A/N- I am sorry this took so long, I've been studying for my exams and only finished them on the 1st. Not proofread.
Part one⬇️
★★
It took you the entire journey home to register what was happening, the moment you stepped into your home the wheels in your brain started turning and you realized you were about to get ready to meet with Bella.
Bella Ramsey. Mildred Hubble. Lyanna Mormont. Bella fucking Ramsey.
You wouldn't ruin this for yourself. You wouldn't over procrastinate or stress so much that you end up convincing yourself not to go. You would calmly get ready and have fun.
You cringed slightly. You knew that wasn't going to happen.
Aware of the time you ran upstairs to your bedroom.
Choosing an outfit has never been a worry before. A graphic tee would be your go-to in this heat, was that too casual? You didn't even know where you were going.
You continued your search.
Your hands dived deeper, everytime they moved another shirt that was one size too small, or a too revealing dress, your determination grew. Simple was the best option. You doubted Bella would show up dressed to the 9's, they seemed more laid back. Your fingers clung to the soft white fabric of a sleeveless tank top. Your head turned to your window. It was sunny today, not a single cloud in the blue sky. Last time you checked it was 21°C, you were sure it had gotten hotter. You decided that would be the top to wear. Standing back from your wardrobe you moved to your drawers.
Pulling the first drawer opened your hands rummaged through the folded trousers until you saw the familiar trusting blue high waisted jeans.
You wanted to put together a fancy outfit, and you were surprised you didn't, but it was just so hot and your mind was still processing today's events.
When your hair was brushed and your eyelashes curled you turned to your mirror. This would have to do. Taking your phone from the desk you checked the time. You were disappointed when you seen you still had plenty time. Bella had texted you an address, which lead to you typing it into Google maps.
The results were a nice looking vegan restaurant, one you had never heard of before and was only a ten minute walk from your home.
A simple lunch. Don't overthink it.
To keep your mind occupied you watched a few of Bella's past interviews. Somewhere along the way you had found one from when they were on the Worst Witch, you had to admit they were adorable and their long hair suited them.
When the interviews weren't enough to keep your anxiety at bay, you decided you would continue reading your book. You were quick to realize the words were not registering in your head.
Sighing you left your room and made your way to the living room to find something to put you at ease.
There wasn't anything worth watching on the tv, food didn't seem appealing as of right now, you didn't even have any chores to do.
Plopping down onto the soft cushions of your couch, your hands rested on you stomach as you tried to relax. You had seen your mum do this after every shift at work, it seemed to help her.
"Ugh" you groaned. You dug your hands into your pocket and pulled out your phone. Relaxing might be your mum's thing, but not yours.
You had a new message from Aaron and two from your sister. You were still mad at your sister so you decided to open Aarons instead.
Tumblr media
You bit your fingernail, a nervous habit you had developed. You hadn't told Aaron about how you had ran into Bella multiple times since sitting beside them on the bus. You didn't know if you should tell him or not.
Aaron was your bestfriend. You told him everything, and trusted him completely. You didn't know why you were so hesitant to tell him.
You didn't want Aaron thinking the situation was anything more than what it was. You stared at the text and thought about your options. Finally your fingers began moving across the keyboard.
Tumblr media
You leaned back into the couch. You hated lying, especially to Aaron.
It wasn't a complete lie anyways, you were almost sure that was why your sister had messaged you. She barely texted you for anything but favours.
You watched the three dots move. What if he knew I was lying?
Tumblr media
You smiled thankful that he didn't seem to pissed.
You spent the next hour scrolling aimlessly, rotating from social media to online clothing stores.
4:48
You jumped from your position on the couch once you realized the time. You wouldn't be late.
Grabbing everything you needed you made your way out of your home, google maps opened on your phone and Mac Miller playing from your earphones.
What would you even say to them? What would you both talk about?
You tried to focus on your music.
With every stop the restaurant got closer and your nerves grew.
Why did you agree to this?
This was way out of your comfort zone.
Suddenly you wished you had told Aaron. He would give you shitty advice, but it always managed to calm you.
You guessed what he might say if he were with you.
You won't be able to marry them if you can't go on one single date.
Pretend its Granny.
If you don't want to talk or don't know what to say, shove your mouth with as much food as possible.
Pretend you don't speak English
Maybe it was for the better that your best friend wasn't here.
You sighed, the music was becoming annoying so you took your earphones out and safely tucked them into your trousers pocket. The restaurant was up a head, you could just about see it so the Google maps wasn't in need anymore.
You fiddled with your hands, sometimes your finger would play with one of the many bracelets on your arm.
Please don't be awkward
Don't mess it up
You calmed your breathing.
The restaurant was nice. It was a red brick building with a large wooden door. Flowers were overgrown from their plant pots above the door and at the bottom of the building. Ivy was growing on the side.
From the large windows you could see the wooden floor and tables inside. The fairy lights creating a soft glow. There were a couple of people inside, not completely busy.
You passed a red fiat car parked at the side and made your way to the wooden door and inside.
Here goes nothing
Pushing the door open your eyes began searching for the familiar brunette.
"hello miss, how can I help you?"
You looked to the smiling waiter.
You smiled back, "I'm fine, just looking for a friend." The waiter nodded.
You then seen those dark messy curls, black t-shirt that had writing you couldn't make out. Their head was ducked as they typed on their phone but you knew it was Bella.
You slowly walked over.
"hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."
★ ★ ★
Tumblr media
Bella sighed. They didn't know why the person they chose to confide in was the 40 year old man who still was mentally 13 years old.
"walked right into that one." Bella muttered.
They didn't want to admit it, but they arrived twenty minutes early, hoping time would speed up and you would be here already. That wasn't the case. It only gave them more time to stress. Bella began typing out their response.
"hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."
Bella's head snapped up from their phone to the voice, to you.
In that moment Bella felt all air leave their lungs. They didn't know what to say or how to say it.
★ ★
You watched as Bella's confused face disappeared and a smile formed on their lips.
"Hi" Bella breathed out.
You chuckeld at their nervous state.
"hi" you replied back as you took your seat across from them.
It was silent for a moment, but it wasn't an awkward or uncomfortable silence. You both took the time to take in each other. All your previous meetings felt rushed and observed, but right now it felt like time slowed. The few people in the restaurant weren't paying any mind to the two of you.
Bella put their phone away and sat straighter.
"you know, I was worried you wouldn't show up. Actually I think it's concerning that you did. I am basically a stranger after all." Bella teased.
You faked offence.
"you know your right. I think I should get going-"
As you turned your body in your chair and was about to stand up you felt another hand on top of your own from across the table.
The feeling of their cold rings on your warm skin sent goosebumps all along your body.
You turned to look at Bella's hand holding yours and then to their grinning face.
"you wouldn't." Bella squinted their eyes and you could see their lips were trying to conceal their laugh.
"oh I would." You threatened teasingly. You turned to the table beside you, "but man does the food look good here."
Bella finally let out the laugh they were trying to contain. Their hand left yours and suddenly you wished you had savoured the feeling of it more.
You sat back into your seat. The same waiter who had greeted you at the door walked over to your table, pen and paper in hand. He smiled at the both of you.'eric' his name tag read.
You quickly opened the menu and scanned through your options whilst Bella told the waiter what they wanted.
You decided on the Vegan carbonara pasta.
"I'll have that brought out for you in a few minutes"
The waiter left and it was just you and Bella again.
"how long have you been working at the café?" Bella was the first to start the conversation.
You pondered the answer in your head."I'm not sure exactly, can't be over a year though. It's only until I start college."
Bella listened intently to every word you spoke. They gave you their undivided attention.
Once you finished talking about your hopes for college you decided to ask Bella a question.
"aren't you studying environmental science?"
Bella raised a brow, that familiar grin back on their lips."were you stalking me online?"
You scoffed. Their teasing tone and their face full of pride making you embarrassed.
"No" you mumbled as you drank the water from your glass.
Bella laughed, "you definitely were."
"you would do the same if I were super famous!"
Bella laughed again at your words.
"oh definitely"
Your food was eventually brought out. Bella and you ate, still you chatted about each of your lives and what you had in common. You had to admit it was probably one of the best conversations you've ever had.
