I feel like the George and Max beef is so funny because I don't think either of them are that wrong. George being overly picky about unsafe moves on course is totally normal. Max regularly publicly expresses his displeasure when other drivers do something that puts him at a disadvantage or a loss. George never takes any slander on his name. Max refuses to let somebody else have the last word. Lando thinks everything is funny. Fernando talks just to talk. Max and George are both bitchy and dramatic. Is there an actual issue here? Definitely. Is George a little two faced and Max somebody who thinks rules don't always apply to him? By circumstance, probably. Is it kind of tasteless to air your dirty laundry out like that with somebody? For sure. But does it really call for cancelling one driver or another? Not at all no, they really just both like being right.

Part two of my drivers/junior drivers of a team having things in common series:

Red Bull/Racing bulls

Family picture!! Now, to be a red bull (junior) driver you must be one of two things; either you must have blonde hair or dark hair. (I know this just sounds really basic but trust me on this one)

Group 1: the blondes

From top to bottom, left to right: Max Verstappen, Tim Tramnitz (F3), Sebastian Vettel, the twins Oliver Goethe (F2) and Liam Lawson, Emely de Heus (F1academy 2024), Chloe Chambers (F1academy 2025), and Pierre Gasly.

Commonly paired with a dark-haired counterpart as their teammate, and always serving cunt these are the blonde red bull drivers. I cannot be the only one who noticed that Tim and Liam look like they could be family, right? Even matching backwards hat is giving brothers.

Two of these blondes are both Dutch icons (I might be a bit biased🧡🌊🇳🇱🦁🚲💪) always honest, slaying and staying unbothered . If you weren’t aware I’m of course talking about Max and Emely.

Idk if Chloe and Emely’s hair is naturally blonde or not but idc🤷‍♀️

Group 2: the dark-haired

From top to bottom, left to right: Pepe Martí and Isack Hadjar (F2 2024), Arvid Lindblad (F3 2024), Mark Webber, Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, Nikola Tsolov (F3), Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, Hamda and Amna Al Quibaisi (F1academy 2024).

These dark-haired icons are lightly brushed by melancholy, have a big bomboclatt and are usually drawn to a cunty blonde by an unknown force. It’s so iconic that one pairing in the foto are literal family, and that an other driver on this fotogrid looks like he could be their sibling imo; I’m obviously talking about the Al Quibaisi sisters and Arvid.

These baddies have a rep of getting the short end of the stick, some say this is because they are not blonde and white, I’ll leave that up to you to decide for yourselves.

Monaco: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Sergio Perez x PregnantWife! Reader

Plot: Sergio Perez gets into a nasty crash in Monaco, where his wife attends to support despite being uncomfortably pregnant. However, with the rainy weather conditions Monaco GP is looking more dangerous than ever!

A/N: this is a little shorter as I struggle to right for Sergio more than others!

This year, you hadn’t really been to many races as you’d got pregnant during the winter break. You’d spent Christmas avoiding people asking why you weren’t drinking before letting everyone know after the first doctors appointment you had.

By the time the Monaco Grand Prix rolled around you were coming up to around 7months of your pregnancy and boy could you tell.

However, because of what Monaco was Sergio had asked you to come considering that’s where you both resided now that he was in Red Bull.

You agreed to come as long as the days weren’t too strenuous on you, and that you always had a seat available as it was hard carrying another human inside of you.

When you arrived at the garage you’d never had so many compliments from well pretty much everyone. Everyone in Alpine had congratulated you, as it was Sergios old team and there were people there that still held a lot of love for the both of you.

When you came to Red Bull Max and Kelly couldn’t help but praise your looks and how you were glowing. And it went on like that for most of the day, people complimented how you looked and it made you feel better about any insecurities you held.

The only thing making you anxious now was the race itself.

You of course loved to support Sergio in what he did but you couldn’t deny that your husband driving round tricky tracks at over 200mph scared the living daylights out of you.

