You fought desperately against the tears blurring your vision. Walking far too fast for someone wearing high heels.

The wind bristled and howled around you, musing your styled hair and numbing your face.

What was supposed to be a fun Valentines day vacation was now going to be the same as every weekend: alone with chocolate and Netflix.

The guy you found on Tinder was supposed to be different than the others. He hadn't made any gross or sexual comments to you, being extremely compassionate and respectful.

You'd met in person twice for brunch and coffee, and video chatted several times. You knew this was definitely not love, but the attraction was certainly there.

You'd both agreed on needing a getaway and with it being so close to Valentine's day, you offered to rent out a gorgeous cabin and spend some time up in the woods.

It was a four-day vacation, starting today, Friday night where you both agreed to dress fancy and get dinner. Then after, you'd both drive up to the cabin and relax.

You weren't sure what happened. What was said or wasn't said. What had suddenly changed.

But you got stood up.

You'd waited over an hour for him at the restaurant and called him three times, only for it to go to voice-mail.

When you checked Tinder you'd also found out he blocked you. You scoffed, so much for being a gentleman.

Now you were rushing home in the cold, fighting hard against tears as you stormed up the stairs.

Opening and slamming your door, you threw your jacket onto the ground and ripped off your shoes.

As you stood, something moved in your apartment, you gasped, then felt another rush of tears.

You chuckled softly, wiping at your tears, it was always like this with Leo, even when you first met all those years ago.

In your late high school years, your dad got into some bad business. When his "friends" came to collect some money, he urged you out into the alleyway by your apartment and into the sewers so you wouldn't get caught in the crossfire.

You rushed away, going through tunnel after tunnel until you ran headfirst into your soon to be best friends chest.

The four brothers took you in when your father got arrested, giving you your own room, helping you bring some of your belongings down there. Donnie even helped get you back into school and again in college.

They were family, but Leo had always been a little more. He was tall, smart, funny, loyal, and oh so handsome.

But by the time you realized you had a crush on Mr. Honor boy himself, he was already going out with a new rookie cop.

You swallowed your pride, knowing his happiness meant more than having him as a romantic partner.

Some time passed and your crush simmered away (lies) and the rookie cop moved away, breaking up with Leo over text which led you here.

"Thanks, Lee,"

He smiled, genuine and sweet, he opened his mouth to say something when your phone buzzed in your pocket.

Pulling it out, it wasn't your date but the realtor's website confirmation of the cabin. A fresh wave of tears flooded your vision.

"Is it him? What'd he say?" Leo's tone hardened, fists clenching at his sides.

"No," You wiped your nose. "It's the cabin I rented, I can't go back on it, you have to cancel 24 hours in advance at the latest, and I'm supposed to be there in an hour,"

"Why not go and just have the weekend to yourself? Get those expensive face masks in your drawers that you're always talking about and just treat yourself," Leo gestured to your master bathroom.

You sighed. "I didn't want to spend the weekend alone, tomorrow's Valentine's day for Pete's sake," You didn't want to sound whiney but you were upset, and rightfully so.

Then it hit you.

"Didn't Master Splinter give you boys the weekend off because he went on that inner piece trip with Mikey?" You point a finger at him.

He nods. "Well, yeah-"

"Come with me," You interrupt, stepping closer to him.

"Let's go up to the cabin, lord knows you need a break too," You take his hands in yours, squeezing. "Please, come to the cabin with me,"

The next thirty minutes went by in a blur. Leo left to go pack a bag and you double checked your own suitcase.

You decide to throw in your expensive skin care products that you always felt bad about using. Some bath bombs, face masks, and some soft brushes.

You went to your apartments garage, unlocking and getting in your car, putting your suitcase in the trunk. You drove down the road to Donnie's garage entrance in the abandoned part of town.

Leo had a suitcase in hand, wrapped up in a thick jacket and scarf and quickly got in the back seat (he couldn't fit in passenger).

He set his suitcase in with yours then rubbed his hands together to warm them. "Uber for Leo?" He joked, extending his legs to the next seat.

You laughed, driving off to the interstate. You chatted and laughed and listened to music, the cabin wasn't far but it was dark out now.

It was only 8:25 PM yet it felt like midnight.