The food was ate and time had passed, the sky had darkened and the restaurant gradually emptied, only a few lingering at the bar area.
It never got awkward between you and Bella, no silences. You found talking to them easy, always having something to say and them having a response.
But all good things had to end.
You glanced at the clock on the wall across from you.
You knew it was meant to be raining later and you didn't want to have to walk in it or the dark either.
Bella must've noticed your disappointment.
-
Bella noticed your eyes wander to the wall behind them, knowing there was a clock there due to the amount of times they had visited the restaurant.
Their cheeks flushed in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry if I've kept you too long, I didn't notice the time move by." Bella apologized. They rubbed their hands on their thighs, a habit that came with nerves.
"no-no it's not that, I walked here and I'm aware it might rain later." You explained. "I wouldn't mind staying longer. I've had fun. Getting to know you and all "
Bella smiled. No one would ever know that inside their heart was about to explode from their chest, and their mind was coming up with thousands of scenarios and hidden meanings to your words.
"I'll walk you" the words left Bella's mouth before they could register what they were saying. They don't know why they said it, but part of them was glad they did because they knew normally they would never have the courage to ask.
You stared. You didn't know how to respond.
"yeah sure-i'd like that." You smiled.
Fuck you and your awkwardness! You thought to yourself .
Before you knew it both of you were exiting the restaurant together after dividing the check.
Bella was reluctant to let you pay even a penny, but you could be stubborn.
Bella paid no mind to their car as both of you passed it. They didn't want to tell you they drove here and could easily drive you back to your home, because that would mean they would have to say goodbye to you sooner, and they wanted to stall that as much as possible.
Bella walked with their hands in their pockets and you with your arms at your side.
The walk was quiet for the most part, bella would sometimes tell a cringy joke or recall a funny story from working on set. You enjoyed listening to them talk.
Bella didn't notice how close you were getting to your home, but you did. You wanted to be selfish and stall for as long as possible to avoid saying that dreaded goodbye.
"I'm glad I accepted your offer to get to know you better. " You avoided eye contact, choosing to play with your bracelet.
"I'm glad you did too." Bella smiled at you and watched you fiddle nervously. You met their eyes briefly before looking away, Bella's smile widened.
"I have interviews and meetings for majority of the week except Friday, maybe we could meet again?" Bella asked almost shyly, they felt like a kid again the way they got all giddy inside.
You frowned. "As much as I would love to, I'm meeting with an old friend on Friday." You apologized.
Bella masked their disappointment with a smile
"another time?"
"absolutely."
The rest of the walk to your home was quiet.
"I'd invite you inside but I don't want you walking in the rain." You said when you reached the door of your house.
"I wouldn't be able to stay long anyways, I have an early appointment tomorrow." Bella reassured you.
It was silent until bella spoke up again
"I had fun today. Text me, yeah?"
You agreed to and the both of you said your goodbyes when you couldn't stall it anymore.
The smiles on both your faces remained long after you said your goodbyes.

Terrible Fic Idea #64: ASOIAF, but make it House Hightower
A little while back @kyuremking mentioned how reading my plot bunnies made them want a female Jon Snow/male Hightower fic - and gave us a wonderful look at how they'd go about it. Being who I am, I ended up having to have a go at it myself.
Or: House Hightower was once one of the most powerful houses in Westeros. How might it become so again?
Aka: The Elia the Magnificent Fic
Just imagine it:
Everything follows canon - until Lyanna dies giving birth to a daughter who looks as if she might well be her clone. Inexplicably, Lyanna's one act before dying is to name the babe Elia.
As female bastards are inherently less danger to patriarchal systems, Ned decides to pass his niece off as the illegitimate daughter of his brother Brandon and Ashara Dayne. Not only does this allow the girl to keep her name, Ashara being a well-known friend of the late queen, but it should temper his wife's reaction.
It doesn't. Catelyn is nearly as wroth about Ned bringing home her ex-finance's bastard as she was about Jon in canon. The only difference is she feels that she can be open about her dislike of Elia in a way she never could quite manage with Jon. For the sake of peace in his household - and a chance of giving Elia a happy childhood, - Ned sends his niece to foster with the Mormonts at Bear Island shortly before the Ironborn Rebellion.
Elia thrives on Bear Island. Free of anyone's expectations other than her own, she grows into a stubborn, fierce, and proud Northern woman who can wield a sword if necessary and will pick up a needle to tend her own clothes, but has little interest in tourneys or fine needlepoint. Though no one realizes it, she bears a remarkable resemblance in both personality and appearance to the young Queen Who Never Was, Rhaenys Targaryen.
Around the year 290, Jorah brings Lynesse Hightower to Bear Island as his new bride. This goes about as well as canon - with the exception that he doesn't resort to selling men into slavery for coin, not wanting to risk it while Ned Stark's niece fosters on the island. Lynesse eventually packs up and leaves for Oldtown, only for her father to send her back to her husband. This process repeats several times before she manages to smuggle herself to Lys and a position in Tregar Ormollen's harem c. the year 297. But not before Leyton Hightower sends one of his grandsons to keep an eye on Lynesse - Lymond, second son of Baelor Hightower.
Lymond is not quite a southron knight out of Sansa's stories, but is about as close as it is possible for a real human being to be. Five years older than Elia, he's a little too stubborn - reacting fairly negatively to the idea of women bearing arms at first, though he does come around during the first Free Folk raid he's present for - and has far too many freckles for anyone to consider him handsome - though he shares the hair Queen Alicent was famous for. He's also a staunch follower of the Seven, seeing followers of the Old Gods as little more than heathens.
It's this later that puts him in Elia's path. It's not slap-slap-kiss so much as I know you're wrong, so I'm going to drag you around and show you how wrong you are and make disappointed faces at you every time you say something hurtful or just plain wrong. And it works. Lymond comes to understand Northerners and the Old Gods in a way few Southrons bother, and the reverse is true of Elia.
By the time Elia reaches an age where it wouldn't be wrong for a southron knight to fall in love with her, she and Lymond have become close friends.
Shortly before Jon Arryn's death, Lynesse runs away for the last time and Lymond is called home. Jorah goes with him to talk with Leyton and the Faith about having his marriage dissolved - and Elia joins him, wanting to see the Hightower she's heard so much about. Though a series of accidents, misfortunes, side trips, and delays, they're still there when Robert dies and the War of Five Kings begins.
House Hightower, being close kin to the Tyrells, is getting ready to throw their lot in with Renly when one of the septons they'd been meeting with about the dissolution of Jorah and Lynesse's marriage comes forward. Leyton and Lymond are a little leery because they've seen how this particular septon watches Elia - only for the septon to reveal how he was the former High Septon's closest assistant and knew about Rhaegar's second marriage, and how he's fairly certain Elia Snow is Princess Elia Targaryen, rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
It takes some convincing, but eventually House Hightower puts forward Elia's claim - and convinces their Redwyne and Tyrell cousins to join them. Renly's claim falls apart before it can even get started, especially after Robb tosses his lot in with Elia. The combined might of The North, The Riverlands, and The Reach allow King's Landing to be taken fairly easily and the remnants of Stannis' army to be mopped up not long after. Though pockets of rebellion remain, Elia is crowned queen of the Seven Kingdoms within the year.
The rest of the fic should be about putting down rebellions and solidifying Elia's claim to the throne. Lymond should make a bit of a name for himself during these, as should Elia on the few occasions where she's called upon to defend herself from an assassination or is separated from her guards.
It should be at some point during the absences this fighting requires that Elia and Lymond come to realize they care for each other as more than friends. This should move somewhat comically from Mutual Pining to surely the queen will need to marry higher than a second son, no matter how in love they are to our relations have been planning our marriage for years and we were too stupid to realize it.
They marry on Elia's eighteenth birthday, in a ceremony far grander than her wartime coronation two years earlier. They are, perhaps, the happiest royal couple Westeros has ever seen and start a bit of a fad for love matches amongst the nobility - provided everyone is of the appropriate rank. (Think Regency England.) Historians will later say that Elia had the wisdom of Jaehaerys I, the prudence of Aegon I, and the compassion of Alysanne, for which they call her Elia the Magnificent, while her husband had the rare ability to know exactly how best to support his royal wife without undermining her position.
