𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐧 | 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫- 𝐁𝐨𝐱𝐞𝐝!

Screaming, loud defeaning screams.

There were people running in every direction, all scurrying away through the streets to run from the creature marching over a row of cars, crushing the vehicles to lumps of metal and glass.

It was large and blue in colour, looking like a mix between a rodent and a man; a humanoid rat. The head was that of a human bit with large round ears and whiskers, body about 7 feet tall with a thin layer of fur covering it and a protruding long tail. It carried on it a backpack and a what seemed to look like a leaf blower, but instead of shooting out powerful gusts of air it instead shot beams of purple light. Whenever it hit an unlucky civilian, there would be a layer of purple smoke before it revealed the human being caught and trapped in a box, taped and sealed on the ground as they relentlessly pounded on it to get out.

“I am Box Rodent! All you filthy humans have never known what it feels like to live trapped and in fear have you? Well with the help of the House of Evolution, I have been born to stir up that feeling in you pests!” It bellowed, cackling as it's tail wiggled around while it continues to shoot more people, wacking all the boxes with it's tail as it basked in the screams of all the people it had trapped.

It's large feet padded across the street, sneering at the cowering humans with disgust. “Unlike us rodents you humans won't be able to live so long inside a box that tight with no air. Hehe, enjoy suffocating till your inevitable deaths~” It sang, aiming the weapon at a crouching child. And just as they were about to pull the trigger, a web encased their wrist, pulling it back and tying it to a lamp post.

The creatures eyes widened, glaring in the direction of the artificial web. “WHOS THERE? How dare you challenge me- MMF-?”

“Damn you talk too much,”

A masked figure dropped onto the asphalt, clad in red and blue with the insignia of a spider etched right in the center of their suit. He aimed his wrist at the rodent, successfully webbing it's feet onto the ground too, much to it's disapproval. “What are you doing, boxing people up like we're some kind of Christmas present? Tsk, doesn't seem like something a cute little mouse like you should do don't you think?” He mused.

At the provocation the rodent humanoid bellowed in rage, ripping it's feet out of the sticky webs before aiming his box blower at the masked hero. “SHUT UP! I am Box Rodent! Before I make you suffocate in cardboard I suggest you quit trying to stop me!" They growled, starting to shoot beams of purple at the spider themed hero.

Fortunately the other was nimble on their feet, dodging each of the attacks with a hum, webbing himself to the building behind the rodent and tugging on the strong artificial silk, launching himself through the air and kicking the back of the rat. He landed with a small huff, sprinting forward before springing up over the fallen and cursing creature, yanking the machine off of it. “Well then Box Rat, I'll tell you one thing. I'm Spiderman, the one that will be stopping you toda-!”

Ah, dear oh dear.

With a swift smack of the human rodent's tail, Spiderman's grip on the device loosened, a gasp leaving him as he tried to grab it again, only to accidentally pull the trigger.

Pointed right at himself.

Now kicking and shouting within a carefully wrapped box, he groaned, hearing the monster he was fighting grab his weapon again and begin leaving.

My name's Vernon Chwe, I'm a senior at Seoul's Daejeon Academy. I was just your normal high school nerd, y'know; glasses, large hoodies, getting bullied and being that one loser who's only stand out feature is his smarts. Life was fine with me just living with my Aunt May and Uncle Ben, all up until one school trip to the Science Center.

I got bit by a radioactive spider and just like that my entire life was turned upside down. I gained superhuman speed, agility, strength and the ability to cling to walls. I even developed something I like to call “Spidey Senses”, but I basically got the powers of a spider. Now I'm a web slinging self proclaimed hero! But my identity's still a secret as I hide my face behind my mask.

I'm still learning to get used to life as a superhero while also navigating my way through my freshman year of university and finding out the reason for the mysterious death of my parents, but as far as I can tell, life pretty much has lots in store for me.

Your teeth chattered, battling the early morning frigid air. White wisps of your shaking breath vaporized in front of you. Your arms were tightly wrapped around your chest and your knees bounced with a little dance to keep your blood flowing.

me: where the hell are you? are you coming down?

Your dry and cold fingers typed out the words hurriedly on your phone screen. One more time, you smashed your finger on the buzzer button. You figured that if he had fallen asleep after inviting you over, you would kill him.

“Come on, come on,” you hissed into the open air.

Thick footsteps came clomping down the stairs from the other side of the frosted glass door, and your attention quickly whipped over.

As expected, he had adorned himself in nearly all black clothing. Nevertheless, he had thought to pull out his silver chain over the padded coat with white stripes down the arms.

“Took you long enough. Let me in, I feel like my toes are frozen.”

Changbin’s eyes cast down to your thin canvas sneakers you had put on in your haste, which were now covered in snow.

“You should have worn better shoes then. Lets get going.”

“--Get going??”

He swung the door behind him closed and it locked with a little click.

“We’re going somewhere?”

“I’m hungry.” Changbin simply announced, then took off walking down the block.

“I thought that--”

“--Keep up. It’s not that far.”

He led the two of you onward, and you snuck one more look up at him and the way that the snowflakes got tangled in his hair.

“Here, be careful, it’s hot.”

After brushing off the ice crusted bench, Changbin presented to you a giant bowl of steaming noodles so large you guessed you could keep live fish in it. The smell of the broth was dreadfully nostalgic and was full of all of your favorite ingredients, almost as if he had known exactly what you would’ve ordered. You couldn’t help but feel giddy while the steam wafted up your nose.

You wondered with full eyes, “Oh my god, what is this?”

“-The best thing that you’ll ever have in your life. You might as well thank me now.”

You pulled the little heater closer towards the two of you with radiating orange coils. Changbin didn’t skip a beat sitting right down next to you, letting the fabric of both of your coats intermingle.

“This is my favorite place in the city. Their recipes really remind me of my mom and grandma’s.”

“Well I’m really excited to try.” You blew off a handful of noodles steaming into your nose while Changbin expectantly watched you hork it down.

“So?”

You covered your chomping mouth with your hand. “So, so good.”

“Hmm.” He scoffed, then there was that smug little smirk of his.

You thought to yourself that it was kind of cute.

The two of you sat quietly together, watching the silent sounds of the snowfall on the road in front of you, following the cars that passed. Over time, your body seemed to gravitate: bit by bit and piece by piece, closer to the boy next to you.

Changbin set down his metal chopsticks with a tiny clink on the table. “So, are you going to tell me about yourself now?”

“Me?”

“Didn’t I say last time I wanted to know?”

You remembered, but this time you couldn’t as easily kiss away the questions on his lips.

“How do you mean? There isn’t too much to know.”

“I don’t think that’s true. What is it that you study?”

“You want to know what I study?”

You nearly laughed in your surprise at the mundane question considering that the person sitting across from you had seen you turned inside out, a moaning and muttering mess upon first meeting, and he wanted to know what you studied?

“Why does that matter?”

