introducing...Scarlet Ichiji of the Straw Hat Pirates, their archivist who chronicles their adventures in exact detail! this is his full appearence in the pre-timeskip aka Super Rookies era

i decided to put in some more effort and i must say that i got pleased with the lineart so far,

some trivia; Ichiji wanted to dress accourdingly as a pirate and took inspiration from Zeff's stories about his pirate life, he's the only one on the crew (so far) who looks like a traditional pirate.

he came, he saw and he understood the assignment 🤣

Ichiji looks very Gender™, he attracts many male admirers on any island they visit. not that he minds, of course (unlike Sanji lmao)

...honestly, i think Tim Ledsam (look him up) would've been a perfect fit for his English voice