And Monaco, we’ll it was one of the worst. It’s the tightest street circuit ever, and you have to be very precise when it comes to overtaking and gaining places.

Through the whole weekend it had stayed relatively nice, when it came to the weather and the vibes. Everyone was cheerful and excited about the race at one of the most iconic tracks in motorsport. After some great times tested in all the free practices and getting into Q3 in Qually, Sergio was in P8 having locked up on his flying lap.

You were currently in the garage sat watching the race with the mechanics next to you.

“It’s going to be hard for them to get ahead of both the Ferraris and the McLaren” you say to the mechanic next to you. Seeing Charles in Pole, Lando in P2 and and Carlos in P3, Max in P4 and Sergio behind 2 Mercedes, and an Aston Martin.

You watch the lights turn off once all five had lit up, and listen to Cofty commentating. You watch as Charles manages to keep the lead, Lando falling in nicely behind him while Carlos managed to defend from Max quiet nicely.

Sergio had an amazing start, meaning that he moved up past George in the Mercedes, sitting comfortably in P7. Over the radio all the drivers were let known it was going to start raining within the next 3 laps, most of the drivers pitted.

Max pit for Red Bull first while Sergio stayed out moving up to P2 with Lewis now in the lead. Ferrari having made a double Pit stop worried about their drivers with the oncoming rain.

The rain started to come down heavily, you watched on from your husbands car camera seeing how low the visibility was.

You saw his mechanics preparing to have him come in and change to intermediates. You watch on seeing him struggling for grip until he slides forward having something jolt him from behind.

His car, flips as the Aston that bumped his rear also lost grip forcing itself around his car. They are both sent into the barriers both cars getting a massive shunt.

There’s debris everywhere and his car is no-longer race worthy.

Your mind goes haywire and your hand reaches up to your mouth to cover it as it opens in shock. Tears built in your eyes as you watch no movement from both cars.

“Oh my god!” You breathe, one hand still covering your mouth the other resting on your stomach.

What if this was it? You questioned to yourself.

Would your husband never be able to meet his child? You wondered watching as the medic car is released and sent to go help Sergio and Lance.

Some of the social media girls in the garage come up to you, holding a hand out to you to grip in shock. One of them is whispering that he’ll be okay but you are only listening to Crofty and his soft commentating about the incident.

Mechanics soon come up to you realising what has happened trying to block your view and make you take a seat as they can see you are getting breathless.

Red Bull was like one big family, they’d know you since before Sergio had joined as you were good childhood friends with Kelly, so they all felt a high level of protectiveness over you.

You were the sweetest person in the Red Bull family, always bringing them health boxes, full of delicious yet healthy snacks, and then on Sundays coming by with post race goodies that they could class as part of their cheat day, and you were always willing to listen to each and every one of them.

“No no no” you cry more tears spilling as neither driver continues to communicate or make movements.

Some more of the mechanics rushed over to you, pulling you away from the cameras and the screen. Kelly follows holding your hand in a comforting manor. They sit you down in Sergio’s drivers room. The TV in there is on and playing the crash and Kelly goes to turn it off but you stop her before you can.

“No I have to know!” You say watching on as you see the red flag given, all the drivers coming into the pits.

Lance manages to pull himself out and is able to communicate back to the Aston Martin team who all cheer as he is presumed okay, where he pulled himself out and is walking.

He walks straight over to Sergio, there’s some kind of communication which makes you sigh in relief that your husband is able to talk. Nods of heads show that they’ve agreed on something and Lance helps as Sergio pulls himself up on out the car.

You sigh in relief seeing that he was able to get himself out the bashed up car wreck. He wobbled around before collapsing to the ground which only had your heart rate spiking even more.

Lance called the medics over, pointing for Sergio to be helped into the van first. A stretcher was brought out from the back. More tears falls from your eyes, however your husband knew what you’d be looking like right now.

And frankly he’d never liked seeing you cry.

