We see Hannibal calming Will, especially in the earlier seasons where he was spiraling, and later, he stops him from shooting the social worker. I want to see the roles reversed, where Hannibal is in a bloodlust frenzy, and Will gentles him like he is one of those feral dogs he finds on the side of the road.
Pinning Hannibal down, cupping his face if he can, forcing Hannibal to look Will in the eye if he won't, hissing "look at me." Maybe Will biting him in the neck to shock him out of it, resting their foreheads together, exhaling calmness as they share breath. Will petting his hair, whispering things like, "I got you," "we're okay," and "you’re mine."

you know what i hate?
when bitches wobify Mu Qing and make him into a twink and i especially despise it when they do it for a ship with Feng Xin.
and okay he's not as muscular and more lean (hence being describes as looking scholarly) but do y'all fucking forget the man is a martial god in his own right? by no means is that man a damsel in distress that needs Feng Xin to constantly save him. he's smart, he's cunning and yeah he had a few vulnerable moments but by no means is he a poor wet meow meow he would kick your ass and laugh at you for being a failure. and yeah he's more lithe, especially when he's constantly next to Feng Xin who is kind of hypermasculine in fandom portrayals and impo (general "gigantic masculinity" anyone?) and those two are THE SAME FUCKING HEIGHT so why is Mu Qing always drawn to be much shorter than Feng Xin. and also maybe let's factor in the fact that Mu Qing was poor when growing and likely had to go without food so the lack of proper food while growing probably had an effect on his development(this just a hc btw but still it tracks). also this whole thing kind of smells really bad when people take Mu Qing, who is described as scholarly, and feminise him. it's really giving "EUGH!!! school is for girls!! only boys play sports!! academics=lame, feminine girly, war=cool, MASCULINE, done by REAL MEN URGH!!!"

Do you think it is possible for the other trolls to gaslight Eridan into do the murder for the right cause? E.g. not like the murderstuck in the canon but guiding his murderous direction to align with the purpose, using him as a disposable glass cannon and a cannon fodder to take down enemies? but not easily disposable due to seadweller's physical strength and his fighting skills. Not the optimal way to handle him but given that he needs some presence of others how will this scenario go?

Wondering if part of the reason Neil gets babied so hard by part of the fandom is his height. Short man. Shoulder/chest level to most of his peers. Many thoughts in my brain.

playing vns that let you customize your character is so painful bc for once i dont have to be the petite fragile damsel in distress but i know i'll have to go back to it eventually
#like. yes. i understand why most vns dont have customization like keyframes or scarlet hollow. it's a grueling process#but also i dont like getting slotted into the strip of paper with no agency role#there's some vns that manage to get that sweet spot where you dont get extensive customization but playing the mc isn't upsetting either#i think vesper is there. like yeah they still have a weak constitution but they're not a dumbass#and the game doesn't force you to dumb them down#like never in a million years did i imagine a vn in which u could get justifiably mad at the LI and not be punished by the game

I don't think Jayce and Viktor literally died. They were kind of pulled into another dimension/astral plane/whatever you call it. We see older Viktor, and while it could be another Viktor, I think it would be more meaningful if it was our Viktor, finally free from the arcane, going through the universe with Jayce, fixing timelines together. Kind of like a cosmic mission.

#they've been saying this ever since the finale aired and it drives me CRAZY#have your personal opinions all you want but to say that 2x08 was objectively a weak episode is simply not correct#cinematography acting vfx choreography music EVERYTHING was at the absolute top of its game#and despite being an Exciting Battle Episode it was completely anchored in character moments & emotional resonance which is no easy feat#so much going on yet there was time for every major character to get a huge developmental/emotional beat#(yes even those like nynaeve whose beat was a loss rather than a victory)#every season arc was either wrapped up in an immensely satisfying way or was set up for a deeper examination next season#and 90% of the general audience absolutely loved it#and yet reddit acts like it's an Accepted Fact that it was poor quality#just bc the book-to-show changes in that episode weren't to THEIR PERSONAL taste#touch grass#wot#seeing as season finales will always have the biggest moments it's kinda inevitable that hardcore book fans#will always be the most sensitive to any changes made in those particular episodes#not to mention that the changes made in eps 1-7 will snowball and culminate in the finale#so i feel like finales are always gonna be judged the most harshly by readers#like if dumai's wells isn't an exact 1:1 recreation of the book version#readers are 1000000% going to flip their shit no matter how objectively good the show's version actually is#wot book spoilers#for the replies

