A little Tallulah! I love human designs for the eggs but I can only ever imagine them as eggs in my own head. But with Tallulah she uses a flute so unless I’m thinking with just silly minecraft magic she has to have a mouth somehow- so she has a beak! From being taken care of by Phil she becomes pretty birds as well giving her two feathery tails

i've been thinking about tallulah's situation; being cared for by her grandparents, uncles, and aunties, everyone but her "actual" parent. everyone assumes her grandpa is her dad because he's the only one around. most people refer to her as philza's daughter

yet, while she spends most days with philza, there are days when she's passed from guardian to guardian. on those days she's not sure who'll be the one to feed her, to protect her, to sing her to sleep. and, y'know, that isn't an uncommon or outlandish experience for children of busy or erratic parents. it was mine. i'm sure many viewers see themself in her whenever she thanks her uncles for food or asks about her father; clearly forever did, in his stream today.

the thing is, i rarely see a nomadic childhood like hers depicted as it is on the QSMP -- as warm, loving, and gladly given to tallulah by the other parents. it is so heartwarming to see the love that everyone on the island has for tallulah. people choose to care for her even if it's an extra responsibility because they love her. QSMP shows us how a true community is there for the children who need them, without pause and regardless of filiation. these cubitos love all the eggs, not only their own. it's beautiful.

Tubbo: I’m won't hold it against you either. 

Philza: It’s just a case of like they want us to fight, fuck it we’ll fight. Either way, you and I both want the eggs to survive and we’re not going to be able to choose one to die. 

Tubbo: Yeah and we’re both- Honestly, we’re also both looking out for the same two eggs which is crazy. This is crazy. 

Philza: Aww you mean it. 

Tubbo: Yeah of course! They’re my god children! What the hell? 

Philza: Aww okay. Okay. I mean I wasn’t- Well with everything that happened Toby, I wasn’t sure if you remembered. 

Tubbo: No of course! Of course I remembered! No since the start, this is the- this is the entire reason that I’ve been trying to win this event. 

Philza: Thank you king. 

Tubbo: Especially when I found out we might be the cursed team. It’s just for Chayanne and Tallulah.

Phil: I know from my sister, she has chronic pain. But I don't see it as that severe, if that makes sense? Like, my sister has fibromyalgia, right, so I know all about chronic pain and like, how it can like, vary and how bad it can be, how it's like completely like, dishabilitating, you can't fckin' move some days, and if you go outside and do anything sort of just like, "normal" you can be out of commission for like, weeks.

Phil: So I don't really consider it as that bad, I'm trying to equate it more towards like, "Oh, I really hurt myself, and now it hurts a bit, and it's going to get better," kind of, you know. That's why I didn't want to make that kind of direct comparison. But... yeah, I can see why you would think it would be just like that though, yeah. But it's not that severe– in my head, anyways, I don't consider it as severe as actual chronic pain.

I feel like last night's stream hit a lot harder because Phil is usually so disconnected from the lore

Seeing him actually engage is important

That shake in his voice, his lowered tone, even how he's sitting on his webcam, it's so different and it makes everything feel so much more

q!Phil has never really reacted to something happening on the island. Bad things happen and he shrugs and walks away. He gets angry with the code and the feds but thats as far as it goes

Seeing him actually get upset, walk around his home and look for his kids so lost and confused hits hard when he usually doesn't care

And his conversation with Forever too, he lowers his shaking voice because he cares, genuinely. I half expected him to go "you're acting fucking weird, bye" but he didn't and it hurt

He was so quiet and sad the whole stream
