"hey rockstar." i said as i walked towards tom, putting hands in my jackets pockets. "hey stinky" tom said smiling as we both walked side to side walking out of the school building.

"congrats on durch den monsun. my best friends a rockstar now! i'm so proud of you." i laughed, playing with the straps on my backpack. "thanks y/n.. i can't believe bill made me sing though." tom said shaking his head.

"but you did good! when i heard you i was like oh my god tom singing! you should sing more honestly." i smiled hooking my arm around his. "ugh hell no." tom said sticking his tongue out in disgust, locking his arm with mine.

"you sing wayyy better than me. look. ICh mUSS durcH den MonsUUNN, Hinter die WelLLt." i began trying to hit the notes. "okay okay i heard enough." tom laughed as we both erupted in a fit of laughter.

"hey y/n.." i gave a 'hm' noticing toms pace slowed, the snow crunching beneath our feet. "we're leaving germany." my eyes widened "oh.." looking away i moved my hair in front of my eyes, trying hide my now watering eyes.

"Keisuke!" You could only exclaim seeing your exhausted boyfriend on your doorstep, with a mischievous grin.

"Missed you jus a little bit," without asking, he made his way in, taking off his shoes before grabbing your arm and making his way towards your bedroom.

"Slow down a little, why's there a cut on your face?"

You halted and held your hand to his face, tracing your thumb just under it as he stared down at you. He loved these moments where you could gaze up at him. It was one of the times where he could just admire the soft concerned look on your face and he felt loved.

"It's just been a long day" He sits down and his face was sullen, it was clear he was exhausted from the way his eyes drooped and there was a lack of energy. You felt sorry for him and you knew just the way to make him feel better: cuddles. But that could wait.

Sitting down with the first aid, you pat his cut with the cotton pad. He placed a hand on your thigh and grinned once again. He was content. And he couldn't wait for the awaiting cuddles he had in for him when that silly cut of his you insisted on patching up was covered safely in a plaster.

You however, couldn't help but glare at him. Just what was he thinking getting himself hurt? But you can't stay mad forever with the way his hands had a comforting grip and a face with a handsome ass smile.

The second you closed the first aid kit and plastered him up, he tackled you to the bed. Although you would rather die than admit it, you loved seeing him so eager for affection.

"You big oaf, just what got you so affectionate?"

"mm, I lied when I said I missed you only a little bit," He put his head on your chest, "I missed you like crazy to be honest" Boy did you smile almost a little too hard.

"Kei that's so sappy!" patting his head, you snickered but truly and honestly, you were giddy. "Shaddup!" He dug his head closer into the crook of your neck.

There was a comforting silence. The only thing Baji could hear was the rapid sound of your heart beating, if only he knew just how crazy he made you feel. Ignoring his feeling of tiredness, you missed him too so you couldn't help but ask him how his day was.

"It was questionable, the boys made me go crazy today and we took a play fight a little too far" he sighed, "and you weren't answering my texts!" Your eyes shot wide open -

"I'm sososo sorry babe-" He cut you off by covering your mouth with his large hand.

"Don't be love just know it was a hard day without those sappy texts you send" he mimicked some of the things you'd send throughout the day, reminding him to eat and reassuring him to stay strong because he'll be seeing you soon. That was your kind of relationship and he would rather die then see the day you no longer send those texts. But he wouldn’t admit that. You smacked his chest playfully.

“You shouldn’t treat your girlfriend like that kei,”

“My bad, I thought I was dating a beast” and to that you simply attempted to push him off you, rejecting his affection.

“Chillll, was just a joke babe” he snickered.

“Yeah right, go babe someone else!” despite saying this, you took him in again in your arms and felt his breathing calming down. Looking down at him you realised he had his arms snaked around you and he was holding on tight.

“As your beast girlfriend, I shall help you overcome your tiredness love” you soothed your hand up and down his back.

Damn, this fic was darker than I thought it was gonna be. The intro got me so hooked, it was so so good. I can’t help but feel pity for the protagonist :( I’m so invested in this story and I really felt like crying whenever she struggled.

Iirc, you said back then you wouldn’t write for Enha anymore (maybe excluding Jungwon), but seeing your recent posts, I guess you changed your mind. You’re my fave writer fr. it was your week off when you’re suddenly assigned to go on a mission to track down people who have betrayed the fatui, making sure that no one is going out from snezhnaya.

of course, you were very determined in finishing it so that you could spend the rest of your week with scaramouche, who was nothing but displeased with your mission.

“i don’t want you to waste your time over idiots who thought of betraying the fatui.” he said. “you better come back here soon and not miss our anniversary.”

despite your lover having a grudge over the fact that your week is ruined, you still decided to continue your mission and left with a promise that you’ll come back safe.

after two days, you and your team managed to get your hands on the location of the targets and immediately went there, only to get ambushed by your targets and take you back by surprise.

fortunately half of the team that wasn’t injured were able to capture them all and finished the mission—

unfortunately, you’re one of the half of the team who got injured.

by the time your team went back, it’s the day of your anniversary.

“take them to the infirmary, i’ll uhm, follow and head to the tsaritsa about the mission’s success.” you ordered to one of the fatui guards before walking inside the zapolyarny palace.

i’m sure he wouldn’t notice, you thought to yourself as you walk around the cold hallways of the palace, trying to ignore the pain thats throbbing in your leg.

before you could reach to the doors of the tsaritsa’s throne, you suddenly heard his voice.

“where do you think you’re going?” scaramouche asked.

you look behind to see your husband, giving him a cheeky grin. “i miss you too, scaramouche.”

he huffs in response. “you shouldn’t go to her majesty’s throne room about the mission anymore. one of the agents beat you to it.”

you’re taken back by surprise. how did he know that you’re going to tell the tsaritsa?

without letting you reply, scaramouche continues to talk again. “you better go to the infirmary if you haven’t treated your leg yet.”

“i was planning on treating it myself.” you retort. “besides, i wouldn’t want to spend too much time on the injury and miss our anniversary—”

“you’re an idiot,” he interrupted, walking towards you and grabs your hand. “screw the stupid dinner we planned, we can spend our anniversary in the infirmary.” he adds, dragging you away from the doors of the throne room and head towards the infirmary.

“wait, what about our reservation?!” you ask, trying to follow scaramouche’s pace.

he rolls his eyes. “worry about your leg instead of the food.”
