my understanding is that, in the US, a legal change of state isn’t so much a THING YOU DO as a list of little things you do to prove that you’re actually living in your new state so your old one doesn’t tax you. So the most valid reason you have for changing your license is because PA requires their state license for the mandatory car registration. The less pressing reason is that if you continue to hold a license for your old state, that state could be like ½

I’m currently earning income in Massachusetts, my permanent residence is Connecticut, and my state of residence post-May is ????? so my taxes next year are going to be fun. I saw online you do have to submit taxes for multiple states if you live there part of the year, so. yay.

Makes You Miss Me by Sam Hunt came up. Which, you know, ow. What the hell, let’s go with Remy/Pietro purely for the line “The only reason that you’re good at goodbye is/Every boy you ever met, was too easy to forget”

“And here we all thought you’d done disappeared.”

Pietro woke up feeling like he’d slammed into a Kree ship. Everything, even his eyebrows, hurt. He winced as he opened his eyes.Remy LeBeau did not look impressed as he stood over Pietro’s bed. Luna, beside him and arms crossed over her chest, looked even less so.

“I thought you were off on your little thief island,” Pietro said.

That’s what Remy had yelled at him after this last fight.

“I was until Luna had the good sense they never gave you to call me. What the hell were you thinking?”

“I had a job to do,” Pietro said.

Luna huffed and Remy laughed.

“Since when are you at the beck and call of Charles Xavier? And how does your father feel about that?”

“Oh here we go,” Pietro muttered.

“So much for your supernaturally fast reflexes and thinking,” Remy said before starting a line of cursing that was a jumble of multiple languages.

Luna eyed him as she sat down at Pietro’s bedside. “He’s really pissed.”

“I can see that,” he said.

Her face softened. “He was really worried. After the break-up of the team and your tour of self-sacrifice, he was using every connection he had to track and protect you. I think he might like you or something, dad.”“

And you can’t go righting every wrong in the universe,” Remy finished his rant. His hair was a mess now and his fingertips glowed in agitation.

Luna patted the bed. “Come sit down before you blow something up.”

Nelvana has even been around longer than Wonder Woman! Nelvana is an Inuit goddess, daughter of Koliac and spiritual mother of Alpha Flight's Snowbird. She's an important part of our heritage, who was punching Nazis and protecting those in need for many decades. She was created as a tough woman in a time when pop culture was sorely lacking them.
