Just a small thing I'm willing to share because I had this thought all summer since I began reading your stuff - I can't stop listening to the glee version of "You spin me round" because I keep picturing Jake singing this on Karaoke night at the Hard deck and pointing to his poor s/o every five seconds of the song, having Coyote and Payback hooting along, Rooster's sulking on the piano bench (singing was his thunder) with an amused grin on his face, and Phoenix being annoyingly happy for you while being like "oh my god bagman🙄 stop gyrating"

And the s/o blushes so hard at the attention and regrets downing their drink just before this performance - and just the fact that they never realized Jake could hold notes like that is kind of a turn-on (he does occasionally sing while they're listening to music in his truck together but the drive would make his notes all wobbly y'know and the mood would be too playful most of the time for him to really show his vocals off)

By the time Jake finishes the show right in front of where they're sitting, they're like "holy fuck that was incredible??? why am i just discovering this" while he presses a chaste kiss on their cheek from being too sweaty to give her a full hug from all the dancing (he passes on the microphone to Fanboy, who's up next singing "you give love a bad name" with a very reluctant Bob who fucking kills it)

bonus: when it's Rooster's turn, he ditches the karaoke machine and insists on playing live on the piano like the diva he can be and the reader spends the rest of the night on Jake's lap🦋🦋🦋

I enjoy poetry! creative writing is clearly one of my outlets! I'm actually taking an intro creative fiction writing class rn and plan on taking the regular fiction writing class and a screen writing class next semester!

I love them! I love curling up on my couch and doing whatever! writing, watching movies, cuddling my cats or bf, cooking, etc. anything cozy is my favorite for those days!

Getting my nails done for the first time was an experience, alright, I could see why people did it regularly - especially since they offer you a significant amount of discount for getting a new design after they help you scrape off the last one😚💅🏻

I got a vinyl-looking lavender color that was called "mirror powder," and for my first time, I think it was a safe choice. I wish I'd waited until my nails were a lot longer so I could have them shaped sharp like I did all summer - but the square was the sensible choice if I was going to write as much as I am.

I was the last customer, so the place was really quiet. I would've preferred that to a rowdy atmosphere normally, but the lady who did my nails and I often fell into an awkward silence that triggered my anxiety a few times, so 😳
