary fling with in college were pushing through the crowds and fully ignoring his goons pointing half a dozen guns at them as they made their way towards him.

Harvey couldn’t believe it. Jack and Maddie were still deeply in love and as crazy as ever, but they kept reaching out to him. They didn’t seem to mind him as the broken man that he is unlike another college friend. They treated him like a person. They didn’t expect his therapy and treatment to magically change him back to how he was, they just were happy that he was happy.

They mentioned once before that they messed up with how they treated their son but they realized their mistake and did their absolute damndest to make it up to their kids. They weren’t going to villainize their college ex. They were going to support him and be for him every step of the way.
