anyway I just finished replaying red dead redemption 1 and holy fucking shit it’s about how in the end john never found redemption even though he did everything right and everything he was supposed to and how he was still killed for his past crimes and sins. it’s about how john and abigail did all this for their son so he could live the life he deserved and not grow up in violence and abuse like they did, it’s about how jack resented his father for leaving and was scared he’d do it again but how he nonetheless looked up to him and all he wanted to do was make his father proud. about how had has dreams about being a politician, a writer, an adventurer and in the end gave it all up and became an outlaw to avenge his father, which is the last thing john ever wanted him to be. but he did it for his father, for love, and for revenge, and thus continuing the circle of violence . it’s about the undeniably tragedy of it all.

Hmm I'd say I'm like, 2.8? I'm pretty basic and don't do much editing but my stories are good and I'm proud of them!

2. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works?

I think I excel at fluffy family fics. I just love writing good dads being sweet with their kids, especially daughters. Another thing that makes me stand out is how I write autistic!reader. I haven't seen anyone else write that for the Chris Evans fandom (not including Steve) so I'm proud to be the one to do it.

3. Are there any writers that inspire you?

Everyone in the server is so talented and they all inspire me in different ways. @a-lumos-in-the-nox puts out story after story with her OC and Ron Weasly and I just love that! Especially as someone who wants to start writing more OCs. @flordeamatista’s writing is so poetic and beautiful and I admire it so much

4. What’s the fic you’re most proud of?

I'm pretty proud of my Suburban Dad Sunday verse. It's done so well but it's also just very fun for me to write and it's letting me explore characters that I hadn't written for previously.

5. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write and which do you find most difficult to write?

Jake Jensen is definitely the easiest. Idk he's just so sweet and fun and the vibes are immaculate with him! The most difficult would probably be any dark character

6. Who or what do you find yourself writing about most?

I write a lot about Jake and fluff/hurt and comfort.

7. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about!

I have a Lloyd Hansen fic with a living music box ballerina. It'll be a giant/tiny fic which I know isn't super popular but I find it so comforting and I'm excited to share it!

Probably my most recent one with Jake Jensen x Reader x Ari Levinson. H-O-T-T-O-G-O was my first time writing a throuple and it was interesting!

I love writing Lloyd Hansen and his Reader for SDS. He's just so funny and petty and it's fun to see his shenanigans!

No, I get too distracted. I need it to be quiet while I write. I do have playlists to help me get into the right headspace or to help with muse.

All the time! Although I feel like most of my fics are little side quests to one big story/universe. I want to do more with The Purrfect Pair- Kitten is so cute and there's lots of potential for mischief with her and Wanda.

16. Is there anything you’ve wanted to write, but you’ve been too scared to try?

Soooo many things. I want to write a smutty series but smut is just so hard for me to write for some reason. I admire those who write it so effortlessly!

There are many comments that I hold near and dear to my heart. Recently I got a comment from @thezombieprositute who said my ability to turn simple prompts into heart warming stories was a testament to my skills and it really made my day.

18. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out?

A long time ago I wrote a Wanda Maximoff x Steve Rogers Halloween fic. It was on my old account so it isn't around anymore, though I might repost it here. It was definitely a challenge as it was more involved and took a lot of world building. It turned out okay, but maybe I'll revisit it and do some editing!

It was a chaste, puckered lips type of kiss and yet it still made your heart flutter from excitement. You both carried on as if nothing happened, never brought it up when you were sober. You eventually decided the incident was merely drunken shenanigans and nothing more, although a part of you wanted to feel his plush lips against yours again.

For me, a lot of the fun of telling romantic stories is I that get to center the things that I love about the way some men love. I don't need it to be all-consuming (altho we love that too lol) but I do always want it to be steadfast and unwavering. And therefore like so many of my stories end up containing that kind of steadfast love that waits for you until you are ready!!

Also if you love "guy who's been in love with you forever" stuff I really hope you like world enough and time when I have the spoons for it (anticipating sometime early in the new year actually)!! It's the Bakugou x older reader childhood annoyances to lovers fic I have been promising for years, where he's been in love with us since we were kids hehehehe. The payoff after so many years is gonna be soooo fun to write. 😈

I have soooo many thoughts about the Scott Pilgrim anime.

Unfortunately none of my friends have watched it yet so I'm quietly going insane. Fortunately Tumblr exists! So I get to scream into the void and rave about this gem!!