Bonuses include: 1) the implication that Elia Martell was a lesbian, Lyanna Stark a disaster bi, and Prince Rhaegar an asexual who only had the relationships he did in an effort to produce the three-headed dragon. Had things happened differently, they would have scandalized Westeros with their relationship; 2) An in-depth exploration of the Old Gods and the Faith of the Seven, including their belief systems and practices. This should come with the realization that both faiths want essentially the same things from their followers but have been misused by each when it suits, and the the introduction of a reform element into both; and 3) House Hightower regaining the power it's rarely been seen to have since before the Dance. It's not enough to destabilize The Reach, but it is enough for the powers that be of the Citadel and the Faith to be leery of drawing their attention, and so both groups are a little more willing to fall in line than in canon. This leads to reform movements in both, removing corruption and - eventually - the admittance of women to the Citadel and the higher ranks of the Faith.
And that's all I have - though admittedly I petered out a little around the middle, because RL is exhausting. As always, feel free to adopt this bun, just link back if you do anything with it.

season 8 sucked a fat one we all know this but I just wanted to make a list of things that I did love and this list is completely in praise of everyone involved with season 8 that aren’t d&d(and possibly some of the other writers but I don’t care enough to look up who wrote what episode so don’t @ me) this is mainly in praise of episode 2 and 3
1) Arya seeing dragons
Tumblr media
2) Brienne sticking up for Jaime at his trial
Tumblr media
3) Jaime knighting Brienne
Tumblr media
4) the whole Jenny of Oldstones montage

5) Tormund’s giant’s titty story where everyone was like
Tumblr media
6)I literally loved almost everything about episode 3. I know that’s not a popular opinion and I know some of it was nonsensical and I know we couldn’t see anything half the damn time but a) Jaime and Brienne fighting side by side b) Sansa and Arya watching the dragons c) the dothraki’s burning swords all getting extinguished and the absolute fucking dread I felt at that d) Grey Worm holding the line while they try to get everyone within the walls of Winterfell e) all the commander lines made me cheer like Brienne’s “stand your ground” and Grey Worm’s “protect the retreat” and Theon’s “steady lads, steady, make every shot count” f) Lyanna MORMONT stabbing a fucking giant in the eye g) Davos being just fucking AWED watching Arya fight h) again Jaime and Brienne fighting together on the battlements and then fighting with Pod with them against the walls i) the whole Night King montage with Jon running through Winterfell loved that and loved the music even more j) the dany/jorah scene at the end just ripped out my heart k)I just loved the episode okay

AU: Elia Martell and Rhaella Targaryen, the sun and the dragon (2/?)
Shireen Baratheon: She was the only daughter of Stannis Baratheon and Selyse Baratheon, being the niece of Robert Baratheon. She was cared for by her aunt Lyanna Stark seeing her as a daughter to her. Shireen grew up being a curious, shy but polite girl, as well as being considered very pretty with big blue eyes, thick black hair and a cute smile. Despite the fact that her father longed for a boy, she had some appreciation for her daughter and every month she gave her a present.
The young woman and two of her cousins, Lyarra and Cassana appeared at the Maidens' Day Ball as candidates to be the next queen consort of the Seven Kingdoms and wife of Aegon VI. During the dance the young king asked to dance with little Shireen and they both had a good connection with Shireen being one of her favorites, but she was also the envy of other candidates including her cousins. At the end of the Ball, Aegon VI claimed to want to marry Shireen Baratheon and this engagement was welcomed by the king's mother, Elia Martell, and her grandmother, Rhaella Targaryen. In 299 A. C., the wedding of the young people was celebrated being a splendid and happy event for the young people. Elia Martell gave her daughter-in-law a necklace that she brought from Dorne and wore it during her wedding, inheriting it from Shireen and marking a good relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
Shireen and Aegon did not consummate the marriage until 304 A. C., when Shireen turned 15 years old and shortly after sharing the bed, the queen announced her first pregnancy, being a great joy for the family and the common people. At the end of 304 A. C., Prince Aemon was born, the future Aemon I and it was a great joy for all, even for the parents of the queen. The kings were very close and had six children in total, bringing the couple closer together.
Aegon's reign was fairly peaceful and Shireen focused on charity work and caring for her children. In 335 A. C., Aegon VI died victim of puerperal fever due to a hunting accident where he cut his hand and the wound was not well treated. The death of her husband was painful for Shireen, wearing her entire life in mourning and taking shelter in her children, numerous grandchildren and in art, being she known as a great patron of the arts. Shireen Baratheon passed away in 353 A. C., at 64 years old while she slept in her rooms in the Red Fort. She was cremated and her ashes were placed next to those of Aegon VI.
Lyanna Stark: In the tower of joy, Lyanna gave birth to the only child she had with Rhaegar Targaryen, Jon Eddard Stark and despite the difficulties Lyanna managed to leave the birth alive as well as her son. When Rhaegar died and Princess Elia made a peace treaty with Robert Baratheon, Arthur Dayne traveled with Lyanna to King's Landing where he was reunited with his brothers and his fiancé.
It was a complete scandal that Lyanna had had a son with Prince Rhaegar intensifying Robert's anger, but Elia Martell convinced him to let Jon live in Winterfell and allow her mother to visit him whenever she wanted. This idea did not please Lyanna, but she could not be more stubborn as she had already had a relationship and a child with the princess's husband, so she accepted that her brother Ned would take care of the child as hers and she I would visit it.
Lyanna and Robert were married shortly thereafter in 285 A. C., to Lyanna's surprise, Robert was attentive to her and was eager to share the bed with her. Little by little Lyanna began to feel a great appreciation for Robert, both of them spending time at hunting parties and banquets. Shortly after her marriage, Lyanna became pregnant and gave birth to a son, Gendry Baratheon, the future Lord of Storm's End.
Their marriage was passionate and relatively happy, even though Robert had a discreet lover while Lyanna was pregnant, but it is known that these relationships were rare and short-lived. The couple had a total of ten children: Lyarra, Steffon, Cassana, Stella, Eddard, Sara, Rickard, Rickon and twins who died shortly after birth.
Lyanna was also present in the life of her son, Jon Eddard whom she adored, but she did not have a good relationship with her daughter-in-law, Ygritte who she considered somewhat mocking and suspicious because of her mysterious origins.
In the year 311 A. C., Lyanna became pregnant again, but she was already 45 years old so the doctors feared for her life. During labor, her mother suffered a hemorrhage caused by childbirth and in the end she gave birth to a pair of twins, but Lyanna died after giving birth being a heartbreaking grief for her entire family.
Jon Ned: Jon spent his entire life in Winterfell being raised by his uncle Eddard Stark and his aunt Catelyn, while he received visits from his mother, Lyanna Stark whom he adored very much.
Jon was a skilled swordsman and a good boy who was loved by Winterfell and his cousins, especially Robb and Arya Stark. From the beginning he wanted to find a fiancée so that he could have children and make his living, but surprisingly Jon brought an unknown young woman named Ygritte, who was said to be an illegitimate daughter of the Commander of the Night's Watch, Jeor Mormont, but others say that she was a savage that the young man found and fell in love with. The little wolf affirmed that he had married her and that he was in love with her being this something bittersweet for her uncles and her mother, but they ended up accepting and organizing a formal wedding.
Jon was in the service of his cousin, Robb Stark, when his uncle Ned Stark passed away and Robb was proclaimed lord of Winterfell. Robb appointed his cousin as his chief advisor, gaining fame for his peaceful reforms and not wasting so much money. Jon reportedly also had a good relationship with his half-sister, Rhaenys Targaryen, despite all the problems his mothers had in the past.
Jon and Ygritte had a passionate marriage, having thirteen children, even though three would die at birth. Jon was a loving and attentive father always looking for the best for all the sons and daughters, looking for important trades or marriages, he even agreed to marry one of his daughters, Raya with his cousin Eddard Stark, becoming Mistress of Winterfell.