“Matters ‘cause I want to know.” He simply returned, and gave you that look.

Normally his eyes were stormy grey, like the way that the sky would sizzle with energy before lighting would crack. They clouded with severity that seemed dangerous when he was angry, or when there was something that he wanted. But, looking at you like this, there was no danger that they held.

“Are you going to tell me or just keep glaring at me like that?” Changbin nodded to your nearly empty bowl. “Finish that. Don’t let it go cold.”

You did as you were told--at least it wasn’t answering the question.

“Fine. You don’t have to tell me. But tell me something else at least. Why were you at that show?”

“My friends took me? My friend Chan is really into underground rap and stuff like that so he usually drags me and Felix with him. I don’t mind.”

“See? Was answering that that hard?”

You had forgotten, then laughed a little to yourself. “Chan actually was there to see you. He had heard about you from whatever those circles are. He was really excited.”

“I’m actually glad you were there for that reason. For a second there I thought you might’ve said that you were there to see Han Jisung.”

You nearly spat out your bite of noodles, and choked a little on the broth.

“Guy’s a fuckin’ showboat and a cocky asshole. The girls at the shows are usually there for him.”

“What the fuck? You didn’t just say that.”

Anger bit like acid in your throat.

“What? He is!!”

It should have hurt more that he had assumed that you were one of the masses that would fall over their feet for Han Jisung, but it didn’t. Your chest twisted in knots knowing that the assumption was right--that hurt the most. You felt sick knowing now how he would look at you if he knew where you would stoop.

“I’m complimenting you!! I’m glad that you don’t waste your time on assholes like him.”

“Since when do you get to pass judgement on who I do and don’t spend my time with? -And aren’t you one of those same assholes? Up there on that stage, what makes you think that you’re any different from the rest of them?”

“I mean...I like to think that I’m not--”

Your eyes rolled back so far it might’ve hurt a little.

“You’re all the fucking same. I’m so fucking stupid.”

The words quietly fell off your lips like venom.

“We’re all?” What are you talking about?”

“And what the hell is this with trying to get up all in my business? We fucked once Changbin, what more do you want from me? You think I owe you something now? I’m not falling for that again.”

The crunch of your footsteps padded the snow when you turned out of your seat to speed away from him as fast as you could, and as far as you could.

He was the unbelievable one.

“Stop! I don’t get what you’re talking about. Falling for what again? You’re not making any sense! And no, I don’t think that you owe me something. I’m sorry if you thought that. I’m just--” He grabbed at your arm.

“--WHAT?” you tore his hand away.

“Is it a fucking crime to fuck someone and then give a damn about them? Ever heard about that happening?”

In your life?

Something terrible and suffocating rose in your chest that felt like a sob that you had held in for much too long.

“Listen.” Changbin approached you closer, carefully, that look softening. “It’s freezing out here, it’s late. We...don’t have to talk about it any more. I’ll take you back to my place, I’ll call you a cab, you can go home? Okay?”

Changbin poked out his arm looped in his pocket for you to link up to.

You didn’t need his help when you knew the way.

Rosemary and cedarwood again. It was like it was everywhere. It was in the hoodie that he insisted that you put on and all entangled in the fabric of that blanket that he draped around your shoulders. Had you remembered what it was like under the covers of his bed, it was likely there too.

“Warming up?”

The bed bounced a little where he sat next to you with the tips of his ears pink. As cold as you were, you were certain that he must have been colder.

“I’m fine. Thank you.” You crossed up your cold feet under your legs.

“20 minutes? Then I’ll call them?”

You nodded, pulling up the blanket hem to your nose and covering half your face.

Changbin breathed out a little laugh. “You look like a marshmallow.”

“Gee, thanks.”

“Not a bad thing.”

His smile fell, and he focused on the silver rings twisting around his fingers. He fiddled with them, and you watched, neither of you knowing really what to do with the silence. After some resolve, he crawled over next to you, to lay facing your bundled up face.

At last, he sighed, “I could tell you about me. If you care.”

Rather than respond, you merely kept on looking at the way the silver would glimmer in the dim yellow of the light.

“Everything that I do, I do to rap and to perform. My parents never supported me doing this kind of thing and said that if I wanted to do it, I would loose their support. After a while, I realized their support wasn’t that valuable anyway if it was going to be over something that didn’t matter to me. I moved out after high school, I’ve been doing this ever since.”

“You like it that much?”

He cracked his fingers, “Sometimes you just know what it is that you’re gonna spend your life doing. For me, it’s this.”

Your eyes fell to your own hands which still were speckled with little flecks of acrylic.

“I know what you mean.”

“You do?”

“I...paint. And stuff like that. It’s not my major, it could never be, but I feel like that when I’m mixing the colors together and it’s just right. Helps me get the thoughts outta my head.”

“Yeah...it’s exactly like that.”

In the warmth of the blankets, you felt a yawn escape your lips and your eyes grow heavy. Your vision had grown blurry, and your dry eyes begged for sleep, but you could still see the way that creeping little smile tugged at his lips.

You thought to yourself that it was kind of cute.

“Thank you for telling me something about you.”

His voice was some kind of dreamy watercoloring of pale pinks and blues. You thought you had likely imagined it. The weight of his hand on your arm felt weightless too, why was it lingering here? His fingers tickled your ear while he swept your hair behind the skin.

The way that he whispered, “You’re making me want to kiss you.” must have been some kind of dream too.

Laying like this, right by your side reminded you for before, and the way that your brain had gone cloudy--you could’ve kissed him like that for hours.

Behind the two of you, a group of two ambitious girls hushed as they organized their plethora of colored pens and highlighters. Minho bowed a little sorry in apology.

His voice dropped to a whisper, “I’m assuming that this isn’t yours.”

“I-it’s new. I just haven’t worn it before.”

He scanned over the fabric and the little white brand on the left sleeve. “Huh. Must be a popular one I guess. I’m pretty sure that my one of my friends has the same one.”

“--Will you lend me something to write on...and with? I...didn’t bring my stuff with me.”

“Really.” Your classmate tore out a piece of his notebook paper--a little extra loudly as well--just for those eavesdropping girls behind you. “You should’ve just not come.”

To your left, your phone vibrated with the screen illuminated:

Your heart dropped a little remembering how you had pardoned Felix’s worried nagging and turned on the Find My Friends feature in your phone.

Your phone screen lit up the underside of your table as you frantically tapped through your settings to turn off the slide bar. In the corner of your eye, you had seen Minho take his phone under the table as well.

You read over the messages over and over, refreshing the little chat nearly every two seconds. Over the time waiting, your hand had grown embarrassingly damp, and your foot nervously tapped at the floor to the same tune that your chest thumped with your anxiety.

This was fucking humiliating.

