But I have trouble understanding and internalizing what it means that Psyche was the most beautiful human ever born. Because, what does it mean to be beautiful?

I thought of when Saturn in Sag conjoined my natal Mercury-Psyche-Pluto conjunction in Sag and how it set me off on this quest towards higher education. It was actually sort of positive as a transit in the sense that I was given a mission/something to converge on - and was mustered the skill/knowledge and will required to accomplish the task. However, it wasn’t beautiful as much as it was impassioned, focused, etc. I think my favorite embodiment of it was in how I didn’t even think of beauty because beauty did not matter to me as much as accomplishing the goal set out in front of me.

So, Plutonic implications aside, I wonder if the real story of Psyche is this - a girl locked out of society via an isolating appearance, albeit perfect. When she is finally met with a glimpse of true connection, one which brings out her human emotions like curiosity and suspicion. She acts on those feelings (a human mistake), and indirectly incites her own quest towards true connection.

Given this reading, there are also implications of bravery, pursuit, and redemption - animating the feminine figure as one of imperfection and action. None of this deals with her beauty though, until the very end.

The earliest magic within myself was probably sparked by Saturn in Sag for this reason, along with other factors like saturn’s trine to my asc and then later my natal saturn.

In fact, I also got my acceptance to college on 12/10/2016 which was following a Sun-Saturn cazimi. (LOL that cazimi also actually exactly squared my natal jupiter-mars opposition, but whatever)