The young wolf's life continued as usual until one day in 334 A. C., while doing a hunting party with his sons Cregan and Jeor, Jon was envestigated by a bear ripping off his leg causing him to bleed. Jeor tried to save his father, but the low temperatures and the amount of blood that he began to lose caused Jon to go into shock and die in the presence of his children at 51 years of age.
Ygritte was plunged into deep sadness upon losing her husband and six years later she would end up dying under strange circumstances. They were both buried in the Stark Cemetery.
Ygritte: The young redhead always lived among the savages being a tough and skilled archer, but Ygritte knew that the conditions were not favorable she loved to hunt, but the food was scarce and the skins even more.
Luck smiled at Ygritte when she met young Jon Targaryen, the illegitimate son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, at a hunt. Jon was amazed by Ygritte's beauty and her strong temperament, Ygritte also felt attracted to the 16-year-old young man, her face seemed beautiful to him. The savage offered the young man a night of pleasure in exchange for food, but the little wolf offered him to marry her and live in Winterfell as her wife, to which Ygritte accepted in order to have a comfortable life.
Jon with the help of Jeor Mormont posed Ygritte as an illegitimate daughter of the commander with a prostitute before joining the Night's Watch. The young Stark took the redhead to the Forest of Gods where they were married privately only with the presence of Samwell Tarly and Dolorous Edd.  Jon and Ygritte appeared before Eddard Stark and Jon's mother Lyanna Stark claiming that they were in love and had married in the presence of the Old Gods. Lyanna Stark was not satisfied because she was not convinced by the origin of the young woman, but she ended up accepting the marriage for the happiness of her son and soon a formal wedding was held where some members of vassal houses attended.
The marriage was somewhat tumultuous at first due to Ygritte's strong and disorderly character, but the couple managed to have a solid, passionate and fun union as they both shared a love of combat and hunting. Ygritte became pregnant a year after getting married, giving birth to a boy named Jeor in honor of the Old Bear. Every two or three years Ygritte gave birth to more children, having a total of thirteen children: Irrla, Johann, Daeron, Raya, Sarra, Samwell, Brereton, Cregan and Cecily; Ella ygritte gave birth to two stillborn children and one died an hour after birth.
Ygritte's personality changed slightly with her motherhood being her a protective mother and something dominant especially with her children. Ygritte's life continued as always alongside her family and hunting for her until 334 A. C., her husband Jon Eddard passed away being a shame for her since she was very much in love with hers. Upon Jon's death, Ygritte took refuge in the hunt and in her children, especially in her daughter, Cecily, who was her tear cloth and her greatest consolation until her daughter died in the year 339 A. C., further increasing Ygritte's grief.
One day in the year 340 A. C., the body of Lady Ygritte was found near the Wall in inappropriate clothes for the severe winter that hit. It is said that she died of hypothermia or cardiac arrest from the pain of losing her husband and daughter. Ygritte was buried at the age of 60 next to Jon Ned and his children who had passed away at the time.

ADWD:  Daenerys vs Jon
In this meta, I will try to find the clues of Dance of Dragons 2.0 in Daenerys and Jon ADWD chapters.
(I will be pointing out how these two are meant to be against each other)
Mostly: I will examine the chapters that follow each other.
Let’s start...
Tumblr media
A) ADWD; Daenerys I & Jon I:
Tumblr media
Daenerys I:
He lifted the sack, and spilled its contents on the marble. Bones they were, broken bones and blackened. The longer ones had been cracked open for their marrow. “It were the black one,” the man said, in a Ghiscari growl, “the winged shadow. He come down from the sky and … and …” No. Dany shivered. No, no, oh no. “Are you deaf, fool?” Reznak mo Reznak demanded of the man. “Did you not hear my pronouncement? See my factors on the morrow, and you shall be paid for your sheep.” “Reznak,” Ser Barristan said quietly, “hold your tongue and open your eyes. Those are no sheep bones.” No, Dany thought, those are the bones of a child.
[ADWD; Daenerys I]
Dany’s dragon Drogon burns a child
Let’s look Jon chapter that comes after this Dany chapter:
Jon I:
Burning dead children had ceased to trouble Jon Snow; live ones were another matter. Two kings to wake the dragon. The father first and then the son, so both die kings. The words had been murmured by one of the queen’s men as Maester Aemon had cleaned his wounds. Jon had tried to dismiss them as his fever talking. Aemon had demurred. “There is power in a king’s blood,” the old maester had warned, “and better men than Stannis have done worse things than this.” The king can be harsh and unforgiving, aye, but a babe still on the breast? Only a monster would give a living child to the flames.
[ADWD; Jon I]
GRRM knew exactly what he was doing by making this chapter follow the Dany one.
Only monsters burn children= Dragons are monsters.
Even Dany says so. And Dany calls herself a monster too in her second chapters:
Daenerys II:
Mother of dragons, Daenerys thought. Mother of monsters. What have I unleashed upon the world? A queen I am, but my throne is made of burned bones, and it rests on quicksand. Without dragons, how could she hope to hold Meereen, much less win back Westeros? I am the blood of the dragon, she thought. If they are monsters, so am I.
[ADWD; Daenerys II]
Monsters burn children= Dragons are monsters = Dany is a monster
This ADWD; Dany II chapter comes after ADWD; Jon III.
Tumblr media
Let’s keep reading Jon I chapter:
Jon I:
Stannis read from the letter. “Bear Island knows no king but the King in the North, whose name is STARK. A girl of ten, you say, and she presumes to scold her lawful king.”
[ADWD; Jon I]
Like Daenerys, Stannis also believes that he is the only lawful and true ruler, he sacrifices people to flames, he listens what flames tell him, he wants everyone to bend the knee to him.
Also let’s not forget about the Dragonstone and Azor Ahai parallels between Dany and Stannis.
Just like Lyanna Mormont doesn’t bend the knee to Stannis; the other Northern lords won’t accept Daenerys either.
Stannis sees Jon as his key to the North. But Jon made his choice and he chose family and honor over his own desire of becoming the Lord of Winterfell:
“By right Winterfell should go to my sister Sansa.”
[ADWD; Jon I]
Daenerys might also see Jon as her key to the North in the future books but Jon will always choose his honor as a Stark and his Stark family.
Lonely and lovely and lethal, Jon Snow reflected, and I might have had her. Her, and Winterfell, and my lord father’s name. Instead he had chosen a black cloak and a wall of ice. Instead he had chosen honor. A bastard’s sort of honor.
[ADWD; Jon III]
This also comes before a Dany chapter:
Tumblr media
[About Jon choosing Sansa and him becoming her hero, please check: Jon x Sansa Book Hints: C12, C13, E2 ]
B) ADWD; Daenerys III & Jon IV:
Tumblr media
Daenerys III:
The next morning Xaro’s galleas was gone, but the “gift” that he had brought her remained behind in Slaver’s Bay. Long red streamers flew from the masts of the thirteen Qartheen galleys, writhing in the wind. And when Daenerys descended to hold court, a messenger from the ships awaited her. He spoke no word but laid at her feet a black satin pillow, upon which rested a single bloodstained glove. “What is this?” Skahaz demanded. “A bloody glove …” “… means war,” said the queen.
[ADWD; Daenerys III]
GLOVE IS OFF AND IT MEANS WAR!
Next chapter is Jon:
Jon IV:
As they did their count, Jon peeled the glove off his left hand and touched the nearest haunch of venison. He could feel his fingers sticking, and when he pulled them back he lost a bit of skin. His fingertips were numb. What did you expect? There’s a mountain of ice above your head, more tons than even Bowen Marsh could count. Even so, the room felt colder than it should. “It is worse than I feared, my lord,” Marsh announced when he was done. He sounded gloomier than Dolorous Edd. Jon had just been thinking that all the meat in the world surrounded them. You know nothing, Jon Snow. “How so? This seems a deal of food to me.”
[ADWD; Jon IV]
Jon takes his glove off and loses skin and maybe it gets even bloody?
In this chapter Jon is having problems with finding food and it is safe to assume that dragons are a threat to realm’s supplies.