Granted, you were no stranger to unsavory behavior, but somehow, this felt even worse. Furthermore, it all could have been avoided:

It was becoming all too a common theme for you: you didn’t remember falling asleep, only waking up to the blaring of your alarm to those obnoxious Tardis sounds that were just a little too out of date...considering that you had long past all that Dr. Who stuff.

Changbin had actually left the bed all to you, waking up some time a little before you from sleeping on the couch and offering you some horribly cheap tasting coffee. You still drank it.

The library overlooked the main quad of your university. In the wintertime, the trees that encircled the usually grassy circle were reduced to craggy and bare fingers powdered in the white snow.

“What the hell were you thinking?” You scolded yourself though clenched teeth.

“--Y/n?”

He had snuck up on you, coming from the right, rather than the front of the entrance.

You squeaked out, “Oh fuck.”

Minho twisted your jingling keys around his fingers.

“This is...” Minho laughed out incredulously, “...a coincidence.”

You clawed your keys from his hand with a hasty “Thanks.”

His eyes scanned you up and down as if he was meeting you for the first time, which he certainly wasn’t.

“The hoodie. Dammit. I should’ve known.”

“I-I really need to get back inside, they might need me in th--”

“--So you’ve been screwing him?”

Your heart thumped even more painfully.

“Wait, and you’ve been inside my apartment before and I didn’t even know?”

“Well I didn’t know that you were his roommate!! I didn’t even plan on meeting any of you if I could help it!!”

“So what is he, like, your type?”

“HEY. I don’t mean to stay over, it kind of just happens...I didn’t even want to see him after the first time--”

Minho scoffed then shoved his pink hands into the pockets of his navy and white striped bomber jacket.

“Will I be seeing you around there now?”

“--No.” You cut in. “You won’t.”

Your classmate huffed out a visible breath, “You say that now, but I know that you don’t mean it.”

“What the hell do you mean?”

Minho rolled his eyes, then gave the top of your head a chastising pat.

“If you’re gonna be over, you might as well bring snacks or something. No one in that damn apartment knows how to grocery shop for themselves besides me.”

Too many fucking coincidences.

You had sat yourself at the exact same table that you had sat at the night before, but this time, you watched as it was Changbin who was standing behind the counter of the noodle shop, taking orders, and smiling much too widely for it to have been normal. He was even wearing one of those cutesy little aprons that the rest of the employees had: there was a little chicken embroidered in the corner next to his nametag.

To anyone else, it made no logical sense why you had decided to show up there: but your frazzled brain still working off your embarrassment from earlier thought this was the best thing to do. You felt like yelling just to get something out of your body. It wasn’t even his fault that his roommate happened to be one of your friends. Your head however, made it his fault.

He had clocked you from where you had sat fuming, not even looking phased at all. In fact, he had dished out for you one of those smirks. One of those stupid, cute smirks.

“See you tomorrow.” He clapped his coworker on the back while he took off his apron.

The shop door creaked out when he opened it.

“Didn’t expect to see you here. You really wanted to see me that soon already?”

You shoved the bundle of his hoodie from your hands to his.

“Here.”

“You came all this way just to give me my hoodie back? That and I’m assuming Minho told you that I work here.”

“How come you didn’t tell me that before?”

“Didn’t seem that important--”

At last, you let yourself snap. “--You made a fucking fool of me today!! Do you know how awful it was??”

“Ahhh Minho did say something about knowing you.”

You had expected sympathy, but rather he teased you with that little cocky grin. Had you known any better, it was almost like he was admiring how flustered you had become.

One, two, then three fat raindrops fell from from the sky and onto his parka, then the rest followed all at once. The bits of slushy and freezing rain barreled in suddenly and fell sideways. It slapped against the sidewalks and pattered on the shutters and gutters of the buildings lining the road.

“Great! This is just great!!” You pulled your coat over your head.

Changbin grabbed at your hand without hesitation. “Come with me.”

Frozen bits of snow and rain matted your hair and dripped off into your collar; meeting your bare skin. Your entire body felt as if it had been plunged into a freezing cold ocean, and you shook with ferocity. The heater in the little vestibule blasted you with heat upon your entrance: a welcome feeling to your drenched body. He had reached out for your hand to guide you to the elevator even though you knew the way.

Water dropped off your bodies into the linoleum floor of the elevator and it got all muddled too by prints from your shoes. After, you followed him further into the apartment building, to the very place you had sworn up and down that you would never see again. You didn’t know how many more times you would have to say it out loud before you would actually obey your own words.

“Fuck--it’s so cold.”

Changbin clinked his keys into the brass keyhole in the long and dank hallway that had matted red velvet carpeting. There was an odd and old-looking stain in front of his door that you had noticed last time.

“It’ll be warmer inside.”

“Are you sure about that?”

He didn’t need to, but he reached out to you once more to pull you through the doorframe. A sense of determination seemed to sweep over him, and you could just barely see that stormy expression cloud over his eyes.

“Ah! Y/n! How nice to see you here officially at last!”

Minho perked up from his book where he was cuddled up on one of those pleather couches in the living room.

Changbin didn’t give you a chance to to respond, but rather tugged you away down the hallway to the bathroom at the very end nearest his room.

“Changbin, what are you--”

He slammed the door behind the two of you, then flicked on the lights at the exact same time as he crashed his whole body into you, flattening your back against the door and scooping up both sides of your face to run his cold lips over yours. His hands were just as cold, and the tips of his bangs dripped tiny droplets of water onto your forehead.

In your shock, your hands were suspended in the air, but he just as quickly took them to wrap them around his sides.

The wooden door rattled a little behind your back, but the sounds faded when he deepened his kiss: floating his tongue over your bottom lip and letting out a breathy little gasp along with it.

“Fuck. You’re really good at making me want you.”

His voice had turned grave with his want, and he never broke your gaze while he peeled off every single piece of your soaked clothing. His eyes ravished your bare skin riddled with goosebumps, and he immediately took to kissing into your shoulders and collarbones once he had access. You tried your best to help him take his clothes off too, but instead he pushed your hands away to do the task himself. Once he had finished, he connected his lips with yours.

“Touch me.” He commanded of you.

You found the request odd, but you still obliged him, starting by running your hands down this pecs then to his abs and around his waist where you scratched at the skin of his lower back. He did the same to you: tracing gentle fingers down your breasts, then going to kneed at them, tweaking the buds just slightly. It wasn’t for long until he encapsulated you completely into his arms, then drew a line into your spine with his ring finger.

Your body warmed by the second: skin now set ablaze by his teeth grazing the skin of your neck.

He drew you along with him, then turned on the water to the shower with a metallic sounding groan. Within a couple minutes the whole room filled with a dense steam. He lead you in to the small compartment, stopping too for a moment to watch the way that the water flowed down your body in little transparent veins.

“You’re perfect.” He whispered into the nape of your neck.

The showering of water was too loud for you to hear, and it wasn’t like you were paying attention anyway. Your phone vibrated where it at fallen in your mess of clothes on the tiled floor.

