Hello! I just saw you post some Maitre Gims, and I know you like Stromae, so I was wondering what are french/french speaking singers that you like the most? You may have answered smtg like that already but i couldn't find it and I am, as always, very curious ^^ -☆
mc solaar!!!!!! and stromae for sure. and i had a whole renan luce phase in college. otherwise i mostly just listen to individual songs and don't tend to know a ton by the same artist, but i've liked some individual songs by christine and the queens, lous and the yakuza, tryo, kana, bénabar, vianney. some other artists but that's a sample. currently only know two french-language songs by mika but i like them. always looking for recs if you have any!

OK i want ur opinions on this: would motorcity’s ost be better if it had more techno/dnb(?) elements in it like the pilot? or is the metal rock soundtrack already perfect as is?
personally, i feel like it shouldve been more of a mix of both. specifically depending on where they are or which characters are involved. the more deluxians there are, the more electronic elements take over the song, and the more motorcitizens are involved, the more rock elements! but not all of the songs would be a mix tho, it could switch back and forth between the genres separately in their own songs :o
heres kinda an example of what i mean

My biggest red flag is my favorite Motionless in White album (probably) being Infamous. The one critics hated. That got no radio time. The album chris motionless immensely hates. That no one liked. I love infamous. I love it so much.
And it's not just because Hatefuck is on there and that's the funniest song I've ever heard in my life. Like genuinely Infamous is just so much fucking FUN. The transition from the first song, Black Damask, to Devil's Night makes me SO happy. The creepy crawliness of BD to the foot stomping BAM. BAM. BAM. of DN. It just makes me so happy.
God. It's so angry and it's so fucking FUN. <3
I know If It's Dead We'll Kill It is a fan favorite of MiW fans too, and it's on Infamous. People forget that!!!
Ugh. I'm halfway through relistening, currently on the Divine Infection and it's PURE fun. I mean come onnnnn. Virgins beggin for a hit with original style 😌 !! CROSSED OUT WRISTS BOUND, EVERYBODY GET DOWN!!! COME ON AND GET ME!!! COME ON AND GET ME!!!!!! 💞

i love steve albini's contributions to music (big black, producing nirvana's in utero) but what he did to pj harvey's rid of me is a crime against humanity

new london boy. glam and early 80s influences. documents what happens between verses 2 and 3 of being boring - so 1973(?)-1989. once again i feel totally normal thinking about the implications of that. punching the air rn.