Jon thinks their best hope is untouched Eyrie- where his Tully cousin hides as a bastard: (source: Best Hope is in Eyrie)
“If we had sufficient coin, we could buy food from the south and bring it in by ship,” the Lord Steward said. We could, thought Jon, if we had the gold, and someone willing to sell us food. Both of those were lacking. Our best hope may be the Eyrie. The Vale of Arryn was famously fertile and had gone untouched during the fighting. Jon wondered how Lady Catelyn’s sister would feel about feeding Ned Stark’s bastard. As a boy, he often felt as if the lady grudged him every bite.
[ADWD; Jon IV]
He once again chooses his Stark family in this chapter:
Which would you have as Lord of Winterfell, Snow? The smiler or the slayer?” Jon said, “Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa.”
[ADWD; Jon IV]
C) ADWD; Daenerys VII & Jon IX:
Daenerys VII:
This is Dany’s wedding chapter and she learns about her father’s jealousy about married cousins Tywin and Joanna and she also thinks about a love between a Targaryen prince and a Stark lady:
“I want to know. I never knew my father. I want to know everything about him. The good and … the rest.” “As you command.” The white knight chose his words with care. “Prince Aerys … as a youth, he was taken with a certain lady of Casterly Rock, a cousin of Tywin Lannister. When she and Tywin wed, your father drank too much wine at the wedding feast and was heard to say that it was a great pity that the lord’s right to the first night had been abolished. A drunken jape, no more, but Tywin Lannister was not a man to forget such words, or the … the liberties your father took during the bedding.” His face reddened. “I have said too much, Your Grace. I—”
[...]
If he loved you, he would come and carry you off at swordpoint, as Rhaegar carried off his northern girl, the girl in her insisted, but the queen knew that was folly.
[ADWD; Daenerys VII]
Tywin betrayed Aerys and Rhaegar’s love for Lyanna caused a big trouble for the realm...
And we know that Daenerys is still waiting for a BETRAYAL FOR LOVE.
The voices were growing louder, she realized, and it seemed her heart was slowing, and even her breath… three treasons will you know… once for blood and once for gold and once for love…
[…]
A blue flower grew from a chink in a wall of ice, and filled the air with sweetness… mother of dragons, bride of fire…
[ACOK; Daenerys IV]
And next chapter is Jon who is a secret Targaryen and the son of Prince Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark.
So Jon comes after betrayer Tywin. (betrayal)
He is the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna.. (love)
Who is the cousin?
Well A SISTER comes to him in this chapter:
A grey girl on a dying horse. Melisandre’s fires had not lied, it would seem.
[ADWD; Jon IX]
According to Melisandre’s vision this “grey girl” should have been Jon’s sister but Alys Karstark came to him.
“I have seen your sister in my fires, fleeing from this marriage they have made for her. Coming here, to you. A girl in grey on a dying horse, I have seen it plain as day. It has not happened yet, but it will.”
[ADWD; Jon VI]
But in truth Jon’s only sister Rhaenys is dead and the only sisters Jon knows are his COUSINS actually.
Which cousin? The one that fits into the “grey girl” prophecy. Sansa Stark... Who is now facing a new marriage.
According to fan made reading order for AFFC & ADWD: (source: AFFC&ADWD reading order)
ADWD; Jon IX chapter is following AFFC;  Alayne II chapter where she learns about Petyr’s plans of marrying her with Harry Hardyng.
So according to same reading order, this Alayne chapter comes between this Daenerys chapter and Jon chapter.
Tumblr media
[About Jon and Sansa being Dany’s betrayal for love and doom please read: Jon x Sansa Book Hints: B4, D4, E6 ]
So the fake grey girl that comes after Dany chapter gives us the clues of Dany’s last betrayal for love by pointing out two cousins who are a Targaryen prince and a Stark lady.
Let’s continue with ADWD; Jon IX:
Queen Selyse descended upon Castle Black with her daughter and her daughter’s fool, her serving girls and lady companions, and a retinue of knights, sworn swords, and men-at-arms fifty strong. Queen’s men all, Jon Snow knew. They may attend Selyse, but it is Melisandre they serve.
[ADWD; Jon IX]
We know that Jon dislikes Queen Selyse and he knows that she is actually a puppet of Melisandre.
In one of his ADWD chapters he describes Selyse like this:
A word from Melisandre, and she would walk into the fire willingly, embrace it like a lover.
[ADWD; Jon X]
This description reminds me Daenerys Targaryen.
Who did walk into flames willingly and embrace it like a lover? Daenerys Targaryen:
She had sensed the truth of it long ago, Dany thought as she took a step closer to the conflagration, but the brazier had not been hot enough. The flames writhed before her like the women who had danced at her wedding, whirling and singing and spinning their yellow and orange and crimson veils, fearsome to behold, yet lovely, so lovely, alive with heat. Dany opened her arms to them, her skin flushed and glowing. This is a wedding, too, she thought.
[…]
And now the flames reached her Drogo, and now they were all around him. [...] Part of her wanted to go to him as Ser Jorah had feared, to rush into the flames to beg for his forgiveness and take him inside her one last time, the fire melting the flesh from their bones until they were as one, forever.
[…]
A rising heat puffed at her face, soft and sudden as a lover’s breath…
[AGOT; Daenerys X]
The interesting thing is that a Daenerys chapter follows this Jon X chapter where he describes Selyse.
Tumblr media
Let’s keep reading Jon IX:
If he is not a kinslayer, he is the next best thing. Axell Florent’s brother had been burned by Melisandre, Maester Aemon had informed him, yet Ser Axell had done little and less to stop it. What sort of man can stand by idly and watch his own brother being burned alive?
[ADWD; Jon IX]
another Daenerys hint: Dany-Viserys or Jon killing his kin maybe?
“Salladhor Saan?” “The Lysene pirate? Some say he has returned to his old haunts, this is so. And Lord Redwyne’s war fleet creeps through the Broken Arm as well. On its way home, no doubt. But these men and their ships are well-known to us. No, these other sails … from farther east, perhaps … one hears queer talk of dragons.” “Would that we had one here. A dragon might warm things up a bit.” “My lord jests. You will forgive me if I do not laugh. We Braavosi are descended from those who fled Valyria and the wroth of its dragonlords. We do not jape of dragons.” No, I suppose not. “My apologies, Lord Tycho.”
[ADWD; Jon IX]
Jon is warned against dragons.
D) ADWD; Daenerys IX & Jon XI:
Tumblr media
Daenerys IX
Dizzy, Dany closed her eyes. When she opened them again, she glimpsed the Meereenese beneath her through a haze of tears and dust, pouring up the steps and out into the streets. The lash was still in her hand. She flicked it against Drogon’s neck and cried, “Higher!” Her other hand clutched at his scales, her fingers scrabbling for purchase. Drogon’s wide black wings beat the air. Dany could feel the heat of him between her thighs. Her heart felt as if it were about to burst. Yes, she thought, yes, now, now, do it, do it, take me, take me, FLY!
[ADWD; Daenerys IX]
Daenerys rides Drogon for the first time and this looks like an orgasmic experience but don’t let it fool you: people in Meereen are not happy because they are dying etc...
Next chapter is realm’s shield Jon:
Jon XI
Jon clasped the offered hand. The words of his oath rang through his head. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. And for him a new refrain: I am the guard who opened the gates and let the foe march through. He would have given much and more to know that he was doing the right thing. But he had gone too far to turn back. “Done and done,” he said.
[ADWD; Jon XI]
He remembers his oath about protecting the realm.
He thinks Ghost (his Stark side) is the only protection he needs:
Ghost was the only protection Jon needed; the direwolf could sniff out foes, even those who hid their enmity behind smiles.
[ADWD; Jon XI]
Jon wants to scream that fire obsessed queen is not his queen. And he wants Selyse and Melisandre gone.
[Stannis + Melisandre + Selyse = Daenerys]
Val’s playful smile died. “You have my word, Lord Snow. I will be a proper wildling princess for your queen.” She is not my queen, he might have said. If truth be told, the day of her departure cannot come too fast for me. And if the gods are good, she will take Melisandre with her.