Finally, right before 9, you were pulling into the cabin's driveway. You backed in, going right into the garage for Leo.

He brought both your suitcases inside and set them in the kitchen, looking around. Shutting off the car you did the same, gasping as you saw the beautiful interior.

"I see why you rented this place, it's nice," Leo wandered around, a wide smile on his face, turning on lights as he went.

You laughed, taking off your boots by the door and wandering around as well.

A few doors down from the dining hall you found the study, which was a large ship-laped room filled with bookshelves and had a large stone fireplace against the back wall.

"Hey, Lee!" You called. "You gotta see this fireplace!" You stepped into the room, mouth agape.

He appeared in the doorway, he whistled low. "That things huge,"

"Oh, and there's a fuzzy rug in front of it too! How on earth was this place not booked up until next year?"

"Do you want me to put your suitcase in the master bedroom?" He asked, pointing back out into the hall.

"Oh, I can do it, but you could help by getting dinner started," You waved your hand dismissively.

"Great, and when the place burns down we can blame the fireplace,"

You both made and ate dinner together, laughing and chatting the whole time.

Now it was much later and you were both siting on the floor in the study in front of the fireplace.

Leo lit it while you moved the coffee table out of the way, making room for the both of you on the rug.

Leo left for a moment then came back in with two large bags of mixed candy. You opened the bags and dug through them, eating and chatting.

"This is much better," You say around a snickers, licking your lips.

"The candy?" Leo murmurs.

"No, us," That makes Leo stop and look up at you, swallowing hard, the nutty candy scratching his throat.

"Us?" He repeats, mouth suddenly very dry.

"I'm glad you're here, I really didn't want to be alone after tonight," You look sadly off towards the fire.

Leo, scoots closer to you, placing a hand on your arm. You look up at him.

"He doesn't deserve you, none of those assholes who have left you on read or stood you up when you looked that divine aren't worth your time and energy,"

"You thought I looked divine?" You whisper softly, fingers fidgeting with a candy wrapper.

"You always do," You were sure what was different but there was something new in his eyes, something you'd never noticed before.

He swallowed hard, leaning forward. "Y/n, I-"

Your phone started to ring in your pocket, jumping you both, you pulled it out to shut it up. Stopping when you saw you dates ID. You sigh, you forgot he had your actual number.

Leo's hand slipped away from your arm, and even though you were in front of a fireplace it felt cold without him.

You knew Leo was giving you space to answer, but did you want to?

You denied the call, tossing your phone onto the couch behind you. Leo looked to you with shocked eyes.

"His loss," You shrugged, not breaking eye contact. "What were you going to say before?"

Leo then froze, looking at your phone then back to you, he licked his lips.

How did you manage to crack his bitchy exterior is beyond me!

But you did, and now Leo is all yours, which comes with all its quirks.

One of her favorite things in the world is spending a day on a beach somewhere. A day on the beach with some of her favorite people sounds like her perfect day. It’s why she immediately said yes when Mason asked if she’d want to to go with him to the Ducks’ end of season party.

She’s so excited that she’s up two hours before the alarm is set to go off. She decides that she won’t be able to get back to sleep so she makes her way out to the kitchen to bake some cookies for the guys. She doesn’t want to wake Mason up so she decides to busy herself.

After a cup of coffee, she gets started on the first batch of cookies.

The alarm goes off at eight like expected since they have to leave at nine to go get Trevor and Leo. She’s pulling a third tray of baked cookies out of the oven when she hears footsteps in the hallway after the alarm is shut off.

“Uh, good morning?” Mason says, confusion evident in his voice. “Why are you awake so early and baking?”

She turns her head once the tray is on the counter. “I woke up and couldn’t sleep so I decided to bake some cookies so I wouldn’t wake you,” she explains. “I thought that I should bring something to the party.”

Mason laughs and wraps his arms around her waist. He presses a kiss to the swell of her ear. “You are insane for baking so early,” he laughs. “Time to get ready to go though. We have to go pick up Z and Leo.”

“Cookies have to cool anyway before I put them in a container,” she tells him. “I’ll get ready then put them in a container.”

He pecks her neck and she smiles. “Sounds like a plan to me,” he replies. Mason grabs one of the smaller cookies and eats it. He runs away before she can slap his hand. She rolls her eyes and follows him to their bedroom.

