Just a quick question but what often gets you inspired?✨

Oh boy ehhhhhh - here we go to the never ending rabbit hole!!

Sometimes small things gets my attention like e.g. squirrels paws, unique red face of a person at a cold day or seeing chair upside down on icy lake (honestly I am now working on long comic about trolls inspired by that chair).

Comic art and animations inspires me greatly! Lately I have been inspired by animations gems like the thief and the cobbler, treasure island from 1988 (and other Soviet Union animations) and the king and the mocking bird. The animation process fascinates me greatly, how can one make smooth and imaginative animations is wonderful! I can't get enough of it all.

Also concept of kindness inspires me greatly. I have gone throw...lets say a lot. I love stories that show kindness where it is needed, e.g. Tove Jansson's story of invisible child. The child was bullied by their family so much that they turned completely invisible and lost their own voice, eventually they found confidence and selfworth in themselfs thanks to kindness of Moomins. I want my feelings to be seen and heard but sometimes world or people are overwhelming. Kindness is important, otherwise we will fall apart or at least I do. I am still on my way to be kind and understanding of myself and othets but those qualities are more important to me than ever.

Couple weeks ago I started to collect stuff that inspires me or I find interesting. I will list most of them below. If I am not saying anything about certain box, it means I enjoy the show/comic/meme/animal but cannot put my finger on why. Usually those make me smile and give new pespective about life. Somethings might be there twice because I am forgetful baboon!

Junji Ito's horror comics are visually out of this world! But my fav is his humorous comic about his cats. It was so different from his other comics that I fell in love with it.

Emma manga made by Kaoru Mori. Usually I can't stand romantic stories but the characters but the story and the art works perfectly together in her comics.

Comics and animations of @cecameron are gorgeus and fun!

Rainbow Road from Muppets is my favourite song and I wish it would be played at my funeral one day. Its hopeful song that fills me with joy.

Entranta from Shera. She never gives up, I wanna be like her! I wanna see failure is part of the process and helps me get further little by little + its nothign to be shamefull of.

Ponyo's fathers frustration is relatable, also the whole movie is wonderful and colorful. Its maybe my favorite ghibli movie.

Hugo Simberg was Finnish artist at 1900's. Symbolism and sympathetic characters of devils and death has inspired me since I was 8 years old.

Treasure planet is one of my favourite disney movies. The father son relationship between Silver and Jim is great and makes me cry everytime.

Hypnopotamus and Warren Stone from ROTTMNT. Their relationship is wholesome and inspiring + the show itself is fun, full of action and passion! I love it!

Tintin comics are almost religious in my family. It was one of the first comics I saw different from different parts of the world and how tintin could become friends even the most oddest (looking at you captain Haddock) people is marvellous.

Mörkövahti is Finnish children book that accidentally inspired me greatly. The world of troll like creatures, magical elements in the story and research of the creatures made me fall in love in the world of the books. I often love to read books for kids or teens, they are more interesting and I don't have to fear to be faced with rape, sexism and other nasty stuff.

Stop motion animation and expecially Arman animations have been always part of my life. I have soft spot for the pirates movie thanks to it's humor, naivety and animation style.

Adventure time is one of my favourite series and couple of things stuck with me. Some people are build different, you don't have to understand it but you need to respect them. I love this idea greatly and I try to live by it.

Pinsir is my favourite pokemon and it says a lot.

Mr Pogo and other smart ape characters inspire me greatly. No wonder new planet of the apes trilogy is part pf my movie collection. I am not sure why I love smart apes as characters but it always works.

Wander over yander whole concept is to be kind and help people out, I love it.

Peto was made for me by @elle-eedee at lgbtq trolls discord server. Peto ended up becoming my ultimate comfort character and I love to draw him and make stories for him. I loved the way elle-eedee combined my favorite things to create him ❤ also their colorful art inspires me everyone I see it.

Heikko Peikko (meaning Weak Troll) was stop motion animation series in Finland at 70's. Its wonky, basic and charming story of Heikko Peikko's everyday life.

New ducktales series had so many characters from the comics I couldn't believe it at first! Finally I had my favourite characters like Fethry on the show!

I love odd looking animals because I am one too

Animal Crossing is a game I thought I would never play. It looked like a baby game when my big bro gave the it to me at the time gamecube was new console. He bought it because it had a memory card and he know nothing about the game. I tried it and never looked back ❤

The ping pong animation is my favourite animation series from Japan. I got the manga even I can't read it since it's straight from Japan. It's more about the lifes of the characters and how they grow as people than the game itself (or at least it feels like it). The story feels real in a way, that the characters are three dimensional and their reactions are natural. Some charachters stop developing as players, some loose interest completely, some work hard to be the best, some forget why they played in the first place and some found new ways to live their lives. The story is good for my soul.