[ADWD; Jon XI]
A northern princess doesn’t bend the knee to fire obsessed queen:
“The queen’s face hardened. “A grievous oversight.” What faint traces of warmth her voice had held vanished all at once. “Free folk do not kneel,” Val told her. “Then they must be knelt,” the queen declared.“Do that, Your Grace, and we will rise again at the first chance,” Val promised. “Rise with blades in hand.”
[ADWD; Jon XI]
Jon remembers his Night’s Watch oath AGAIN:
“I know what I swore.” Jon said the words. “I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. Were those the same words you said when you took your vows?”
[ADWD; Jon XI]
So as we can see Daenerys’ bonding with her dragon doesn’t seem like a good omen for Westeros. But at least we have our shield and warrior: Jon SNOW.
We are done with the chapters that follow each other but I am going to look at Daenerys’ last POV in ADWD too:
BONUS:
ADWD; Daenerys X:
A wolf howls when she thinks about her betrayals and it makes her sad and lonely but not less hungry:
Yet who else could it have been? Reznak, her perfumed seneschal? The Yunkai’i? The Sons of the Harpy? Off in the distance, a wolf howled. The sound made her feel sad and lonely, but no less hungry. As the moon rose above the grasslands, Dany slipped at last into a restless sleep.
[ADWD; Daenerys X]
Ants, which are coming from a WALL, bite Dany:
It turned out that their anthill was on the other side of her wall. She wondered how the ants had managed to climb over it and find her. To them these tumbledown stones must loom as huge as the Wall of Westeros. The biggest wall in all the world, her brother Viserys used to say, as proud as if he’d built it himself.
[ADWD; Daenerys X]
Wolves and crows are not good signs for her:
My flesh will feed the wolves and carrion crows, she thought sadly, and worms will burrow through my womb.
[ADWD; Daenerys X]
She embraces “Fire and Blood”:
No. You are the blood of the dragon. The whispering was growing fainter, as if Ser Jorah were falling farther behind. Dragons plant no trees. Remember that. Remember who you are, what you were made to be. Remember your words. “Fire and Blood,” Daenerys told the swaying grass.
[ADWD; Daenerys X]
In conclusion: Daenerys will be dangerous for Westeros. It seems like Jon and Starks will be against Daenerys at some point and in the end Daenerys will meet her doom because of them..
Thanks for reading...

Alysanne Blackwood. During Wolf Hour, Lord Cregan took twenty-two men prisoner, including Lord Corlys Velaryon. His granddaughters, Baela and Rhaena Targaryen, convinced Aegon III to make an edict forgiving him, but Lord Cregan was not convinced. Given this, Alysanne asked him to respect the edict, stating that doing so would give him what he wanted. Lord Cregan asked her to marry him, to which Alysanne agreed; Champiñón claimed that the marriage was Alysanne's intention from the beginning.
Alysanne and Cregan were married in a splendid ceremony, proclaiming their vows before the weirwood of the Gods of Winterfell forest. At the wedding feast, Rickon, Lord Cregan's four-year-old son, sang a song dedicated to his new stepmother. Lord Cregan and Lady Alysanne had four daughters, Sarra, Alys, Raya, and Mariah.
Lynara Stark. Lady Lynara Stark was a member of the Stark House and the descendant of a younger son of Lord Brandon Stark.
Lynara was the third wife of her cousin, Lord Cregan Stark. She had five children with her, Jonnel, Edric, Lyanna, Barthogan, and Brandon.

ONE TIME THING - BELLA RAMSEY (Final Part!)
Tumblr media
Summary: unbeknownst to you, you meet actor Bella Ramsey. You two hit it off but your paths lead two different directions.
Bella Ramsey x female reader
Taglist: @evieguhbyebroski @amberputh @assgardangod @nymwritespoetry @mainslutsblog @obsessedmunson @guacala @that-one-little-soybean @overtrred28
One week later(ish)
"Daenerys or Jon?"
"Jon"
"who should've ended up on the Iron Throne ?"
"Lyanna Mormont."
"Game of Thrones or the Last of Us?
"impossible question."
"wise choice."
"thank you."
You stared dumbfounded as your best friend fired question after question at Bella. It had been going on for at least ten minutes, you felt sorry for Bella. You and Bella sat on the couch, whilst Aaron sat on the armchair beside it, he leaned forwards in his chair, staring Bella down as he asked her questions he deemed "excruciatingly important."
Bella didn't seem bothered by the almost interview like conversation with Aaron. Rather, they found it amusing.
"can you please stop interrogating my partner, please?" You almost begged. You had been silently watching the ordeal, not expecting it to last this long. You were leaned back on the couch, looking at Aaron unimpressed.
Bella chuckled as they looked at your bored face, Aaron glared at you but nevertheless he stopped with the questions.
"it's important to find out what kind of a person my best friend is dating. You'll be grateful one day, if they turn out to be a murderer." Aaron picked up his empty mug, standing up and going to the kitchen to refill it with coffee.
You rolled your eyes at his dramatics.
Bella hummed sarcastically, "I'm afraid I'm just a regular boring person. Not a murderer." They called out after at Aaron.
You watched as Bella turned their body around to face you. They smiled at the almost pitiful smile that you were sending them.
"sorry about him. He's a big fan of your work." You said apologetically.
Bella shook their head, leaning in closer to you and placing a light kiss on your cheek. "I don't mind." They said truthfully, looking up at you and giving you a smile.
You felt your face redden, like it always did. A gesture as small as a smile could make your heart plummet, and your legs give out. You hated it.
Bella rested their head on your shoulder, their body cuddled up to yours on the couch. You wrapped an arm around their waist, as they had theirs around your stomach. Your chin rested on their head.
"seriously? Why have a fridge, if you're not going to put food in it!" Aaron complained from the kitchen. The sound of keys being picked up from the counter was heard, then the sound of footsteps.
"Get chocolate digestives!" You called out, just before you heard Aaron shut the front door after him.
Bella moved their head to look up at you, a raised brow and an amused grin on their face.
"shut up, you eat cereal with orange juice for breakfast." You interrupted whatever remark they were going to say.
Bella groaned. They burried their face in your hoodie, letting out a sound of annoyance. You had told Aaron about the discovery, and since then Bella hasn't gotten a break.
"maybe if you would try it, you would understand why!" Their voice was muffled by the fabric of your hoodie.
You hummed, knowing you would never try it.
Lazily you flicked through the channels on the Tv, not finding anything good to watched you eventually turned it off.
You kept yourself occupied by playing with Bella's rings. They were thick and silver, two on their left hand and one on their right. You twisted them around their finger, admiring the patterns engraved on each of them.
"I always make sure to wear them when I'm doing interviews, or going to any events." Bella spoke up, their face still burried in your hoodie. "they help me when I'm feeling anxious, or need something to fiddle with. But I suppose you'll be with me for that instead. We can stay in a corner together." You felt them smile.
"i can't wait to hide in a corner with you Bella." You laughed, removing your fingers from their rings, and intertwining your hand with theirs instead.
Bella looked up at you with a large grin adorning their face, causing you to smile back just as wide. They leaned up, so their forehead was resting on yours.
"I'm so happy you sat beside me on that bus." They whispered.
"I'm so happy you stalked me at my work place." You smiled teasingly at them. Bella rolled their eyes, but their smile remained.
"It was hardly stalking. It was just a coincidence." Bella shrugged.
You quirked a brow, showing them you didn't believe their words. Bella didn't argue back, knowing you were too stubborn to believe them.
Instead of talking, Bella kissed you. Their kisses were soft and slow, different from how all your previous ex's kissed you. They were gentle, every touch from them sending you into a spiral of nerves. The good kind, the kind you got addicted to.
Bella moved so that they were hovering over you, their hands on either side of you to support their weight. They cupped your jaw with their hand, caressing your face with their thumb. You felt the hairs on the back of your neck raise as their cold ring met your warm skin.
"I forgot my wallet!"
The silence and peace you and Bella were trapped in, was interrupted by the door swinging open and Aaron's voice filling the home.
You pulled away from Bella, smiling sheepishly at them.