Her boyfriend disappears into the bathroom that's attached to the bedroom while she changes out of her pajamas into the cute bikini she picked out for the day. It's a simple black bikini. The top ties around her back and behind her neck. The sides of her bottoms tie.

She throws on a sheer black coverup and ties her hair up in a ponytail as Mason comes out of the bathroom in his swim shorts and a Ducks hockey t-shirt. His curls are wild. She can't help but walk over to him and mess with his curls. "Baby," he groans as he tries to grab her hand. "Stop."

"I'm trying to tame your curls, Mase," she laughs. "They're all over the place. You need a haircut."

"And cut the curls?" he questions. "I thought you liked my curls. You throw a fit every time I have to cut them."

"I do," she giggles. "But there comes a time when we have to make some sacrifices. I'm willing to sacrifice some of your curls if it means you don't have a birds nest on your head every morning."

Mason playfully rolls his eyes and leaves the bedroom. She slides on a pair of flip flops and runs out after him.

He packs their beach bag. Two towels for both of them, sunscreen, a book for her since she likes reading on the beach, and a frisbee that Mason got at some point in his life. After all 35 cookies are in a Tupperware container, she puts it in the bag. She grabs her sunglasses and they are out the door to go pick up Trevor and Leo. He grabs one of the beach chairs on the way out.

Jamie might make a quick appearance since he's in Anaheim to pick up the last of his things before he goes to Canada for the offseason. She's not sure if he's definitely coming, but she misses him and hopes he does come by the party for a bit. She was probably closer to Jamie than she is to anyone else on the team other than Mason. They're super close. Well, they were when he wasn't playing across the country in Philly.

She drives while Mason texts both Trevor and Leo. Z is closer so they go to pick him up first. When he gets in the car, she wishes that they picked up Leo first because Trevor just starts talking in the backseat.

Leo gets in the car when Trevor and Mason are in a conversation about whether or not Jamie is coming. Neither have heard from him in a few days, and she hasn't either.

The twenty minute drive to Long Beach doesn't feel very long after she puts Miss Swift on. It drowns out most of the conversation that the boys are having. Trevor joins her in singing along to Taylor every couple of songs.

It's about ten in the morning when she finds a spot in the nearest parking garage. Mason carries their bag and the beach chair. She did offer to carry something but Mason didn't let her despite still feeling his knee injury that kept him from playing the last few games of the season. He walks with a slight limp and has for a little bit since he hurt his knee.

A few of the Ducks are already on the beach when they get on the sand. Franky, Minty, Comber, and Dosty have saved a rather large spot on the beach for them. She sets herself up under one of the umbrellas. Mason claims the beach chair first.

"Nope, get up," she tells him. Mason looks up at her. "Sunscreen before you do anything else. I don't need to go to the hospital with you because you got sun poisoning or something."

Mason groans. "I'm under an umbrella," he argues. "I'll be fine."

"Mason McTavish," she sternly says. "You are 21. Put on sunscreen or I will have Z and Minty hold you down while I do it myself. No hospital trips because you forgot to put on sunscreen even though I told you to put it on."

He blinks at her and sighs. She smiles as he listens to her and grabs the sunscreen out of their bag. It's a bottle of lotion so he's able to rub it in everywhere except his back. He holds the bottle out to her and asks, "Get my back please?"

She stands up from sitting on her towel to help out Mason. She puts some of the lotion on his back and begins to rub it in.

A soft moan passes Mason's lips and she lightly slaps his shoulder. "Stop it," she tells him, but she has a smile on her face.

"Not my fault I can't keep it together when your hands are all over me like this," he comments. "Plus, it feels really good when you press on my back like that."

She rolls her eyes and shakes her head. The smile still on her lips as she finishes up.

"Since we're at it, can you do mine?" she questions. She pulls off the cover up that didn't do a lot to cover up what she was wearing under since it was totally see through. Mason's eyes are on her the entire time as she tosses the cover up in the bag.

"Yeah I can," he replies. He's very enthusiastic about it too. She laughs and turns. Mason takes the bottle out of her hands.

