🥵 Ok idk what inspired everybody, but I’ve gotten a few spicy questions about the characters for TBH and it’s just in the planning stages.  Not that I’m opposed to answering such things, but I am surprised.

But you guys are here for the spice so...

Kinks, you say?  Let’s see...

HENRY- There's no specific kinks to speak of. Henry gets the maximum amount of pleasure from pleasing his partner, so he's pretty easygoing in the bedroom. He’s very perceptive and it doesn’t take him long to figure out what his partner likes despite his lack of experience with sex and relationships, so he’s surprisingly good in bed.

VICTORIA- The thing about Victoria is that she likes to show off, so she’s likely to enjoy dressing up in lingeire, even if it’s just some lace under her usual clothes.  It really makes her feel sexy to have that little secret, and she will enjoy teasing her partner with it, for example adjusting her top so you can see she’s not wearing a bra underneath (she’s just small enough to get away with this in a public setting).

JAYME- Jayme is the least experienced out of all the ROs so it may imply that they are a virgin (which I can neither confirm nor deny) but once they are comfortable, they will enjoy sessions that are long and intense, possibly with edging involved.  They tend to be submissive in a relationship.

ELENA- While she’s a strong and independent woman normally, Elena likes to be pinned down and manhandled in bed. The loss of control is a huge turn-on for her, although she won’t admit this until deep into a relationship.  She does martial arts so she's also pretty flexible and can do a lot of fancy moves and positions.

RICK- Exhibitionism. Nothing major, but he likes to take risks when it comes to location. He's had sex in his office more than a few times and once had to buy a new desk because of it. He also has a very high libido so be prepared to sneak away often when you are out and keep an eye on exits because they do have a thing for semi-public sex.

KIRSTEN- She's pretty vanilla when it comes to The Deed. Kirsten just wants to be taken care of, and likes sensual and gentle touches. She is all about emotion, so small intimate things like holding hands or eye contact will really go a long way for her.

AKIRA- Bondage, especially with silk ropes and ribbons. Shibari I think it's called?  Handcuffs are a big no-no because of the harshness of the material.  With Akira, you can expect the greatest quality of aftercare, which he also takes great pleasure in.  

MAX- This guy is pretty open to trying anything once, so as long as everything is consensual, he would be willing to do whatever his partner wants.  Goes wild if you kiss his neck just below his ear.

Sarah’s 100 Followers Challenge!

Firstly, thank you to all those following me! I did not expect to get into writing fanfiction (even though I’ve been an avid fanfic reader for years) when I started using Tumblr at the end of last year.  I really just needed to try and find more Hvitserk fanfics to read so I turned to Tumblr and it did not disappoint.  Then I certainly did not expect to meet such wonderful mutuals and reach 100 followers after I did start writing back in April.  So to celebrate this milestone I’m doing a challenge!  Participating in @maggiescarborough​ - 500 followers challenge is how I got the courage to start writing and sharing that writing.  They’re really fun and creative and I would love for anyone and everyone to participate if you wish!  They’re a great way to make friends, try something new, or challenge yourself!

FAMILY

HISTORY

as the second son of a second son, willas was never supposed to inherit anything, but the gods clearly had other plans. his uncle, the original heir to ashemark, perished young without any heir and so willas’ father became heir and then the ruling lord. when willas was born, it appeared he fell into the role his father was meant to be had tragedy not struck: the second son, the spare, the forgotten. and that he was.

lord castor had previously commanded the lannister’s army and so placed great value on swordsmanship and the type of strength and attitude he expected his knights to possess. his first son, jayme, lived up to those expectations. he would become a kngiht at a very young age and while as an adult he would develop a reputation for being unyielding and even harsh, he was the perfect heir to lord castor. but if jaime was a fighter then willas was certainly not. he was a quiet child, always had his head in a book, and showed little interest in learning to wield any weapon. a clear disappoint in his father’s eyes.

thankfully, lady genna marbrand shared none of her husband’s views (many say that was why their marriage remained a political no matter how many years passed). she adored both of her sons; however, it was undeniable that she gave more attention to willas so he didn’t feel neglected. he had clearly inherited his love for books and thirst for knowledge from her. his mother encouraged him to focus on his studies rather than following in his father’s footsteps. however, this didn’t help lord castor view his spare heir in a positive light.

when willas was ten, his mother decided to send willas to live with her family at the crag, believing it would be a better environment for him. she was correct. without his father constantly voicing his disappointment in him, willas thrived. his mother’s family treated him like another son, and he was much happier at the crag, coming out of his shell more, though his quiet nature could never be fully shaken. willas lived with his extended family for the rest of his childhood and even into adulthood. he had no reason or desire to return to ashemark.

willas was practically cut off from him family when he moved to the crag. only his mother wrote him letters but when he was thirteen even those letters abruptly stopped. it was moons before he understood why; his mother had passed away after giving birth to her fourth child. the baby, a boy, also hadn’t survived. since that day, willas has had practically no communication with his immediate family. 

willas was elated when he was asked by king to be his master of laws after the previous one resigned due to old age. at 28, he moved to king’s landing and assumed the role immediately. he took his role very seriously and still does to this day. 