Going in, I felt the pacing for the first episode felt way too fast?? Was really disappointed because it seemed we skipped too many steps forward to the big fight? Then OHHH boy suddenly it made perfect sense.

Scott, btw, has immaculate rizz. Can't believe it worked.

I was on the fence whether or not that was different good or different bad, but the second episode kept me in. Third episode all but confirmed I wasn't jumping ship at any point

I absolutely ADORE how the other characters in Scott and Ramona's lives get a lot more love. Though we got some hints that the league wasn't all that bad in previous adaptations (well, mainly just the one ex), the anime really fleshes them out and shows hey!! They have their own side of the story!!

About Ramona: I'm glad they made it more believable that she's actually in lesbians with Scott. They switched their positions and instead showed her being the one to go completely gaga over him for the entire show, something the rest of the cast consistently point out makes zero sense!! Total dumbass move on her part. They're perfect for each other god

I know I praise the show for fleshing out characters, but I guess the price for that is some important figures get pushed to the background. I guess being an adaptation it assumes the viewer will have read and watched both the graphic novels and the movie and wouldn't need to know more about these characters? Honestly not too affected by that actually

That being said, the anime doesn't require you to immerse yourself in the preceding comic/movie. People new to the series will still have a blast!! But your viewing experience would be vastly enhanced if you actually did read and watch them because they go well hand-in-hand

The game and the movie had amazing soundtracks, so it's no surprise that the anime would deliver on that front as well (but I might just be a bit biased just because of the mortal kombat theme in the finale)

But actually surprising, is the voice cast was very good?? I knew going in the cast from the film was gonna be the English voice casts, but I was a bit skeptical because live-action actors don't always do a good job doing VA work (LOOKING AT YOU CRISPRAT). There was never a moment where they came off as awkward.

Despite some very glaring changes, the show retains pretty much the same story beats and themes as the book, but with an additional focus on Ramona's own tendency to run away from her problems. The finale still ends with them wanting and trying to be better for each other, but this time everyone gets a happy ending!! So I think that kinda makes it better than everything that came before it

My dad talked about how amazing he thought the Scott Pilgrim movie was and I'm gonna take SO MUCH JOY knowing he'll be seething by the first episode alone. This shit is so gay. Absolute 🔥

if you struggle with self image i really cannot recommend highly enough finding a character who looks and acts like you and reading stories where someone is absolutely, irrevocably in love with them. whether that’s platonically or romantically. i know it’s weird but being able to look in the mirror or at some aspect of my personality that i don’t like and say “that’s still lovable” is WONDERFUL.

Izumi: Have you decided on where you’re going to go for the Summer Troupe training camp yet?

Tenma: Nope, not yet. I was just going to go discuss that right now.

Izumi: Gotcha. Don’t forget to find somewhere that has a good place for you to practice.

Tenma: Yep, got it.

Izumi: By the way, I’m glad you’re able to go to the training camp, Tenma-kun.

Tenma: It’s all thanks to Igawa’s hard work in adjusting my schedule.

Izumi: When I thanked Igawa-san the other day, he said he was able to make the adjustments to your schedule all thanks to your great work ethic.

Tenma: Is that so?

Tenma: Well, I might’ve pushed myself a little harder because I wanted to go to the training camp with those guys…

Izumi: (Fufu, that’s really honest of him. I guess Tenma-kun’s also looking forward to the Summer Troupe training camp.)

Kumon: Good work today, Tenma-san! What were you doing?

Tenma: First off, do you guys have anywhere you wanna go?

Muku: How about our usual training camp? The one with the sunflower fields.

Yuki: Well, when I think of a Summer Troupe training camp, that is the first place that comes to mind.

Kazunari: We all have supes good memories of that place, I love, love, looooove it there! 

Tenma: But the purpose of this training camp is to get a change of scenery and see new things so we can work out what we want our part of the spin-off to be about.

Kumon: Now that you say that, maybe some other place would be better!

Muku: It’d also be pretty exciting to go somewhere other than our usual training camp.

Misumi: Yeah, yeah! I wanna go somewhere where we can look at the stars! 

Kumon: Yeah, the sky has been pretty cloudy here lately, so it’s been super hard to see the stars.

Muku: With the clear winter air, I’m sure the stars would look really beautiful! 

Kazunari: I’m def loving the idea of having our training camp somewhere where we can see the stars! Getting absolutely immaculate vibes from it! 

Yuki: Sounds like it could be just the thing we need to figure out what to do with the spin-off.

Tenma: It does take place in space after all. 

