(I get the logic. The average player will go through the same path they take normally, so they'll end up facing Blackmore, Eligor and Death in this order. But since Albus is way more OP than Shanoa and his teleportation laughs in the face of any Glyph, he can tackle Death first. Like I did. But no, the castle in Albus Mode works like Tourian in Super Metroid lmao)

Man, I really need to replay LoS1.

I had the map layout all kinds of messed up in my mind.

So this is the best screenshot I can find of the World Map, with each chapter having an individual map to it. I think where my confusion comes from, is that after Cornell's fight, Pan flies you to Malphas' Tower, where he then takes you to the mountain range to start the hunt for Carmilla.

So essentially, Cornell is here:

And after the fight with Cornell, Pan flies you up here:

Which you fight Malphas, and then Pan takes you here:

Where you go to Wygol Village, Castle Sewers and Grounds, Frankenstein's portion, meet Laura, and then continue until you finally fight Carmilla:

Then Pan opens a portal, which takes you to a destroyed village, that is only known as Woes Moor, where you meet Baba Yaga:

After going through her music box, she opens a portal to Death's realm. This is where you fight Pan and the Gravedigger to access Death:

Then, you go through the realm of Death, where you fight his Necromancers, and then the Dracolich, who is holding the key component to actually bring forth the hidden power spot:

Then you go through, and meet Death, though you don't fight him in this game, instead it gets revealed to be Satan's plan all along, and you face off with Satan instead:

'But Mono, that doesn't account for these two chapters past the End!'

These two are actually the DLCs, Reverie and Resurrection:

Which would mean that the Castlevania City would probably place more in a Finnish/Russia area, with where Baba Yaga's location taking more in a Slavic area, probably would be in a Belarus/Ukraine area.

But the game does start in a more Spanish/French area, with Gabriel's home probably being in the upper left.

So Gabriel would be fluent in Old Spanish, Old French, Old English, and Old Irish. Later on, becoming fluent in modern Russian and Finnish as Dracul. Or something like that.

ok Tumblr. I have a question. Ive watched this stupid fucking vampire anime like 6 times now. The first batch of brainworms died and were predated upon by a second generation of stronger, angrier, vampire brainworms. and yet I what I do not get. what I do not get. is what the FUCK is happening in this scene:

like ok I get that we the viewers need to see that this particular magic mirror is a portal. I get that. but what the FUCK is happening. Why does he do this. As far as I can tell the scene goes thusly:

dracula is depressed in his study as he is for most of this season.

he has a pile of books with a blanket (???) on top of it

he activates the mirror, showing an idyllic woodland scene

he picks up the blanket and???? throws it into the woods (???????????)

he stares at the blanket on the ground for a few seconds and then walks away

this makes. no sense. what was the plan here? Step one: throw perfectly good blanket into some distant forest. Step two: ??? Step three: Profit. Like what the fuck.

Bloodstained beaten!!!! The final boss 100% gave me vibes of chaos from aria of sorrow's lol

Fun game tho~ I'll be back later to try out the other game modes and play around with shard setups some more
