Friendship at first sight. When Mav ended up at the hospital because of his shenanigans, he got lectured by Dr. Mother Goose every. single. time.

At some point, the good doctor got to listen to a loopy Mav's impassioned speeches about a blonde ice cube.

He met said blonde pilot who once came to visit Mav with flowers.

Well, he was pushed into Mav's room, rather rudely, by his giant of a RIO.

"Huh. Blonde Ice Cube, I presume?"

"It's Mister Iceman to you doctor!"

"Oh. And you are?"

"Free for a coffee right now. I think it best to leave these two alone."

Thia is how Doctor Mother Goose met Hulking Guy. Instant meet-cute.

Many years later, his son Bradley became a doctor. Chief Dr Bradshaw loved to dump his idiot best friend into Dr Bradshaw's care.

Then Mav tried to justify himself but it's hard to resist Baby Goose's sad brown eyes. So, he always tried to be on his best behaviour. Only for his favourite godson though.

Oh boy, he really fusses over you; he asks a thousand times if you need anything, or if you're feeling better or worse

"Are you hungry? Thirsty? Tired? Should I come home? Wait for me, I'll try get off work early!"

He makes sure you're as comfortable as possible! Tucks you into bed with his favorite blanket, and presses a kiss to your head, before leaving for the convenience store downstairs

After a nap, if you trail down the hallway quietly, you can catch him humming to himself while cooking a soup for you

Smiles to himself when he sees you schlepp into the kitchen, sniffling, with his blanket draped around you

"You look like a burrito." He comments every time, "A cat burrito." He adds, because his blanket has that yellow-polka-dot-cat pattern

Watches with bated breath as you try his soup. When he sees your face light up at the taste, his shoulders drop in relief and his smile grows confident

Stays in bed with you all through the weekend, playing on his old gameboy while you snuggle and sleep to the game sounds

He giggles when you sneeze because "It just sounds so weird — no, no, not in a bad way! You know, Eren has these 'earthquake sneezes' — don't tell him that I told you that! But they're really loud, it feels like the earth shakes."

Lulls you to sleep with his tranquil voice, sometimes sings but only if you nag him to, since he's a very shy singer

Ah, and let me briefly mention the running joke of him buying you 'get well soon' cards, and writing bad pun jokes in them just to make you clap your hand over your face and smile, because they're so wonderfully dumb

Usually my way is as soon as i start feeling it im slucking that thing down which helps but if it's already too late and I'm at like an 8 or 9 i wait until it kind of dulls (idk it comes in waves for me) or i just try to stay rly still after and before taking it bc moving even a little makes me immediately feel like shit again even like my mattress moving which is sucky. Its so hard sometimes though I wish u luck