Comic of @catmilks made me realise there are other people like me. The feeling of the comic is relatable and hopeful, things will pass and life goes on + make sure you take care of yourself.

I love you so much 😭😭😭😭 so a rough timeline of benjen’s au life would look like:

267 AC: Benjen Stark is born to Rickard and Lyarra Stark.

267 AC: Iduna Stane is born to the Magnar of Stane on Skagos.

281 AC: Benjen attends the Tourney of Harrenhal alongside all of his siblings.

282-283 AC: Benjen is the Stark of Winterfell throughout Robert’s Rebellion.

284 AC: Benjen declares he wants to join the watch, Ned’s low key disappointment prompts Benjen to visit all three castles of the Night’s Watch before making his oath.

284 AC: Benjen meets Iduna during his visit to Eastwatch; Iduna usually travels to Eastwatch to trade with the watch every now and again with her people. Benjen entertains the idea of having some nighttime fun before joining the watch and Iduna finds Benjen attractive. The two quickly become infatuated with one another and at this point their relationship is nothing but lust.

284 AC: When Iduna is timed to leave for Skagos weeks later, she becomes too sick to sail. A maester from Eastwatch is asked by Benjen to check on his new “friend” and reveals she is pregnant.

284 AC: Benjen is devastated at the idea of dishonoring her but she couldn’t care any less cause she reveals that she’s a “true born Stane” and she doesn’t really have a mom and is set to inherit her father’s domains as his only issues (Benjen realizes her case is similar to that of Maege Mormont and her daughters).

284 AC: To please his own morals and nerves Benjen proposes to Iduna Stane and she accepts, for the sole fact that she’s still infatuated.

284 AC: word of the marriage spreads eventually. Benjen and Iduna go to Skagos because it was closer and Benjen wished to make ammends for possibly offending Iduna’s family. Magnar Stane is more annoyed but is glad his daughter finally has a husband.

284 AC: Benjen and Iduna choose for their marriage to be recognized as matrilineal, but Benjen will keep his stark name.

285 AC: Benjen travels back to winterfell alone and confronts the news head on to Ned and his growing family. This is when a big fight ensues between Ned and Benjen. Ned’s “honorable” persona clashes with Benjen’s hidden emotions throughout his life. Benjen leaves on a sour note and returns to Skagos.

285 AC: Jocelyn Stane is born at Driftwood Hall to Benjen Stark and Iduna Stane; the birth is so harsh on Iduna that it is recognized as the reason for Iduna’s numerous following miscarriages.

285 AC: Benjen adjusts to all the swift changes in his life. While on Skagos, he learns of its history from Iduna, he sees the said unicorns which are not as pretty as the stories say (the skagosi unicorns are based off of Elasmotherium) and he explores Driftwood Hall, he also adores his daughter Jocelyn.

285-289 AC: Overtime Benjen and Iduna has become true lovers through their love for their daughter, their stories they tell each other and of course their time together in bed. Over this time, Iduna has suffered two miscarriages and is currently pregnant once again.

289 AC: Benjen is recalled to Winterfell by Ned at the start of the Greyjoy Rebellion; he returns and remains distant but for the most part kind to his winterfell relatives. Throughout the war, Benjen and Ned make up. Though they don’t agree with each other completely, they have made up.

289 AC: Along with Ned, Benjen returns to the North; he’s happy for Ned and cat with the birth of Arya. When he arrives to Skagos, he is met with the news of Iduna birthing a stillborn. The two go to sleep holding each other.

290 AC: Beron Stane is born to Benjen Stark and Iduna Stane; his birth is a welcomed surprise by his parents and he immediately becomes Magnar of Stane’s favorite because he’s a boy. Jocelyn isn’t entirely pleased about that.

That is where I’m stuck at with the defined parts of Benjen and Iduna’s story. In the aftermath of everything however, I wanted:

- Hostage Benjen is killed by the Boltons at the Battle of Winterfell, he dies in Jocelyn’s arms.

- Jocelyn flees with Bran and Rickon after the Ironborn take Winterfell and they meet Jon on the way (he doesn’t take the black at the last second). Jocelyn takes Bran’s place as three eyed raven and defies Bloodraven at his cave. Bran and rickon escapes to Skagos and stay with Iduna and Beron. She and Meera Reed head back south just in time to be captured by Stannis who is marching south on the Boltons.

- Iduna is killed in the Battle of Driftwood Hall; Stannis Baratheon tries taking the Stark boys hostage for his campaign in the North and only manages to take Bran. Iduna dies from her wound sustained from the attack.