So he pulled himself up, and walked towards the medical van despite what the Marshalls were telling him.

He explained to them he wanted to show his wife and team he was doing okay. Lance clambers in the back after him and they are driven round the last bit of the track to where he would be taken to medical tent for evaluation.

A knock on your door sounds and in walks Christian Horner himself. You smile lightly at him but the tears only come out a little more as he looks between you and the TV.

“He’s going to be okay Y/N” he promises and you nod.

The wait for him to come back and be cleared by the medics was painful, you waited for so long it felt like hours but in reality it was only 30 minutes. There was no damage in the crash, only a mild concussion that would be okay within a few days of rest.

“Hello mi Carina” he smiled sheepishly at you.

“You had me so worried!” You cry as you pull him into a hug, he hugs you kissing all over your face before bending down to the height of your round belly.

“Im so sorry, to the both of you! I can’t imagine the stress I just put you both through!” He offers kissing your clothed stomach and rubbing it lovingly.

“I was so so scared that you’d never get to…” you stutter and choke on your words finding it hard to admit what was so worrying to you, what you’d feared for a long time now.

“Id never leave you both” he smiles standing back up to his full height and pulling you into a chaste kiss that you melt into.

“I love you so much” you sigh sinking into his hold strong hold .

“I love you too, I’ll never put you through what I did today again!” He promises holding into you tightly.

He wouldn’t admit it, but today really was a change of perspective of racing for him.

He’d never been that apprehensive getting into a car and driving it as quickly as he did, but he knew he would have a new found patience and carefulness driving the car after todays events as he too had been fearful he wouldn’t make it back to his two best girls.

Formula 1 Drivers as Supernatural Episodes

I have selected 2 episodes from the CW's hit show Supernatural for each driver in the 2024 F1 season. Enjoy!

These are episodes I feel fits a driver's personality/vibe/style/history and are meant to be complimentary. This is very vibes based XD

Presented in team order <3 (also I guess spn spoilers warning)

Charles Leclerc: Lazarus Rising x The Man Who Would Be King

Charles and the angel Castiel have a lot in common. Charles is seen as this figure that is leading Ferrari currently and into the future and his first season in Ferrari was iconic (Lazarus Rising) Dare I say some of his drives have been as insane as pulling a man out of hell. However it's been a bumpy road and the burdens of one of the most iconic teams is enough to try the patience of any man (The Man Who Would Be King) There are a lot of faith and religious parallels to be made here. If there was one driver insane enough to try to single-handedly fix heaven (Ferrari) Charles is that driver. Also you could cast him as Cas and I don't think anyone would complain. I could go on about the Charles-Cas parallels but we do have to get to the rest of the grid, so he gets two stand-out Castiel episodes.

Carlos Sainz: Trial and Error x The Devil You Know

Carlos sometimes smashes through plans like a hammer, sometimes you need schemes other times you need to throw them out the window and start punching (The Devil You Know). He's also been through the Ferrari trials which is no small feat, often requiring a lot of pressure and sacrifice (Trial and Error). I also feel like he could wrestle a hellhound and come out winning.

Lewis Hamilton: Swan Song x First Born

I felt that one of the most iconic final battles in Supernatural of Swan Song was fitting to encapsulate Lewis' many hard fought WDCs. In addition to First Born, where Dean goes to take the mantle of the mark of Cain from a man who keeps bees in his retirement (Lewis taking WDC from Seb parallels) Both massive turning points in the show and iconic, like Lewis. A lot of small plot and emotional beats in these two that really touch on some career moments.

George Russell: Defending Your Life x Girls Girls Girls

If there was any driver on the grid who would enter into a legal battle against an ancient god and win it's George Russell (Defending Your Life). Additionally George is one of the few who could pull off witchcraft with ease while looking iconic doing so (Girls, Girls, Girls) I just think George and Rowena would get along and get up to some trouble with the book of the damned.