The lotion is so cold on her skin. She shivers as Mason begins to rub it into her back. She bites her lip because it does feel really good. Especially when he gets to the back of her neck. "You're so right," she sighs. "It feels good, and it's not just because it's you."

Mason laughs. "That's what I'm saying!"

He continues down her back to make sure he gets every inch of her skin. He gets lower and lower until he rubs whatever is left on his hands on her ass. She squeals and slaps his arm. "Inappropriate, Mason," she tells him.

"It's in my face, baby," he teases. "I had to. I couldn't resist."

Before she turns around, Mason presses a peck to her neck right under her ear. "You're insufferable," she softly says.

"Yeah, yeah," he laughs. "Can I go now? I'm all sunscreened up."

She turns and says, "I want a proper kiss first."

A mischievous smirk forms on Mason's face as he leans in. Then he deeply and slowly kisses her, making her weak in the knees. He takes his time with the kiss, which earns him some chirps from his teammates.

Mason pulls back from the kiss and she frowns. "I know, we're sitting and watching the sun set together," he tells her. "I'll make sure that I'm with you when the sun begins to go down. Promise."

He always keeps his promises too.

The party really begins when Jamie Drysdale makes his appearance. Every single one of his former teammates nearly tackles him when he shows up around one that afternoon. Mason and Trevor in particular are very excited to see him. The three of them were like brothers and were always together.

She watches Mason, Trevor, and Jamie throw around the frisbee while they talk. She even sneaks a picture or two of them so she can show them later.

Most of the day, she sits around with the other wives and girlfriends. Mason is busy in the water or watching the boys play volleyball or just chatting with his teammates. Occasionally he’ll come up and say something to her, but she tells him have some fun with his teammates before they head to Canada for the offseason.

It’s probably around three when Mason comes walking up to her. She’s laying on her stomach and is reading Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice when he approaches her. Some water droplets fall on her back, and they feel really good in the dry California heat.

“Yes?” she asks with a smile.

“Come with me for a second,” he tells her. “I promise I’m not going to do anything bad. Just come with me.”

She puts her book facedown on the towel to mark what page she was on before she gets up.

As soon as she’s on her feet, Mason scoops her up in his arms. She squeals and squirms to get out of his grasp. “Mason! Don’t you dare do what I think you’re about to do!”

“What am I about to do?” he innocently questions as he walks toward the crashing waves.

“If you throw me in that ocean, we’re going to have some issues, McTavish,” she warns him. Of course there’s a hint of playfullness in her voice but she isn’t going to be very happy if she ends up in the water.

His legs hit a wave and water splashes up and hits her lower back. She shivers and wraps her arms around his neck. “I never said I was going to throw you in the ocean,” Mason says.

He treks until the water reaches his waist.

Then he drops her in the water.

She doesn’t go completely underwater but it takes her a moment to get on her feet. “Mason!” she gasps from the sudden cold. “I’m going to kill you.”

“No you won’t,” he laughs. “You look cute in the water.”

She jumps and wraps herself around him. She uses all her weight to try to get him under the water, but he is so much stronger than she is. She groans and plants her feet back in the sand. “I hate you,” she mumbles as she pushes her hair out of her face so the salt water doesn’t get in her eyes.

Mason takes a step to her in the water as a wave pushes the water up to their chests to helps her. His fingers rest under her chin so she looks up at him. Water droplets fall from his curls and down his face. “You love me,” he tells her with a smile. “No matter if I throw you in the water or not.”

A wave pushes her closer to her boyfriend. Their chests are flush against each other and she smiles. Her face gets hot at the intense moment of affection. She isn’t the biggest fan of public affection but sometimes she’ll enjoy a moment or two.

This one is intense, but she guesses it’s okay. They just have minimal clothing on at one of the most public places in the world.

“I do love you,” she confesses. “Have you been enjoying your day with the team? I know you guys wanted to make playoffs but you guys just were so unlucky with injuries.”

Mason’s hands come down to rest on her waist so she can’t go anywhere. “I know, but we’re still trying,” he tells her. “There’s always next season. We just need that ‘next man up’ mentality that we lacked this season. We’re a very young team, and we’re ready. We just need to stay healthy.”

She smiles at his response. Despite only two full years in the NHL, Mason already seems like he knows what he’s talking about. He’s so knowledgeable about hockey and team mentality.

