i've kinda alluded to this one before but the line between non-humanity and gender/gender expression is really fuckin blurry. like it's less "oh yeah i've never really felt human" (though that is true to some extent) and more "yeah idfk but i would be happier if i looked like a werewolf or a dragon or something you know?"

but then i also never really felt like a girl either i just felt like Not Boy, but i'm much surer about that one. like i'm definitely some manner of girl-adjacent thing

and the thing i think is species dysphoria feels kinda the same as how gender dysphoria does? so who knows what's happening there

and this isn't even getting into my feelings about how loosely my gender is coded anyway