Max Verstappen: The Executioner’s Song x In The Beginning

The parallels of young talent coming in to take down the former bearer of the mark of Cain to Max's 2021 WDC are strong. It was hard, it was messy, and it was one hell of a fight (The Executioner’s Song). Then we have more emotional nuance (In The Beginning) a guy who just likes cars and is kind of old school about them too. These episodes are nuanced and plot centric and that felt fitting. The vibes are here you have to trust me on this.

Sergio Perez: Our Father Who Aren’t in Heaven x Criss Angel is a Douchebag

Do not underestimate Checo, much like you should not underestimate an arch angel that is related to you, and yet. The parallels between Adam, the third Winchester brother, and Checo are not lost, especially in meta context (Our Father, Who Aren’t in Heaven). Then of course Checo does have a flair and charm about him, he can pull a trick or two out of a car when people least expect (Criss Angel is a Douchebag).

Fernando Alonso: Good God Y’all x Weekend at Bobby’s

Fernando is chaos, he's here to cause unapologetic trouble, if he were to be a horseman of the apocalypse he'd be War and he'd have a hell of a time (Good God Y'all). Of course if there was one driver on the grid I know could figure out how to get his soul back from a demon after selling his soul in the first place Fernando would be that driver (Weekend at Bobby's) Naturally there are many Nando and Bobby parallels.

Lance Stroll: Scoobynatural x Hibbing 911

Of all the drivers on the grid at risk of getting sucked into a children’s cartoon I feel like Lance is at the top of the list (Scoobynatural). In addition I think he would be the chill hunter just casually explaining that ghosts are real to Scooby and the gang. Lance would also reluctantly become a vampire hunter if they invaded his small community (Hibbing 911) And he very much reminds me of both Donna and Jody in various ways.

Oscar Piastri: About a Boy x Jack in the Box

I feel like Oscar would be a good witch hunter, I also think if he was hit with a de-aging spell he'd be able to handle it and not panic and figure out how to get out of that situation, worry about the soul crushing curse later (About a Boy). And of course with the way his second season in F1 has been going it very much feels like Mclaren have been holding back a young driver from reaching his potential because they are afraid of his capabilities, you could say they have been putting a nephilim in a box designed to hold back his power (Jack in the Box). Also I cannot be the only one who sees the Jack and Oscar resemblance.

Lando Norris: Swap Meet x I Know What You Did Last Summer

Tell me Lando would not somehow end up practicing black magic accidentally on purpose and somehow survive (Swap Meet). That and I think he would also really like this episode in general. I feel like the duality between Ruby and Anna presented in I know What You Did Last Summer captures a very specific vibe about Lando, is he the demon trying to trick a guy into drinking his blood? Or is he the angel that decided to become human because he was done with heaven's shit? Depends on the day honestly.

Kevin Magnussen: Rock Never Dies x Survival of the Fittest

If there was any driver on the grid that would make crashing the Impala part of the plan to take down eldritch monsters it would be Kmag (Survival of the Fittest). Rock Never Dies just fits Kevin, iconic, villainous, Lucifer comes back a second time and is ready to cause chaos. The whole vibe of this episode is insane and it fits Kevin's particular brand of heart and unique driving. He's loud, you are not going to forget he's there, you should be afraid.

Nico Hulkenberg: Shut Up Dr Phil x My Heart Will Go On

Nico just has the look of a man who would time travel to get rid of a single Celine Dion song (My Heart Will Go On). He does have a lot in common with Balthazar, fun loving but powerful and can execute a plan, he might just end up adding his own flair to it. And I think Nico's spats with others are not frequent, but when they do happen they are memorable (Shut Up Dr Phil) Plus he reminds me of these old witches who have been married a few centuries and keep the chaos alive.

