I've just seen the cannibal anon ask and well I'm gonna admit I've had the same idea for sage akxbskxn

@angry-trashcan and I have been talking about househusband sage and how he'd watch true crime and get ideas - leading to sage lecter and how he'd deal with people he doesn't like

somehow now it also keeps coming up aksnsnsns with Twi and sky as well we've dubbed them cannibros

Is everyone just now coming to the conclusion that Sage will just eat someone? Bc like...I can see it. I mean, I've talked about him biting for heaven knows how long. But like, this would have to be at the very end of his tether. Like Reader is not only ignoring his advances, but straight up rejecting them, is brazenly waving other relationships in his face, just overall pushing him. Maybe they're threatening to walk away from the chain. Maybe it was a failed escape attempt (OKAY PLEASE CAN WE TALK ABOUT AN ATTEMPTED ESCAPE WITH THE CHAIN?!? PLEASSE) . But it would need something to just make all of them just...Snap. Bc I can't imagine the rest of chain would let a cannibal near their darling without agreeing it was the only way to keep everyone away from them.

And I get Twi. Sage and Fierce for sure. Maybe even Wild, perhaps Four.

But SKY?! I'm not saying no, but how did we arrive at Sky being a cannibal before Fierce?

The other resistance members and vortigaunts are talking amongst themselves debating on how to approach Gordon aksksk

They send someone to try and talk him into continuing the mission but as soon as they approach his kids just start hissing and he asks them what's the magic words as a joke (i like to think the resistance knows at least some asl)

It's the only reason how he gets a full nights rest because no one wants to fuck with the bug dad

How often is there a “Glockstein has escaped!” incident?

glockstein is pretty chill (and timid). the MOST he will do to truly escape is teleport out to eat weird bugs. he will also escape to hide out in Gordons or Barney's pockets-- his own little adventures

barney is Dad. he goes wherever he goes, unless he's hungry, then all bets are off

if glock is gone, barney and gordon just check w each other because usually hes warped to one of them

Surprisingly nothing that isn’t like, part of another word (”sunglasses” shows up) in chapter 21, so I dove into the giant doc of “these chunks will be included eventually” doc and the first result was.....well, at least not spoilery in the slightest.

59 - both my gf for my gf I would never have met her if I didn't write so I'm vv happy she does know. <3 some friends also know, but I nearly died when my friends found out so no they would've never been told. basically I was screen sharing to plan a group trip and had my wips open in a different tab under a bad name so I had to do damage control because they assumed it was something very different ajajjsjsjs. and one made a Tumblr exclusively to fuck with me, Hi @hazel1-2 !!

43 - both really, I like some whump but there are characters and themes I'll draw the line at like with sky and cal who are both quite similar in personality to me - cal literally just having my personality atp for how I write him. while some themes hit to close and are actually quite painful to try and write </3

Oh, and this may get me in some shit, but I dont really care. So, I finished Hannibal. I really enjoyed Seasons 1, 2, and most of 3. I say most, because you are not going to make me think that Will and Hannibal are going to run away and be lovers...they want to kill each other. Hannibal has stated that he's going to eat Will. YOU DONT EAT WHAT YOU LOVE.

ALSO...why the fuck did she cut her leg off?!? It's like...I feel like I wasted a lot of my time and my life when I could have just re-read the books and re-watched the movies and got my cannibal entertainment that way.

Another thing...why cant dudes just be pals, murder bros, cannibros, whatever without having romantic inclinations? I dont mind LGBT stuff in film, that's not it. It's just that is not in Lector's character. It's not in Will's character. He was married with kids. Why are you going to have Will betray his marriage for someone who wants to eat him? Akhena of course, unless it’s obvious a specific friend would be the most help. Even if she’s not the primary troll helping him with something, he’ll still often go to talk over his feelings about things.

I wanna do the ask thing but I’m falling asleep rn. So I’m gonna give you some random letters without reading what they correspond to. Have fun! S, G, I, and... K.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

I’m probably mixing up tropes, genres, and fanon here, but I’m not even sure what the common HL fandom tropes are anymore. So uhhh, found family’s always great (when the dynamics like... make sense and fit with canon). I love fics that sprinkle in little G-man sightings like the games do. Big fan of “Gordon Freeman is just a regular dude who has a shitload of trauma now” character studies. 

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I write everything in order. I probably shouldn’t, since I’ll spend days at a time thinking about chapters I haven’t gotten to yet and I probably lose stuff by just taking notes on those instead of sucking it up and writing them out of order, but that’s just how my brain works. I live in fear of writing the end of something and then never getting around to writing the beginning, or writing a beginning that forces a major rewrite of the later stuff.

I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?

Using the same descriptors and transition words over and over again and hoping nobody notices.

Honestly... not really? Aside from my obvious and occasionally borderline gratuitous inclusion of middle aged man whump, I’m pretty content with and proud of what I write. The closest thing I can think of re: guilty pleasures for reading is that I didn’t hate the DE car fic. Probably wouldn’t read it again, but it wasn’t... awful. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t worry about it.)

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Aside from occasional thoughts along the lines of “hm, what if X character died?” I think I’ve written and published my angstiest HL ideas thus far. Enjoy. (Whether or not this is my angstiest contribution to the fandom is debatable, but it’s the first one that came to mind.)
