"THE FOOL" - a Fairest Librorum (from Kith and Kin), who was often left to guard the vast knowledge of her Keeper in the guise of a strange horned lion-creature. What marks her different from a Beast is that even at her most intimidating, her mien is clearly cultivated. She is less wild, more deliberate. After escaping her Keeper, the Fool -- real name forgotten, left in the dust on a Victorian street (or was it earlier, it's not as if she can tell anymore) -- found herself guarding the tomb of a particularly manic Mummy ( @acheronarcanist ). It's a sweet enough deal for her. She sleeps, and rises, and helps. In turn, while her counterpart rests, as long as the Fool remains in the Tomb, her huntsman cannot find her.

It's a cozy life, and she's pleased to have it.

I made a few new wax seal stamps out of clay (like the ones I did for my worldbuilding stuff forever ago), this time just of random symbols that I thought might look good done in the style of painting over the raised part of the wax or etc. :0c Some of them aren't carved deep enough to really show up that well, but overall they worked okay for being clay lol

the way garak looks at bashir as he puts all the clues together at the end of cardassians. the sheer 'look at that little twink go (affectionate, sexual overtones)' energy he manages to convey in the background there as bashir passionately does the presentation of their group project that garak did 80% of the actual work on. immaculate

and he somehow walks out with a job because the afformentioned god of fear wants to know What His Fucking Deal Is.

Idk I’ve just been in dress up doll mode but hey it works as clothing practice.

He let his hair grow out when he reunited with Kraw but in his previous job he kept it short and was kind of intense about being taken seriously with his rep where he mostly worked with Myce within the Ladder’s jurisdiction in the Drifting Lights Cluster (a group of connected uptown metropolis islands).

sketch ref wip for the The Fool -- or the Red-Toothed Wolf, as she's known in other Cities. :) Fallen London's first Werewolf, servant/right claw/paramour of Mr. Cards (as written by @acheronarcanist ) -- changed by her own perceptions as she blunders through Parabola and deals with the Starved Men (wounds. she means wounds, and the first Death, falling from the sky, ALL LOST, ALL HANDS LOST, SO PLUMMETS THE CROWNED CRANE), The Fool slowly becomes more of a shapeshifter; the Correspondence, the Discordance, all of it loops together to alter her sense of self. she wears, always, the red stockings, though often with big steel-toed boots.