Ollie Bearman: The Girl with the Dungeon and Dragons Tattoo x Reading is Fundamental

Including Ollie in the Haas section since he's raced for them the most this year on the F1 grid. But his story starts as the young talent called at the last minute to solve a huge problem, driving a Ferrari in Jeddah with an hour of practice. I'd say that's similar to being suddenly asked to single-handedly go against some of the most dangerous monsters in the world with no training in monster fighting (The Girl with the Dungeon and Dragons Tattoo) but also being surprisingly good at it. Then we have another team needing young talent to step up and drive their car when things were down, you could say Ollie is in advanced placement in terms of being an F1 rookie now (Reading is Fundamental) I think the Ollie Kevin Tran comparisons are strong. Overall these two episodes of young talent needed at the last minute to save the day really sum up Ollie's 2024 F1 experience.

Yuki Tsunoda: The Gamblers x A Little Slice of Kevin

Sometimes luck is on Yuki's side, and often times it feels like it's not. But then again he's been fighting and sticking around longer than most other drivers in the face of more bad luck than one man should deal with, so perhaps he's won against an old roman god for a bit of luck, who's to say (The Gamblers). Then we get to the duality in A Little Slice of Kevin, young talent being used as a pawn in the larger scheme of Red Bull, more likely than you'd think. Is he escaping purgatory or being captured by demons? Probably both.

Daniel Ricciardo: Frontierland x Blood Brother

I know one thing about Danny, he would time travel back to the wild west to hunt down a rare monster no questions asked. He would bring his own cowboy hat as well (Frontierland). Danny also has that quality of guy who doesn't ask for much, so when he asks for a favor you gotta help. He also does have similar vibes to Benny, don't tell me he wouldn't make a great southern vampire (Blood Brother).

Liam Lawson: War of the Worlds x Bad Day at Black Rock

Similar to Yuki, Liam's luck is a tricky thing. He was in a will he won't he situation at Red Bull for so long. If he had a rabbit's foot he kept losing and picking up again I wouldn't be surprised (Bad Day at Black Rock). I think the episode really captures that kind of swinging pendulum of luck his junior career has seen. Then of course now he's been called to the seat he's caught up in a pretty intense battle at the end of the season, with a lot of demands being made on top of the constant turmoil within the team. Imagine Lucifer is telling you not to do a spell another powerful arch angel is commanding you to do, I feel like that about sums up how he's been thrown into F1 (War of the Worlds).

Alex Albon: Heart x It’s A Terrible Life

Alex was a rookie that went under the radar, at first, but something bigger was brewing in the background and then boom he was suddenly at the center of the driver market and was thrown into the spotlight. A feeling reflected in It's A Terrible Life. Alex is also the type of try to help someone against all odds, even when they seem impossible (Heart). Also I am not denying I am possibly calling him a werewolf fucker, here but tell me I'm wrong.

Logan Sargeant: Jump the Shark x Dog Dean Afternoon

Logan would do well being able to communicate with a dog and would adapt well to taking on dog-like traits to solve a case (Dog Dean Afternoon) I don't even think he'd question it. Forgotten, overlooked, massively unlucky I don't think there is a better Supernatural parallel for Logan than season 4 Adam (Jump the Shark). He was a great guy who got caught in the middle of something dangerous and paid the price.

Franco Colapinto: Red Sky at Morning x Sharp Teeth

Franco is one of the guys who I just think would be able to make it work for him if he were accidentally turned into a werewolf. He'd take a few months off, come back and be totally fine (Sharp Teeth). I cannot fully explain but Franco does give me Bella vibes, the mix of mischief and amusing self confidence perhaps, or maybe he just has the look of an international occult thief? (Red Sky at Morning) He'd be able to steal rare artifacts using his looks and charm I know that.

Valtteri Bottas: Party On Garth x Everybody Loves a Clown

Valtteri strikes me as the most like Garth. Fun, a little silly, but good at his job and scary when he needs to be (Party On Garth). His methods may seem a little out there but he gets the job done. How could I not include the introduction of the best mullet on Supernatural? I know Valtteri would love Ash and call him #mulletgoals (Everybody Loves a Clown). Another character who seems a little unserious out of the profession but Ash is brilliant and knows how to lock in.