Happy Wholesome Wednesday everyone!!~ I've chosen to spend my Wednesday in my comfy hoodie in soft hours!~ I'll be hanging around and will give myself like, a real REAL break from practicing magic and just having some time with myself and friends! Hope you all are spending your day with your loved ones happily! Remember to eat well, rest well, and enjoy a nice day!

I'm also extremely happy with how many people I've managed to make friends with and have just a blast with. And just real quick, I'mma add this bit for the you all who's now managed to have a special place in my heart (Ew. Yeah, I know. It's sounds really really cringey but bear with me 😤):

First is to Tae hyung (@fighter-x-taeyong), and I swear. 😤 But, with all of that aside, thanks for looking after me and hanging around me and the others, especially taking care of us. I promise I won't try to be too much of a pain along with the other maknaes, but, no guarantees, y'know? SHHSHSHS. But, take care of "you-know-who" yeah? As much as I bully him a lot, I'm his lil bro so if something happens, I'll be there. Anyways, I'm saying it only ONCE: "But yes, yes. 'M your guys' babie -w-"

Second is to the other Taeyong hyung, my purple witch bro (@warlockyong)✨ I'm lucky to meet another man of magic like me, and thank you for bearing through my lil' weird but cute nickname for us witch bros. Parings: All The C guys X You lol

Looking at your dating app you had four dates lined up with four men each with the same initials tattooed on your wrist. You were hopeful that one of these four men would be your soulmate. Taking a breath your first date was with a Cater Baizen.

"Hi, are you Carter?" He smiles at you as he sits down, you could tell he was made of money his clothes his whole persona screamed rich. He was nice he flirted a bit you felt a little pull towards him but nothing that screamed soulmate.

Plus the more you talked you realized his initials didn't match with yours he's was HC you smile and chat some more he may not have been your soulmate but you made a friendship with him.

"We may not have been soulmates but this was truly the start of a beautiful friendship."

Your next CB was Chris Beck he was goofy cute and sweet you enjoyed the time with him. He wanted to show you the stars he was a doctor but he had also been to space, and you were feeling stars with him.

You felt something with Chris Beck but you still weren't 100% if he was the one. But you wanted to see him again.

"Your eyes shine like stars." He whispers shy and cute like.

Charles Blackwood, he also screamed rich and well... Assholish you eyed him as he boasted about himself and acted like he was the king. He annoyed you and you were grateful for the tiny little pull towards him but it was nothing compared to Chris's pull.

Saying goodbye to Charles was great.

"Yeah, your none brand-name clothes wouldn't work with me." He scuffed at you.

Next was Officer Chris Baker you were seeing stars again but you were confused. You felt the same stars as you did with Chris Beck. Your feelings and emotions were very confusing like a spider's web you were so confused so unsure of these feelings.

"I hope to hear back from you Kitten," Chris said with a low drawl as you two parted ways.

Lost in your mind you walk around the park your eyes catch sight of the night sky and the stars shining bright. You stop to admire them.

"That bright star is Sirius its the brightest star in the sky." Your eyes light up as you see Chris standing wearing a cute NASA hoodie looking shy again.

"It is beautiful," you say with a smile as he walks a little bit closer.

"I said it was the brightest star but your eyes are the brightest I've ever seen." Your heart stops as you get lost in his baby blue eyes.

Suddenly the stars aligned as you realized something. Your wrist starts to throb as you look down a star forms in the middle of the "CB"

"Chris? I think you're my star." You blush as you hold out your wrist he runs his fingers over it and gently presses his lips to it.

"I think you're my star too."

The pull was the strongest you've ever felt as your pulled in his big warm arms you suddenly feel home.

"So star glazing for our first date and maybe hot cocoa after?" You smile big. As you snuggle in his arms.

NYLON JAPAN February Issue - Stray Kids Eng Trans

The world based Stray Kids has appeared for the first time!

At the start of the year, I read a fortune telling column on some magazine, that I’ll have a new encounter during the latter half of the year. The new counter in the latter half of 2019 was with Stray Kids, and the fortune telling was true. The shock I had when I first saw Stray Kids. Their fluid but powerful dancing, vocals that captured anyone who listened to them, and their rap performance as goo as any hip hop artist. Anyone who sees their stage will for sure be captivated by them. For the first time, Stray Kids have appeared solo on a Japanese magazine, and on the cover of NYLON guys. After their debut in Korea in 2018, they quickly went on a very successful world tour, showcasing their popularity and significance not only within Asia but all over the world. They have finally announced their long awaited Japanese debut in March of 2020. As for a boy group which is world based, this might be something normal. We will introduce Stray Kids who will surely become the icon of all boys group, through their fortune tellings and special photoshoot by NYLON JAPAN.

Lee Know

Known for his powerful and flexible dance. From his beautiful sculpted face, he is named the “Dancing Gem” by the fans. From Korea.

In the cold and brisk breeze, reminding me of winter’s arrival, I met Stray Kids in Seoul, Korea. They entered the set still looking sleepy. During the waiting times, they played with the cats on set, or teased each other, showing the natural sides of the group, the average age of the members being 19 years old. Different to the powerful faces they have on stage, another reason as to why they are popular. A little different to their normal styles, with the colourful outfits and ennui concept. Feel their first story through NYLON JAPAN.

Q. Firstly, please tell us how you feel about today’s shoot.

Bang Chan: As it is our first appearance on NYLON JAPAN, we are very honoured just by that. It has created a new precious memory for me.

Lee Know: Today’s set is a famous shooting area! I have always wanted to come here, so I am very happy to be here on such wonderful opportunity.

Changbin: It is a derelict amusement park, and it was great to be able to shoot in the unique atmosphere. I was able to have fun by feeling like I was back in my childhood.

Hyunjin: From the styling, it had a different feeling to our other photoshoots. Personally, I had a lot of fun as the costumes were different to usual styles.

Han: It’s been a while since we had a location shooting! As it is surrounded by mountains and trees, the air was good and I had a great time from the morning.

Felix: As we began filming from the morning, I felt refreshed and because we were with the members, I had a great time!

Seungmin: I have actually seen a Japanese photo book before, and it was interesting because I was wearing something similar as to what the model was wearing in the photo book. There were many cats in the set, and it was really funny to see Lee Know taking care of the cats because he seemed like a butler.

I.N.: The shoot was fun, but because I heard it was the ruins of an old amusement park, I was a little scared at first. However, the air was nice and I was able to shoot with a good feeling.

Q. You wore outfits with a lot of colours today, but do you have any styles you are liking recently?

BC: Always black! I think its my colour. All black fashion, I usually like to wear monotone looks.

LK: I actually am not really interested in fashion... I used to think about it before, but these days I like to wear whatever is most comfortable.

CB: As winter is approaching, I want to wear things that make me seem softer, or things that are large and relaxed styles.