however, he has become slightly disillusioned with the current targaryen king due to some recent decision. but at his core willas is loyal to his king and hopes that these recent decisions have been mere follies that will not be repeated. except his doubt continues to grow. it has made him be more dedicated to his role and a stronger advocate for decisions he believes should be done, hoping that a strong voice of reason with temper the king’s rashness. 

willas never had any intentions to return to ashemark. he visited the crag when he could but never ashemark. but then an illness swept through the marbrand’s lands and not even the ruling family was spared. both lord castor and lord jayme fell ill. neither would recover. willas found out about the sickness and later on that his father and brother had succumbed to it when the rest of the small council did. sitting in the council chambers, he discovered that he was now the ruling lord of ashemark - a role he had never desired nor felt prepared for.  

for the first time in twenty-four years, willas returned to his family’s home once the sickness passed for his father and brother’s funerals. he stayed there for the appropriate amount of time, helping put affairs in order and learning what it meant to run ashemark, but as soon as he was able, he returned to king’s landing. though he stayed informed about what was going on back at ashemark via frequent letters and did his duty as a ruling lord from afar. 

a year has now passed since the deaths. willas is still adjusting to his new role as a ruling lord but despite his own insecurities he is committed to being a good lord and proving his father, who never thought his younger son would achieve anything, wrong.

12. favorite character to write about this year:

Danny & Lena Marks. I’m not even kidding. You’ll understand how much I love them once I bore everyone with SMH Ch.10. At least half of that chapter is just a one-shot about how they met when Lena tried to murder him.

The next best answer is Michael Guerin. It’s Michael rather than Alex because I relate to Alex pretty easily. It’s Michael I had to search for through writing. I’m not all the way there yet, but getting better, I’d say. My understanding of him as a character has drastically changed since I started writing in May.

So, I don’t write long fic, but I also don’t read long fic. 100k is a no-no. Over 100k???? I fought reading this story for so, so long. Caved and read it overnight refusing to fall asleep until I was done. Now I will read whatever L writes and the longer the better. <3

Truly a masterpiece and one of my biggest inspirations for starting to write again. I can only hope to write something a fraction so accomplished one day.

hey if u feel comfortable answering, how do the ROs help an mc with a bad mental health day?

I struggle with bad mental health so I do feel comfortable talking about it. Personally, I have depression and a severe anxiety disorder where I get uncontrollable panic attacks. Let's assume MC has the same problems as I do.

Henry, Kirsten, and Jayme also struggle so they would know exactly what to do to help MC feel better. It would be something they have talked about already, so it would be tailored to your specific MC how they react and what they do.

Akira would do what he does best; bake something delicious and pamper MC with cuddles and kisses.

Elena would insist on watching some cute comedies like Ghosts (She loves that show)

Max cracks dumb jokes and orders takeout from your favorite place. You better believe he's going to be extra charming and cheesy.

Rick will cancel anything he has on his schedule to be with you. His teenage years were a dark place, so he sympathizes with you and will offer silent support by holding you in his arms as long as you need.

I think Victoria would have the biggest problem with a situation like this because she would have no idea what to do. She'll ask before reacting, treating you with kid gloves so she doesn't upset you more. However, she will follow your instructions to the T. Your comfort is her top priority.

HENRY -

He graduated with honors from Cambridge University at the age of just 22 with a PhD in Egyptology. His goal is to discover the tomb of Alexander the Great.

Deathly allergic to shellfish.

RICK -

Has written several books, one of which became a bestseller. All profits went to charity to help victims of the 9/11 attacks (his father was NYFD and died in the collapsing of the Twin Towers)

He and Victoria once got married while dunk in Las Vegas.  The marriage was annulled after about a week.  

VICTORIA -

Her parents were stockbrokers, so she grew up rich and spoiled, and was raised to be a strong and independent woman. She was named after Victoria Woodhull, the first woman in the United States to run for President.

Is a direct descendant of the poet Lord Byron through his daughter Ada, Countess of Lovelace, hence her middle name (Victoria Lovelace Gaviston)

JAYME

Their family is devoutly Roman Catholic. They were born in Vatican City, Rome, and shunned by their family when they came out as non-binary.

An incredible artist who enjoys sketching people they see walking past their townhouse window. They have countless sketchpads filled with drawings and always carry a pad and pencil with them.

AKIRA -

Born and raised in Sapporo, Japan a to working class family that owns a teahouse there. Akira has dual-citizenship with the United States, as his maternal grandfather is from Philadelphia. (This makes him 1/4 Irish-American)

As is traditional in Japan, his family name comes first when he is addressed, which is why in the story, he is listed as Asano Akira or Dr. Asano.

KIRSTEN -

Her twin sister Kelsey has a podcast called Cold Cases and Cocoa, where Kirsten frequently guest stars. They talk about all murder mysteries and drink hot chocolate every other Sunday.

MAX -

Almost always seen wearing his father's leather jacket, left behind for him when his father died five years ago of brain cancer.

There's a very distinct scar on his left forearm that stretches halfway down from his elbow, the result of a motorcycle accident when he was 19.

ELENA -

Her older brother Erik is a veteran of the Iraq War and now owns a bar called The Junction, where she works as a bartender.

She modeled on occasion to pay for college and was once in an ad for Levi Jeans when she was 18.