Bella groaned, dropping their head into the crook of your neck. You laughed at their attitude, combing your fingers through their soft wavy hair.
Aaron grabbed his wallet from the kitchen table, before walking out of the house completely oblivious to what he had interrupted and the frustration radiating from Bella.

Things I wish we got (other than a logical and slow journey to end the story):
Daenerys and Sansa having a TRUE back and forth, with real threats behind kind words
Daenerys trying to fit in but realising Westeros is not what she wished for
The comeback of Dany’s “I want to go home” (maybe as her last line)
The Starks having scenes together as a family and not only as warriors or leaders
Meera to come back and keep protecting Bran
Bran apologising to Meera and her being the only one who actually help him still be Bran
Meera
A princess of Dorne or maybe a pair of true equals as rulers (they already butchered the story line but they were better than half of Westeros)
Someone mentioning my husband and my wife Arthur and Ashara Dayne
Jaime mentioning Arthur Dayne
Dawn
Lyanna Mormont to call out Daenerys for she knows no queen/king other than the King/Queen in the North whose name is Stark
Arya protecting Sansa from Daenerys’ threats
Sisters time!!
Brothers time!!!
SIBLINGS TIME!!!
Yara and Sansa having a conversation about Theon (even a fight I would take, “he was our family as much as yours” kinda line)
Mention of Robb and Rickon
Jon giving an inspirational Speech
Jon speaking with Theon again
Jon and Theon fighting together
Jon giving orders
Jon bonding with the Unsullied (Greyworm)
JON
Seeing Tyrion’s conversation with Bran and Meera
Bran warging into a dragon or a person
Bran making decisions
Bran seeing the Night King’s past as a human and then turning on his companions (one of them is a Dayne and another is a Stark)
Everyone being scared of Bran but still respect him and love him for how much he tries to make things better
Meera being the only one who is never afraid of him (no matter how creepy it can get)
M E E R A
Tyrion having plan A, plan B and plan C
Tyrion having long conversations with all the Stark children about their journeys and future intentions
Cersei having real dialogue
Cersei mentioning Sansa
Sansa singing
Sandor talking about Sansa to other people
Gendry on the ship and Arya just smiling knowingly as she walks by
The wolf pack lead by Ghost and Nymeria
A dream of spring
A time for wolves

Don't you just love it when men are often credited with Dany's achievements, but nobody mentions that Jon would a) not have ridden Rhaegal if not for Dany, b) would not have risen from the dead if not for Melisandre and c) would not have become KITN if not for Lyanna Mormont?
I must admit - the veil has been completely lifted for me in terms of discussing the Season 8 characters. I can't see them as characters anymore, rather, incarnations of D&D's writing. When viewed this way, it's not surprising that the "characters" couldn't recognize the achievements of a character that they needed to completely erase the goodness and compassion of, in order to kill her off. (The good news is, though, that it didn't work too well for them.)
I watched an interesting video on YouTube a few months ago that talked about how that's one big "tell" in where GoT started to lose its quality. It went from a show where the characters therein seemed to move of their own volition through the story, with their own motivations guiding their actions. Season eight felt so alien because everything the characters said or did was all in service of what the plot "needed" to be. They said strange things, did strange things, behaved strangely, all because there was an endpoint they needed to reach in six episodes. So, in order to reach that point, what was left behind was an incoherent trail of events that made very little sense following pre-established in-universe logic.

EP 1 GOT SPOILERS BEWARE
SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Ok so summary of frikidoctor’s spoilers:
1.       Winterfell
a.       Jon x Dany arrive with the armies (Unsullied and Dothraki)
b.       Bran is a hurry to tell them the Wall has fallen and the NK has Viserion
c.       We get the S 1 parallel where Sansa greets Jonerys in the court: Sansa is very cold; Dany will tray to talk to her about how the North is beautiful and its people are interesting
d.       Meeting in the Great Hall (or whatever) Jon in the centre, Sansa and Dany flanking him (Dany looks cold) – Jon introduces Dany. The Umber boy is there to offer his men. Jon tells everyone the NK has Viserion and the Wall has fallen. We get Lyanna Mormont saying Jon is still KiTN but he will tell them that they need allies and only together they will survive. He brings up Cersei because she promised her troops in S7. Tyrion will speak in favour of Cersei, and he is convinced she will send the army (Friki thinks he is faking it because big betrayal) even if we as an audience know it’s bullshit. Northern Lords are pissed because WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE NEED TO TRUST LANNISTERS and they flip. Jon says they need all the allies. The meeting ends on a tense note.
e.       Sansa and Tyrion chat about their marriage (albeit it’s invalid because non consummation) and she asks him DO YOU REALLY TRUST CERSEI – and Tyrion speaks again in Cersei’s favour because he thinks she is preggers so he thinks she has a reason to fight (Friki stil doesn’t trust what Tyrion says)
f.        JON x ARYA reunion – she show him needle and she is a bit shy and worried about telling Jon because she is an assassin; the Stick them with the pointy end comes up. Arya realises Sansa doesn’t like Dany and Jon asks her to help him – talk to Sansa about Dany and vice versa because they need to bring them together
2.       King’s Landing
a.       Euron arrives with the Golden Company
b.       Quyburn tells Cersei that the NK has Viserion and breached the Wall and she is smiling (trailer) (although Friki doesn’t know how he knows this) because she thinks this means Dany and the North will die
c.       He presents Harry Strickland in the IT room to Cersei
d.       No elephants for the GC
e.       Euron blackmails Cersei to sleep with him and Cersei has no choice if she wants the GC so she has no choice but to do so
f.        Euron has Yara and he doesn’t kill her because she is family
g.       Theon saves Yara (confirmed that Yara is at the Tyrion trial) and he asks to go to WF to help the Straks (the dummies we saw are Theon’s men)
3.       Back at Winterfell
a.       Davos Varys and Tyrion know Jonerys is a thing and they are so obvious and in love and everyone can see it
b.       The Karstark troops arrive
c.       The scene in the trailer where Drogon and Rhaegal are with some charred bones – they are close to WF and close to the Dothraki because they are used to them. Dany takes Jon to dragon riding 101 (this is pre-reveal y’all!) – and they are being soft and she is like ok so you now ride Rhaegal. He eventually does (apparently because they know he NK has Viserion Dany will suggest this to Jon since he was able to tough Drogon). After they fly they have a heated kiss.
d.       Arya and the Hound reunion and he calls her out about leaving him to die but not killing him
e.       Arya and Gendry reunion – she asks him to modify the Valyrian dagger and apparently, he makes her a spear (the one we see her fight with in the video). Gendrya is real and he will call her My Lady and she will hate it and they have sexual tension and she remembers all their attraction.
f.        Council – Sansa is antagonising Jon again about bending the knee and she thinks he is not listening to her and asks him “Did you bend the knee for the North of for love?” She says he is still KiTN and he needs to fight for the North and not a foreign Queen. He says they are allies, but she pushes for explanations about bending the knee and reproaches him that. But we get jonerys vibes throughout this scene
g.       Dany tells Sam about the Tarly incident with the help of Jorah – he tells Dany how sal cured him. She comes clean to Sam. He is not surprised by his dad, but he is a bit sad about Dickon. Yet he is very honourable and doesn’t hold it against her. He is distraught and goes to Bran. Bran presses him to tell Jon about the R&L.
h.       Jon is in the crypts in front of Ned’s statue. Sam comes and tells him 3 things: about Dany and his dad and bro (he is not against Dany); Jon takes Dany’s side and says they are allies. He then tells him about R&L and that he is the legitimate heir to the IT. Jon is in denial because Ned would never because he is so honourable. Sam explains that Ned had no other choice or he would be dead. Jon keeps saying Dnay is the Queen of the 7K. And the scene cuts like that.
