Die Einstellungen habe ich zu einer Gesamtliste zusammengestellt. Sie kann als Orientierung und Anregung dienen. Um auch für starke Kurven geeignet zu sein, hat dieses Setup auch leichte Driftakzente, aber die Grip Fähigkeit dominiert hier. Das Feintuning ist aber sicherlich sehr variabel. Den Subaru BRZ kann man freilich auch auf "Drift" optimieren. Sicherlich ist er ein guter und schicker Einstiegswagen.

[Übrigens: in meinem Beitrag vom 10.07.2024 habe ich eine Tabelle mit meinen Car Setups gezeigt. Die Werte habe ich aber am 12.07.2024 z.T. verändert, weiter überarbeitet und versuchsweise etwas optimiert]

Mein Forschungsinteresse

Beiträge zur Geschichte des Computerspiels am Beispiel der seit 1995 bestehenden umfangreichen Rennspielserie "Need For Speed". Im Fokus: Wandel der Bildästhetik, Gamenarration, Balancing, Innovation uvm.

Von 2018-2021 habe ich selbst ein paar Computerspiele entwickelt (3D Welten mit bescheidenen Rollenspielelementen). Verwendung: Unity Game Engine, C# Programmierung, Blender 3D. Dies hat mir einen praxisrelevanten Einblick in die Arbeit der Gameentwickler gegeben und meine Analysekriterien entsprechend erweitert.

Im Moment hole ich, nach ca. 10 Jahren Need For Speed "Pause" (zuletzt: NFS Rivals), einige mir noch unbekannter Titel mit Test und Rezensionen nach. Auf der Agenda stehen, wenn mir der Abschluß dieses Games (NFS Deluxe Edition 2015; derzeit 77%) gelingt, NFS Payback und NFS Heat als nahezu letzte mir unbekannte Serientitel noch bevor (bereits über Steam installiert). NFS Unbound (EA 2022) hatte ich vor einigen Wochen bereits getestet und diverse Beiträge in meinen Social Media Kanälen hochgeladen.

[NFS World wäre mir auch noch unbekannt, dieses Game kann ich aber zu Testzwecken leider nicht mehr erwerben.]

I mentioned this in the gc last night but please imagine financially literate Tommy.

Man absolutely has both a 401k and a Roth IRA, he bought his house during the housing market crash in '08 so he has a really good mortgage on it. He has a budget book and can write checks and has all of his tax returns from when he first started filing taxes in a neat little binder. He has investments in stocks.

He even does his own taxes. His tax accountant cousin, who didn't want to deal with MORE stress during tax season, taught Tommy how to do his own taxes years ago and Tommy has been doing them himself ever since.

Once he and Buck get back together, Tommy takes a look at Buck's finances and immediately goes "...sweetheart, no. You need a budget. And to work on that impulse buying." (Me too Buck)

He even offers to do Buck's taxes, complete with his reading glasses, and Buck immediately has to kiss him about it. And maybe other things too.

According to AutoRacer.it, the engineers have solved the puzzle of the SF-25 that observers began with the Bahrain tests. From what we understand, the problem has nothing to do with the new design of the front pull rod suspension, nor with aerodynamics in the strict sense since it is respecting the stability requirements.

The extra plank wear is not a cause but a consequence. The rear end structure does not allow for the expected stiffness, which forces the height to be increased in parc fermé to protect oneself with 100kg on board . The main culprit is the rear suspension, homologated in July last year, together with the new gearbox.

The Haas shares the mechanical parts and has worked well after the Australian disaster, however it does not have the performance load platform or the sophisticated aerodynamics of the Ferrari.

In other words the SF-25 struggles with excessive softness that is compromising its operability. It seems like something already seen, for example, on the old Mercedes last year. The Red in the right conditions can generate much more downforce than the previous car, the sprint showed what the car could do with 35kg of fuel. Qualifying after three hours has once again erased expectations, less downforce in the corners and greater instability of the rear.

Loic Serra arrived in October so relatively late on the 677 project. The French TD has returned to Maranello and is intervening to correct its effectiveness and reliability but clearly it is premature to formulate a solution or a timetable. The problem is not easy to solve, the engineers are also working on some areas of update that should be introduced new parts from Bahrain.

Hi Luci, how are you? I wanted to get your opinion on something that’s been on my mind. I’m turning to you because I know you’re objective when it comes to Ferrari.

Given the issues Hamilton is facing with the car and the fact that he hasn’t adapted as many expected by now, do you think the team might shift their setup approach to better suit Lewis?

Also, considering the current state of the championship, do you think Ferrari has a chance to bounce back? Right now, it seems like they’re the third or even fourth fastest car on the grid.

I'm okay, not great considering how things are going this weekend.

Honestly, I think Lewis has adapted. The car just isn't that good. Like yes there have been some gaps to Charles, but I think he's adapted to what he's been given. It's really hard to find the feeling to be competitive in this car and he has found that feeling a few times, it's just such a narrow window and not a very adaptable base. So, not to blame the car but yes also I am blaming the car at this point. I think it's pretty clear.

I mean, really depends on what you mean by bounce back here? Do I think that things will improve? Yes. I think that some upgrades will surely put us higher up the order. If you are asking about championship odds right now, unless the next upgrade package puts us 0.5s ahead of the field for the rest of the year I don't see how that would be possible.
