Luka

Despite being a father figure to MC for a decade now, they’re still caught off guard by the request. Somehow, he still feels undeserving of such a great honour. Once MC has reassured him that they indeed want him to do it, then he’ll gratefully accept.

He’s touched by the request but also feeling wistful at the same time. He knows that he’s not good enough to replace Viktor — and he’s certainly not as good of a dancer as his big brother, but he’ll make sure to give it his all, to make it special and memorable.

Pavel

Honestly, he’s really surprised and taken aback. Him before Luka, who has been raising MC for ten years? He’ll probably make sure whether MC is sure and even suggest Luka to do the honour instead.

But after MC reassures him, then he’ll accept, albeit with a feeling of guilt. A small voice in his heart tells him he doesn’t deserve this, considering Viktor’s last wish was for MC to be taken care of by Luka instead of him and it was clear that Viktor didn’t consider him to be a good father figure for MC.

Yvette

Her?! Are you sure MC? Yvette is fully aware that she is probably the most undeserving person to have that honour in the whole city. Hell, even Sebastian (the butler) and Ivan and Boris deserve it more than her considering they’ve spent more time with MC growing up than she ever did.

She’ll probably try to talk MC out of it, but if MC still insists… Then she’ll guiltily and hesitantly accept. But over time, she’ll come to fully appreciate the gesture and she feels hopeful… She’ll see this is an opening or maybe some kind of forgiveness from MC.

Maybe it’s not too late for her to have a better relationship with her child in the future and this time, she’ll make sure to be active in MC’s and her grandkids lives, swearing to never make the same mistake she did ever again.

Viktor

Immediately becomes emotional. His eyes are probably tearing up as he immediately accepts. MC grows up so fast… Has it really been more than twenty tears since he first held MC in his arms? It certainly doesn’t feel that way to him.

And yet, here’s his precious child asking him to do one of the greatest honours there is for a parent. As he dances with MC, he finally fully accepts that his child is now an adult and no longer a little kid.

He’s proud of them and the person they’ve grown to be and he can’t wait to be the best grandpa ever to MC’s kids.

Cara

Wait, are you serious MC? If so, then she’ll gladly accept. She’s definitely touched and honoured for the opportunity and the fact that MC considers her a mother figure in their life.

But she’s usually not a sappy person, unlike someone (*cough* Viktor *cough*), so she’ll cover it with her usual confident and easy-going grins. And yes, she does know a good deal of great moves and she’ll be more than happy to show them to MC to inspire them. Overall, she’ll just keep up her energetic and upbeat spirit.

Oohh, maybe when Ash was around 3rd or 4th grade, but at that time, she thought it was just a classic case of puppy love. Although, she did think Ash and MC together was so adorable and she was happy that her Ash could find someone they could bond with. It's sad she didn't get to see Ash and MC getting together (for Ash-mancing MC) 😔 She would've squealed from happiness.

If they do manage to follow MC out, you can guarantee they've forgotten their keys, MC will have to let them back into the house (they are very sheepish and throw in an extra kiss for good measure).

K. Valiev; Would catch MC before they leave and press a gentle kiss to their forehead, light-heartedly chiding them about forgetting. Over the next couple of days they might teasingly remind MC, you know, 'just in case'.

A. Caras; Probably wouldn't notice, consciously, but they know all day that just something is off, and they head to work feeling odd. When they both get home in the evening, and they see MC, it will finally click, and they will grumble quietly about a 'ruined day' over something 'so stupid'. You find them waiting at the door for their kiss for the next few days.

T. Bellefleur; They're surprised by how much it bothers them, once they notice. They don't mention it all day, until you're both done for the evening, where they casually bring up that they missed your 'silly' routine and that you 'better not forget it again'. There is an odd level of (mostly concealed) anxiety to the jab, and they on and off watch you the next few times you leave, just to make sure you're honouring your word.

M. Serrel; They reel you back in, pulling you close, and refuse to let you go until you've fulfilled the 'kiss quota' (they never give you a number, so you just pepper their face until they giggle and push you out the door, which usually works). They've not made you late, yet, but they get damn close sometimes, you wonder if they're doing it on purpose or if lady luck just loves them.

O Panchito ser orgulhoso e até meio metido a besta é uma das melhores coisas que eu descobri lendo as primeiras tirinhas oficiais dele. Já ouvi gente dizendo que não gosta dessas características sendo atribuídas ao Panchito mas >EU< acho o máximo na verdade. Porque pensa assim, o Donald é um babaca, o Zé Carioca também é um babaca, então É CLARO que o Panchito também tem que ser meio babaca pra se encaixar nesse grupo de amigos! Acho que por isso também eu curto a caracterização do Panchito em DT17. Porque, apesar de ser uma modernização do personagem, trouxe de volta alguns defeitos do Panchito que, sinceramente, deixaram ele mais interessante!

I can't believe I haven't brought it up before but I'm imagining Pip visiting San Francisco to stay with her cousin Enid who her parents inexplicably think looks just like her and them sharing all their adventures and Enid making plans to introduce Pip and Wednesday because she knows they'd get on really well

One night, Enid sees the pictures of Cara that Pip carries at all times and as Pip tries to lie and claim she forgot she had that, Enid just says it's okay and takes out the picture of Wednesday she keeps with her at all times

The two then spend the rest of the night talking about their respective girlfriends and gushing about how much they love them

A pretty brunette investigator with a pretty blonde werewolf ahhhh!!! Also I LOVE the idea of Pippa and Enid carrying pictures of their girlfriends in their wallets. But it’s not just one picture it’s a BUNCH! They’d talk about all their adventures together! I love how they also mirror each other in a way where Pippa drags Cara into all of her investigations while Enid is dragged into some by Wednesday lmaoo.

Cara and Wednesday would share their stories too on their investigation and in a way are slightly jealous that their girlfriends are the completely opposite of Wednesday would love to go on investigations with Pippa while Enid would LOVE to go clubbing with Cara.

i have a jones for sweetheart!george these days. specifically anything from their 'getting back together' period OR their early parenting adventures. first morning after they've hooked back up for good?? giant george figuring out how to bundle tiny cara (or connor since i forget which one comes first) into a baby wrap??

i kinda wanna write the first idea as a fic so let's talk about george being confused as hell about a baby wrap when connor is born lol. he can't get the hang of it during the prenatal classes at all, but he brushes it off, because, like, he has loads of time to figure it out before the baby gets here, yeah? but time passes quickly, and from like maybe a month before your due date he's properly in panic mode about learning how to do it right - youtube videos, baby books, bugging the shit out of matty because he keeps asking if he can practice on literal newborn dylan lol (the answer is no, but he can watch matty put her in the baby wrap if he wants. he does). and when you snap (hormones) and question WHY he's so bloody obsessed with it, george goes all :( like "i just want to be able to carry my baby safely", and you feel really bad but he knows it's the hormones talking and not you lmao. he never does properly get the hang of it, but that's alright; he just carries connor (and cara) for as long as they need him to, no complaints about his arms hurting or not being able to get on with things, he just does what he can for his babies. and then, ironically, he finally figures the baby wrap out when his niece phoebe is born, bless him. but yeah! v cute. he's so exasperated lol <3