HJ: I usually wear cute sweats, hoodie t-shirts, and big sweatpants so I think I’ll like to wear warmer things for the winter.

FX: Its getting quite cold recently, so I like wearing a fur hood outer these days! I like to feel the warmth from my outers.

HN: I don’t really prefer any fashion styles, but my style is quite showy compared to the others. The costume I wore today was colourful and I liked it, I want to keep trying lots of styles.

SM: I often like to wear long padding downs, long coats, trench coats, and long outers in general. Coats that go to my knees are warm and I like them. I was happy because my costume for today was a long coast as well. Its my style!

IN: I’m interested in street fashion these days, I used to like clothes that fitted my body, these days I like wearing wide pants, kind of like a newtro (new and retro) style.

Q. What is your favourite (pop) culture?

BC: I have always liked games, but recently, I’ve been busy and haven’t been able to do it much. But whenever I have a little time, I always want to do it... its a stress reliever for me!

LK: I watch a lot of films. Recently, I watched a film released in 2003 called “A Tale of Two Sisters” with Han. It was a horror film, but it was really great!

CB: I’m into music and YouTube. I’ve been listening to senior Kpop artists such as TVXQ and Super Junior, groups I was into when I was younger. On YouTube, I watch funny contents with fresh ideas.

HJ: I’m really into an artist called “Leellamarz” these days, I’ve only been listening to them. I have always been the type to only focus on one thing when I’m into it.

HN: I like band music, so I’ve been listening to “One Ok Rock”, and recently, I’ve been listening to an English band called “Young Blood”. It’s great.

SM: Listening to band music is a hobby of mine. After listening to DAY6 senior’s songs, I listen to a lot of rock bands these days. It’s great fun to listen to the vocals, keyboard, and bass individually. I don’t know many bands so I’m still learning. The band I began to like recently is “Green Day”. I think their music is fun and good. (Bang Chan began to sing Green Day) If I’m ever going to play any instruments, I want to try the melody parts like the guitar, keyboard, or piano!

IN: Rather than watching movies, I like reading reviews other people wrote. I like to compare my own thoughts to how other people found it. I look for many reviews and enjoy reading them.

Q. Then we’ll move onto questions about music. Unlike other groups, Stray Kids can self produce their songs which is a strength, but is there anything you pay attention to or focus on?

BC: We create our own songs and weave it into the concept, making a performance. And, I think it is the most important part about self producing is to definitely put our message into our songs. We believe it is our strength to be able to tell our message from the bottom of our hearts, and Stray Kids cannot exist without that, which is our self producing.

HN: As Bang Chan said, we like to make songs that our fans can understand, but what we focus on is having others relate to us. We try to incorporate all the feelings, anxiety, and experiences that people our age might feel into our lyrics, and we really try to have other people relate to us.

Q. What do you think are the problems of the people in their 10′s have?

HN: There are a lot of young people now that don’t know what to do with themselves now, right? They are facing who they are on the insides, but they aren’t sure. So, I focus on putting in the feelings of not knowing what to do, or not knowing which way is the right way in the lyrics.

Q. Next, I’ll ask a question your beauty. Please tell us the secrets on how you stay good looking all the time

HN: Honestly... I was born good looking so... hahaha! There isn’t anything. Next, fashionista Changbin!

CB: I think its better if you don’t stress if you want a nice or gentle look. Its important to think positively all the time!

BC: To take in nutritional food once every day! There’s no point if your body isn’t healthy!

SM: Rather than being good looking, I think it is important to keep in mind the feelings I had towards music when I started as a Stray Kids member. A straightforward heart!

FX: When I’m on stage playing with the members or performing, or when I am communicating with the fans, I think thats when we look the best.

HJ: Isn’t how good we look on stage the true style for us? Even when we make a little mistake during practise, we practise until we go on stage and make sure the outcome is a 100%. We can accomplish that because we try that hard. We heighten ourselves to the best version of ourselves, and as professionals, we showcase the perfect version on stage. I believe that is how Stray Kids maintain our good looks,

LK: I used to go on diets and care about how I look on the outside, but now I’m focusing on who I am, trying to face my own heart.

IN: Who I am on camera and off camera, me on stage and off stage, I try to make sure its all the same me. My definition of good looking is whoever that can be truly who they are, wherever they are. I always try to maintain that mindset!

Q. Okay, so how you maintain your good looks differs. How about a easier question now - please tell us anything that you specifically focus on in terms of eating habits

HJ: I always make sure if there are no eggplants in my meals! I really don’t like eggplants. The members always try to make me eat eggplants, so sometimes I eat them without noticing.

BC: There is something that I specifically focus on. It’s table manners. To not make noise when I’m eating, if I blow my nose I make sure I won’t trouble the people around me. It’s also important to chew a lot during meals, so I try to chew a lot.

SM: I don’t eat dinner the day before a shoot. Instead, I eat everything I want to eat for breakfast and lunch! I’m the type to lose weight if I don’t eat, so I make sure of how much I eat the day before.

HN: On off days, there are days where I don’t eat properly, but I have decided to eat something I really want to eat deliciously once a day! Within the group, I don’t have a lot of likes and dislikes, and I think I eat a lot. Even if I bloat the next day, there’s no point if I have no strength! Really, its an excuse though haha.

FX: I’m starting to like eating spicy foods! But, when I eat spicy foods, my body doesn’t handle it too well. I get stomach aches. Days before I have schedules, I refrain from eating spicy foods.

IN: I don’t snack at night! I really bloat easily.

Members: Han is a night snacker, so I.N. always says he’s envious of him!

IN: When I began snacking at night, I can’t stop. I eat the next night too... I can’t stop myself. So I made a promise with myself to stop. I allow myself to snack at night about twice a month!

BC: I try not to snack at night, but I usually can’t help myself and end up eating.

LK: To work out, I’ve been taking a lot of protein lately. I eat whatever I want to eat and take in proteins. I heard about green tea diet before and I was drinking Green Tea frappuccino but it was no use... But, salad and hamburger is good for dieting. Because its filled with carbs, proteins and vitamins, right?

Members: That’s Lee Know’s excuse!

CB: I should take care of what I eat, but I don’t. There is one thing I do focus on, though. I don’t eat cold food and cold drinks. Cold food isn’t good for the body... But, if there are only cold food, I warm it up in my mouth before I drink it in. It’s good for digestion too.

Q. The key content for this month is “fortune telling”, but have any of you had your fortune told before?

LK, HN, IN: We have!

Nylon: Did you believe the results from those fortune tellings?

IN: I was told 2015 won’t be a good year, but 2016 will be better...

HN: At that time, I.N. and I were part of a project. We went to a fortune telling together, and we were told “August will not be a great month” and August was really crazy. I was scolded all the time! Even the smallest things I was scolded for... I should only look at the positive things from a fortune telling, haha!

LK: I was told that my luck will go up when I’m around 30...

Members: Hahaha! How many more years do you have to wait?