- Beron becomes lord of Driftwood Hall after Stannis leaves, keeping Rickon as his guest.

- Jon heads south after splitting from Jocelyn and the boys and is backed by Wyman Manderly in retaking the North from the Ironborn and later the Boltons. At the Battle for Winterfell he leads a secret force to betray the Boltons when they fight the coming Stannis. However Jon breaks his covers when Bran and Jocelyn are forced to watch Benjen Stark be killed by Ramsay Bolton when Stannis refuses to surrender. Eventually, Jon and his Manderly force occupy Winterfell. Jon is declared king by his people. Bran refuses Jon’s calls for him to be lord or king instead.

At this point the story ends at around Game of thrones season 6ish and the start of Winds of Winter. This is as far as I got and yeah, I hope you like it. let me know what y’all think, hope you’re having a beautiful day/night take care 💗

Family pets for your ships?

Hehehe, was wondering when this would come up. I don’t have much in terms of this ask. BUT, that doesn’t mean thought went into this!

Jaune and Ruby still have Zwei, but he’s very old now. Ruby did however, adopt five wolves after going out on a mission for about uhhh, 2 months. Later on the wolves grew up alongside my Lancaster kids. The wolves names are Drei, the youngest and has a scar on his left hip, Vier, the second youngest and the laziest of the pack, Funf, the most active and only girl, Sechs, the one who wags his tail the most, and finally Null, the eldest of the pack and is usually seen with a stoic, watchful look on his face.

Weiss and Neptune didn’t think about getting a pet for a while until they caved when Jack and Nik begged and pleaded for one. So, they got a scottish fold kitten! A rescue from a shelter, she’s very small and likes to rub against other people’s legs for attention, and her name is Leonie! She’s also a good therapy animal for Willow whenever she’s alone with the little cat.

Blake and Sun don’t have a pet, they already have to deal with enough animals at home in the form of their four kids. I’m kidding, they have a pond full of koi fish they take care off!

Yang and Whitley share “pet custody” with Zwei and the wolves and Leonie, so they’re fine on that part.

Emerald and Mercury didn’t think of getting a pet, but after (a lot of) pleading from Jade, started small and got her a turtle. She named him Shelly. :3

Roman and Neo wanted a pet first before a kid, so they got a Main Coone (rather stole from a rich couple who were mistreating the poor thing) before they had their daughter. His name is Cooper!

Ironwood and an OC of mine, Taylor, have plans to get a malamute for their son.

Qrow & Winter are in the same boat as Yang & Whitley.

Oscar and Penny took in a wild rabbit for their daughter Clementine after she had rescued it from a baby Ursa. Now he acts as a little therapy pet due to Clementine developing dissociation, his name is Mr. Checkers.

Ren and Nora bought a budgie for their son Jonas and a chinchilla for their daughter Yuki. The budgie’s name is Cheeky and the chinchilla’s name is Ume.

Cinder and Vlad had an owl that lived in the tree outside their house, but he had migrated to a different place and never came back. After Kain and Ash were born, the two kids had stumbled across a den for never before seen Grimm, an Alpha Creep. Cinder & Vlad concluded that they should kill, but after Kain begging and pleading them not to, they relented. Instead, Kain had gone out in secret to feed the Alpha Creep as a means to “tame” him, and...it worked! The Grimm had grown comfortable around Kain and Ash and is basically their pet now! Due to the creatures battle-scarred appearance, Kain had named him Scarr.

► Are your parents still married ➔ “The last time I spoke to my parrrents was a few sennights afterr my fifth nameday. They werrre neverr marrried, a common thing among Seekerrrrs.” F’ismat shifts her feet, her arms folding behind her back as she takes a comforting and familiar at ease stance.

She flinches slightly, her cool and professional air stifled for just a moment. “I am surrrre you have a rrreason for asking, but I believe my figurrre is not so masculine as to make that question necessarrry.” There’s a shift in her body language as she thrusts her chest out. ► Summer or winter ➔  The question disarms the Miqo’te, a ghost of a smile resting on her lips. “Winterrr. Rrradz-at-Han is blessed by Azeyma’s gaze but also high humidity. It can be unbearrrable on some suns. Durrring the winterr it is pleasant, though the evening rrrequirres a blanket.” ► Morning or afternoon ➔ “Rrrise with Azeyma to begin yourrr sun, enjoy the blessed cool of the morrrning. The sight of the worrrld coming to life with you.” She cants her head slightly, the topic seeming to be something she’s fond of.