4.       Castle Black
a.       Tormund + Edd + Beric
b.       The NK comes for CB and CB will fall
c.       The trio wants to somehow let WF now about the Wall and Viserion (they don’t know they already know thanks to Bran)
d.       Something is uncovered when the Wall falls at CB and there are some WW/ NK symbols or mysterious message when the Wall falls (maybe drawings)
e.       When we see the AOTD we will see some old NW brothers risen

Do you think bellarke not being “confirmed” (like a kiss or a confession) by the end of the series is bad writing/disrespectful to fans? I can appreciate the story without a confirmation but I feel like they almost owe the audience this? Idk what’s your take on this
My take on this is part of why I’m struggling with being part of the 100 fandom right now. The 100 does not owe you confirmation of your ship. They are telling the story of Bellarke, but what they decide Bellarke to be is up to them. If you want to watch the story of Bellarke, it’s up to you to actually PAY ATTENTION TO THE STORY OF BELLARKE, not make up your own.
Everyone seems to feel that they are being disrespected by the show telling the story of the show. And I have a problem with this. I feel like the fandom is disrespecting the story by not letting it BE the story it is. I’m the first person to say that this IS the story of Bellarke, this is what we’ve been watching all this time and they have NOT betrayed that. They have continued to tell Bellarke for 6 seasons and every season they have gotten closer and deeper and more intimate and more epic. The love story that IS Bellarke is far more beautiful to me than what the fandom is demanding. If the story had pulled away from Bellarke at any point, I might have said that it was not going there. That they changed their minds or I was wrong. But it’s not. Every season the Bellarke love gets MORE. And every season when I see who they are at the end, I think it is more beautiful and more intense, even when it is also painful.
If this were a romance genre show, which requires, as part of its genre, that there be a HEA (happy ever after) where the love interests get together, then NOT getting together is a betrayal of the genre/audience/expectations. Although I’d like everyone to remember that Pride and Prejudice never had Elizabeth and Darcy get together, and the first confession resulted in an ABSOLUTE DESTRUCTION of the romance relationship and it wasn’t until the very last scene that we got a marriage proposal and acceptance.
As this is NOT a romance genre show, and is instead a post apocalyptic science fiction action survival show.... a HEA is NOT a requirement.
HOW they define Bellarke is UP TO THEM. What the endgame is IS UP TO THEM. Romance can definitely be an element of post apocalyptic science fiction survival shows, but the expectations are not the same for the genre. With the mythic and tragic element to this story, a HEA is ABSOLUTELY NOT GUARANTEED. And for the fandom to require it is an imposition on their part. Sorry.
We as the fandom don’t get to decide for them how this story should end. And to think we do is rather offensive.  Do you know? That’s where I think the disrespect is. When someone is telling a story, you let them tell it. You don’t demand your version.
Maybe people consider this perspective to be old fashioned, but this is my belief. Everyone should get the chance to TELL THEIR STORY. And this is what I want to encourage. it’s one of the reasons I love fanfiction because it’s a freedom to write your own story and tell your perspective and desires and fears. The more people who tell their story, the more perspectives we get. And I would defend the right of EVERYONE from beginning teen age writer to broadcast show runner.
The flip side of the directive to TELL YOUR OWN STORY is that we need to have an audience that listens when people tell their own story, because otherwise what’s the point? It’s not just about seeing yourself in the stories, it is ALSO about learning about other people’s stories, listening when people tell their version of the world. Sharing. being open to other perspective. So that means the flip side is LISTEN TO THEIR STORY.
When I listen to the story of The 100, and the bellarke story within The 100 story, I do not see a story that is missing anything. I do not see a story that is a betrayal of the audience, the expectations or itself. I see a story where a kiss or confession is NOT the culmination of their love. He just saved her life with NOTHING but his love. How could you possibly be disappointed by that? How could you feel cheated? I guess because fandom is more interested in romance genre which requires kiss/confess/sex? Or soap operas, which require melodrama in regards to romance and sex everywhere?
Listen. Do I WANT them to kiss? Yes. Of course. Am I frustrated that story goes so slow? Sure. But as I’m watching the show, I can see it is STILL developing and growing and getting deeper. We are not at the endgame. We are building the endgame. I don’t have a guarantee that they will get a HEA. I don’t have a guarantee that it won’t be last minute like P&P. I don’t have a guarantee that their love won’t be tragic and someone sacrifices for the other. I don’t have a guarantee that their love won’t be a particular myth like sun/moon who never get together (although since they are getting closer it would seem that they ARE not in a static orbit but heading for connection, in the case of binary stars I think that might meet in supernova, creation of a new galaxy and all that.)
To top it all off, I don’t like it when people ask me to make judgments on what I haven’t seen yet. And yet, the fandom does that ALL THE TIME. Like, you want me to feel betrayed by an eventuality that hasn’t happened yet and may not ever happened. No wonder you all think JR is your enemy. You’ve got him set up to be betrayer when he hasn’t done anything yet. You’re just PROJECTING that he’ll do that.
I mean, I’ve seen people say he’s just like D&D and will ruin The 100 the way they ruined GOT, but I don’t see that happening. I see resolutions of storylines that pull on the entire history of the show. I see all those parallels as they bring important elements back into play. I see characters working through their trauma and growing stronger.... none of this happened on GOT. Or, it started to and when they got to the end of GRRM’s story, they dropped it all. Which tells us that the structure and meaning of the story was coming from the author while the flash and dazzle was coming from the showrunners. And when they lost the support of the author, their story fell apart. The 100 has been JR’s baby from the start and the story HIS, and he’s refused to allow other people to push him from his story even when it caused problems.
But here’s the thing. If GOT had ended with the same people dead and the same people on the thrones, they COULD have made it a satisfactory ending. There’s no way to tell if it works or doesn’t work until you get the story. They COULD have tied it into the prophecies. They COULD have worked an epic tragedy, instead of dropping character arcs and forcing them to BECOME what they were all fighting against. They could have had them facing their pain and growing, even if they lost. That’s why Lyanna’s story and Theon’s story felt right and Dany’s and Jon’s and Jaime’s stories felt wrong. They could have USED the spirituality and magic they set up for Bran to make him a powerful scary king instead of “weird.” (that’s the worst. he’s not weird. he’s magic. do they even LIKE fantasy?) They could have made Sansa be a STARK instead of turning her into a Cersei-Littlefinger hybrid. Lyanna Mormont was a better Stark than Sansa. BUT THEY DIDN’T. The ending could have worked if they had valued the journey they took us on. THAT’S the betrayal. And the funny thing IS, I got all my endgames on that show. Jon and Dany. Arya and Gendry, Brienne and Jaime... got the kisses. got the sex scenes. got the confirmation. Did that stop them from betraying the audience???? NO. BECAUSE BONING IS NOT STORY.
Bellarke is the STORY of The 100. One of them. And we have not been betrayed. To be honest, I felt more hurt by the finales of seasons 2 and 4 than the finales of seasons 5 and 6 which gave us all the fandom outrage. Because in THE STORY Clarke and Bellamy are TOGETHER, closer and more epic than before. To be honest, they are practically one soul in two bodies at this point... they are being WRITTEN as soulmates. This isn’t just being told to us by word of god, you can SEE it. Clarke lived on, for six years with Bellamy’s soul inside of her. And Bellamy lived on with hers inside of him. And when she was body snatched, Clarke could reach out and contact HIM and when she was murdered inside her mind, he REACHED IN AND PULLED HER OUT.
And y’all are pissed off because Bellamy is still “technically” with someone he can barely have a decent conversation with? And spends no time or energy on?
I can’t listen to the complaining anymore. The story we HAVE is so good. And everyone is like BUT THE BONING!!!! BETRAYAL IS LACK OF BONING!!!!!
We aren’t misinterpreting this story. There are things we are misinterpreting, like the imagined war between Clarke and Spacekru, or Echo being a bad guy. Or Clarke being a bad guy. We’re imagining a shipwar too. B/E vs B/C. That doesn’t exist. Echo and Clarke are not enemies. They are not opposites. They are not good vs evil. Echo doesn’t have to be bad because Bellarke belongs together. B/E isn’t toxic. Taking Josephine into the woods was not a sign that Bellamy turned his back on his people. But we aren’t misinterpreting that Bellarke is the center of the story.
And I’m not going to say the story is betrayed by projecting my own speculation and blaming it on JR. Not sure anyone can tell their own story if we can’t tell the difference between OUR story and someone else’s story.