IN: I actually don’t believe in fortune tellings. My parents went to a fortune teller before, and the fortune teller told them their son will either become a judge or a prosecutor. Thats why I didn’t believe in it... but, when I went with Han when I was a trainee, I thought fortune tellings are quite nice, so now I believe in half of it?

Q. A lot of the readers of NYLON JAPAN are people who treasure their individuality. Please give an advice or message to those who have dreams and ambitions.

IN: Don’t care about what other’s say about your individuality, and work on your own pace!

BC: There probably are people around you that accept your individuality, and people who relates to you and became your friends. I think it is important to be able to push on for what you enjoy.

HN: I want the people to talk about how happy and blessed they are. Even having a dream is a big part of happiness. I hope your dreams will come true!

Q. The theme for NYLON JAPAN’s 15th anniversary is “NEW POWER NO BORDER”, but is there anything of this that you relate to?

FX: NEW POWER NO BORDER! (in his native accent)

BC: We always say our greeting by saying “STEP OUT!”. This “step out” means “stepping out of the borders”. With our own style, and our own music, we want to step out of the borders! This “Border” means “border” right? That’s something I relate to.

Q. What do you want to tell the youths?

HN: There are people with dreams and people without dreams. Those who have dreams may stumble at some moments, and hard times may come along. But, if you can get over those hard times, your dreams will definitely be accomplished. For those who do not have dreams, don’t worry and look at who you are carefully. It’s not late when you find interest in something new, and I hope you’d be able to have some space for that in your heart. “Those who are talented cannot surpass those who try, and those who try cannot surpass those who have fun.” Even at the hardest times, trying your best won’t backstab you, and whatever you are doing, having fun is the best. I really want to tell them those words!

BC: It’s a little simple, but “Just enjoy!” Even at difficult situations, I think the winners are those who stay laughing. If you can have fun, good times will come. You’re still young, and life is long so “carpe diem” !

IN: Even if you can’t see the future, don’t worry about not being able to see, and it’ll be good if you focus on where you are now.

Members: Those are words for us too

Q. Within your busy schedules, what stimulates you?

LK: This is obvious, but STAY’s are a biggest motivation! This is a fact!

BC: We’re really busy and there are so many things to get done, but interestingly, when I’m talking to the members, I think “maybe the future is bright?”. I feel like I don’t have to worry. The members help me. The existence of a group is good for the energy too. We can take care of each other and stimulate each other!

Q. I didn’t think you’d enjoy this as much. Now, the interview has come to an end. Lastly, you announced your Japan debut! Please tell us how you are feeling about your Japan debut

BC: It has been about a year and a half since we debuted as Stray Kids in Korea, but we are “debuting again” in Japan, which is a new feeling. Everything is new and exciting! We really can’t wait for our Japan debut! We’re all very motivated! Fighting!

A Baby Brash Photoshoot | CB

A/n: I know this is a shit chapter, but it will get better! Please tell me what you guys think of it!

Summary: Connor plans a photoshoot for Harley

Warnings: fluff-ish, and implied smut

Word count: 1.1k

“Hey guys. Welcome back to our channel,” Connor whispers. “I know this lighting is probably awful, I’m in my bathroom since Harley’s still asleep in our room. And she doesn’t know we’re doing this today, I’m hoping she’ll like it.” He clears his throat and cracks the door open a little, seemingly checking on my sleeping body.

“God she’s so cute,” he mumbles, closing the door again. “So, um, anyway. I called my best friend, Sam the other day to see if we could set up a shoot for Harley. Or Harley and me. I just – I don’t know. I have pictures and videos of her and of us, but in our time together, we’ve never had anyone else take our picture. And I think it’s time for that. So… I guess if you want to see us go through this photoshoot then just keep watching.” He snaps his fingers before turning off the camera. “Before I forget, the word of the day is: flustered. Here’s how I’ll use it. Harley, my talented, smart, hard working, beautiful girlfriend always leaves me flustered.”

“Bubba, what’s the weather supposed to be today?” I ask, brushing out the tangles in my hair.

“Um… not too hot, why?” He comes into the bathroom with a soft smile on his face.

“Because I kinda just wanted to wear this today,” I say with a shrug. He looks me over in the mirror, my “Baby Brash” hoodie – two sizes too big – practically swallows me, making it look like I’m wearing nothing underneath. Which is a shame actually because these are probably the cutest shorts that I own.

He nods, finally. “I think it’s perfect.”

“Are you sure?”

He nods again. “Are you gonna do your makeup?”

I look at myself in the mirror – there’s definitely some dark circles I’d like to cover up. “Yeah, but I’ll keep it soft.”

Connor hums and wraps his arms around my waist. “No rush, we’ll meet up with Sam when you’re ready. I just want you comfortable today.”

I hum and turn my head to press a kiss to his cheek, “You’re a precious human being, Connor Brashier. Have I told you that recently?”

“No, you haven’t,” he mutters into my neck, pressing soft kisses to my skin.

“What? Connor, you didn’t tell me it was a photoshoot!”

“Would you have changed if I did?”

“Yes!”

“That’s why I didn’t say anything.”

“But now I’m gonna look all gross!”

“Hey, take that back! You could never,” he sets the camera on the on the counter behind him.

We lose focus for a second as he crosses the floor, but the camera cuts off our heads.

“You look like Harley. My favorite girl. You could never look gross,” he mumbles, but the camera still catches it.

“Wait, like this?” I lean on one side of the windowpane and point my front leg out.

“Yeah, good. Now look over at Connor,” Sam instructs and look over at my boy who is to Sam’s right, filming me. And I can’t help the smile that takes over my face. When we lock eyes. I’ll never be able to explain it – the way I feel about him. It’s all consuming, and even now, as Sam is directing me on this shoot, I still only focus on him. He doesn’t seem to mind, making silly faces and blowing me kisses, making me laugh out loud and roll my eyes.

I’m not quite sure if Sam is loving it or hating it because I can’t quite focus. I think that’s why he has Connor telling me what to do now.

“Lover, look to your left a little bit… Yeah, that’s prefect,” he says from over Sam’s shoulder and you see a flash of light. “Can you put one of your hands in your hair? There we go.” The camera shifts a little as he moves to the side, camera still focused on me. “You’re beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!” he gushes, which causes my cheeks to heat up.

“Connor, stop!”

“Hey, Brash, why don’t you get in there with her?”

“What? Why?”

“Well didn’t you say you didn’t have any professional photos of you guys? Let’s do a few. Look the sun is almost at it’s peak, if we head outside, we can get some good ones.”

“But who’s gonna film?”

“Alex can do it,” Sam motioned to their friend, and his roommate, Alex who’s sitting at the desk, watching the photos come through the computer screen.

“Yeah, I’ll do it. Con, you take some pictures with your girly friend.”

I can’t help but laugh at that. “Yeah, Connor. Come take some pictures with your girly friend.”