► Have you ever broken someone’s heart ➔ “A young scion of the Tawfiq family took to me. He showerrred me in gifts and prrraise, but I turrrned down his advances when he apprroached me in prrrivate. His prride was stung if nothing else.” She shakes her head, the sandy brown locks bouncing. “I do not believe I brroke his hearrrt, simply disappointed his loins.”

► Are you afraid of commitments ➔ “You must be speaking of parrrrtnerrrships. I have no opinion, it has neverrr been rrrelevant.” She pulls her hand from behind her back, holding her palm up to the questioner to delay their next question. “If you mean any kind of commitment, no. I serrrve my masterr and my peerrrs without rreserrrvation.”

► Have you hugged someone within the last week? ➔ She simply holds her gaze on the questioner, she doesn’t intend to answer this. There’s a strong chance the answer is ‘no’, but she’s tiring of the topic of romance.

► Have you ever had a secret admirer ➔ She nods, almost relieved that this is something she can easily reply to. “Yes, I did. I thought it was the prreviously mentioned man hoping to rreinvigorrrate his purrrsuit of me. Then the gifts became morrre thoughtful, focused, and feminine. Eventually my admirrrerr came forrrwarrd.”

It is not drrriven wholly by a need to sate yourrrself.”

► Lemonade or iced tea ➔ She seemed greatly relieved by the sudden shift in questioning. Merciful relief from the far too personal questions about her distinct lack of a love life. “Iced tea is farrr more rrrefrreshing, the bitterrr taste mixes beautifully with a bit of sugarrr orr honey.”

► A few best friends or many regular friends ➔ There’s a pause before F’ismat replies, the question actually prompting her to think it over. “I feel you will naturrrally have both. Those who you are trrruly close to will be those you maintain. Acquaintances orrr associates will rrremain. If I must choose, it is the forrrmerr.”

► Wild night out or romantic night in ➔ As the topic steers back towards love and sex, she shoots a glare at the questioner. She thought they were past this by now. “One, and then the otherrrr. Both are good, time spent laughing and watching dancing sets firrrre to your soul. An evening in, rrreading, sipping wine, orrr simply enjoying company is like the sun’s rays kissing yourrr skin. ► Fallen down/up the stairs ➔ “Forrr a time I had trrrouble going up and down stairrrs while carrrying my worrrkload. I ended up trrripping with a trrrio of blades in hand, I still have the scarr on my shin frrrom that. I started taking extrrra trips rrrather than rrisk it frrrom then on.”

► Wanted something/someone so badly it hurt? ➔ “You seem focused on rrromance.” She notes dryly, her fail wooshing behind her. “Yes, that is a naturrral parrrt of life. Desirrre is what motivates the grrreat and small.”

► Wanted to disappear ➔ F’ismat tenses, her shoulders pulling back and her musculature tensing. Of all the things asked, this is what has struck her most direly so far. “Yes, when you feel like you’ve no place orrr purrrpose it would be easierrr to simply vanish.”

They’re likely not much taller than she is which is quite tall for a Miqo’te woman.

► Intelligence or Attraction ➔ “What you mean is intelligence or appearrrance. You can be attrrracted to intelligence orr otherrr factorrrs. Shallow as it is, I would prrreferrr a handsome orrr beautiful visage. Intelligence is wonderrrful, to be trrrue, but I would rrrather they be loyal, kind, and attrractive than the brrightest mind in the rrroom.”

► Hook-up or Relationship ➔ She takes a step forward as her arms unfold, her index finger thrusting against the chest of the questioner. “Yourrr ‘sly’ questions about my prrreferrences have worrrn theirrr welcome.” Sadly, it seems you’ll never find out what she thinks about this. Considering how deeply she values loyalty though..

Some would say my life is, but I do not considerrr it that at all. I was brrrought frrrom poverrty and strrrife to a life of learrrning and stablity.”

► Have you ever ran away from home ➔ “No. I was sad forrr a shorrrt time, but the kindness of the Tawfiq family and theirrr serrrvants soothed my tearrrs within a sennight.” The anger in her voice begins to ebb away, the tension lessening with every word spoken.  “I felt.. special, carred forrr, and prrrotected.”

► Have you ever gotten kicked out ➔ “I was purrrchased shorrrtly afterrr my fifth name-day. I was considerrred superrrfluous, the Bearrr trrribe had a long rrrun of ferrrtile pairrrings.” F’ismat speaks of this like it was the same as someone picking up a sack of oats from market. “That is close enough, though it was a blessing.”

You will rrreceive no otherrr warrrrning.” F’ismat leverages her strength, sending the irritable soul staggering back before she takes her leave, the last glimpse of her being her tail snaking ‘round the corner.
