his current name (which is not yet set in stone) is Belisarius Vincent Chlorine Revolution (she/he/they pronouns)
this project has taken me 3 days, which is way less time than most of my even simpler cardboard sculptures, however i think my speedy construction is probably due to the fact that i've been snowed in for like half a week or so and have had little else to do. so i've mostly just been doing this
the og goal was to build up a cardboard base and then paper maché on top of it to then paint, but now that i'm done with the cardboard and it's the best cardboard sculpture i've ever done i am scared to ruin it or that the finished product won't live up to my expectations. so. uh. im gonna give it some time and maybe i'll do that at a later date but i might also just not. who knows 👍
oh and reblog are, as always, greatly appreciated. i would like attention for the thing i made pretty please

This was a really fun project, I just wished I had some extra time to correct the ears so the sunnies can sit right in.
I learnt a lot of new things and might make a second attempt in the future with less excessive cardboard to punch through. 🤣
It was the first time I tried to style hair with cardboard. So a huge shoutout to @rachaelstott because your hair tutorial and work on Capaldi's DW comics helped me a lot. 🤌✨✨
(Might try to do more detailed photos as requests but I have to work with what I got. 🤌)
This my shark i made from cardboard. He's name is Oscypek (a smoked type of cheese made of salted sheep milk witch is popular in my country especially in moutains). I love him so much and i made him with lemon shark in mind. It's not 100% lemon shark but it has little similarities.
I finished off my sculpture piece by adding some smaller details to allude more to adult themes.
I cut out alcohol logos and stuck them onto the carrier to give the effect that it’s purpose is to carry beers, rather than a milk case.
Where the spillage is, I placed broken glass bottles around. To make it appear as if the smashed baby bottle left harsh shards, rather than something typically soft, like plastic.
I made this really cool whale shark sculpture! It was super fun and pretty easy. Since moving, we have had SO MUCH CARDBOARD. I have been finding creative ways of using it in art projects instead of just throwing it away. Here is one of them! I love it.
Here is a summary of what I did
Cut out a base shape in cardboard, added spines and filled gaps with tape, completely covered it in paper mache then a layer of gesso. I painted a base coat of acrylic paint then white spots and then mod podge at the very end. Screwed in little screws with hooks and attached a wire to hang on the back.
I spent the last week building a paw patrol lookout tower* and then baking a three-tier chocolate fudge cake for it to sit on. Happy 4th birthday to baban! 🙌
*(cardboard, card, papier mache, acrylic paints, gift wrap inner tube, plastic mesh for the fence, bbq skewers, pva and superglue. Oh and pebbles to weight the bottom so it didn't fall over.)