Zhou Guanyu: Hunteri Heroici x Wayward Sisters

Zhou would 100% interrogate that cat and get information. He's probably an expert (Hunteri Heroici). I think his level headed mindset would also really help in a case where the world is literally going Loony toons. Zhou also has been through it, but is strong, and iconic in his unique way (Wayward Sisters). He's been fighting an uphill battle in that Sauber car, new hunter learning on the job has a similar experience, add a little dimension hopping in there for flavor.

Esteban Ocon: Beyond the Mat x Hollywood Babylon

Esteban is a sweetheart but do not be fooled, he absolutely would take down his childhood hero if he needed to (Beyond the Mat). I also think that he'd absolutely be one of those hunters looking for all the old Hollywood ghosts, he'd be an expert about which myths were real or fake and have that locked down over there (Hollywood Babylon).

Pierre Gasly: Monster Movie x Simon Said

I am not saying Pierre is a shapeshifter, but I am saying that if he was he'd be doing the over the top camp and theatrics seen in Monster Movie. Also he like Dean has a way of finding out how to have fun even when things are extremely stressful. If he did have mind control powers he'd use them for good or not use them at all, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to use them or that he's not strong (Simon Said).

abu dhabi gp 2024 notes

i've finally watched the race in full. it was painful knowing the results as a ferrari fan with forza ferrari coursing through my veins but. whatever here are notable incidents and penalties issued in abu dhabi gp 2024:

we start with pre-race: charles leclerc, franco colapinto, alex albon, and nico hulkenberg's grid penalties. charles received 10 grid positions (p14 -> p19), franco 5 grid positions (p19 -> p20), alex 5 grid positions (p16 -> p18), and nico 3 grid positions (p4 -> p7).

charles, franco, and alex's grid penalties are due to changes in components exceeding the allocated amount; nico's is due to pitlane exit overtaking.

franco and valtteri bottas gave touching pre-race thank-you radio messages to their teams. bottas to sauber (& ferrari), franco to williams. "you made my dream come true," franco said. the race hadn't even started and i was already emotional.

lights out. turn 1: max verstappen and oscar piastri made contact (max's fault). both spun, but were able to continue. max 10s penalty (+2 pp).

charles leclerc drove like a madman, pulled off insane overtake after overtake amidst all that turn 1 chaos. he went from p19 to p8 in the first lap. amazing, incredible, showstopping, just insane masterclass.

lewis hamilton also drove from p16 to p10 in the first lap! that's a 7x wdc driver for you

bottas and checo perez collision; checo spun and could not continue. checo out. bottas 10s penalty (+2 pp).

around lap 3, oscar braked too late and made contact with franco's rear, causing puncture on franco's tyre. oscar 10s penalty (+2 pp).

zhou guanyu false start. zhou 5s penalty.

kevin magnussen's pit was fucked. lasted 7.2s - seems they couldn't get a rear tyre off or something. rip kmag.

yuki tsunoda's exasperated 'why?!' when told to stay out was so funny lmfao but then he got pitted afterwards anyway

franco retired during his pit for some reason ? to this minute i still do not know the reason. franco out.

liam lawson got out of pit stop with one front wheel not fastened correctly -- an unsafe release. liam 10s stop/go penalty. (wtf that's kinda sad though)

bottas & kevin magnussen collision (bottas no 😭). bottas could not continue due to the damage. bottas 5 grid positions drop penalty for the next race (+ 3pp). does the grid penalty have an expiry date lmfao bcs wdym next race... my guy is unemployed... well, at least in 2025. bottas out.

lewis hamilton, fernando alonso, and max verstappen -- 7, 2, and 4 times champions on a battle train for p7. that was an iconic moment im ngl, amazing underrated shot fr fr

oscar oversteered a little and went off track wide --- but he saved it and continued. it was pretty cool

lance stroll exceeded track limits 4 times. lance 5s penalty (added to race time).

