hello everyone HAPPY 4/13!!! which of course is the date of when one of my favourite piece of media EVER came out. and surprise surprise im not talking abt homestuck this time (maybe later)

Peaceful as Hell is an album by my favourite band Black Dresses and probably one of my favourite albums of all time and it was released 4 years ago on april 13th :]

its jst so important to me for many many personal reasons.. ive never before related this much to any songs as i do to the ones on this album....

IM A FREAK CUZ IM ALWAYS FREAKED OUT (which is where the lyrics in this drawing r from), BLISS AND STUPIDITY, PLEASE BE NICE, CREEP U, LEFT ARM OF LIFE and MiRRORGiRL all speak to me SO much and perfectly describe my everyday struggles with social life, self identity, self worth and self expression. this whole album brings me such comfort and reassurance, it made me realize that im not alone in those struggles and helped me persevere and many times gave me strength to keep working towards getting better and happier!!!!!! it also helped me not give up on pretty much everything during a Very Difficult and depressing time of my life. like. idk where i would be without this album

besdies that it also jst. describes my emotions so well. puts them into words that i could never find and makes me understand myself better :3

I LOVE THIS ALBUM and i love black dresses their music means. so fucking much to me . forever thankful i randomly found devis youtube channel while scrolling through my youtube recommended laying at the edge of my bed at like 2am on a schoolnight back in 2018. holy fuckhhhhc

I haven't watched a full on Hermitcraft season before , nor have I watched Cleo or Joe Hill's uhh hermitcraft stufd. So ermmmm I binged watched the whole hermitcraft s8 , being my main pov being Cleo and Joe hills so that the art is accurate 100 percent no clickbate 🗣🗣🔥🔥[ spoiler alert : that shit devastatinv /pos ] [ I totes reccomend the experience tho ]

Oh yeah I get the Joe Hills experience now , he's pretty cool !!!!!

[hooked up to 6 bags of copium fluids] Id chapter is insane to me because the usual ending for all Servants involved for a lostbelt or singularity is everyone getting killed from the conflict to return to the Throne or losing someone one way or another.

but to the Avenger class, they were able to achieve what no other class has accomplished as a whole, and that's saying goodbye without having to die right in front of guda, without having to disappear in gold ether as they could only urge them to move forward. (to me, they won so hard i will die on this hill)

down at the waste pit, the recesses of the heart of their Master, ritsuka came to them in their time of need just as they did with their own battles, and they fought together without losing anyone. they fought together because that love for each other was there and it was- is real. the presence, being there alone was enough to turn the tides to the Avengers' favor and defeat that which plagued ritsuka's dreams. and in such a peaceful conclusion, they were afforded time to say goodbye. time to talk, even after all theyve been through.

they were afforded more time to see each other again, to say goodbye in a place now no longer a battlefield, but a place close to ritsuka's heart, where their hopes and dreams are as quiet but nonetheless beautiful and dazzling as the star that shone in their night sky.

they were able to say goodbyes. the Avenger class, a dangerous, highly volatile class of bloody teeth and howls seeking vengeance from those who wronged them even at the cost of human history, were able to say goodbye.

a rarity, in and of itself in a world where you could easily lose your life in the next second. a rarity to these flames destined to burn all that is within their sights including themselves. a rarity to these spirits who were able to move forward even as they are broken records of the past incarnate. able to say goodbye because they loved, they love.

and no one died amongst the Avengers contracted to ritsuka. and isnt that just so beautiful? for a singularity so steeped in hatred and revenge, its also just as painted so much in love and care.

leaving is a painful thing but they're still alive somewhere out there. they'll still be able to remember ritsuka come what may... it may not be an ideal ending but you could consider it the 'best' given the circumstance, you could even say it was a happy ending on this chapter centering the Avenger class.

goodbye just as i said hello. farewell spirits darker than the night. whose flames burn brighter than the stars. Farewell. farewell to those whose tears even scorch those around them and to themselves. farewell to those that knew pain and hatred the most, farewell to those that knew of love and compassion the most.