Connor rolls his eyes, “Okay, fine.”

I pout and cross my arms over my chest, “Well don’t sound too excited about it.”

His pout matches mine as he crosses the floor to me (not that you can see it from this angle), holding his hands out, cradling my face. His thumb rubs over my protruding bottom lip and he kisses my pout away. “We both know I’m always excited to do anything with you.”

“If this wasn’t a shoot I would tell you guys to get a room because this is disgusting.”

“At least he’s not sucking on her tongue like last time!” Alex comments.

“He did not –”

“When did I do that?!”

“Why are you so defensive? Because you know it happened?”

Connor points a finger at Alex, staring daggers his way. I take ahold of both sides of his face, trying to get him to look back at me.

“Bubba, pay attention to me!” I whine from the floor of his bedroom, sitting in front of his full-length mirror.

“What’s wrong, Lee?” he asks from his spot on his bed, scrolling through his phone.

“Nothing,” I mumble. “Just want kisses.”

He hums, getting out of bed, “Needy baby.”

I pout.

“Oh no, ma’am. No pouting here.” He leans down and presses a kiss to my forehead, and then my cheek, and finally my lips.

“Another one please,” I beg.

“Needy, needy,” he tsks, taking my face in both of his hands. I hum against his lips and let him take the lead, his tongue rubbing over my bottom lip.

“Now who’s needy?” I tease, pulling back for air.

“Hush up,” he grumbles. “Can I take you to bed?”

I bit on my bottom lip and nod, “Please.”

He groans, “Begging already? We have a long night ahead of us.”

I run my thumb over his perfect pout. “Promise?”

“Oh yes,” he confirms biting down playfully at my thumb, causing me to squeal. “Now, am I gonna have to carry you to bed or will you be a good girl and get there yourself?”

Boy band heartthrob-turned-rocker Harry Styles hasn't released new music or toured in more than a year now -- but that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy.

In fact, the "Sign of the Times" crooner has stayed plenty active. Since releasing his self-titled debut in May 2017, Styles starred in his first feature film with Dunkirk, embarked on a world tour, co-chaired the Met Gala and even modeled for Gucci.

And with the news that he will grace the cover of Rolling Stone next month, it can only be expected that new music is on the way from the One Direction singer. So before the world is swept up in a new era of Styles, catch yourself up on what he's been up to below.

Since going solo, Styles has...

Released a documentary

Just a week after his debut album Harry Styles dropped, Harry Styles: Behind the Album was released via Apple Music. The documentary-style film chronicles the making of the record with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.

Guest-starred on The Late Late Show With James Corden three times

Styles' first Late Late Show appearance after his album release was in May 2017, accompanied by a charming episode of Carpool Karaoke.

Styles returned on Dec. 13 of that year to guest-host the show while Corden's wife gave birth, manning the stage like a pro with a witty monologue.

Most recently, Styles joined Corden for a dodgeball game in London this June, teaming up with Corden, John Bradley, Benedict Cumberbatch and Reggie Watts for a must-see competition (and plenty of cute moments from Styles).

Appeared in Dunkirk

In what was an unexpected career move, Styles appeared as a soldier in Christopher Nolan's war epic Dunkirk in July 2017. Though his role was minor, Styles' performance packed enough of a punch to impress.

Performed on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge

In September 2017, Styles stopped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge to perform two covers: "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac and DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts." Putting his own spin on each, Styles once again proved his raw talent.

Embarked on a world tour

Beginning in San Francisco on Sept. 19, 2017, and ending in Los Angeles on July 14, 2018, Harry Styles: Live On Tour took the star throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America for 89 total shows. The tour was sold-out and had Kacey Musgraves, Warpaint and Leon Bridges as opening acts.

Proved himself a true philanthropist

Though Styles has always been vocal about his beliefs, he's really stepped it up as a solo act. In October 2017, he performed at CBS Radio's We Can Survive concert for breast cancer awareness at the Hollywood Bowl and sold tees and hoodies throughout his tour sporting the phrase "Treat People With Kindness" in order to advocate for LGBTQ rights. In total, Styles' tour raised more than $1.2 million for various charities, helped attendees register to vote and engaged in a water conservation effort. In addition, Harry Styles: Live On Tour was named on sexual harassment prevention charity Time's Up's 2018 donor list.

Had his own special on the BBC

The hour-long special Harry Styles at the BBC aired on Nov. 2, 2017, including a live performance from Styles and interview with BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw.

Won two iHeartRadio Music Awards

On March 3, 2018, Styles won two iHeartRadio Music Awards: best music video for "Sign of the Times" and best cover song for his performance of "Still the One" by Shania Twain with Kacey Musgraves.

Co-wrote a song

Styles has a writing credit on Bleachers' "Alfie's Song (Not So Typical Love Song)," which appeared on the soundtrack for the 2018 film Love, Simon. However, this was not Styles' first time writing a song for someone else: He has also co-written songs for Ariana Grande and Michael Bublé.

Modeled for Gucci

The singer has become a mainstay for Gucci, appearing in three of their campaigns thus far -- two for Gucci Tailoring and most recently for Gucci's newest perfume, Mémoire d'une Odeur. The promotional videos for each are almost too much to handle.

Executive-produced a TV show

One of the least-known facts about Styles: He was actually an executive producer on the CBS sitcom Happy Together, which was loosely based on his own life. Sadly, the show was canceled in May after just one season.

Interviewed Timothée Chalamet

Ah, the interview that almost broke the internet. On Nov. 1, 2018, a match made in heaven became a reality when Harry Styles chatted with fellow dreamboat Timothée Chalamet for i-D. Touching on everything from masculinity to that peach scene in Call Me by Your Name, it's a thrilling read to say the least.

Won Gay Times' Honour for LGBTQ Advocate

As a result of his "Treat People With Kindness" campaign and The Rainbow Project that his fans carried out at his MSG show, Gay Times gave Styles their Honour for LGBTQ Advocate Award on Nov. 8, 2018. "Styles uses his platform to make sure his LGBTQ fans feel accepted and noticed, which was most superbly displayed earlier this year with The Rainbow Project," Gay Times' announcement article said.

Gone to a lot of concerts

Seriously, it's almost too many. On Nov. 30, 2018, Styles made an appearance at Bring Me the Horizon's London show, even posing for this cute selfie with lead singer Oli Sykes.

On Dec. 13, 2018, Styles was spotted supporting friend Stevie Nicks at Fleetwood Mac's concert in Los Angeles. Enjoy this blurry video of him singing along to "Go Your Own Way."

Only three days later, Styles went to Paul McCartney's show in London, even pausing to take a few pics with fans.

The next time Styles was seen out at a concert was to catch Van Morrison at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Feb. 5. The two hung out backstage and snapped this adorable pic, which also sparks the realization that Styles has worn that gray cap to every concert thus far...