liam lawson stopped during the last lap, causing a momentary yellow flag. i also do not know what the reason for this one is, but damn. gotta be painful when you dnf in the last lap (or second last lap for him). liam out.

lewis was behind george russell for the last few laps and finally overtook him few turns before passing the chequered flag. lewis p16 -> p4, that is crazy

lando norris wins (ugh), securing the wcc (ugh), and carlos sainz p2, charles leclerc p3. this is painful. but it was an incredible performance for charles, driving p19 -> p3 on dry with no one slipping off the track is just. that's generational talent for you. forza charles (even though he looked like he wanted to kill everyone and himself after he got off his car; charles 2025 WILL be your year trust).

lewis gave a heartfelt message to mercedes through the radio... "we dreamed alone but together we believed" what if I CRY. then he did amazing donuts, and after he got out he held onto his car and took his moment with it, cried into it. god i wasn't even a mercedes or lewis fan but this moved me so much i teared up

zhou also did donuts for the crowd!! :")

Ok here’s my final thoughts I guess?

First of all congrats to McLaren fans, your team worked hard. I was rooting for Ferrari and they gave it their absolute all, Charles, Carlos and the team.

Reflection on the year for me personally: (I’m gonna yap)

If someone would have told me 8 months ago that I would have fallen in love with formula one I genuinely would have laughed in their face. In fact last summer I was teasing my friend’s (now ex) boyfriend about him watching it and the weird times for American fans. I’ve made no shortage of referencing that I am a nascar girlie, it’s what I grew up with. One night near then end of March after my dad had watched the nascar Netflix docuseries (without me 😓) I saw Drive to Survive and suggested maybe that be our next watch together (despite the fact that my dad had always said formula one was boring). From the first episode and Danny Rics iconic personality I was hooked. I watched more and more, fascinated by the things that go into building and racing these formula one cars.

In the beginning of April this year I was in a hotel room and bored looking for something to watch on tv. It just so happened that it was free practice 2 of the Japan GP. I watched until the end of the session and then went to bed, didn’t think much about it. Continued watching DTS and learning more (knowing that it was exaggerated). Then Miami in May. My first time watching a full qualifying and a race. And what a race it was. I had bugged my cousin to watch it with me and from then on she was hooked too. Some of the races I couldn’t watch due to them being when I had other time commitments in the mornings but I was checking my phone for the timings, others I swore I wasn’t gonna wake up early (like 3 am) but my body had other plans and woke me up anyways 😂. I learned some f1 lore, watched more of the drivers interactions with each other, became a Max fan after starting off as Charles fan, stopped being afraid to yap about it to just about anyone who will listen to me, I guess to sum up everything is what a season!

Formula one is kind of the first sport I’ve gotten into for my own personal enjoyment and I’m so grateful for all the people I’ve interacted with here on tumblr and the laughter from other peoples reactions to things that have happened this season <3

What has been happening in the world of motorsports lately?

Franco Colapinto becomes a new Williams driver for the last 9 races of the season, Logan Sargeant was dropped with immediate effect

apparently Franco found out on Monday only and he knows he won’t get the seat in 2025 because Carlos has already been confirmed

as a result, Oliver Goethe moves up from F3 to F2 immediately with MP Motorsport in Franco’s place and Noah Stromsted drove in his place in F3 for Campos in the last race of the season in Monza

also gentle (not so gentle) reminder that Roman Staněk was with Trident for the last race weekend in Monza and everything after is uncertain for him

the whole story is: he has two main sponsors, one of them is his own father who decided to stop supporting him, so he can no longer afford it, he got an offer for 2025 from DAMS, but they ask for € 4.7 mil

Roman got replaced by Christian Mansell for the rest of the season (he is not related to Nigel btw) in Trident