A wave pushes her into Mason and they both share a soft laugh. She looks up at him before he leans down and captures her lips in a salty kiss. She giggles and drapes her arms over his shoulders as she returns the kiss.

Mason wraps his arms around her waist and lifts her up so she wraps her legs around him. Her ankles hook behind him so she doesn’t fall into the water. She brushes his soaked curls out of his face so the salt water stop dripping down his face and into the kiss. He cups the back of her thighs to keep her up.

A bigger, more powerful wave knocks Mason off his feet and they both crash into the shallow water. They both laugh as they find their footing again. “Probably our cue to stop before something happens and we’d have to abandon Leo and Z to go home and handle things,” he says.

“Speak for yourself about going home,” she replies. “I’d find a way to ride you somewhere in a more secluded or private area. We can’t abandon Leo and Trevor.”

Mason’s face turns bright red as she laughs and walks back to her towel to dry off. When she turns around, she finds Mason talking with Trevor, Jamie, Leo, Minty, and Zelly. Trevor claps him on the back and the boys laugh.

This is one thing that she loves about hockey. Mason will always have his boys. Playoffs or not. Stanley Cup or not. He will have his boys and they will always have him.

The sun begins to set around six. Everyone is out of the water and is playing either volleyball or throwing around the frisbee. A couple of players sit with their significant other while they watch the sun set over the pacific ocean.

Mason makes his way over to where his girlfriend sits. He sits behind her and wraps his arms around her shoulders as she takes in the view in front of her. Her back is pressed against his chest and she smiles.

It’s the perfect way to end a perfect beach day.

She feels Mason kiss the swell of her ear. “Have a good day, baby?” he whispers. “You seemed to have fun.”

With a nod and a sigh, she replies, “It was the best day. I really did have a lot of fun. I enjoyed getting a tan when I wasn’t with you. I had fun throwing around a frisbee and playing doubles volleyball with Jamie. I finished my book too after a few weeks of not reading it.”

“Glad you had fun,” Mason laughs. “The guys seemed to enjoy your morning cookies too, by the way. They were all gone by two. I think Z and Jimmy ate most of them.”

She laughs and sinks back against her boyfriend. “They would eat all the cookies,” she sighs as she rests her hands on Mason’s arms. “I’ll have to send Jamie back to Philly with some, or ship them to him next season. Oh! Maybe I’ll give him some when the Flyers play the Ducks in Anaheim next season.”

He laughs again and shakes his head. “You are insane,” he tells her. “But I love you anyway.”

“You better, or no more cookies for you,” she teases.

Mason pokes her side in retaliation and she giggles. He smiles as she turns around and places herself in his lap. She brushes his curls out of his face for probably what is the millionth time today.

“Is it weird to say that I can’t wait to do this again next season?” he asks as he traces shapes into her thighs. “I mean, I’ve never been on a team where we were actually a contending team but I can’t wait to get back on the ice next season with the guys.”

She smiles and runs her thumbs over his lips. “You have a family in your team, Mase,” she tells him. “Those guys are your brothers. You’d ride or die for them. It makes so much sense that you would want to play with them again, no matter if you’re a contending team or not. I love the bond you have with them. Even former teammates like Jamie. That’s why you’re excited to play with them again next season.”

Mason trails his fingers from her thighs to her back. “So smart,” he replies. “I do love them like brothers, but I love you more. I’m so grateful to have your here with me.”

“I love this crazy journey you’re on,” she says. “Happy to be on it with you.”

He smiles and leans up to kiss her.

Yep. The perfect ending to a perfect beach day.

you stood stunned, looking at your boyfriend as he stood there having just climb out of the greek ship. you were too shocked to move towards him, almost a year ago you had started dating and then a couple of months ago he completely disappeared but that time he was missing only made your feelings for him grow.

you had grown desperate to find him and when you found out that he had been sent to camp half-blood you had felt relieved because that meant that there was a chance he was still alive and that you would be able to see him again.

you finally got over your surprised and when you took one step to run towards him like the blonde had done for percy, you didn’t know how you hadn’t notice the hand that jason was holding or the way he was looking at you with guilty eyes.