Louis does see Armand for all his flaws, and yet still chooses him, and loves him, but when he sees them for what they really were, and really entailed, he no longer can. Oh, gradations of evil. Louis had in ways bought into it.
#contriversial?#Like you can't deny Louis knew Armand to be a liar manipulator a disciplinarian betrayer and a threat among other things#He knows him and Claudia are at odds with each other#You might ask why then would he not turn the other way and run? And well cause Louis is tired of looking and feeling weak and Armand#where he isn't flawed offered him all this power as flimsy and dangerously able to be undermined as it may be#and he offers a place for him to have a connection he fears he would otherwise never have again in his everlasting existence#Suppose then Armand is the lesser of two evils#I feel too that since Louis views himself as deeply flawed and deeply capable of the same things that they are both#beings of evil as they are vampires and so on#to go about judging it so strongly that you deny any sort of connection you could have in another would really be to deny himself of#all he wants and needs and desires which gets at a point of him of his inner felt weaknesses of denying himself and being subjugated#away from being able to obtain such things without opposition or other forces#Armand is flawed in that he is a force but Louis sees to the potential of him being genuine in his devotions to him as#capable of quelling this entirely. To have Armand be 'his' is to finally control what has long been out of his control.#It's... more complicated than this surely but surface level Louis does choose armand and loves him but#it's always layered with an amount of false pretense and illusions of deeper trust#If you're whole vampire community is assholes who would either want to die or kill you you might as well choose the one who won't do either#at least by all impressions#and who you find very attractive physically and intellectually and who finds you attractive too and who happens to be good in bed#and into the same sex things you're into and curious about#Who you contentiously just get and who gets you back even if you would never really see eye to eye because you know a specific kind of pain#still knowing you relate to them somehow even if you can't see to their perspective#I am rambling now but this ship gets me ....#Feel similarly about why Louis would apologize to lestat - he feels put down to not own up to his part in all of it and he feels more in#control over his situation and his sense of self to simply admit this than to pretend like he was an absent player#He doesn't agree now with how he acted back then and in a way this is his way of admitting to he can move past that he is that person still#which he isn't in any sense still that person#Do I ... fully agreeeeee??? no. Trump absolutely started the Tik Tok ban bc they hurt his feelings in 2020 AND it was allowed to go through bc sinophobia sells and there was a lot of information about Palestine spread on there AND the images of "we're so glad President Trump will work with us on this!" are shameless -- if only we'd had a Democrat president that had four years to stop it with a Democratic majority in the House and Senate for much of it, then they could have stopped this PR win even before getting into office!

I genuinely did not like her company#Im not just jumping back into another trip away from home with her. She can't handle being alone. I just politly told her im working on my driving i cant go with her#Yeah i broke her feelings and she'll be all lone in the trip. That's not my problem but not like I dont pitty her.#Shes the one who convinced herself being alone in life is the worst thing ever. She's going to come up with saying I dont love her again.#Yeah thats true I really don't. Doesn't mean I don't try to care for her but i don't love her. Its not the got ya she thinks it is.#So yeah I do feel bad but I have my reasons. I litterally punched her the moment we stepped foot in the Philippines because of how she was#Treating me in an already stressful situation. Super7boy truly has one thing and one thing only going well for him, (because he has no name and no family and no friends and no personal identity after Superman died in front of him him and Lex forced him to take the clothes off his corpse and cut off his hair and no one to talk to because Hal left for space and Lex wants to fight him now and everyone else is dead), and that one thing is that he's immune to kryptonite so he's gotta stay that way, I can't take that one last thing from him.
#i mean i do think once his other powers start coming in kryptonite can temporarily block access to those but he still has ttk and clearly is#not physically depowered and does not lose ttk or feel sick in it's presence#it's the one kindness the universe grants him (bc at this point mainline sb was also assumed to be kryptonite proof as a fully human clone)#(there's a lot of 'not actually letting him get exposed to kryptonite to not have to answer the question') but anyway as Super7boy only#exists in the twoshot he isn't around long enough for them to eventually let him get weak to it#and i won't either#because yikes really truly the only thing going for him#.... and also because i think it would be a fun plot point if like later Lex decides to reveal Super7man as a fake#via public exposure to kryptonite#but that wouldn't be angst for long because i think Super7man and Jimmy would be like 'uh well you see he actually developed an immunity to#kryptonite when he was being held prisoner by the hoard for a decade and kept in kryptonite chains. obviously. what else would have kept him#from fighting for us the whole time but that?#and the half of the population who hadn't already guessed what Super7man's earring actually meant was like 'oh of course. he developed an#immunity. how stupid of Luthor to try to use it and then make this up when it didn't work'

I called it, Ruan Mei is deranged and shady as hell
#I love her#I also said that she the light cone and the light cone description and her last eidolon and some other things#made her feel almost nonexistent or barely there‚ but not in a Herta and Xueyi kind of way#And it seems I was right too? That line‚ 'Life is so colourful‚ but... it has nothing to do with me' reads to me like that for now#Really digging the way Dr. Ratio contrasts or parallels her. How she talks about keeping a serene mask until the situation is ascertained#and talking about emotions and feelings being able to be analysed and dissected‚ the root of which found#In the promotional video immediately after she says the thing about masks‚ Ratio appears talking precisely about the same thing#It's so cool how both also take advantage in their fighting style of the weaknesses of the enemies#Ruan Mei with the weakness break effect and Ratio with the debuffs#Ruan Mei didn't seem as scornful of Ratio and the Guild as Herta seemed but Ruan Mei is also less open#The leaked line of Ratio about her (I can't recall exactly but it wasn't anything we haven't seen in the new Ruan Mei short‚#something about how the true intentions of her research are not what she stated and that she is actually the most ambitious member#of the Genius Society)‚ while not truly negative‚ doesn't seem positive either. But he perhaps isn't as callous#as he is when he talks about Herta and Screwllum. Or perhaps he is being even more so#I'm looking forwards to their interactions and the development of the relationship between the Guild and the Society as a whole#But also the dynamics and problems inside the Genius Society itself#They all seem to have their all personal and selfish agenda which could be source of clash‚ whereas the Guild seems more people driven#Even if they have at times pretty ugly methods. Not they the Genius Society doesn't#Ajfjsjd anyway I wonder if the Ratio and Ruan Mei parallels and contrasts will be truly explored or if it will be left in the air#just to sell either character more#But it seems sooo intriguing and so shady and I'm so into how two faces or representation of the same Aeon or under the same drive#could approach a similarish issue. Or how could one view the other. And how in general all that will develop#I've been looking forwards to more insight on the Guild/Genius Society confrontation since very early on haha#I am loving Ruan Mei *sighs* deranged#I talk too much
