Yesterday we went to see dock diving, we have a friend that does this... I had seen this on television years ago... of course I grabbed my camera and tried my hand at this action photography. I decided digital was the way to go so I grabbed a Canon 5D MK3, and thought a wide angle would afford me the best chance to capture focus getting both the dog, handler and even the target. It was a bright sunny day, hot and dry. This camera isn't equipped with autofocusing and eye detection... I think I did well, I am out of practice, but my hit rate was good... I will say that I may be to wide as I am cropping pretty heavily. By the way this is Ryder, and he jumped 21' and a few inches.

I don’t have “one” camera I use because I like to switch mediums between digital, small format film, large format film, pinhole, etc etc etc

My current digital is an old as hell Canon Rebel T6i and I need to upgrade it very badly, but I have no money. I miss being in college and having access to really cool cameras

Hehe sammme, I made a pinhole camera out of an old tin once, the pic came out so bad 😂 left it taped to my window for like a month! I'd love to do more on film but getting it developed here cost so much for a single roll, and I don't have time/space/money for a darkroom 😮‍💨 loved the one we had access to in college.. same with instant, ancient ass Polaroid sitting there but like, £30 for 10 photos?! Fuckkkkk offffffff 😂😂

Wooo Canon is best! 🤭 nothing wrong with the Rebel series either, solid cameras. I got lucky and picked up a cheap 5d mk3 10 years back, but I find myself using the lil lumix I picked up to take to Venice, its a hell of a lot lighter 😅

Emerge par Mark George Via Flickr : This was another bitterly cold night shoot from the deepest darkest depths of Shaugh Tunnel and, because I was on my own, I decided to illuminate the scene in sections. By doing this, it allowed me to control the light painting process and avoid burning out detail. Considering I’d never used this lighting system before, the outcome was reasonably successful... but there's always room for improvement!