those same eyes that used to look exactly like that when he did something that you didn’t like, for example one time he made your entire cohort have cleaning duty for a week for something only one of you guys did. it pissed you off extremely that all of your cohort had to pay for somebody’s mistake, now that look was there and you didn’t like it one bit.

you finally reached a place where you could have some privacy with him, it was actually the thinking tree. the spot where you and jason met, where he met up with you a couple of times before dating you, where he asked you out, where you had your first kiss with him, where you two said your first i love you and where you last saw each other until now.

you were the one to name the tree and you remember jason’s sweet laugh when you told him the name, he found it interesting that you liked to come under a tree so that you would be able to think with nothing else in mind and then go and give it a name.

“you remember this?” you asked him, nodding at the tree.

“yeah…” he looked at it and you hoped he was getting deja vu.

Originally I was going to do both Bayverse and Rottmnt but I wrote this pretty late and couldn’t come up with many ideas for Bayverse. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

I feel like Raph is the kind of person to act casual around his crush and then freak out later

He’ll get excited around you and try to show you extra care

He’s also going to be very worried for your safety

If you had plans to go over to the lair and end up being 10 minutes late he’s already picturing the worst

Raph does try show off his muscle and strength sometimes

Particularly if you watch him train it’s a huge confidence boost

But his favourite moments are when you get to watch him win against one of his brothers while sparring

Leo:

It was flu season and well, you had an incredibly weak immune system.

If felt like your brain was stuffed with cotton balls and you couldn't breath through your nose.

Breathing through your throat hurt but it was the only way to get your oxygen.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Safe to say you haven't stopped by the lair in a while and contacting the guys was the least of your worries.

Leo was getting worried so he decided to stop by your place and was terrified to see you so sick and BY YOURSELF.

WHO LEAVES A SICK PERSON ALONE???

Nononononono.

You'll try and tell him your fine and that you can take care of it but he's attitude is basically "no shut up."

He will get you all your meals, refill your water as many times he needs to, gets you all your medicine, and anything else you might need.

If there is something he can do, he will.

And well... You felt spoiled.

It would be a lie to say you didn't enjoy it.

This was the first time someone had ever made such a fuss about you.

And it continued until you were all better.

"Hey Leo, can I come in?" You ask outside his bedroom.

This is the first time you'd stopped by the lair since you'd gotten over your sickness.

"Of course," he answered.

As you entered you saw him reading over some Japanese scrolls on his desk. You walked towards him and looked over his shoulder to get a better view.

"There Master Splinters," he told you, "He says it's important to know the events of the past in order to learn from them."

He continued to tell you about what he was reading and why he thought it was important but you couldn't hear him. You wished you could have listened better but the burning sensation tingling just below your skin was too distracting.

He had been with you all day everyday during your sickness and now that you were better, you really missed him. You wanted to kiss his face and wrap his arms around you. You watched the way his lips moved as he spoke to you and the way his face lit up while talking. As you sat there watching him a warm glow bloomed between you both. A soft comfortable atmosphere full of love.

As he was talking you reached out and wrapped him in a hug, unable to keep to yourself any longer.

"Y/n? Are you alright?" You weren't normally super touchy, so this was new for him.

"Yeah. Keep talking."

He eyed you curiously but then picked up where he had left off. This time though he wrapped his arm around you and leaned back on his other. You nuzzled further into the crook of his neck before pecking the bottom of his gaw. This time his pause was quite abrupt.

"Are you sure you're alright? You aren't acting like yourself," he questioned.

"I'm better than ever Leo. I just feel like cuddling my boyfriend," you looked up at him, "Is that so wrong?"

Leo flushed but then smiled softly at you.

"Not at all."

Raph:

When you called Raph and said you wouldn't be stopping by for a while, naturally, he was curious as to why.

He was also curious why your voice was so raspy and why you were coughing.

When you told him you were sick, all three of those questions were answered and he was on his way to you before you even hung up.

He showed up at your place like 🧍let me in.

Safe to say you were very confused by his sudden appearance.

You let him in and he took out a can of soup from a plastic bag he was holding and then handed the bag over to you.

He would detail everything it contained before telling you to get some rest while he made you something to eat.

After he left your room you kinda just stood there staring at the door he had disappeared through.

