Miles Vs. The Spot reference and animation for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse by Eric De Carolis
I had way too much fun shooting reference for Spot here..😳
I did about 25 different versions trying to find the right amount of awkwardness for him. After splicing together the parts that worked best, this was the final result.

The first episode of the Transformers cartoon aired on September 17, 1984. The Transformer factions The Autobots and the Decepticons left Cybertron and came to Earth in search of Energon. The episode featured the voice talents of Victor Caroli (narrator), Michael Bell (Prowl, Sideswipe), Corey Burton (Shockwave, Spike Witwicky, Sunstreaker, Brawn), Christopher Collins (Starscream, Wheeljack, Reflector, Laserbeak, Sparkplug Witwicky), Scatman Crothers (Jazz), Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Joe), Dan Gilvezan (Bumblebee), Casey Kasem (Cliffjumper, Teletraan I, Bluestreak), Don Messick (Ratchet, Gears), Ken Sansom (Hound), John Stephenson (Thundercracker, Huffer, Windcharger) and Frank Welker (Megatron, Soundwave, Ravage, Rumble, Skywarp). Attended TFCon & drew a print for when I'd meet Victor Caroli, the Narrator from Transformers G1! He was very nice & kindly signed my print!
Included some of his very first lines from the show and tried to make them look like the credits from the 1986, complete with chromatic aberration and blurring (Thanks for the tip @shrimposaurus).
Didn't want to just redraw the main shot of Cybertron from G1, so tried to take elements from various Cybertrons while keeping the spirit and colouring method of G1. Can you spot some of the Easter Eggs? There's a few things from different continuities, such as the Council Citadel from Beast Machines!
After working on the print, I now sort of headcanon the Narrator as the voice of G1 Primus. XD

Me and @emo-dandelion ‘s Kirby fanfiction now has an official prologue!
The fanfic, titled Cor Caroli after the stars, is mainly a Marxolor story! It tells of Marx and Magolor’s origins, how they met, and how their lives are going, while we also reveal the stories of our OCs and how they fit in with the canon!
Much of the inspiration for our writing came from @desultory-novice ‘s fan comic Marionettes’ Pavane, which I have to admit is probably my favorite Kirby fanfiction that I’ve read! My friends and I are big fans! The comic got me into Marxolor, and inspired me to finally share my ideas with the world! Thank you to anyone who is willing to read our gay trauma fest, we appreciate it. :)
The fanfiction will be posted on AO3 under the author name be_gay_docrime. Sometime soon, we will post links on our blogs for anyone who needs to use them!
We’ll have more udpates as we continue working on it. We will post lots of information (and propaganda) on Tumblr, so keep a lookout if you’re interested!
Thanks for reading! We hope you’ll come to enjoy the Fanfic Where Everything Is Gay! :)
"Sache qu'au delà de toutes les péripéties de l'existence dictées par le bien ou le mal, il arrive toujours un moment où une main toute-puissante renoue les fils défaits de la justice immanente."
how was the substance? thinking about going this weekend
Pointed examination of the entertainment industry's fixation on youth, physical appearance, and its dominance over women’s bodies. Exploitation of female figures in Hollywood, emphasizing the unattainable beauty standards forced upon them. Woman are objectified and discarded by the industry as they age, and the visuals juxtapose the slick, glossy allure of pop culture with increasingly disturbing physical transformations. Contrasted between superficial beauty and the darker truths beneath it, critiquing not just Hollywood but society's broader preoccupation with youth and beauty, as well as themes of identity, self-value, and the dread of becoming irrelevant.
If you didn’t know, my friend, @pigamariofthestars and I are writing a Kirby (specifically Marxolor) fanfic on ao3 and we finally posted the second chapter! Here’s the link:
I also made a drawing of human Marx in the outfit described in the chapter!