Kumon: Then how about we go to the best place in Japan to see the prettiest stars!?

Kazunari: You’re a genius, Kumopi! That’s a ten outta ten, absolute banger idea! 

Misumi: I agree! Let’s all go and see the pretty, sparkly stars together~!

Yuki: Okay, so where is this place where we can see the prettiest stars?

Kumon: Eh, I dunno.

Kazunari: I’ll look it up! Hm~m… ah, here! 

Kazunari: This place offers tours to see the best starry skies in all of Japan in the village that’s said to be the best place to go! 

Kazunari: Here, this is the tour site!

Muku: Waah, what a romantic gondola ride atop the mountains! 

Misumi: The pictures of the starry sky are super pretty~.

Kumon: That’s soooo cool! Now that’s a star-filled sky! 

Yuki: Seems like there’s a lot to do there AND it’d make a good training camp.

Tenma: Alright, then let’s have the Summer Troupe training camp in this village here.

Kumon: Hey, I know it’s supposed to be a training camp, but can we go sightseeing and stuff when we’re not rehearsing?

Tenma: Sure. I’d say that having fun counts as another purpose of this trip. 

Kazunari: ‘Kay then, let’s decide on what else we wanna do there next!

Tenma: Looks like that’s about everything.

Kazunari: Oui, oui! So first, we need a car, so we can rent one when we’re on our way over~.

Kumon: Then we’re gonna stay at a ryokan that’s got a hot spring that’s famous for making your skin all nice! 

Yuki: Then we reserve a room at the ryokan for rehearsals and practice there.

Muku: And then when we’ve got free time, we can go to that café that has drinks themed after the starry sky and space…

Tenma: And if we’ve got time, we can visit some temples and that natural art museum too.

Tenma: And then once it’s night, we take that starry sky tour.

Misumi: And then we stop at the gift shop on the way back! 

Kumon: This is gonna be so much fun! 

Kazunari: Totes! I’ll get to making all the reservations ‘n stuff! 

Misumi: Do you need help with anything, Kazu? I wanna help~.

Kazunari: For realsies? Thanksies, Sumi~! Could you go and reserve the rental car then?

Misumi: Mhm, got it!

Muku: Kazu-kun, Misumi-san, thank you so much!

Kumon: Thanks!

Tenma: Seems like it’s all decked out for relaxing.

Kazunari: Alrighty, first things first is to send Director-chan a LIME.

Kumon: Ah, yeah! Umm… Director, we’re in our room right now…

Misumi: We’re here, Director-san~... there.

Yuki: Hah? You’re seriously all sending your own LIMEs? We just needed to send one.

Kazunari: C’mon, you don’t wanna send Director-chan a LIME too? Don’t you know it’s like, supes fun to give live updates via LIME when you’re out traveling! 

Muku: Fufu, I definitely get wanting to do that.

Tenma: Alright, how about once we get settled a bit, we talk about the spin-off?

Kumon: Yeah, yeah, discussing that is all important and stuff, but we DID come to a village that’s famous for its hot springs, so that can all wait until after we got to the hot springs! 

Tenma: Right now!?

Yuki: Is it really that weird for people to go to the hot springs right after they arrive?

Misumi: I wanna go to the hot springs with Kumon! 

Kazunari: Hell yeah~! I’m right there with ya! 

Muku: If you guys are all going, I want to go too.

Tenma: So you’re not just getting settled a bit, you’re getting entirely settled, huh?

Kumon: We got all cold ‘cause it was so snowy outside, so we’ve gotta warm up first! Don’t wanna catch a cold!

Tenma: Ugh, guess I can’t argue. Alright, let’s all go to the hot springs first.

Okay, I finished episode one of Neverafter last night and I am SOOOO excited to see Barbarian Emily and little shit Zac, and Ally's vibes so far are *immaculate*. I think Murph and Siobhan play off each other really well as royals, and Lou and Zac teaming up was so chaotic, there is no way they could survive just the two of them 🤣 And we're getting an Ally/Emily team up with Ally being the (so far) more grounded one. As much as horror is not my bag, the fairy tale setting helps and the story is already so interesting! Plus the cast cringing along with me helps too. I'm really excited to see where things go!

I’ve been a silent reader but I can’t be any more bc you have to know just how amazing your work is! I just caught up on love and power and OH MY GOD?????! The entire fic is written amazingly! Like I was drawn into the story since day one, but then as the story progressed it felt like it got even better (didn’t think that was even possible but here we are) and I am hoooooked.