The bag had different kinds of medicine for specific symptoms, a couple movies, some non sugary snacks, and a rice bag you could heat up or through in the freezer for later.

He was a surprisingly comforting presence to have around when sick.

And he stuck with you throughout the whole thing.

Safe to say that after the whole thing you felt like showing him some lovin'

Raph had come to check in on you as early as possible, as per the routine for the past couple of days. He would show up in the dark hours of the morning, stay till midnight when you were fast asleep, leave, repeat. This way when you were awake he was always there.

Today though, you were already awake. Granted you were still in bed, in your pjs. It was clear you haven't left your bed. But you were sitting on your bed, wide awake, reading a book.

"Good morning," you greeted him, setting your book down to look at him.

"How long have you been up? Shouldn't you be asleep to help you get better," he posed the question as more of a statement.

"I'm already better," you smiled at him.

"Really now?" He walked over to you with a playful smile on his face.

He knew you were being silly, which is why he has a hard time believing you were actually better. He leaned down a little and placed a hand on your forehead. You weren't particularly warm. He grabbed the thermometer from off your nightstand.

"Really Raph?" You teased.

"Really," he teased back.

He set it in your mouth and waited a couple of seconds until it beeped. When it did he pulled it out and read a normal and completely healthy temperature. He set it down and looked back at you.

"you breathing okay? No stuffed nose or sore throat?"

"Nope!"

"Your not sore anywhere?"

"Not even a little bit!"

Raph stood quiet for a bit. He cycled between looking at you, touching your head, and checking the thermometer a couple of time.

"Are you sure?"

If you didn't know any better he almost seemed a bit disappointed. Unbeknownst to you, he actually enjoyed the time he took to take care of you. You decided to try something. You scooted over on your bed and opened the covers a little bit for him.

"Come on," you softly while patting the space next to you.

His eyes widened not expecting the offer, but took it quickly. You leaned into him resting your head on his collar bone.

"I- what?" He choked out.

"I am feeling a little tired though. Rest with me?"

Okay, so maybe you didn't want this to end just yet either. No one has ever devoted so much time and energy to you before and you just wanted to soak up as much of his presence as you could. Raph didn't say anything in response. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled the blanket higher on the both of you.

Donny:

You weren't feeling to hot.

Or, scratch that, you felt waaaay to hot.

And not in the good way.

You decided some time in bed would be a good idea so you called Don to tell him you wouldn't be coming round for a while.

Today was supposed to be a date too but oh well😔

When he learned that you were sick he gathered everything he could find to help and made us way over to you.

I'm talking immune boosting tea, liquid IV, vitamin D chewables, vitamin water with antioxidants, ect.

Bro wants you to get better so fast.

Just take it, don't be like, 'no it's okay, you don't have to do that it's not that bad!'

Cuz then he will want to cook for you.

And I'm not joking when I say that is it canon that this man CANNOT COOK.

Please don't let him near your kitchen, just take the vitamins.

After you take everything he brought and settled in for a nap he'll kinda just stand there awkwardly.

Like, he want to help more but he's already done everything he could think of.

Unless you invite him to cuddle or something he's just gonna hang around your room until you wake up.

He didn't leave you side the entire time you were sick, and well, it touched you.

After you got better, you felt it was only fair that you returned the favor.

"Hey Don?"

"Yes hon?"

"You at a good stopping place?"

"Huh? Uh... Yeah... juuuuu-" he made a few short adjustments to the contraption infront of him, "-uuuuuust there! What do you need?"

He turned to you with a smile on his face.

"You're not feeling sick again are you?"

"What? Oh, no no. I'm feeling great!" Standing up straight to showcase your good health.

"That's good then," he guided you to the couch in the train car and sat you down, "what can I do for you then?"

"Actually can you sit next to me for a second?" You asked.

"Oh sure," he took a seat next to you on the couch.

You really missed his company after you got better. You especially missed his cuddles. He was always there, consistently and constantly. It made you feel so loved and appreciated, but now that he's not around all the time, you've been feeling a bit lonely. You were a little embarrassed to ask him to cuddle though, so you really weren't sure what to do. Because of this, you sat there nervously fidgeting trying to figure out exactly what you were going to say.