Next up on Styles' concert schedule was an LA show from King Princess, whom Styles reportedly asked to open for him at Madison Square Garden. Though she declined, it's great to see that Styles is still supportive.

Styles also saw K-pop group BlackPink on April 17 in Los Angeles, adding fuel to the fire that he was dating BlackPink member Jennie.

Styles caught a Fleetwood Mac show on June 18, but this time in London, where Nicks actually dedicated her performance of "Landslide" to him.

One Direction stans everywhere freaked out when both Styles and Niall Horan went to the Eagles concert in London on June 23. Though the photos are almost too blurry to tell, just the thought of the two enjoying a night out together had Directioners speculating at a 1D reunion.

The most recent Styles concert outing was Ariana Grande's London show on Aug. 17, where he hung out with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, getting the Internet very excited.

Partied it up in Japan

Styles has spent a good amount of time in Tokyo this year, even meeting up with some of the Queer Eye guys for karaoke. Here's him and Bobby Berk singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" for your viewing pleasure.

Become besties with Stevie Nicks and inducted her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Styles and Nicks have sparked up quite a friendship since his album dropped, performing several times together including at the 2019 Gucci Cruise. The two are so close that Styles inducted Nicks into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this March, making a sweet speech and joining her to sing "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around."

Co-chaired the Met Gala

In a look that truly broke the Internet, Styles stunned at the 2019 Met Gala on May 6 as a co-chair. Dressed in a gender-blurring Gucci getup, Styles proved himself a fashion icon.

In an interview at the event with Liza Koshy, Styles said that the theme of camp is about "enjoyment, non-judgment and having fun with clothes."

Almost had two huge movie roles

This summer, Styles was in the running to play Elvis in Baz Luhrmann's upcoming biopic and even "in talks" with Disney to be Prince Eric in the upcoming Little Mermaid live-action remake. Despite initial conflicting reports about Prince Eric, Styles will not be playing either role.

Worked on new music (and music videos)

And finally, in another telltale hint that new music is to come, Styles was revealed as the cover star for Rolling Stone's September issue on Aug. 19. It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these “favorites” posts where I’ve just rounded up some of my most-used products from the past couple of months and raved about exactly why I love them so much. And I’ve definitely missed doing that. So, without any further ado, here are a couple of my favorite products and yes, they’re amazing. And beautiful. And you need them all. Just sayin’.

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Color’Ink #L112 No Filter ($32USD/$34CAD)

There’s going to be a lot of Guerlain makeup featured in this post today but it’s only because I love Guerlain that freakin’ much. Definitely one of my top three makeup brands fo’sho (are the cool kids still saying that? Probably not).This Color’Ink is Guerlain’s version of a liquid lipstick but it’s so much more than that. It’s a cross between a gloss, a liquid lipstick and a lip stain. A 3-in-1 product?! Y’all know I love that. It comes in a wide range of gorgeous colours but this nudey coral is definitely a Taylor shade. It’s so pretty. My only complaint is that while these Color’Inks last for a long time on the lips, they have this peculiar super sticky texture for the first half hour you are wearing it. It feels like you just superglued your lips. It’s interesting to say the least but it really does look gorgeous on the lips.

Urban Decay Space Powder ($17USD/$15CAD)

A few months ago I started to realize I really don’t have many highlighters in my collection. I usually just stick to a select two shades (the Estee Lauder Bronzed Goddess Gelee (review here) and the Dior Glowing Gardens one), but lately I have just been really feeling the need to switch it up a lil’. When I saw that Urban Decay had come out with a super cute travel sized highlighter in their Christmas collection this year, I knew I had to have it. I absolutely love that it’s miniature because I will never ever use up a highlighter (let alone anything else in my extensive makeup collection) so the size (and price point) was perfect for me. Plus it’s the most beautiful shade. It’s a light yellow-y champagne with superfine gold glitter. It’s definitely a lot more glittery than my other shimmery highlighters but that’s what I love about it. I can’t wait to wear this all over my body on New Year’s Eve this year!

Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick ($32USD/$35CAD)& Holiday Case ($17USD/$20CAD)

Guerlain recently revamped their pricey Rouge G lipsticks and made them (surprisingly) less pricey and more fun. So now, instead of buying just a normal lipstick in a boring old case, you can now buy the lipstick and the case seperately. Guerlain has a bunch of different shades (I think around 30 in total) and 15 different cases in the most beautiful prints and designs! For my shade, I picked #06 which is a very neutral, everyday rosey pink but the case is where I really got to have fun. For the holidays this year, Guerlain released a limited edition gold pebbled case that is absolutely stunning. I always like limited edition things more so this really helped me make up my mind on which case to get!

Guerlain Holiday Meteorites Electric Pearls ($65USD/$81CAD)

Speaking of limited edition things, I also absolutely love the limited edition Meteorites that Guerlain releases every single year around Christmas. I have the original meteorites and for those of you who aren’t familiar with them, they’re essentially these handcrafted (AKA shaped by hand) powder pearls in different shades that create a flawless, blurred finish on the skin with the perfect amount of luminosity. They are quite the bougie makeup item but nothing makes me feel happier than applying these every morning and smelling that sweet, signature Guerlain scent. Mmmm. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous. And you already know I’m a sucker for packaging.

Replica Lazy Sunday Morning ($126USD/$155CAD)

I have this special place in my heart for Replica perfumes. They are designed to evoke a special memory or emotion from deep down inside you instead of just being yet another floral scented fragrance. I’ve tried the Replica By the Fireplace perfume before as well as the infamous Lipstick On perfume and I’ve fallen in love with them. Both are unlike anything I’ve ever smelled before. The Lazy Sunday Morning isn’t as unique but it’s definitely something different from what I’ve owned in the past. It’s the lightest, freshest scent and it’s the perfect perfume to wear when I’m not getting all fancied up. I tend to wear very sweet, heavy scents that don’t exactly match a hoodie and sweatpants kind of outfit. Now I don’t wear that kind of outfit very often but when I do, the Lazy Sunday Morning perfume is the perfect scent to compliment it. It is described as smelling like soft skin and bed linen so really, what’s better than that?

Dior Ultra Rouge #485 Ultra Lust ($37USD/$43CAD)

I have so many Dior lipsticks but they will forever continue to surprise me with all their new launches and how I continue to love each and every addition to their product line. These are the brand new Ultra Rouge lipsticks and at first, I was a little confused how they differ from the normal Dior Rouge lipsticks. But essentially, they’re even more pigmented than the originals with a 12-hour wear and a satin, almost matte finish. And even though they tend to be more of a matte finish, they are still super hydrating and comfortable and I don’t find they dry out my lips any more than the average lipstick which is definitely a good thing in my books. The shade, #485 Ultra Lust, is, like any other shade I own, a rosey neutral. Surprise there. It’s described as a warm rosewood which basically just means it’s going to be yet another everyday lipstick for me, but I’m definitely not complaining!
