While I am unable to watch the "New Adventures of Cinderella" and I can't tell you if it is indeed as bad as every says... I did find behind-the-scenes pictures of the sets used for the movie, in the set designer's online portfolio! And while you can say everything you want with the scenario being bad or the joke offensive, they still did a very good job with the set - at least from the appearance of these pictures.
The living room ("salon") within Cinderella's house:
The ballroom at the King's palace:
The King's throne-room:
The "Petit Théâtre" (Small Theater) within the King's castle:
The King's bathroom:
The house of the seven dwarves (because yes there's a Snow-White crossover in this movie):
The Fairy Godmother's house (in the swamp - because (s)he's the Swamp Godmother and... its a whole gay joke non-French probably won't get)
The attic of Cinderella's house:
The protagonist's flat right under the roof (yes, meant to parallel Cinderella's attic):
A flat's entryway (of who, I don't know)
The various bedrooms within the King's palace
A garden:
The various courtyards of the King's castle:
Inside the King's castle:
And there's much more pictures where they come from: it is Elodie Monet's online website, the Cinderella page being right here.
Boy I sure am gonna figure out this lad someday :')
I'm so bad at keeping my focus but at the same time my brain wont let me move on to other ideas until this ref is done BUT IT WONT FOCUS ON IT
His box weapon is gonna be a nightmare to draw but I will not budge on the concept. I WILL LEARN how to color iridescent things if I have to >:c or die I guess

oh i also talked a lot about fire emblem today. specifically whether i was planning to buy Engage or not. verdict is: Probably, considering reviews say the tactics gameplay is really rich & that's like 80% of why i enjoy playing fire emblem. so yes i am not a fan of the character designs. but i will probably buy it. at some point.
i went to gamestop after work to see if i could find it but didnt see it and INSTEAD i saw 2 games for relatively cheap. so i got those instead.
people will spend months in a sandbox game like minecraft/factorio/satisfactory perfecting a base or a build idea. i'll spend months perfecting a diy linux install and wineprefixes to *run* sandbox games. or any game tbh
those who have seen Dark Castle's films (House on Haunted Hill, Ghost Ship, etc.) can someone tell me what the style of architecture and interior design those sets utilized? they have a very specific look to their locations.
asking because we're watching Ghost Ship and it struck me that I don't see set design quite like these very often. tho I do think See No Evil actually comes the closest (in style and in griminess lol).
