so i gotta move for the third time in that many years. unfortunately between health problems and the General State of The Economy, I have been unable to find work to be able to save any money. i have no choice but to leave the entire state. i thankfully have somewhere to go, however I need help getting there. i've been trying to do the math to get what I need to its lowest amount possible, but even that is still at least $2.5k.

after this move, i should be able to get things more stable and I might even have a couple job prospects lined up in that area, but right now I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel funds wise and desperately need help.

if you're able to spare anything, i've set up a goal through kofi so i can track it publicly. i have trouble asking for help but i really need what help i can get. thank you, so so so much.

What art tips would you recommend?

1) EXERCISE. stretch ur wrists, buy tiny weights to build strength in them, go on walks so ur legs don’t die from sitting all the time idk if ur only like 14 or something, start doing it nowwww

2) raise ur pen/brush sensitivities so u don’t have to press as hard on ur screens and lower ur stabilization if u hate lineart

3) It Is Always Okay To Pirate PDF Art Resources.

4) learn to love the process bc there will be often times where the end result drawing is not what u like and if ur only drawing for that end result you’ll go crazy. find a pen that Feels Good to use and makes u happy or something like that

5) don’t post on tiktok/reels if ur a beginner artist. they r mean over there in ways that is abnormal

6) tone curve + posterization can make ur colors real funky fun

7) don’t worry abt style consistency, that’ll develop naturally overtime

8) never pay for adobe. you’ll find a way

I’d say they’d get along pretty well! I think they’d probably have a cousin-adjacent relationship with each other. Gets on your nerves (affectionate)

Quinn (Fem Sniper)’s connection to Sniper is that she was a family friend. Her mom was close with his parents (my current thought process is that her mom was a fruit shop owner and would come and drop things off at their house sometimes bc it seems like they live basically in the middle of Fuck All, Nowhere.) And Quinn n Sniper would fuck around together bc there wasn’t exactly much else to do. Buddies, pals even!

They’ve got very different approaches to their jobs and I think that would be a point of contention (Sniper takes great pride in his job, Quinn is a big fan of fucking around and finding out and generally does not give as much of a shit) but outside of work they’d get along fine! She probably gives him shit for being younger than her (respect your elders) and he gives her shit for being lame. Tradeoff!
