Caleb -- boy genius, chosen protégé of one of the most powerful evil wizards in all the land, with an incredible memory that puts wizarding on easy mode, who said things "came more easily" to him than the other two -- has just spent "so much time working on this" ancient artifact to stop Trent. Weeks of puzzling and tinkering but it's Caleb so of course he gets it eventually. Yet at the moment of triumph it doesn't work and he's stumped.

Then Astrid just rolls up like, "What's that?" rocks a 24, and immediately fixes a critical issue on this totally-unknown-to-her Arcanum object. LOL

Like, he doesn't even tell her what it actually is! He just does that thing where he's all vague and dramatic, lmao.

(Correction--She got a 24, not 26. Post changed to reflect that. Also "than me" --> "than I was." Caleb is nothing if not grammatically correct.)

Logical extremes? Lol he starts fucking mutating I guess. Permanent blue stripes, his ears get longer, his senses get heightened, he gets stronger. Picture the movie chronicle. The bullshitery that would ensue would be a lot of him, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuk in the woods testing his "powers." Like before Spider could not jump off a branch his high without breaking an ankle. Now lets see. Just like a dumb superhero type montage of them like, attempting all this stuff that would've killed him as a human. Neteyam and Neytiri would be HORRIFIED to discover what they've been up to, but Jake is lowkey mad they didn't invite him so he too could watch Lo'ak chuck Spider off that cliff into the ocean to see just how hard his bones are now. Kiri's taking notes like any good scientist would. Spider and Lo'ak are having the time of their LIVES. Tuk is LOVING IT because Spider has to carry her everywhere as a built in endurance/strength test.