Donnie noticed your discomfort and put a hand on your shoulder to try and ground you from your thoughts. What he didn't expect was this to prompt a sudden and tight hug from you immediately after.

"Is everything alright?" He was a little worried now.

"Yes I just want a hug," you squeaked.

"Oh," he chuckled, "alright."

He embraced you and pulled you closer. He smiled to himself about how cute you were.

Mikey:

Oh precious boy has attachment issues.

You tell him you can't come by cuz your sick, bro is packing an overnight pack and everything.

Dude will literally camp out at your place until your better.

He doesn't really know much about taking care of someone when there sick and he didn't really think about it.

But when you ask him for something he'll get it. When you go to do something he'll do it.

Legit just wants you to spend time getting better and that's it.

Be prepared for lots of movie nights.

Dude loves horror so if you don't you better tell him.

Honestly horror isn't even that bad with him though cuz he is talking the whole time.

Watching any movie with Mikey is honestly the best.

He says the most out of pocket stuff and his reactions are so over the top, it's usually more entertaining than the movie itself.

When you do get better and start coming by the lair again you can't shake the feeling of wanting to be near him.

One thing about your relationship with Mikey is that physical touch was a big love language. That and quality time. When you were sick Mikey slept over every night and it was great. Now that you were better you both agreed he should probably move back in at the lair.

You were kicking yourself for that now. Everytime you've visited the lair after you just wanted some alone time with Mikey but his family is always doing something and when they weren't he'd be to dense to pick up on your hints. Gosh he's such a an idiot sometimes. Unfortunately you love idiots so these are the cards you delt yourself.

Then an idea hit you. If you can't get some time when you go to him, why not get him to come to you! So you called Mikey about maybe having a movie night at your place that night. Unsurprisingly he said yes, quite enthusiastically.

With the plan set in place you cleaned up your room a bit making sure to throw away any loose trash and vacuum. Was your room a mess when he slept over? Yes. But, for one, you were sick and two, Mikey was staying over. He wasn't exactly the picture of cleanly habits. Realistically you knew he wouldn't care whether it was messy or not but you wanted to relax with him. You couldn't relax in a messy room. After you were finished it was only a matter of time before Mikey swung by.

"Guess whoo!!" Mikey sung from your open window.

"Hmmmmm. A particularly intelligible pigeon?" You answered not turning around from your closet.

You had been looking for your extra blankets for you both to use while you snuggled.

"Hahaha," he answered sarcastically stepping into your room, "Now the real question is what do we wanna watch? I got Slasher and Friday the Thirteenth and Chuckie OR we could do a trilogy!"

When you turned around you noticed he had brought his entire case of movies with him even though he was only gonna be there for the night.

"Let's stick with a single, stand alone movie yeah?" You told him sweetly as you lazily adjusted the blankets on your bed.

"WHAT! You only want to watch ONE movie!?"

"Mikey, we'll only have time for one movie!" you laughed.

"You said movie night!" He told you clearly distressed.

"You normally only watch ONE movie at a movie night!" You informed him, unable to quell your chortling.

"WHA- BUT-" He looked at his box of movies.

How was he only supposed to pick one!? Once you were able to calm down you saw him looking over his movie crate concerned.

"Mikey, just one nice tonight doesn't mean no more movies ever. We can watch one tonight and another a different night. We could even have a marathon at some point."

"You promise?"

"I promise," you grinned at him.

And with that Mikey grabbed a movie and started it up. He had gotten comfortable on the bed before you could even get on. When you did join him he nudged a big bad of potato chips your way, you both would be sharing. As the movie continued you slowly moved closer to him until you were practically on top of him. By the end of it you weren't even facing the movie, opting to nuzzle into his chest.

Mikey if course didn't notice, too invested in the film in front of him. When the movie ended however he noticed he was unable to move how he wanted. Only then realizing that you were completely cuddled into him. He flushed and stuttered, oh how he wishes he knew when this happened. He wasn't sure if you were awake or not though until you told him to put in another movie.

"I-I-I thought you said only one?" His voice wiggly.

"I think we can break that rule once in a while."

With that Mikey popped in another movie, this time one that wasn't particularly his favorite. This way he could focus on returning your affections.

- Although he totally uses them like pet names and uses them to flirt.
