Fun fact pt.3: Anna and Kat have been friends for a little over a year; Anne introduced them to each other thinking that they would've gotten along.

She was right, Anna and Kat are, indeed, good friends, with Kat evidently being more attached to Anna than the other way around; Anne and Jane would often joke about her having caught a crush, which Kat had always denied.

It's not like Anna isn't attached to her, the two of them go along very well, it's just that she's not that good at non superfucial relationships, and takes lots of time before forming one

Towards the end of S8, an episode with the 118 being called on a fire trapping people inside a brand new trendy restaurant and a jewelry store next door. The restaurant's electrical system overloaded and started a fire that quickly reached the store. The security system in the jewelry store short-circuited a moment later because of the overload, keeping the doors locked with people inside, behind reinforced metal curtains.

Once they arrive, they can see someone already evacuated part of the people who were inside the restaurant but the 118 is the first team of first responder to be on site. They manage to evacuate anyone left in the burning restaurant but the security system from the store is hard to breach, even from the backdoor. When they finally manage to contact people inside the store, Buck is shocked: Tommy is among them. He was the one who evacuated people from the restaurant.

They eventually break into the jewelry store and take everyone out. Buck pulls Tommy in a tight hug, his arms trembling.

"What were you doing here?!"

"I was... I was meeting a friend for coffee, just around the corner, and heard the commotion." Tommy lies but hopes his poker face isn't betrayed by the adrenaline wrecking his nerves. "You know I had to do something."

"I'm not letting you go before Hen can take a look at you." Buck gently grabs Tommy's neck so their foreheads touch. "And don't do this again."

What Buck doesn't see is the flat ring box Tommy shoved in his back pocket right in time before things got ugly.

hey! do you consider yourself a furry? if so, do you enjoy being in the community? if not, what label do you use, and why? (been wanting to ask this for a while:))

Sure, I don't mind being called a furry. My art certainly qualifies as furry art and my characters are furry characters. But I've never been that connected or active in the furry fandom in general. There's a lot of core experiences that I'm missing: I don't have a fursona, I don't own a fursuit and I've never been to a furry con. My online circles are very furry-centric but I don't think any of my irl friends consider themselves furries, despite our shared tastes and interests.

Gonna write a longer post about this when I have more time, but I just need to put this out there: I love my Rick and Morty Tumblr mutuals/people I interact with regularly so much. ❤️

I am not joking or exaggerating when I say I didn't know it was possible to be this active in a fandom and also this happy. I've only really been active in the fandom for the past 6 months, and it's been SUCH an overwhelmingly positive experience.

I've been meaning to make a post like this for a while, but two recent things really drove home how much I appreciate you folks: First, I had A Week That Felt Like a Year of Sailor Moon Twitter making me miss being 12 & not knowing anyone else who watches the show. Then, yesterday I opened Tumblr to be greeted by a post that brought up one of the reasons why, after 20+ years, Cowboy Bebop is still my number 1 "I love this show and it means so much to me, but this fandom frequently makes me want to hit my head on walls" series.

Obviously I know there's no shortage of issues in this fandom, too. I mean, there's typically an assortment of them on display in the comments of any post on the official RaM accounts. 😅 And I'm not saying I haven't met some really nice, cool people in my fandoms I've been in forever - I definitely have!!!!!

But this feeling of... Community? Home? This is new territory for me. And it took me longer than it should have to get here, but I'm so glad I did.

I have already rambled longer than I intended to, so now I'm going to attempt to wrap this up by tagging some of the folks who inspired this post.

I just realized the opening cutscene of TOTK is absolutely hilarious once you know the whole story of the Imprisoning War. Like, they had this big, epic battle, ending with Rauru sacrificing his life to seal Ganondorf away, locking him in place for ten thousand years, all based on the hope that Link would be able to strike him down with the Master Sword in the future. Ganondorf waited there for ten thousand years, expecting an absolutely epic final battle against an incredibly skilled warrior wielding a blade more powerful than Rauru and the other sages combined.

...And when Link shows up, it takes Ganondorf about five seconds to fatally wound him and snap the Master Sword like a fucking toothpick. If Rauru hadn't somehow intervened, that would've been it, Link would have been dead right then and there, battle over, the end.

Can you imagine how fucking disappointed Ganon must've been after that? He was looking forwards to an epic battle, not a five second curbstomp. No wonder his reaction to that whole thing was basically just him going "Wait are you serious, was that it? That was the whole fight? I WAITED TEN THOUSAND YEARS FOR THAT!?"

Ganondorf might've kicked our ass without even trying in the opening, but at least he didn't get to enjoy it.

hey so, i wanted to put it out there: if there's someone who you know is a minor, they're lying about their age or whatever it is and i'm interacting with them - don't hesitate to inform me, please.

i think i do a good job spotting minors who break my rules and follow anyway but i will not consider it drama if you're informing me of someone underage and lying to me about their age. if you're trying to police like "did you know a did x, y and z" then we'd have some awkward shit but. if it's a minor. that's different.

i understand not wanting to come off as controlling/as if you're trying to start something but if you're coming from a place of good intent and wanna inform me of a minor or if i did something, a misstep, that's cool! friends holding accountability is a refreshing chapter, i trust we will get through stuff together.
